Very helpful. I needed to mail a flat screen TV. They helped pack it. Very pleasant people and a friendly older dog. The prices are good for their labor. The shipping charges are set by FedEx and UPS.

I purchased 4 items from Hilliard Auction house, and used Blue Ridge Pack & Ship to ship them. They only sent me 3 of the items, and then said that the item was lost due to the large volume of shipments they had to send out. It took forever to get in touch with anyone at this company, and even longer for them to try to locate this is- atleast that is what they said they were doing. Finally Mike said that this was not locatable, but that they would refund me. But they only refunded me partially and then would not communicate any more.Their shipping estimates are also atleast twice the shipping estimates that you can get from the other shipping companies that Hilliard Auction house works with, including UPS pack & ship. I am ok paying more to ship expensive and fragile items, but if they are going to lose them and not communicate, then paying this extra premium is pointless.I have since worked with the UPS pack & ship in the area, who have done a much better job.

I had a large package that I took to the local UPS store. The clerk took a while then said she didnt think she could ship it because it was too big. The manager then measured it and said the same thing. Mind you it was probably 16x24, so not too big. They suggested Blue Ridge Pack and Ship.The gentleman who helped me was super knowledgeable and eager to help. He didnt hesitate to give me a cost and even boxed it up and packed it. I cant say enough about the service and the professionalism shown. They were even helping a woman figure out how to pack and ship a huge piece of live edge wood! Save yourself the trouble of going to UPS and just head straight here. I know I will drive the extra miles just to give them my business

Need something shipped? This establishment does it best. Theres no package too big or too small for them to handle. You can come in with a prepackaged item or have them package it for you. Mike is friendly, as is Will. Service is tremendous. There mascot is Abbot, a small dog who is very friendly and cute.

Mike and his staff are the best! They really care about their customers, which is hard to find these days. They took care of all my needs from start to finish with great care and attention to detail. Im very pleased with my experience with Blue Ridge Pack & Ship. I called them to arrange for pickup, packaging and shipping to me a paid for artwork framed with glass, from an auctioneer nearby.Communication was excellent. I provided William the lot number and auction info. He looked up the item info and dimensions on the web and gave me an estimated shipping cost range. A few days later after the holidays, I spoke with Mike. He gave me the actual shipping cost, which came out well.They picked up the artwork, taped across the glass, packaged it very well with cardboard and bubble-wrap, and foam around, and shipped to me with FedEx with no incidence.

I am going to try these folk again, but I have used them twice and they have been great! I shipped things out to India, they packed for me, it arrived in one piece and they organized my boxes to cost as little as they could. Not easy I was using Fed EX. They were very helpful. They are still absolutely fabulous. Use them!

I have been here twice, once to ship a gift and another time to ship a return. Both times the people there were extremely helpful! When I needed to ship my package they took time to make sure I knew the different options and prices, and put on my return label at my next visit so that I could take care of my cranky baby. I highly recommend them and will use them anytime I need to ship something in Charlottesville!

Mike is beyond helpful. He not only packed up our sensitive equipment with customized packing material, he took care of the entire shipping process for us. I cant recommend them highly enough.

Owner got hot really quick when confronted about not repackaging said shipment when he was asked too prior to shipping. Also failed to honor insurance claim after item was destroyed in shipping. Use at your own risk.

What a great find - I am in the process of shipping out computer components, and after calling/visiting every Fedex and Uhaul in the area, this was the first place I found that actually had the shipping containers I needed. Plus the owner was super friendly and helpful in getting me exactly the kind of insulation I needed for my computer parts.I dont ship things often, but when I do, I now use Blue Ridge.

Not trustable rip off service. Way over priced and shady characters. Avoid at all cost. Bad customer service never answer calls either.Update: They charged extra for packing materials and guess what no packing materials and fragile items arrived all broken cost me $100s of dollars. They used crappy chinese boxes that fell apart in the mail and no fragile stickers or marks on the outside of box. This was a real big joke experience. So if you want to be treated like crap you know were to go!
