We used Excel Builders to remodel our master bath. An office, master closet, and small master bath were converted to a large master bath and closet. Excel has a great team that is easy to work with and produces high quality work. Their designer translated our vision into a great design that we remain thrilled with to this day. Like all remodels, we ran into some issues. Trent and his team resolved every issue professionally. There was no need for discussion, every issue that arose was addressed and fixed. We are thrilled with our new master suite and cant imagine living here without it. Would we use Excel again? In fact, we did. New tile floor in a full bath and a new tile floor, custom cabinets, and granite countertops in the laundry room.

We are extremely happy with the results Trent, Christine and the Excel team performed on our challenging basement remodel. Weve recommended to family and friends, and will continue to do so.

We had our upstairs full bath completely gutted and remodeled this spring. Our project was finished ten days ahead of schedule and we are thrilled with the results. Our new bathroom is exactly what we wanted - brighter, more functional with more storage. The Excel workers and contractors were friendly, professional and thoroughly cleaned up the work area every day. From start to finish we felt like everyone at Excel listened to our feedback and responded quickly. Jamie in particular was a rock star at keeping us informed and keeping things on track. He handled the few minor bumps we had with professionalism and integrity.The bonus was the dumpster which was the classiest one on our block - the overall look and the subtle tarp were very nice touches!We would definitely recommend Excel!

I hired this group to do a bathroom remodel. Towards the end of the project my $10,0000 road bike was stolen out of my garage. This was obviously an inside job. Of course I was upset by this, but what made it worse was Trents lack of communication and there was not even an apology. Also they broke my toilet and gave me the runaround on why it continued to run after the remodel was complete. Overall it was a horrible experience. I do not recommend this company.

Excel Builders did a very large remodel for us. Upper level and basement complete remodel in late 2010. Excellent experience and we remain impressed with the quality of work. Will definitely use them in the future.

We were thoroughly pleased with Trent and Excel Builders! We did a kitchen/dining/family room remodel for 3 months this past winter. From our first interaction, Trent was very transparent about the process, and had fantastic ideas about how to redo our space. He listened to our ideas, and with his designer we were able to create the perfect kitchen. He helped us work within our budget, and laid out different pricing/benefit options for all the decisions we needed to make. Despite us adding additional requests throughout the project, his team was able to complete everything within the same time frame. Very professional, great communication and we enjoyed getting to know the whole team. We will be using them again within in the next month to add a deck, and look forward to having them return in a few years to do our master bath. I highly recommend them!

Trent and his team did a complete remodel of our kitchen. What impressed me initially was Trents proposal. He had the project outlined week-by-week so we knew what to expect and had an idea when the job would be completed. Not only was the job done on time, it was done with high quality. Excel Builders just completed a kitchen and family room remodel in our home. We are extremely pleased with the work that they performed. The quality was better than we expected.Before we began the project, we interviewed several contractors to discuss the project. Most of them asked how much money we wanted to spend and what kind of work we wanted done, only to come back with a project list exceeding what we asked for and a price that went far over our budget. Excel Builders never asked what our budget was; they only asked what work we wanted done. They came back with a proposal that matched what we wanted to the letter, at a price that was within our budget.The designer that Excel Builders had work with us was fabulous. She spent time looking at our home and getting to know what style my wife and I liked, and helped put together a plan that we are extremely pleased with. She spent a great deal of time with us looking through various samples, and made that process much easier than it would have been without her.What really impressed us the most was the communication we had with Trent and everyone working with him once the project began. We received daily updates from Trent or one of the project managers so that we knew exactly what work was going to be done on what day. Whenever we had a question or problem, they responded very quickly via phone and email. They even arranged their project schedule to do the really messy work while we were on vacation.Basically, it seems like its easy to find a contractor to provide you with quality work. Excel Builders backed up the quality work with excellent customer service.

We worked with Excel Builders to complete a major remodel. This included kitchen expansion and complete remodel, remodel master bath, new windows, new trim, new wood floors on main level, new interior doors main level, new stone fireplace surround, paint interior doors on second floor, new stair parts and railings, reface vanity in a second bath, reface linen closet, new knockdown ceilings on main level, and painting entire main level.When we first met Trent from Excel Builders, we were immediately impressed with his professionalism, integrity, and commitment to customer satisfaction and quality. We thought the prices he quoted were fair; not the cheapest, but not the most expensive. We began work in late March 2013 and the original project plus many add-ons were completed by mid-June, with 100% completion by August 1. Trent kept us informed throughout the project about what was going to be happening and how long each step would take. Trent was very easy to get a hold of via phone, text or email, even on weekends if needed. When issues arose, Trent was ready with multiple solutions. We found the subcontractors Trent worked with were also professional and committed to quality work. All changes to the original project were priced out so we could decide if we wanted to move forward or not. As a result, there were no surprises at the end of the project in regards to budget. At one point, Trent even offered to watch our cats while we were on vacation during the project. Trent really cares about his customer’s satisfaction that much! In fact, it was apparent throughout the project, that our satisfaction was more important than his bottom line. We would highly recommend Excel Builders. It was a pleasure working with Trent and his crew at Excel Builders.

We contracted Excel Builders to complete a kitchen remodel. Trent and his team were committed to frequent communication, quality work and timely completion. There were a few glitches that came up during our remodel. Glitches are common but the way Trent and his team handled them was not. They addressed them quickly, honestly and came up with what we felt was a more than fair resolution. Our remodel included kitchen, bathroom and mudroom cabinets, sanding and refinishing our existing oak floor, installing a tile backsplash and granite countertops, adding new lighting and painting the kitchen and dining room. Excel is a value remodeler. They are not the cheapest but provide a fair price for a quality product and a superior experience. Our project was completed significantly ahead of the schedule – this was much appreciated due to the havoc a kitchen remodel creates. We are very satisfied with the work done by Excel and would definitely use them again.
