Planet Fitness is clean and well air conditioned. The attendants are on the ball and the environment is lively and spacious. The price cant be beat. Five stars!

I recently joined Planet Fitness in Cherry Hill New Jersey. I had the pleasure of working with the excellent staff at the location. The facility is well maintained, very clean and the staff did a great job explaining everything to me. I would highly recommend this location.

Id like to take this time to thank the management and staff of this Planet Fitness for the handling a very sensitive and troubling matter. A member was in the gym last month and was being very rude and disrespectful to another member when asked to wear their mask properly. The member that was asked to wear their mask properly started cursing and calling the other member names and was totally disrespectful. They stated that Covid 19 wasnt real and asked who did the other member vote for. We currently are living in very diverse times and this gym is one of the few places that we can go to have some sort of normalcy in life with being subjected to being criticized because of how a individual feels. No one should feel harassed or intimidated. The matter was brought to the attention of management and was handled accordingly. Thank you very much. Your gym and staff are greatly appreciated.

Great place

This is a great, clean, basic gym. The staff is always friendly and everything is maintained well. Although I would love to have other equipment options but at the price point you cant beat it.

Very average. Great pricing. Hidden $40 annual fee charged 2 months into membership. Had to search the web to find out what this was, turns out a lot of people dont know about it. Cant have a bag with water on the floor with you, even if its tucked under machines so nobody can trip. Massage beds usually arent working the way they should. Was easy to cancel, though. The membership gives you the basics, you can go and workout for cheap, so thats good, and the beds feel GREAT when they work. But nothing screams outstanding.

Always feel very welcome when I walk into Planet Fitness. Darius always had a smile and something nice to say. The atmosphere is very comfortable.

Great gym across from where I live off of route 70. Has all the equipment I need and have never had to wait too long to use the machines even if it’s crowded. They have always been perfect with prices and member fees. I have been here for over 7 years!

I had a membership years ago and they live up to the no frills gym mantra. The employees do not enforce rules on the equipment or conduct. The smell is closely akin to what a medieval dungeon must have smelled like. The locker room is dubious in appearance and usage. When I cancelled my membership, the employees assured me it was but I kept getting membership fees charged. When I asked for the money back, they refused to take responsibility for their actions and offered a small portion of the amount. I gave up on trying because even their corporate office would not help me.Management does not care about you.If there is a planet that needed climate change, it would be this one.

My gym, a lot of equipments and helpful people, but its a bit far from where I stay. They have very convenient time schedule so you should not have any issue with time, they were having a promo deal which was like 10 bucks a months, so its cheap. They also gave me a personal health appointment with one of their personnel.

This is a great facility. Front desk people are very friendly . My brother is visiting me and attending this GYM for short time. Last Thursday my brother was syncope front desk people called in ambulance in within a minute. Those people ( front desk and emergency technician ) gave my brother great help. My family are very appreciated for Planet fitness.Staff in this facility are warm, friendly and knowledgeable. They keep the facility very clean and air is fresh.

AYFKM? This is the best bang for the buck gym on the planet. I also belong to the super $$$ gym over in Mt Laurel because of kids and greedy wife but I do all my real workouts here. Fast and efficient with a very low J.O. factor. Highly recommended.

I am so impressed with the staff at the Cherry Hill Planet Fitness. The trainer, Brooke Lorup is very knowledgeable and is a great asset. She is always checking to make certain we are using equipment properly, that we are hydrating, and not straining. She seems to know how to push us without exceeding our limits.The other staff members are also very friendly and accommodating.

The place have a huge selection of machines for all your body parts. You only need the will power to use them. I like the tanning, sauna and the massage chair. They have many lockers for day use, just bring your lock.

Of the various PF locations in the area, there isnt anything special about this one. But the staff is friendly and the gym is clean. other locations have newer equipment and renovated locker rooms, but there is nothing wrong with anything at this franchise. I often visit this location due to convenience and would recommend.

I previously gave a 5 star review. This is the closest Planet Fitness to our home and had the best equipment. I loved this Planet Fitness. I raved about it. Now, I had a change of heart because renovations have been going on for five months. For months, my husband and I had to use a disgusting bathroom outside and deal with drilling and cords all over the place while trying to exercise in peace. We were deterred from coming for two months because of this, so that is 40 dollars down the drain. I even heard the gym was closed for two weeks, but we received no type of reimbursement. We received a flyer in the mail saying Renovations Complete! Cherry Hill Grand Reopening Sale, so we came back. This ad was false advertising because they are STILL doing renovations, painting all over with cords all over and workers all over the place. The massage chair isnt even available for use. I used to love this gym, but this is absolutely ridiculous! I think Ill just stick with the gym at my apartment complex, even though the equipment is much older.

This is the best planet fitness Ive ever been to. They have a black card member spa ... in this spa there are hydro-beds/lounge chairs which are really great for post-workout relaxation. The facility is clean and has more equipment than the typical planet fitness

Over the course of making the switch from LifeTime Fitness 1 year ago, and working closely with the PF staff, I can honestly say that I love my decision. Brooke Lorup has never been more supportive and has made me feel so at home. She has helped me improve my health for the better. I am so grateful I made this move and I love all everyone at planet fitness for helping me achieve my goals! I recommend this place to anybody who is looking for a great staff, fantastic trainer and a great place to call a second home. 10/10!

Been working out 4-5 times a week for 53 years at several national gyms, many of which have come and gone. Joined Planet Fitness 3 years ago and am exceedingly pleased. The hours, price and availability cant be beat. The staff is very friendly, helpful and hardworking. Cleanest gym I have ever been in. Even during peak hours, most of the equipment is accessible although this location could use a third PecDeck. Some of the lockers are broken but I have been told they will be replaced over the summer. Overall, excellent facility.

Cant beat it for an inexpensive gym. They recently renovated this location. The equipment is good & the staff are friendly. It can get crowded on certain days & times. Its not a body building gym with free weights. They have dumbbells up to 75lbs and Smith machines, cardio equipment & lifetime workout equipment.

This place definitely exceeds my needs.

I love how they redid the place esp2the womens locker room is much better and looks more cleaner than previous. They have variety of different equipment that is easy to you and offer pictures to help you. Its very cheap to join which is a plus.

ZERO STARS- Unethical staff! They are making me give them one to even post this!! I just spoke with the Manager Mike because I signed up in January and was not told that I was signing a year contact. In January they did not give me a copy of what I signed on the tiny little screen and I was told by John the salesmen word of mouth that I could cancel at any time. Then I mentioned bringing a guest- I only took the $19.99 deal to bring a guest and I have never brought anyone- so I never would have accepted a year contract form a company that boosts that you can cancel at anytime. They stated that the contract was emailed to me. The ethical way to know that I have it is to give it to me in my hand. They are running a scam!! They have people sign a small screen and tell them lies just to make a sell. I would never go to a place like this and when I called about it I was told people call and say things all the time as if I am lying. HORRIBLE UNETHICAL MANAGEMENT.

The only reason why Im giving this gym 3 stars is because they recently updated all of their equipment & added some new ones. My only gripe with this location is that it gets HOT in there. They dont have the huge industrial ceiling fans that the new PF locations do. Even in the winter time it gets toasty in there. Just imagine how hot it gets in there in the summertime. I switched my home location to Brooklawn. The gym is brighter, new equipment, and 2 industrial sized ceiling fans.

This location is into harassment. I checked in with my membership card then they wanted me to sign in and claimed it was a waiver in case of injury. Since when is a sign in sheet a waiver or legal document ? It is not it’s a sign in sheet that is unnessary and a hassle . Everyone signed waivers when they sign up not every time you go to the gym . Be a professional gym if you are going to operate under a professional franchise .

I used to go to the gym but then I changed to LA fitness. I had upgraded to the Black Card because I wanted to bring a friend with me for free. At the time of me upgrading I was not told that there was a contact for my membership. As I was just reading some of the reviews, I thought back to when I initially signed up and don’t recall them telling me about the contract... it was a small contact on a tiny screen!!! Like other reviews have posted, it is a SCAM! Switch to LA fitness, no contract, no maintenance fee, and no annual fee. SO much better!!! I’m going to dispute the cancellation fee to my credit card company because I think it’s unfair!!!

I go to 3 different Planet Fitness centers most weeks depending on where I am that day and this one is the best -- large, clean, good equipment selection for a Planet Fitness and not overly crowded when I usually go which is around 9pm.

Absolutely awful experience. I called and cancel my membership.and they continued to charge my account. After calling they basically said thats your problem and there was no way to give me MY money back. I would never trust a business that makes there money by deceiving their customers. They also claimed I had been their since, which was a lie. I would truly recommend staying away from this place. Pay a little bit extra and got to a nicer gym with employees that have integrity. The best part was when i received a call back from the employee that canceled my membership to tell me he was reactivating my membership because he didnt like that I called his manager...it was like dealing with children. Please please please stay away!!

Mediocre. Not a fan of their ab machines at all. I think if they played with the layout a bit things wouldnt seem so constrained. Staff is decently friendly.

A great Planet Fitness location with a plethora of cardio equipment. Very clean. A great place to get tanning included with a Black Card membership. Definitely my favorite place for cardio in Jersey.

Your basic Planet Fitness gym. Since the remodelling, the building is much nicer. One star off though because they are missing some machines like Rowing.

Front desk staff are rude. Having to sign their wrong franchise sheet every visit gets pretty old pretty fast too.

What kind of Planet Fitness isnt 24/7? Some of us work until 11pm on the weekends and would like to go to the gym afterward.. I also dont like the way this location is set up. If you want to do any cardio, you have to go up on a platform. It certainly doesnt feel judgement free when youre up high in the middle of the gym. I really wish there was a different PF closer to me, if there were I would transfer in a minute.

Nice Comfortable place to workout.

Called last year because they stopped charging me since I hadnt gone in a few months. They told me the account is closed. They used that word. Closed. A year later, they charge me randomly, then tell me theyve been calling me every month and emailing, and even texting, when I have NEVER received any of those. Getting rid of them is a pain in the ass and their staff is terrible. Never again.

I had very bad experience the staff is very rude and the place is unsanitary. It is overpriced for what they offer and it is a scam they say ten dollars and you end up paying thirty dollars after about a year.

Why isnt it 24hrs? All planet fitnesses are 24hrs besides this one. I try to come in after work on Sundays and they close at 7pm. Like if you are going to close early why not 10 or 11pm. Why 7pm? Ridiculous!!!
