Missing 3 items ordered … I called and was informed they are in the middle of shift change and don’t have any drivers to deliver the missing items … don’t use this service .. just found out Uber eats has a cheaper delivery fee will be using them in the future and would encourage other to use them instead
I regularly used this service for years--they were great. However, their customer service has gone from mediocre to abysmal. I hate not supporting a local business, but Im taking my $ to DoorDash and Drizzly.Edit: Regarding the owners response, the most recent instances of poor service were noted to the support email address; they did not deign to respond. Mistakes happen, but you didnt try to make it right. Thats why I described your customer service as abysmal.
I like that they have a lot of restaurants to choose from. However, occasionally some orders are incorrect (most are the restaurants fault and not of the deliverer) - but when I call them they end up getting my order fixed (either through refund or having to deliver what was left out). So in that respect customer service is great to work with.
We’ve ordered food from dinner delivered many many times over the years because of the convenience and ease of it. I get mistakes happen and they are far from perfect, but they have always tried to be accommodating and helpful when they make a mistake... NOT TONIGHT.The driver delivered our order to another house, so instead of a meal to feed 4 people, we received one small item (should have been a red flag to the driver that a 70 dollar order wouldn’t consist of one box).I called customer service and the only offer she gave me was for the driver to return to the other house to pick up my order... DURING A PANDEMIC. After arguing, customer service finally agreed to refund me, but said they could not replace my order because they were too busy. I asked to speak with a manager, but they were also too busy to speak with me. Please support Uber eats or door dash instead
This is one of the worst delivery apps. Half of the time the real time delivery doesnt work. If Im ordering lunch and pick an exact time to get it delivered it comes to my work an hour early so its cold. The delivery drivers will pass your place of residence to go pick up other orders first so again the food is cold. On several occasions my meal has spilled and the driver knew it but delivered it like that anyway.
Well, what can I say I tried this service last saturday night and it turned out to be a disaster. I went to the website and sent in the order around 7:00 pm. The app said it would be delivered between 8:00 and 8:11. I checked back about 30 minutes later to check on it and the delivery time had been bumped to 9:05pm. Finally, I wrote my comments in the box to let them know how i was feeling. Someone did call to tell me that the restaurant had not put in my order and that it would be no later than 8:20 pm and he was sorry. The delivery guy finally shows up at 8:55 with no explanation or apology and to top it off I had some specific delivery notes for the driver and he just tossed them out the window I guess. Needless to say I wont be using Dinner Delivered again!!
They banned me for complaining about slow service and cold stale food. That a good tactic. Cancel the complainers
Ordered from Big River in Hamilton. Big river has always had excellent service and food. Our meal was far from this. The delivery was 45 past the late time. The salad was soggy and our Mac and cheese an pretzel bites were frozen. In addition to the cold food which I could have lived with our pretzel bites only came with 4 pretzels instead of the normal 8. I would never use this service again and I will highly recommend to any friend that they never use this.
First time user-website order would not go through. Called Customer Service. They kept asking me what was wrong. I kept telling them. They said they didnt know how to fix it. Took order over phone. They got the day wrong. We caught that. When dinner didnt arrive . They had no record of our order. Called the restaurant - they had the order. Got through to Dinner Delivered - they didnt know where the dinner was because they had no order number. Dinner Delivered called back. THey had the order. It would be delivered 45 minutes late claiming rush hour traffic.No apologies, just excuses. Dinner lukewarm at best.No apologies made. No recompense made, I do not recommend this service.
We have used this service a lot over the past 5 months and have never had any problems. The food is delivered within a reasonable amount of time, its warm, fresh, and the drivers respect our delivery request (text me instead of ringing doorbell). I highly recommend them.
I prefer working for DinnerDelivered rather than other delivery services for several reasons...There’s always enough employees working to ensure timely delivery. If there is an issue concerning a restaurant making a mistake, customer service is top notch, and you’re not forced to wait on hold for long periods of time. Plus, you can have alcohol delivered! They employee people that work full-time, not just as side gigs, so we provide better hospitality ensuring your night in is a treat!
Although I was glad that my dinner was delivered before the expected time frame, I was not pleased with the condition of my dinner. I happened to be outside when the driver delivered my food. I noticed that she was carrying the plastic bag lopsided. I asked, “Is my food supposed to be like that? (Meaning the content of my food was all spilled out of the carry out container). I was a bit shocked at the driver statement, “It sat straight in my car.” She never apologized and said she would call corporate and sat in her car for about 1 minute and left. This was my first using this application and will be the last.Side note: The customer service representative was very nice and professional.
I ordered and the food got there super fast, the ordering process was very simple as well. There prices where reasonable they basically will deliver all over the place unlike other services and best of all they deliver alcohol! Ill definitely be using again!
Only received part of our order from City Cafe. Credit card was charged $102.00 and receipt from restaurant was $66. Did not receive sides to entrees ordered or a $12.99 salad. Delivery said they would go back and get it. Did not return. Called Dinner Delivered and went to voice mail. Left a message because text message said if we did not call by the end of the day (5/1) there would be no refund. Was charged $36.00 more than order and missing items.

I placed an order 1 hour before the delivery time window of 7:33-7:43. I had to leave the delivery location at 8pm. I waited and still know food at 8pm. I had received no call or text stating any delay in the delivery but clearly there was one. I left the location and called customer service. I stated that I was leaving and there would be no one to receive the food. The person checked and said they were very close. I stated sorry but I have to leave, I actually was already driving away. I asked for a refund and they said they would look into it.I later received about half of a refund. I emailed back asking why I did not receive I full refund. They responded that many issues made it to where the food was going to be late. In the end they still did not feel the need to give a full refund. To anyone who offers a delivery service. If you state a delivery timeframe and cannot meet that timeframe, you should at the very least let the person know it will be late. Everyone has a cellphone and it is easy to make a phone call. I paid for a service and that service was not fulfilled . If you want to have your money stolen than by all means use dinner delivered.Update:To dinner delivered who recently responded to my review. I already contacted your costumer service center as I clearly stated above. You have all the information. There is no reason why I should have to call customer service again or email support again. If you really wish to correct the issue then you should give the full refund. The person I spoke with previously was Teddy Jones. I have had to spend way too much time trying to resolve this issue.
Quick and convient with a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. Delivery was fast. AND they deliver alcohol too! I highly recommend them for a night staying in.
Dinner delivered is the best delivery service in Chattanooga! Not only do they deliver alcohol, but they are also locally owned and operated. The employees are wonderful and service is excellent.

Are used to be a driver and kept noticing that my checks were lower than they were supposed to be. But they would not provide me with any documentation. If you plan on driving thank twice about it

Called at 6:13 pm the food was suppose to arrive by 7pm. At 7:16 pm i called and tried to cancel. The girl wouldn’t let me. The driver arrived at 7:24 pm he made out with his girlfriend in the car for 10 min while we watched. Then he got out put on a shirt and pulled his hair back to bring the food up. The order was totally wrong. I called dinner delivered and they did not seem to care. Worst delivery service ever! Do not order from these people ! Stay away
You really can get any kind of food you can imagine, PLUS they deliver alcohol as well! Kara was my delivery driver and she made the whole process smooth as silk. You really need to check this place out!
Insane markup for inferior service. The only reason this business survived is because it was one of the few services of its kind early on. One of the clearest examples of this is that the fast food menus show inflated prices for combo meals, and yet do not include the drink. On top of a delivery fee, there’s the tip, and the baked in markups in every item you see. I just don’t see anything to justify these prices
Had food delivered to my job and the order was completely wrong(nowhere near what I ordered). They replaced the order and this is what showed up. Dinner Delivered said that they would be refunding my money, but for some reason I dont think its going to happen. I am extremely disappointed. Customer service was nice though. I spoke with customer service again and they were able to give me a credit for for my replaced order. Customer service is awesome.
I ordered mexican tonight. Yes, go figure, on Cinco De Mayo. Food arrived more than 2 hours after I ordered. Ok, I can understand the restaurants were slammed. But it arrived cold. Hot food after 2 hours I can blame the restaurant. Cold food (not warm, cold!) I blame the delivery service. Maybe next holiday you will be better prepared and have more drivers. I doubt I will use the service again.
I have ordered 30+ times with DD Chattanooga, and they have always been 5 star. No issues at all, besides 1 order missing a sandwich. They redelivered the sandwich in less than an hour with no charge and even added a cookie and a brownie. Thank you for the great service DD. I highly recommend using DD Chattanooga over other competitors.
2 hours 45 minutes to get food delivered. Placed order at 5:30 got food at 8:15. Estimated time of delivery was 6:38-6:53. At 7:15 I called to see where the food was. He told me that the restuarant got behind, but they was making our food right then. I thought okay, if it takes 20 minutes to make 2 burritos and 10 minute drive, it should be another half hour. At 8, I call back. That customer service guy told me he called the restaurant 3 times and they wasnt making my food and he was going to refund my money and they will bring the food when its done. The driver got here at 8:15. He apologized and said he had just got the call. I assured him it wasnt his fault and I appreciated him. The food was cold, not warm, cold and the order was wrong.. Lesson learned, we will never use this service again.
They need to treat their employees much better. It’s been said the owner cares more about money than people and personalities, that is pretty pathetic considering we the drivers make him rich. There are plenty of delivery services out there I suggest you try one of them.
I ordered pizza from gondolier and had dinner delivered bring it to me. Upon opening my box of pizza I had waited for an hour to get, I see my pizza that looks like it’s been shaken and thrown across the car several times. I am very unhappy with this service. You get your first delivery free which is nice but I will never use them again. First impressions matter the most.

Very dissatisfied supposed to recieve order at 12:15pm the delivery got moved to 12:45pm... if i was informed this prior to ordering I would have just got it myself. You should really get yalls stuff together.
Not only did they take 15.00 dollars out of my account and then refuse to give me my order but their delivery driver was rude as hell. I wish there was less than 1 star they would get it.

I was a bit concerned to go through DD in ordering for a board meeting luncheon due to reviews. Our experience was nothing but positive. My boss comment: They arrived minutes before 11:30am at the exact location and even brought the food up to the second floor. I signed the receipt and off they went. Well be back. Thanks, DD!
I pretty much use dinner delivered every week, sometimes we order to the office all together. I can not say how great it is to be able to not have to leave work to have food from all over town. And if the restaurant forgets something, theyve always offered to go back and get it. You can order from almost anywhere. Definetly recommend trying them out.

This delivery service is a joke. They forget half our order everytime. I have had to contact them so many times over this and yet agin just now. So they are correcting my order but just email me showing its giving me yet another delivery charge for bring my order that they forgot. I wish I could attach my email to this review.

Terrible policies and terrible customer service. Our order was completely wrong last month. I called and we were told the order would be rushed out to us, but it didn’t arrive for over an hour. We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and give them another shot. Today we ordered food and not only only was the order an hour late, but it was, again, wrong. It actually appeared to be another customer’s order, which means that that customers food was wrong, as well. When I called to inform the company that the food was wrong and explain my frustration over the fact that this keeps happening, the person I spoke to did briefly apologize, but then made it clear that the company doesn’t care about this prevalent issue. I was informed that the drivers don’t check to ensure that the orders are correct when they pick them up. The person I spoke to also stated that, somehow, the fact that the company keeps delivering the wrong food “isn’t on them.” His exact words. The failure to see fault in this absolutely blows my mind, and really shows what kind of company this is.
There isnt another service in Chattanooga that provides delivery for such a wide variety of restaurants. Nearly any type of food youre craving is available. In my personal experience after a year, they are nearly always on time and I get what I wanted. On long, busy days its nice for us to be able to just enjoy the evening without having to cook and clean.
I know people are looking for an easy way to get good food.Dont look here. Horrific customer service and 75% of the time the order is wrong let alone always late. Like 2-3 hours late...Prices are higher online than dining in. Delivery free is extremely high and you have to tip as you checkout.
Tried to use a gift card twice and pay the balance with a credit card. Total amount was charged to credit card both times. The app makes no sense on how to pay for food!
Had Mellow Mushroom delivered to me last night. This type of thing is why Chattanooga is a great place to live. I got to play with my kids, and we had a nice dinner in, thanks to these guys. :)
Placed an order for Rice Boxx. Immediately called customer service and explained exactly how important it was that the order be correct (it hasn’t been many times) because I have an autistic son who will not eat of the order is incorrect. The ENTIRE order was for him.Food was delivered. Order was incorrect, missing the rice completely. Called customer service, “we can’t fix it. Our drivers are gone for the day”. He’d JUST left my house!Explained that my son would not have dinner at all because of this (my car will not start, dead battery, obviously cannot fix it tonight”. They said there was nothing they could do. Fine, asked for a refund. First guy said he would refund just the entree. I asked again for a full refund as the entire order was useless without being complete. Refused. (Only additional item was egg rolls and delivery fee and a coke - which was delivered HOT). Asked to speak to a manager, put on hold for 5 minutes. Hung up and called back. Second guy says he will give me 50% off - which is actually less than the first guy said. Again, asked for an entire refund as my son is now without dinner. Said no. Insisted it be refunded. He said “fine, I’ll take care of it” then hung up on me.We order from Dinner Delivered 1-4 times each week (usually from my daughters account if anyone working there even bothers to read these reviews).You’ve lost a very good customer. Obviously, considering the reaction of your customer service team, you don’t care though.
Why does the restaurants pricing change on your website?? Not only are you charging more than the restaurants charge, you also add in a delivery fee on top of that. Who wants to pay $15 for a hamburger?? You need to lower your prices and you would get a lot more business!!
When they leave comments like the one below on your review that state “redelivery or refund” and “reconciling orders” don’t waste your time calling, they respond hoping that you don’t see it. I called for them to have them tell me that I had lied about how late my delivery arrived. No help was offered.
Even with an $8.99 delivery fee, they still jack up the prices of the food. Nachos from a local joint in my town are $8.99. Dinner delivered marks them up to $11.39. Same with the cheese dip. It is over $1 more than the actually restaurant charges! All American Grilled delivers for free...why would I pay this place to deliver the food? It is absolutely ridiculous.
They were the first but they have managed to become last. Food is most of the time late and they dont give you any status updates and the food is cold. I would try Waitr. They give you status updates via text and the food arrives hot. Same delivery fee too. $5. You guys had the market!!!! Glad there is competition. You have lost me as a customer
Absolutely horrible. Their online order taking system is confusing & doesnt clarify what youre actually getting. When you call to clarify and understand what happened, they just argue with you and in no way try to make their customers feel valued. Even after asking to speak with a manager, the manager was too busy to be bothered with a concerned customer and just pawned it off on the customer service rep. They dont even deserve one star - if I could give 0 I would.
It was OK for awhile, but the quality of the service has decreased a lot over the past year. Food is never delivered on time - it is delivered anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes late. Items are often missing or incorrect. The hot food is cold and soggy, and the cold food is ruined. The drivers are always polite and professional, but have no way to rectify anything themselves.DoorDash and Uber Eats always offer me a credit or perk when they mess up (and sometimes just because)! When one restaurant completely screwed up by giving my order to another delivery service, Uber Eats made sure I got my correct order as quickly as possible and refunded some of the purchase price.DD, please look into the service models of Uber Eats, Door Dash, and even Shipt. You could use a good lesson on how to run a good customer service program.
My food was hot and delivered earlier than the stated time. The driver was very courteous. Great way to order mellow mushroom or chilis without leaving the house.
It never fails that every single time I order from this place they do not check the orders and I miss food that I pay extra for! I have a newborn that is sick so thats the only reason I use the service but I will be using another one as my food was just delivered and yet again Im missing a side that I paid for just like I do every single time! I love the food, and the convenience of the service, but the drivers themselves are the dumbest human beings on the planet. They always get lost in my apartment complex. Personally, I hate that I have to give the tip before I even finish ordering.
I’m not sure if it was Buffalo Wild Wings fault or dinner delivered but I ordered a small split wing and was short a wing. How do you get that wrong? Or did my driver get hungry?!
OmgshI have ordered food several times but tonight I must complain.....ordered a pizza from Crust Pizza (about 10 minutes away) and it was horrible. Cold and the crust was like eating leather... Past few times I have ordered my delivery has been late (this time by 20 mins plus) and when calling, no one is available to answer the phone. For a $5 plus delivery fee I would hope my food would at least be warm when it arrived!!!

I had wonderful service from Dinner Delivered for quite a while, but my past few orders have been horrible. The food is generally cold, late, and incorrect. Customer service is terrible. They think offering to refund a couple of dollars is the answer. Having delivery drivers actually check orders would go a long way toward customer satisfaction. Most of us are willing to pay the ridiculous markups because we are too busy or exhausted to go pick up our own food. However, getting my entire order delivered should not be an outrageous expectation. The choice between waiting another hour for the rest of my order, or a $3 refund, is not an appropriate choice. I will no longer waste my money in the future.

Charged $51.53 for food and they left receipt on the bag from the restaurant and the food was only $22.12....I understand charging a delivery fee but $29.41 delivery fee is ridiculous. ..was told when I called they charge dinner prices even though its lunch because they cant change their menus at dinner times....bullshit! ! Never again will I order from them!!if you are gonna charge me for dinner atleast give me a dinner plate.
I’ve tried dinner delivered multiple times and really wanted to like it. On three separate occasions I’ve only gotten part (this time half) of the order. Each time customer service has been really unhelpful. I would not recommend. Go with Uber Eats or Waitr instead. Use only if about to die of starvation. They charge more than the restaurant, charge a delivery fee And want a tip!Also, Im sure why online they ask you for a delivery address when they follow the billing address info. Buyers beware if you live out of town but are visiting Chattanooga. Also, the driver might have been the slowest person I ever met. He called for directions, then asked dispatch to call, couldnt work our buzzer, And was 20 minutes late. Since we received attitude from driver and dispatch, we will not be using this service again.
Ordered several times and so far Ive had one order missing items, one order we got charged an extra $50 on the tip on top of the $20 we put down, the next we had the wrong items, and another missing item order. The missing items got delivered but 2 hrs after the fact. The drivers are nice enough but all the food has been tossed around or upside down, also the sodas are always warm.
We have tried to order with Dinner Delivered twice and both times they have messed up our order, been extremely late, and then had terrible customer service! The first time we had ordered a salmon salad and they didn’t check to make sure the salmon was in the bag. When I called to tell them they blamed it on the restaurant. I asked to speak to the manager and they said he was busy. The second time we used them, we called 30 minutes after our quoted delivery time and they said the driver got lost and couldn’t find our house. We live 2 miles from the restaurant. When I explained that we had ordered milkshakes and now they were totally melted, the customer service rep told me that Five Guys milkshakes were always runny. We will never use this company again and hopefully they will go out of business soon now that Waitr and Uber Eats are here and they both know how to run a successful business.

I should have listened to the reviews. A simple Burrito was over an hour later than they scheduled. It was cold, beat up to hell, and looked as though it was rolling around on the delivery drivers floorboard. (Do you not give your drivers insulated delivery packs?!?! USE THEM!!!!!!)
I have been a long time dinner delivered customer, over four years. The last four or five times the service was notably worse and worse. Now after waiting more than three hours for food and being lied to multiple times ive had enough. Dont waste your money, its not worth the hassle. Cold food, forgotten food, food that never comes, and severely overpriced items plague this company and its only getting worse.

Driver reeked of cigarettes, delivered hot sodas, and is very obviously tweaking on some sort of substance. I dont like the fact that a sub-par person has now scoped out my home, and the high probability that the driver smoked with my food in the car...so nasty and unsanitary this will probably be my final order from you guys
Dinner delivered came through for my son. He surprised me with dinner for Mothers Day. He lives out of state. Hes never heard of them before but he loves it now!
While being able to get delivery from just about any restaurant is nice, Dinner Delivered service is juts ok... Maybe even just meh. Delivery regularly takes an hour or longer and about every 4th order is delivered with items missing or cold food. If youre paying between $8-15 for delivery and tip, orders should be consistently right and delivered in a timely manner (or in a heater bag, which my last order was not). Would only recommend if youre desperate or without a vehicle.

I am very disappointed in this service. I ordered $80.00 worth of food and needed to add on more. I contacted this service and added the extra meal. I ordered the original food at 1:08 pm and it is now 3:21 pm and I have not received my added on meal. I will not use this service EVER again!
They are very rude and unprofessional. Normally when you call a customer service driven establishment they are to answer the phone with their name. When l asked whom am I speaking (JUSTIN) was rude it took me asking 3x this happened twice with the same person when I called. You can tell this type of behavior comes from the top.

I have ordered from them before and had orders wrong, or ordered cupcakes for a party and received them in a pile. This takes the taco. I ordered from Cheeburger Cheeburger, and received my onion rings greasy beyond greasy and the food was cold. I called Cheeburger to see what happened and their supervisor (Sarah) explained to me that the dinner delivery guy arrived at the time my food was done, but then waited 15 more minutes for another order to cook while mine was left cold! I realize that Cheeburgers onion rings were part cause, but the condensation from the container made them inedible.
These people are very unprofessional and they are disrespectful. they are late and they give you mouth. I requested a refund and they still took my money.
Very misleading when you go to order and select a “set delivery time”. Our food arrived over an hour late and there was ZERO communication from Dinner Delivered or the driver about the food being late or when it would arrive. Also, as icing on the cake, when the food did arrive, it was ice cold.

It took a little longer than an hour for my delivery from a restaurant 2 miles from my house, I should have gone to pick it up myself because the fries were soggy and I was missing some sauces, the driver was pleasant though

We waited over 2 hours for a kids meal that was left out of the original order. The drivers should check the orders before they leave the restaurant!! The driver apologizes for taking so long and blamed it on the fact that he had to wait at old Chicago for 40 minutes.. Our food didn’t even come from there!
CROOKS !!!!!! Thee worst ever delivery service, first they do not make you aware that food is higher then it actualllyy is priced at . Secondly,when you inquire about a refund you are asked to email support, ending results being that they dont respond back.Lacks Intergrity and unethical mannerisms.

My wife ordered our dinner tonight through this service. The guy brought us about 2/3 of our food, we had to wait over thirty minutes for him to make a second trip, and we still didnt get everything we ordered. Never again.
If you are going to continuously be 30 min late with my food I deserve a discount or at least a phone call. With a 14.99$ delivery fee my food should arrive ontime.
