The best VPC in the area. Very professional and accommodating. I have used the VPC in Charleston, SC and this one blows them out of the water. I was stationed in NC, so had a choice between Norfolk VPC or Charleston VPC. I had an appointment, but missed it due to my vehicle having some problems. I called and they were super friendly and said I could re-schedule or just walk-in when ever the problem was fixed. So I ended up leaving my car behind in the states to get fixed and have a family member ship it for me. I made another appointment, but my car was fixed early, so my brother said he would just try his luck with a walk-in appointment. He was in and out, no problems and told me the whole team was very accommodating. Like i said I had a choice between Charleston VPC(very rude people on the phone and were trying to give me the wrong car) and Norfolk VPC, I would choose Norfolk 10 out 10 times if I ever get stationed back in the southeast.

Very easy process if you follow directions on website ahead of time. Arrived early, they took me right away, went through check-in, paperwork, inspection with no dead time in between. Very thorough inspection, too.
The worst place to ship your car from. They give you the run around for no reason. And dont say if all your paperwork is straight you wont have a problem. Thats not true. Short story long. 😊 My car had a recall that the paperwork clearly stated that no resolution was available yet and another that did not affect my vehicle. They still delayed my shipment, made me go to the Nissan dealership to get a note saying the same exact thing the paperwork said. Its on your VIN so we need verification. I promise I cannot make this up. This was a Friday so I had to wait until Monday for an appointment at the dealership. Not to mention I drove from North Carolina to ship my car. Than it took forever for them to inspect it and get it processed. I gave them two stars instead of one because the guy who inspected it for cleanliness was really nice and didnt make me re-wash it after all that drama. Advice- go anywhere besides here.

I had a very pleasant experience. Mrs. Boyd was very thorough and patient with me. Everyone that I encountered at the VPC from the security guard who did my initial inspection, to the ladies behind the desk, to the gentleman who completed my final inspection made my experience very easy and I couldnt be happier.
Maaaaaad slow. Waited three hours even with paperwork done and ready. Very rude front desk lady who acts like she hates her job and that having customers is a disservice. They definitely would rather socialize and do their job. Super poor service, do NOT recommend.

The people that work there are very nice, that is my personal experience. My appointment was at 9am and I finally left at 11am. Because of COVID-19 they only want the person that needs service inside so the person that as giving me a ride back sat in her car for 2 hours. So if you are getting a ride back from a friend have them meet you there at least 45 minutes to an hour after your appointment if coming from far. Locally just call them when you are done. Overall I had a great experience and the people working there were very nice.

I dont know why these people have the branches flags in the lobby. They dont make it easy at all for people PCS out of here. Services are slow witch a person like me has a really good tolerance for, but what I cant stand is unprofessionality and arrogance. Which judging from the previous reviews youll most likely experience the same things as me good luck !
Easy to find and super friendly staff
They claim to process your vehicle within an hour provided you have an appointment! I had an appointment at 8am, arrived at 750am and still didnt finish processing until 1116am! Keep in mind, I had all my paperwork together and had no issues. I still waited! Let me not fail to mention the worst customer service ever. The was the most professional there!

Great people and quick service
They dont seem to follow their own procedures for every customer. I was treated differently than other customers. Not in a generally off putting way but it did leave me asking what the difference was. The lady that does check-in runs the desk like every Customer that has came through the door knows exactly what theyre supposed to do on arrival and she doesnt understand that her instructions are unclear. She needs training in the worst possible way.

My car was 1 month late and my front bumper was damage. When I pointed it out to the representative he laughed and say “you are not going to get anything because your car is depreciated”. On top waited 3 hrs from start to finish and issue was not even resolved.

Someone called to confirm to make an appointment for pick up on our vehicle because it arrived. Husband said hed called them back to schedule a time. He called back and spoke to a lady that said he didnt need an appointment and while he was explaining why he called she cut him off before he could finish. Now that were here, we walked in and she asked us if we had an appointment or not. Husband looked at her and said you must of been the lady I spoke to over the phone.We have service members that come from all of the world that use this organization. Friendly customer service is something that shouldnt be so hard. Its important to respect others how youd like to be treated even if your having a bad day. Please hire and train employees who value this.I can say that the gentleman that helped us with the inspection of the vehicle was friendly and accommodating. We waited less than an hour and got there first thing in the morning.My vehicle had rock chips and looked like paint was put on the vehicle to cover it up and yes it was some kind of touch up paint. Vpc offered us $450 cash instead of filing a claim and didnt believe my husband.We filed a claim and got a quote from a body shop that cost $750 to fix the damages. It was confirmed by the auto shop guy that it was touch up paint!Pay close attention during the inspection and do notate every little thing just like they did when you shipped it.
They never contacted us when our vehicle arrived. We called and asked about the car on Sept 5 and asked when our car would be here and I could hear the attitude from the lady on the phone with my husband saying that they recieved it on August 19 and that they have been trying to contact us. We NEVER got an email or a phone call. She repeatedly asked my husband when we would like to pick up the car after HE REPEATEDLY said we need it asap. She then said, Just come and pick it up then. My husband was very irritated. When we went to go pick it up without an appointment, the receptionist was not welcoming nor polite (probably the same lady that answered the phone). *Additional star because we got our car after 30 min of waiting and the inspection guy was nice and got us out quick after meeting with us.I would advice you hire more PROFESSIONAL and POLITE people to represent the company if theyre going to be answering phones and providing customer service.
