I was surprised at the quality of service here. Shop even got my tire pressures perfect. I own a 2012 VW TD. My vehicle is not easy to work on. I will be coming here from now on for all repairs.

Great service. My truck broke down and they came out to check. They called a tow truck for me and although I was able to start the truck and drive to their shop they took the time to check it out. They did not charge me for there time and were great to work with. I hardly recommend them.

Very disrespectful and condescending to both me and my husband. If you are a college/ 30 year old girl, dont go! Plus sold us 4 tires 2 of which popped within a year and a half. When we tried explaining the situation the owner blamed it on us saying we were driving over nails on purpose and that no place would ever offer road hazard warranty. A quick Google search shows that multiple places in Spokane offer this. If you ever need a hole patched, go to Les Schwab which offers Free Flat Tire Repair Service! We have since used Mechanics Pride in Spokane and had much better luck.

Took my LR3 Land Rover in to have brake pads and sensors replaced. Purchased the parts online, and they had no problem doing the work for me. I also asked them to do an oil change. Very happy with the work they did. Reasonable prices.

They do a good job on repairs. Good local business. Competitive with other repair shops around the area. Only issues Ive come across with them is communication on certain things like calling when the vehicle was done or if uncertain about something calling to ask questions. Just recently found out they discontinued their Military discount. Was a big reason I also chose to do business with AMG.

Im so happy to have found this repair shop!!!!! Because being a single mother with little knowledge about vehicle repair I feel I have always been an easy target for repair shops to take advantage of me and over charge me, make me think I need to get more repairs than the car actually needs and the list goes on and on but AMG AUTO from the beginning was absolutely amazing! I was Lucky enough to have gotten to work with SETH, he was awesome, extremely honest about everything no hidden charges or repairs or anything like that, he explained things to me so I understood everything and I wasnt confused or anything of the sorts I felt very comfortable and he did an amazing job and went above and beyond to get my car back to me asap. Took my vehicle to get it diagnosed... They kept it over night, cleared the fault codes, charged me $55 and told me nothings wrong with it, but considering it wont stay running... If you want to throw money away for nothing take it to amg....

They are more than willing to talk to us...off the clock...about a car issue and often give us advise of what we can do at home before shoveling out the big bucks. By far the most honest people I have ever dealt with. I live on the other side of the country from my daughters school. She was having transmission problems, so she took it to AMG and all it was was low on fluid. It would have been so easy for them to sell me a transmission job and nobody would have been the wiser. It’s nice to know there are still people out there you can trust. So if you have a child going to school in Cheney and you live out of town, this is DEFINITELY the place to go!

I sadly took my car to a different place and they didnt fix it right and charged me a lot of money. AMG fixed the problem for less money. This is the BEST place to go.!!!! So far definitely one of the better shops Ive ever been to. Typically I dont like to bring my truck into shops and Id rather do it myself because of many bad experiences but these guys changed my mind on it. A previous shop botched a job and they fixed it quickly and for a reasonable price. They had found the mistake within an hour and my truck was ready by the next day. Their prices are at about a middle point in terms of shops but its definitely worth it. Compared to what Ive heard of other shops in Cheney, youd save a lot of headache by going here. They also never tried to sell me on having to replace other parts which is a great change from money hungry shops that will try to throw parts at many things unrelated to the initial visit.

I have had nothing but good experiences with AMG Auto. First off, I love that theyre a locally owned and operated business. I have had both older (2003) and newer (2016) vehicles at AMG for different services from smaller (oil changes) to bigger (timing belt service, intercooler replacement) and I feel that theyre always fair and honest about price. Heck, they once even recommended me to another shop, because they knew that the other shop could do it cheaper.My only complaint about AMG is that theyre often scheduling more than a week out because theyre pretty busy. But then again, would you really want to take your car to a mechanic who is not busy?Keep up the good work yall.

My engine blew on a road trip and I was towed to AMG. Seth checked out my car and we quickly came to realization that it was a goner. He is such a nice guy, he ended up driving me to Spokane to get a rental car so I could continue my trip. He also let me leave my car at his shop while I figured out what I wanted to do with it, no stress at all. I don’t live in the area but, if I did I would definitely bring my car to Seth. He’s trustworthy—I appreciate that in a mechanic.

Needed my timing belt and water pump replaced. Called around town - repair fee was hefty, but pricing seemed competitive. Seth gave top quality customer service; couldnt be happier with him. Since the repairs, Ive driven 1,000 miles without issue.

Had power steering work done, was supposed to replace power steering pump.Got conflicting messages when asking to see the old power steering pump. Was told old pump had already been shipped out. Couldnt see purchase order for the new pump.Was then informed that it hadnt been replaced yet.So, claiming replacement was already done, when it wasnt.Not up front about the actual state of the repair.Edit: after having some time to think about it, I now think it was more of a misunderstanding / miscommunication. After finding the error in work assumed done, I was only charged for what was actually done.

Went in to get a bolt extraction the so called mechanic drilled all the way through and cracked the cam cap and didnt even offer to fix his mistake. A horrible place to get your car fixed. He tried blaming the crack on the bolt but when I checked it the night before it was clean and free of cracks so he drilled to deep with a drill bit to wide and cracked it. After all that he still charged me for making my situation 10x worse.

Aaron and his crew are very reliable, and trustworthy. He makes sure that I always fully understand what is the problem and what the solution is. Highly recommend these guys.

Our family was traveling back from Idaho and our diesel truck started leaking oil from the turbo. They got us in within a day although they were booked. We couldnt be more greatful and they definitely saved the day. Would recommend them to anyone great service, price, and in our case flexibility.

Aaron has always been straight up with me. Hes even told me when a part has life left in it. For example, he told me some bit on my car is going to need to be replaced and I said, well I guess we should order it. He said, I wouldnt order it right now it still has at least 6 months left on it. When do you hear guys say that?? Hes also told me youd better get that replaced, I wouldnt let my mother or wife drive with that problem. His prices are reasonable and he shops around for used parts too if you want to go economy. I love that guy and Im not the only one in Cheney that feels that way!!!

I would never recommend this place to anyone. So many things went wrong with my experience with this shop. Warning! Take pictures of whatever they are going to work on in your car if you can because they broke a part of my car and said it was like that when I brought it in. Now Im left with a bigger issue. I wish Id never gone there.

My car has been having issues for a while, I didnt know what was wrong when getting gas and my car flustering to start. My engine light came on and I found out the 02 sensor was broken, causing the gas to not be regulated as it should be. I got the part at a store but I couldnt find anywhere that wasnt too far away as Im a current student at Eastern. I was fortunate to find and schedule a appointment within a weeks notice to replace the part at AMG. I dropped my vehicle off the day before, as classes started the day of the appointment. I was surprised at both their speed in fixing the part, and giving a generous labor cost for replacing it. I got my car back the same day of the appointment at around noon. The auto repair is busy and may appear unprofessional since its not a big corporation, but I plan to go here in the future whenever I need mechanical help with my vehicle for the honest work the employees give.

By far the most honest and straight forward repair shop on the west plains. Thanks for taking care of multiple vehicles for my parents and my business!

He found the problem and had it fixed quickly and, unlike other shops I have delt with, I didnt get hit with the, you really need to fix this, that and the other thing before your truck catches fire and you and your son die a tragic death kind of freak out tactics. I highly reccomend this place and with the top notch service I recieved I will most definitely be back for anything my truck needs.
