Terrible! Some staff is cool! Too many is straight a---holes and do not respect a working man who works daily just new here and beefing with the wife. They need to get a life!!!

I encourage anyone to keep themselves very routinely cleaned and sanitized. Statesville Ave has an inside mold feastion that really keeps you sick with bronchitis 😷 an terribleness of cough. Takes awhile to get a bed, have to get picked from what they call a lottery. I personally say South tryon one is totally better.

Since the main facility on N.Tryon st has been undergoing a massive renovation, that began in early April, the facility on Statesville Ave is temporarily serving as the central hub. The same facilities and services are still being made available for the residents and new guests. This transitional period has been a time of adjustment for everyone, both staff and residents alike. Much appreciation for all of the senior staff that made all of this possible. In particular a shout out to Joy, the resident manager. Honesty you get treated like a herd of cattles staff may give the impression that they genuinely care about the residents but they really dontIm grateful for what they provide which is just a bed from the evening till the morning but theres Heavy mold exposer & tons of germs floating around due to sick residents having who knows what & not covering their mouths when coughing and sneezing. The living areas are terrible & residents leave there feces on bathrooms floors & walls i just serious dont understand. I would totally recommend the campus on Tyron its a tab bit more tolerantable. Charlotte is a pretty successful city but i guess not much can be done for the homeless

The Statesville Ave Mens shelter is for those trying to get back pn their feet and get into the N. Tryon location.

If it were not for the shelters, people that really need them would be in a lot of hurt, take it from some one who works in a Shelter and who has lived in a Shelter at one time in my life.

Will they give you a bed the same day? And how long can you be in the shelter ?
