Great Staff and had my UHaul ready for me for a large move. They went out of their way to make me happy and explained any questions I had.

We are having a great experience at the Chaska Acorn Mini Storage facility. The facility is very well maintained, our storage unit was clean and there are plenty of pallets (at convenient locations). But what sets this facility apart is the management staff - just outstanding. That began with my initial phone call and carried through renting a U-Haul (I wish car rentals were that easy) and moving into the unit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

I had a great experience working with this facility last minute. I needed to move a fridge from my garage to my basement and called them to grab a dolly with straps. The manager (Sam) was easy to work with and told me to stop in. Quick and easy process. The fridge is now in the basement. What a great storage facility. The manager Sam and assistant Larry are both a delight to work with and were super helpful with my boat storage situation. If you are looking for an honest and helpful place to use for storage locally, this is the place. Lots of drive up outdoor access storage and they have boat and RV storage space as well. Never had a better experience in dealing with a storage facility!

I recently rented a U-Haul for moving from Acorn, rented two movers for two hours off the website, and rented short term storage while we are in between Selling our home and buying another. I chose the temperature controlled option which is well lit and very clean. Easy access on street level. They helped us with time sensitive moving needs and were wonderful. I also purchased moving boxes. One stop shopping made our transition easy. Thank you guys!

I had a big move from Madison Wi that ran late (my fault) but the folks at Acorn helped me out with getting my truck returned without a bunch of extra fees. The truck was only 20-30 minutes late but uhaul automatically charges you a full day of extra rental. My wife talked with the guy originally but when I stopped in he knew exactly what the situation was and was super friendly and helpful. In a time when customer service comes second, Acorn made it their priority and I will definitely be going back for any uhaul needs.I did not rent a storage unit from them but if I needed one, it would be the place to go as well. It felt super secure and was clean and well taken care of.

I have been renting space for my business at acorn for about two years and have found them to be very professional on how they handle the every day business. They rent a lot of u haul trucks that seems to take a lot of time but still seem to have time for me if I need anything. the other day one of my work trucks wouldn’t start and with in 10 minutes the management at acorn had cables and there personal vehicle to get me started and on my way. Thanks for all the help from the acorn staff. I had done some business with there location in shakopee in 41 and 169 but just wasn’t as good so went back to chaska location.Thanks chaska Acorn

I wanted to switch from a 5 x 10 to a 10 x 10 locker last weekend. Showed up without calling and found Larry there. Larry wasnt the manager but he knew EVERYTHING that needed to be done on the computer, taking my money, and even walked me down to check out the new locker.The manager, Sam, came in part way through doing my paperwork and he and I just sat and talked college football (Go huskers!). He obviously had the same confidence in Larry that I did!Great guys! Great facility!

Have used a few storage joints over the years and I will have to say this one is probably the best. How can one storage place be much better than another you ask?Well, for starters, its the employees that you have to deal with. Do they hate their job, therefore making everyone and everything around them negative and difficult? Or are they like Sam who actually takes pride in his work and genuinely wants to help and make sure we the customers are happy, even staying after work for over a half hour because I was running late. Its just hard to find good customer service like that anymore and it was much appreciated.In addition to the employees being top notch the place is clean, updated, good security system and cameras and a secure gate that you have a personal code to get in and out of. So they know everyone who goes in or out of their facility. They have many options for sizes and have all the supplies you would ever need.Other than that, what else is there? I definitely recommend to anyone who needs storage long term or even just a few months. Oh and to the lady complaining about her couch getting water damage. Most of these units are outdoor storage units, you dont want to leave things like mattresses or couches laying directly on the floor. Dust, spiderwebs and occasional moisture is going to get into your unit. Why do you think pallets, mattress protectors and dust covers were invented?

Chaska Acorn Mini Storage is super clean with 24 hour access, fenced and well lit. Security cameras and temp control give me peace of mind that my stuff is safe. The manager and team are friendly and helpful! Lots of extras! Outstanding! They also are a drop off site for Diaper Bank of Minnesota!

I paid for storage of my boat trailer in the summer and when I went to pick up my trailer for a trip to Canada I discovered all 4 of my wheels were stolen. When I reported the incident Acorn storage told me they were not responsible (typical response). I paid for secured storage and my property was stolen!

I cannot state enough that this place is awesome. My grandmother passed away, and my mother is also in the hospital, so I had to rent a truck to travel from Chanhassen, to Forest Lake, to South Minneapolis, to Bloomington. It was an adventure for sure. However, the guy that I worked with, Sam W, was absolutely wonderful. This was probably my best experience as a customer with any location. Thanks to Sam and Acorn for helping me so greatly, with such an important day. 100% recommend.

Way too expensive and they wont work with you if your late on payments. .very quick to overlooking and its like they cant wait to go to auction. Also one of my couches was ruined due to rain leaking in and they wouldnt cover the damages. I would NEVER recommend this place!
