Employees need to learn how to communicate with the customers because it was like I was the representative and they are the customers. So rude and disrespectful. The car has a broken seat and I was fine with that but the rudeness of employees. If I could give 0 star I would.
This was our first time using Hertz. After multiple friends telling us to go with them, Im glad we did! Steve at the front desk was so helpful and very patient with us! He also got us a great deal! Highly recommend and will be using them again!
Zero stars. Our vehicle from another hertz location about 30 mins away was going haywire and the check engine light was on. So we came here. The woman (who couldn’t bother to look up from her cell phone ) said “sorry we have no cars. You can get roadside assistance to PHILLI airport”. What ??? Why not OFFER another vehicle since ours was UNSAFE? She made ZERO effort to help us. so we left. And the car died. What an abysmal experience. Don’t even bother with roadside assistance with them. They don’t answer their phones.

Your mission statement goes as follows Our mission at Hertz is to be customer focused, cost efficient, and provide an unforgettable car rental experience for whatever journey you may be on. Sound great, but staff/customer service dont fully understand it, nor abide by it.The manager at this location was rude, had a lack of empathy and was unable to provide solutions nor attempt to do absolutely anything to help my situation or at least get me going on my journey. When I asked who can I talk to above her she was dismissive and undermining. Called Customer Service only to be bounced around by different departments with no solution in sight. If this is the example the manager sets for your staff, I feel very sorry for them and for your company.Im not mad because I had to cancel my trip/journey, Im sad and frustrated because I wont be able to see my daughter nor be able to spend time with my Dad who has advanced Alzheimers. It will be my mission to leave as many bad reviews in as many social/internet platforms available so nobody else has to experience what I went thru today.
Horrible experience, go elsewhere for your rental! I should have realized it would be a bad situation when I arrived because the building looks extremely shady and run down. I booked online for a car same day and arrived only to walk in and have an employee tell me there was nothing available despite my reservation. He was absolutely unapologetic and extremely rude. I asked if he could contact other Hertz rental locations and he was completely unwilling to help in any way. Will never ever rent with Hertz again.
Met all the criteria including sufficient funds to rent 4 cars from these folks. After I wouldnt pay for their insurance all of a sudden they couldnt take my credit card or my debit card. Avis of Mt. Laurel rented an SUV instead of a Ford Focus. The staff are shifty and fake.
I do not recommend! Terrible service. First vehicle provided was not safe, metal clanking/rattling noise, vehicle pulled to the right and (in winter with snow) the wipers was not functional. Asked for another vehicle then was provided a car that smelled like and ashtray, cigarettes and marijuana. I was charged for a day rental for 4 hours after I was informed there were no other vehicles available. On another note, Enterprise in Cherry Hill picked me up from Hertz within 15 minutes of this incident and provided friendly service with a clean safe vehicle.
Made reservation online on Expedia. When arrived they said all cars are sold (on a parking lot was like 15 cars) except huge Tahoe. And I need to pay $75 per day on top of what I paid to Expedia already. Terrible service
As far as rental car experiences go, this one was great. The customer service at this office is top-notch. Very personable and accommodating. The rates were appropriate and I enjoyed the vehicle I received.
The staff here were really unkind. Some of them ignored their customers and later got angry. I will never visit here again.

TOLD WE CAN GIVE YOU A BASIC COMPACT AT THE SAME PRICE. WE CAN ONLY GIVE YOU THE NEXT SIZE VEHICLE IF YOU PAY EXTRA. IN THE END TOOK 3$ OFF THE COST OF THE BASIC COMPACT. WE WERE IN A JAM BECAUSE CAR WAS ON THE FRITZ, AND AAA RECOMMENDED GOING TO HERTZ. PREVIOUSLY ENTERPRISE HAD THE SAME ISSUE HAPPEN AND THEY UPGRADED TO THE NEXT SIZE UP AT NO CHARGE. GO TO ENTERPRISE THE STAFF THERE IS PROFESSIONAL AND VALUE YOUR BUSINESS. CUSTOMER SERVICE AT HERTZ: WE WILL INVESTIGATE, THAT WAS YESTERDAY.

Extremely bad customer service. The CS lady Alyssa there was rude and racist and so was the manager and didn’t want to work at all and very lazy. Had major attitude issues.The manager Stephen was another piece of art was even worst than Alyssa. Have no concept of CS. Not sure why Hertz hire such useless people. They didn’t honor a confirmed reservation for a presidents circle member and refused to work at all. Didn’t get the car and then I asked If I can come next morning/afternoon but still refused to work on that stating that they don’t have any cars at all till next day 6.00 PM (their closing time). On top of that she started lying and showing attitude (typical for for people) I personally spend approx 15 to 20K annually with Hertz. Will request my corporate office to stop giving business to them which runs into millions per year. Shame of such people and their professionalism at hertz.The previous managers and CS reps were just great. The company needs to take action against this dumbos.

The place is really small. Its also easy to be missed while driving. They do not have much selection also. People are very helpful though and nice. I had to do changes in my reservation and one of the lady helped me a lot every step. They generally ask a credit card with 50 dollars on it. They do not take probationary license.
Second time Ive rented a car for a road trip. Excellent experiences both times. They pick you up (be sure to call the day before to arrange that). Rental return is quick and painless. Ive never had an issue with this location! will rent from them again!

Customer service is absolute garbage. Im almost confident I couldve been treated better in a 3rd would country. Youre wasting your time using Hertz, especially Hertz in Cherry Hill. If you truly want a good experience and car, I recommend going to a competitor no matter the price difference. Can you imagine getting charged for something that doesnt pertain to you and not get it refunded no matter the physical paperwork proof provided? It was a nightmare I experienced and I dont want any one else to have to deal with the stress and headache brought on by Hertz Cherry Hill. Paul, the manager, does not and will not help you, hell just direct you to corporate and go back to his office where you can blatantly hear him on his phone watching videos. Save your money and go to a competitor I can guarantee youll get a better experience.
Rented a clean new vehicle from them. Easy process. Car was basically new. Check in was equally easy. Located on a very busy corner with little parking space. Cars are everywhere!
Quick, easy, and inexpensive experience. Upgrading to an SUV from a full-size was a breeze (needed more space to fit our stuff) and they even gave us a choice between three SUVs. There were some scratches on the car that they had noted but the interior was immaculate and the exterior was freshly washed. Unlimited miles was a nice perk since we took a 400 mile detour. Night-time drop-off was very convenient as well (drop box). I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Horrible customer service, terrible selection of available vehicles, staff is very limited in cars they offer, times the cars are available and they make you feel like they are doing you a favor engaging in conversation with you - do yourself and Hertz personnel in this office a favor and call the Enterprise on Haddonfield Berlin road - have had good experiences with Hertz elsewhere - they are way off here - and I am happy to forego my AAA discount to deal with the professionals at Enterprise who really do want to help and provide customer service
Made a reservation online for an economy vehicle. after arriving there was no availability for the reserved car, there wasnt anything to substitute it, or anything that would cost more but still withing reasonable range. the only option i was given were a full size suv at 5 times additional cost or some other luxury vehicle. so hour completely wasted and no rental.
I was rear ended and needed a rental car for 1 day while my car was getting repaired. It was through the other persons insurance and Hertz delivered a car to my dealership. They indicated they only needed a credit card for incidentals, and the rental would be charged directly to the insurance company. Later I realized my credit card was charged so I called Hertz in Cherry Hill and they hung up on me and did not provide a solution. I then called the insurance company and they refunded me but said Hertz did not follow the proper instructions and tried to “double dip” and get paid twice. If I hadn’t been proactive I never would have gotten my money back. I’d recommend using National or Enterprise to avoid hassles!
The worse! Cars are not cleaned prior to renting. Consider them doing you a favor if they offer to clean upon you noticing. Dont ever schedule a 5:15 pm to 5:30pm pick up theyll keep you waiting & likely close without ever contacting you.
Nice, fast. Washed the car for me before I left. After hrs return a plus, wasnt going to be able to make it the morning of my return so I was able to take it the night before.
We have rented from this location a couple times this year and we have never had a problem. The manager exemplified great customer service and we were in and out within minutes of arriving. We were also impressed with the vehicles we received, especially the last visit as we rented a new 2016 Kia Optima (full size bracket). It was an extremely smooth ride and the car was equipped with all the bells and whistles technologically speaking. The car was also surprisingly spacious, which was what we were most concerned about. I would definietly recommend them to you!

Fast and friendly for one of the smaller Hertzs Ive rented from. The only issue was that they had a small selection of vehicles and tried to pawn off a Kia Soul as a full-size vehicle. No thanks!

Used Enterprise last year and had a great experience. Family member chose the Hertz location on Rt 70 in Cherry Hill for some reason. Horrible customer service, the people I spoke with at the location cannot speak English very well so communication was a major issue, closed at 1PM Saturday and no hours Sunday. Called the national number and service was even worse. Was trying to inquire about extending a rental and the agent hung up? Was also told to call the location where the rental was acquired but that just routes back to the national number when closed so not sure what the point was.Overall, the car is nice so give them credit for that but the price seemed a little high compared to charges a year ago at Enterprise for similar model/make. Customer Service and communication is my major issue so will not use Hertz again on any level unless I am forced to.
We had booked a SUV car last December for a road trip to Florida. Utterly disappointed that inspite of booking much in advance and given the preference, It was not honored. We had to cancel at last minutes and arranged an alternative from a competitor.
My personal experience is not so good in terms of keeping the promised rental amount to be charged. I am not going back there again for car rentals. I booked a rental car from that location, from a third party website for the weekend and returned it on Sunday evening at their drop box facility and was surprised the next day when I was charged for the whole next day (3 Days) whereas while taking the Car when I had specifically asked about dropping the keys on Sunday nothing was informed to me at-least for curtsy-sake. Rental agreement also showed the charge for two days. Finally when I have contacted them no steps are taken instead advised to go through a long terms and conditions section in agreement.
First I must say the Rav 4 that I ended up getting drove fine I didnt have a problem with that car, but my problem was that it wasnt the vehicle i was supposed to rent it was supposed to be a caravan. Which for some reason wasnt there when I went to pick up the vehicle. I waited for some time and vehicle never came in. So I ended up after a little frustration taking the Rav 4. I just didnt understand how a vehicle I setup for online wasnt there upon pick up. In the long run the manager helped out and gave us Rav 4 at a cheaper rental price because it was cheaper than caravan to rent. I saved money but just wished I had the vehicle is set out for.

My husband picked up the rental car at the cherry hill location.It was disgusting to say the least.The seats were wet and stained and sticky substance throughout the vehicle.I cannot believe they even rented this vehicle at all.I called and expressed my disgust and they gave me another car alittle less gross.I will never rent there again!.I would rate this -star

Worst car rental experience ever. Avoid this location at all costs. After being kept waiting for nearly an hour, I was told that they didnt have a car for me, which had been reserved in advance. No apologies. It only got worse from there.
I booked online through Hot Wire web economy car when I got here they dont have small car available,So wait 3hr to rent car, people were nice but my recommendation is call them or any car rental before you arrive there.
