I had my hair highlighted by Phil twice. The first time he told me it would take time to get me to a cool blonde. I understood. The second visit was horrible. I asked for a cool blonde again. I specifically asked to make sure there was nothing brassy. My hair is now three colors. He told me he doesn’t need to tone hair after bleaching because he’s had so much training in the past. I trusted him. The front of my hair has a large bluish white streak. My roots are brassy and gold. Kind of a burnt orange color. The rest of my hair from the roots go between bright yellow, orange, and white. I was in shock when I got home and looked in the daylight. I let him know and he said to stop by. I got a second opinion that said I should not go back, because if “he’s being doing hair for thirty years,” he knew what he’d done and allowed me to leave without it being toned or fixed. She said it could turn out worse and my hair would break and possibly fall out. I asked for a refund and I’ve been given the runaround for days. Basically I’m out $150.00. I’ve never had this happen. I’ve been very nice about it and have asked for a refund. I’ve been completely blown off. Excuses. I hope no one else goes through this. My friends have seen my hair and have compared it to something that happens when you try to do color at home and it fails miserably. I didn’t want to leave this review, but my hair is damaged. It will take months of growth and cuts to be healthy again. My hair will barely dry. It’s mushy. My hair is a mess and I’m getting married in three months. I wanted it to look nice for our photos. I’m so sad and disappointed. It’s very wrong. This review is not for the salon as a whole. It’s for this stylist. I don’t leave reviews for any businesses, especially after Covid had such a hit, but this is wrong.I would never do this to someone.Update: I’ve spent 300 so far to have this corrected. My original hairstylist has started fixing this for me. Going to be out a total of 500. Ridiculous. Do not make the mistake of having this happen to your hair!
