They like to wait until two weeks before graduation to deliver your package of invitations and announcements and tell you they won’t refund your money! I doodle recommend these people. Buy your invitations somewhere else if you want to send them out before graduation
My son paid for and ordered his cap and Gown almost 2 months ago. Only to be told today that it was never paid for/ordered. And he has been desperately trying to reach this office and cannot get through to them. To the point of calling corporate office and they tried to reach him on a back line and they couldnt even reach him. Seems pretty shady to me.**UPDATE** so now they they have also screwed up my sons $70+ Graduation Invitation order and weve been told it would be 2 weeks before we could get them. Graduation is in 5 weeks from today. Ive spoken with corporate and had them put in a request to cancel the order and refund us our money, because corporate again attempted to call the office and could not get through to anyone.And in reference to the original review Mr Williams felt that it was acceptable talk down to my son due to my review. Maybe if someone would answer the phone and not be rude we would not have had to deal with it by resorting to writing a bad review, because that seems to be the only thing that got his attention.
Ok, (the owner gets all 5 stars) I was angry, because I was unable to get my sons ring before Christmas. I agree the lady in the office was difficult, but the owner hand delivered my sons ring to me as soon as he got my email. I really cannot stress how much I appreciated that. I didnt leave a review while I was angry. I just put the whole thing into perspective.People make mistakes, the owner went out of his way to please me... Problem solved!!!The ring is stunning! I swear when I opened the box, and seen the quality I was blown away. Its beautiful! My sons reaction was worth the wait. The product is what really counts, and I am extremely happy.So, Thank You, John Williams, may your business make millions. You cant buy human kindness. He did what business owners should do. He made me happy. He spent his gas, and drove over an hour, to satisfy me.
Rip OFF! Beware....they try to sell you more than you need. They even charge a convenience fee if paying online and a $17.95 package & handling fee. If you simply want to order the minimum (cap, gown, tassel, diploma and cover) for $65, they dont offer that on their giant orderform. They give special verbal instructions in a student meeting as to how to order them. The student has to fill in the blanks on an envelope. Its ridiculous! They purposely do this to make another $100 out of families that may not have been given that information from their student. Its sad they they have a monopoly and we are forced over a barrel to use them. Come on Hamilton County, you can do better than this!
Responses to reviews:Mrs. Larson, I apologize for any inconvenience, but today talked with your son. I discussed with him policies/requirements of our vendors. This is the only complaint from any individual concerning communication problems. Unless we are in schools, someone is here 5 days a week, 8:00 - 4:00. I also discussed with him the number of times I personally met with/taken orders at his school, 5 times since Sept. 5th! He stated he actually called this past Friday, 3/29, @4:33-after hours. I have represented this company for 46 years and take special pride in customer service. Again, I am sorry for any inconvenience and hope this helps.
This is a absolute disorganized, ill managed, and horrible representative and contracted for Balfour. Balfour should be disgraced to have someone as I’ll organized as him representing there company. Ordered invitations to then be told that their local office failed to print and send them to the company that produces them. Thus forcing me to get a refund because it would be too late to send out to people and expect them to have time to prepare to come. Also badgering me when I had to call about another problem concerning my cap and gown, that was a fault in their online payment method. Which I still let in to after listening to him complain about the fact that he would have to pay late fees.Would absolutely never recommend this company and my school agrees to the fact of this was an absolute horrible way to end a senior year.Corporate will be in contact soon sense he states he has nothing to do with them, great way to represent Balfour, absolutely terrible.
Their rings are nice but customer service is terrible. They are never in the office. Even during posted hours, they dont answer the phone or nobody is there.
The only reason that I am giving them 1 star is that I dont have the option of giving them no stars! Horrendous customer service!!!! The lady that answers the phone, when they do answer the phone is just flat out rude!!! If Ooltewah High School did not require my sons cap and gown from these people, I would not buy anything from them at all!!!!!
