Hired them for move out cleaning. Gave very specific instructions, including a check list of things required by the landlord and they did a very mediocre job, even though we gave them all the money that they requested. Several things off the checklist as well as specific things requested and confirmed verbally were not cleaned. The landlord told us we got ripped off and when I have tried to get into contact with them afterwards to talk about a potential price adjustment, I have received no responses. As far as deep cleaning and move out services go, this place is not it.

Always nice to come home to a clean house. I use Merry Maid once a month for some extra cleaning than I normally do and Im always happy with the kitchen and the floors especially.

Merry Maids does a great job with your housework! They are trustworthy, thorough, and will manage big jobs like move-outs, commercial jobs, and more. They are pet friendly. The staff are hard working, personable, and pleasant!

After multiple weeks of poor cleaning where I had to remind cleaners every week of little things (that should be in their repertoire) and where they would miss whole rooms. I should have stopped the cleaners from coming sooner, but I am big into giving people a chance to correct their mistakes. Finally, I spoke to the manager, Melissa, to see if I could remedy the problem. She told me that she could tell the cleaners to clean better. I told her that I didnt think that would actually solve the issue since they cleaned nicely where they cleaned, it was just forgetting to clean things. She asked me how I thought she should handle it. I suggested she send the same people out every week. She said this wasnt possible. I then suggested she offer me a discount or a free cleaning. She said that wasnt possible either. I thought a cleaning service would have a better costumer service policy. I would not recommend them.

We have enjoyed and continue to enjoy our cleaning crew from Merry Maids for several years. They take pride in their work and the results show such. When we have needed to reschedule an appointment they work with us to make the change in a seamless and pleasant manner. I schedule once monthly times for a year at a time. We can highly recommend our crew from Merry Maids.

I was highly disappointed with the job done for the money I paid. I paid $180 for a one bedroom/one bath apartment and they were there for less than 45 minutes. They didn’t move any furniture and I spent twenty minutes cleaning after them. I hired them to get rid of the dust and hair before I had friends in from out of town and there was dust and hair everywhere when they left.

I have never had such a Wow experience. When I first bought my house in 2015, I was told that a professional cleaning service had deemed the bright red nail-polish-looking spills in my bathtub (???) un-removable. I myself tried nail polish remover and bleach with no success. This week I hired Merry Maids for the first time to do an overall cleaning and was completely floored to come home to not only an immaculate home, but also a completely intact bathtub, free from marks. I could not be more satisfied with the service and would recommend them without reservation.

Disappointing. I was charged for a thorough first time cleaning, and it was anything but thorough. I had to ask them to come back to fix some undone tasks, and the second visit wasnt any better than the first, the items were STILL not done.

The people they send over to make our shop sparkle are thorough and always have a smile on their face !

I left two messages over a three week period for Cville Merry Maids to please return my call to schedule a full detailed cleaning of my home. Its been over a month now and still no replies from anyone at Merry Maids.

Would not recommend. You are better off hiring someone for a full day and pay them hourly and you would get a better clean and build a better relationship. After the $300 up front thorough cleaning I had to re-clean pretty much everything because they used toxic oven cleaner everywhere! The thorough cleaning only took them about 2 hours . I had to call to have them come back. They did a poor job the second time and I had to call again to get a different group to come back out. The replacements were better, but the cleaning service did not meet the quality I expect for the price they set. They dont move anything and I generally had to go behind them after they cleaned to get the spots they missed. I shouldnt have to do that when I hire a cleaning service.

Horrible customer service. Unprofessional, unfriendly, snooty all together. My goodness, why doesnt she/Melissa just say, Im not willing to be kind at all? right from the start. I wouldnt even waste one minute and would hung up at Hello!!!!Obviously the company has no intention on growing. BAD taste in my mouth.
