The service was mediocre. You can tell they dont have your best interest. Not very thorough, and just seemed like they didnt take everything in to account when offering/pushing services. Just trying to squeeze as much as they can out of ya. Poor service if you ask me. Ill definitely not steer away from our guy in Carver again. If youre looking for honest, trustworthy and excellence then I would go to Carver Automotive. The only reason I had to go elsewhere where is because we were going on a vacation and I had procrastinated on getting my oil changed before we left.

Stopped for an oil change left without a front tire. I was stuck sitting there for an hour, got charged in full for oil, and they couldn’t fix my tire. Disgraceful

I was overdue for my oil change and needed to just get it done so I went into this location. The staff I experienced wasnt the most professional bunch, but I was hoping they were good at their job. The two that I spoke to were friendly and I am thankful for that. However, the young man that was in my hood was not really paying attention more focused on a conversation with his co-worker. When it was all done, I drove off and went to run some errands. Not even an hour later I noticed my check engine light was on, I called them and they told me I would have to go in to let them check it out. I went to a different store because I wasnt comfortable taking it back to the same store. The manager that took a look at it only scanned it. Never looked under the hood or anything. Then tells me its a hard pill to shallow that this is probably just a coincidence. He turned the light off and then ten ish hours after he did it came back in. I am utterly shocked at the lack of empathy and helpfulness customer service has been. They refuse to take ownership of their wrong-doing. I understand that people make mistakes but if you are going to be rude and say that there is no way yall did anything without even looking at it. Thats when I have a problem.

Not super friendly. I had an oil change and needed a tire rotation. I was told their lift work not accommodate my Tahoe. I have a new standard Tahoe, which is not that heavy. They made some excuse about the lift “acting up”. My consensus is they didn’t want to do the work.

I asked approximately how many miles I can go with a full synthetic oil and I was told I need to check my owners manual. I said I lost it because its a 10 year old car and I just want to know the difference because the price difference is HUGE! I was told they wont tell me???? what I crock I called 2 different places and they expressed the correct answer, but just said only your owners manual can tell the what the manufacturer says, but at least the other places gave a rough amount and why and explained the difference. please train your staff!!!! jiffy lube got my business this time because of nobody knowing a thing!

Good people n quick service

This place is a rip off. $97 for an oil change! Compared to other Valvoline stations, this one charges $20 more and they give you a smaller coupon amount. Not worth it. When asked for an explanation on my bill, they couldnt give me one. Definitely will not be returning.

Went there last week and could not be more dissatisfied. The guys who did our oil change couldnt even do a half decent job. Checked the fluids in our car and found that the brake fluid does not have the cap on it. Dont know why they needed to check that anyway but the cap was just laying there and not put on properly. Pedro, was one of the guys and was trying to act like a friend and asked us all sorts of personal questions for no reason. Never going back to this place. Telling friends and family about this. Wish we could give this place 0 stars.

This place has the staff to take care of you and your vehicle, we currently take four cars here, Ive had my oil changed here along with a fuel injection treatment that has done wonders for two if our cars. The prices are fair and the staff is very friendly and have knowledge of the services that they are providing to you. We have been to alot of quick lubes but this place is more then that I highly recommend this place.

*Disclaimer: I have worked for Valvoline in the past.*The bottom side tech drained my transmission fluid and took off the transmission filter. It now has a whining noise to it. The professionalism was gone and nothing was explained to me. As a past employee, the procedure was not followed and the amount of issues was very concerning. My car was started without an air filter in, oil light was not rest and they didnt asked what i wanted for tire pressure. They just set them to 35 which is incorrect for my car. My invoice was not gone over and I was told that because I ran conventional that it gave me an oil leak. Which is also very wrong. I dont know where the training had gone wrong but it needs to be fixed. I would like to talk to an operations manager more specifically about this. I truly fear what that each and every car that goes in there is at danger of some sort of damage. The whole point of Valvoline is that you get the same quality of service no matter where you go and I did not get that here.

I used to enjoy coming to this location but the last two visits have been a joke. I will no longer be visiting this location. I visited on 4-23-19 for an oil change. I was told my front two tires were in need of being replaced. The worker was trying to tell me to go though his buddy for new tires. I go through a specific business for new tires and am not interested in helping you and your buddy out. I was aware of only one tire needing to be replaced not two. In June the tire I knew needed to be replaced got a hole in in. I had roadside assistance come from Bobby & Steves to put on my spare. I asked about the other front tire needing to be replaced as well and he told me it was no where near needing to be replaced. I took my car to my normal tire place and inquired about getting two new tires and again was told I only needed one. Thanks Valvoline employee for trying to get my to buy two tires from your buddy. Fast forward to 7-23-19. I came in for an oil change. The guy working was lifting up my windshield wipers and looking at them and said I was in need of new windshield wipers and said I should buy them today, WRONG AGAIN. I told him thats impossible as I just bought brand new wipers on 6-23-19....literally one month prior. He said ok and walked away. I dont know if it is because I am a woman and you think I do not know anything but you will not play me to earn extra money for yourself!

Way overfilled the oil level. Skipped other included services. $60 for semi synthetic. Air filters were $25.

Quick service. Polite workers. For me there was no wait. But, the car behind me had to wait 15 minutes...and thats just what I wouldve had to do if I showed up few minutes behind when I did. All done professionally. They check all fluids and tire pressure. Interestingly, the very next day my car indicated low pressure in the rear left tire, which is strange because all was well before my visit to Valvoline. However, it was also -30 Fahrenheit on the day lower pressure was indicated...so, Im assuming it had more to do with outside temperature than a misread by Valvoline mechanic. Good job overall. I will return.

So I pull in and say, Id like full synthetic please Rory rolls his eyes and says you mean an oil change? Yes, full synthetic please. Thinking wow ok, this an oil change place. Acts like he really doesnt want to be there and is not customer service friendly. Secondly, started my 1 year old vehicle the next day and it chugged and had a hard time idling. Its never done that and I dont know what they did to my Jeep but I wont be going there ever again. Do not recommend

I have gone to this location for about a year. I have generally had a good experience in the past. Today, however, I had a pretty terrible experience. During the course of changing my oil the dipstick broke. As this is an older car, I did not blame them at all, however, when my oil change was complete, they put the broken dipstick back on which cause a plastic portion to become lodged in the dipstick tube. When I called the location to inform them of the issue. They basically told me that there was nothing they could do, and that they were not to blame. Based on bad customer service I do not recommend this location at all.

Their pricing is thru the roof. I got my oil changed in a different truck earlier in the day for $47 at a dodge dealer. The same oil change with less oil was over $100. Total joke

13 minute oil change. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Fairly high price, but I feel it was worth it for the speed (plus no appointment necessary) and quality of the service. Very satisfied. Thats why I keep going back, even though its a bit more spendy than most other places.

Although their prices can be on the higher end, the staff at this location was very friendly and they took an interest in my personal life. One of the techs even spilled some oil, but instead of just cleaning it up quick and saying nothing, he immediately apologized and offered a little discount. Keep up the great work everyone!

I was in desperate need of an oil change, and the guys here were awesome!! I didnt even know that my air filter needed changing, they asked if I wanted to change it out, and I said absolutely!! I would hugely recommend this spot to anyone who wants an oil change

Expensive and service was ok. They lost my tire pressure Cap which turned on my tire pressure low light. I mentioned about it to them, they told me to drive and its fine. I later found that they missed that cap which turned on the light.

The guys here are great. They explain things well and have a great sense of humor. Service was fast and well done.

I went in for a simple oil change, and though Valvoline has a bit higher prices than other options in the area, they have great and fast service. They do try to sell you other products while you are there, but they are not aggressive about it. I know next to nothing about cars, and they did not scoff at me when I asked questions. They were very friendly and encouraged me to come back and get my oil topped off as much as necessary (which is free). Overall very good experience.

They didnt have the right kind of oil I needed, so they had to use a more expensive oil. Not happy about that. But they were quick and social.

Very strange experience, the worker pedro kept asking me and fiance very very personal questions ????!! He then tried to tell me my air filter is dirty and I should buy a new one when mine is only one month old ???? We are never going back to this valvoline and the pedro is very creepy !

Wow! Got a Groupon for $39.95 for a Synthetic Blend Oil Change, we drove over there and they got us right in. I would go back anytime. Great service, friendly staff, super quick and what a deal!!

Pros: Super fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. Cons: Very expensive. They wanted to charge me $40 for an air filter. I pointed across the street to the OReilly Auto Parts store and said I could get it for $10 there. They went ahead and put it in for $15. Reasonable people. Dont be afraid to ask for a discount.

Horrible experience twice in a row. I’m done giving this place chances. The staff this time around was unfriendly and unknowledgeable, one of them didn’t even know how to change my air filter, after watching him fight with it for 5 minutes he finally called for help, I change my air filter regularly, so there was no reason for him to have troubles with it. There was coolant sprayed all over the engine and serpentine belt, and after I left there was a loud ticking noise. No way I was going back there, so I diagnosed and fixed it myself. The coolant all over the belt made it shift a little so I fixed that and the ticking went away. Not happy with this place, I will never return again.

Fast and painless

Biggest group of retards out there. Got home and went to my truck an hour later and there was a massive pile of oil underneath it, on my brand new cement driveway mind you. Climbed underneath my truck and here those dumbasses barely hand tightened my drain plug at best. The sad part is this is the second time this has happened to me from them.🤮 do I need say more. Also they told me they were going to send someone out to clean the stain on my driveway, of course that never happened.

Came in 1 hour prior to close trevor told me they cant top off drivlines unless they have been serviced through valvoline. I did inform trevor I would pay for whatever fluid is added. Little do they know I used to manage a valvoline and I dont appreciate being lied to because there to lazy to check a driveline. Oscar then checked my oil and held the dipstick upside down till the oil ran up to the full mark then lied to me about It being full it really shows the work ethic and how much these guys dont care about anything but getting home. Later in the service manager rudely addressed me saying he was not wasting product on my vehicle (assuming I wanted free fluid which I never said) he then said he will check and top off the driveline after I stated i will pay for the fluid used he was then respectful and finished the service as asked. This may have been the case of a lazy tech(trevor) not telling the whole story to get out of the service. I respect the management for protecting the product from freeloaders and I hope he can correct his guys behavior I bumped my review to a 3 star instead of a 1 star due to Rudys service.

Employee tried to guess my pin when I put my credit card in the machine. Claimed he was really good at it, started asking me personal questions as he did. Experts you can trust?

I have usually had good service here, but totally unhappy today. I was waiting for the next available stall and parked so I could go right or left since on a previous visit they had me back up to take someone who had been waiting before me. Well of course some lady got to my right and they took her first, even though I had already been there for 10 minutes. Not ok! Needless to say I was ticked! What should have been a 20 minute wait turned into an hour. And the woman in charge only said sorry, do you have a coupon? The only time I have for this is on weekends, and that time is precious. My daughters go here too, but after telling them how I was treated, we have all decided to go elsewhere from now on.

I have been going here for years, and it is seriously hit-and-miss. Often poorly motivated employees with POOR knowledge. Frequently have to just give up and come back later because slow slow slow.

I stopped last Saturday for an oil change. I noticed they were busy once I pulled up. The two stalls were occupied and I was the third vehicle waiting in line. A gentleman came out and told me it would be at least 45mins still. I had my son with who was getting antsy already. I asked the gentleman if he could just check my oil for me and let me know if I would make it without getting an oil change today. He went above and beyond and out of his way for me. I came back a week later for that oil change and they were polite, professional, and had great skills again. I recommend going here and give Chaska Vavoline 5 starts. Great work guys!

Employees are friendly but it seems like they were more concerned with going home then getting my oil change a faulty filter gasket sprayed oil over my engine they did try and clean it up and I did try to get a new air filter but they were out.
