I gave two stars, one because its near my house and the other for the selection.Whats left off is service. As a small business owner, I cant imagine not even looking up when a customer comes in. They do not care one bit if you are greeted or finding what you need, or anything. Theyre not rude but they are cold as ice.The one with the long gray hair is the worst offender. When she speaks. its so clear you are bothering her.I only go when I absolutely have to!

Very expensive & horrible customer service. Avoid this store like the plague!!!! Go to Sew Much Fun instead.

I had a mishap with my bobbin case and ended up ruining its alignment in my machine. Thankfully the kind people at this store were willing to screw it all back in place, free of charge. Only took them 5 minutes to put everything back in its place and send me on my way with a functioning machine! So appreciative for the quick and friendly service!

I brought my 20 year old Brother sewing machine purchased before moving to this area to be serviced. It was skipping stitches. Barry looked up the part that needed to be replaced, found that it was not longer made by the company, found a new part from another store and repaired my machine. He also helped me with 2 other machines--very helpful. Its good to actually see and talk to the helpful person who does the repair. 5 stars indeed!!

I have a combo embroidery/sewing machine that I am slowly figuring out how to use. I stopped in to get some thread and spoke with Berry. He was incredibly helpful, kind and patient with my questions. He explained quite a few things to me including the differences between threads.The thread I purchased is sooo much better than the junk I got at a local chain store. It doesnt jam or fray and my work looks much nicer!The woman who was at the register was sweet and friendly. We had a great conversation. :-)I was amazed at the amount of accessories and supplies they have for sale! I have found my new store for all things sewing/embroidering.

I had the most wonderful buying experience after visiting and being disappointed by multiple (other) sewing shops. Karen was knowledgeable and patience while I learned about the available machines and we worked together to figure what fit my needs and budget. Neither her nor the owner were once pushy or standoff-ish. I am very pleased with my purchase and they will certainly be my 1st visit for any future sewing needs.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!! I am so pleased that I stopped in today. I wanted to look at a couple of embroidery machines that I had researched online. They were so helpful. They gave more information than I expected, were patient with answering my questions, they explained the promotions on the machines, the additional bonus options offered by their shop specifically, and added a couple of items they knew I needed to get started. I was able to come home, open my new toy, and have everything I needed for my test run. They also offer FREE classes for the machines they sell as well as project classes for a fee. I will certainly continue shopping here.

My husband and I visited the store yesterday, and I was pretty shocked on how we were initially treated (it wasnt southern hospitality) basically we were ignored by an older lady. Lindsey quickly came toassist with his knowledge and expertise.

The staff is great! They helped me pick out the right machine for me and they provided quick service. I bought a used machine and after the service and cleaning, it looked brand new. It was ready when they said it would be. Very friendly and helpful. Ill be back for all my machine needs.

Just picked up my Bernina from being serviced. Service was done well and returned fast! The store also had stuff I need to do my sewing projects and helpful staff to assist!

This is a great place to buy and a wealth of information. They are all very helpful and knowledgeable.

Central whole house vacuum cleaner systems. Have bought and recommended to many clients for their homes. Located beside Target at Rea Rd near the CHIC-FIL-A. Finished service on my machine ahead of schedule!

Berry and his staff were fabulous testing & repairing my central vacuum hose attachment and also looking at my power head for rugs and flooring. Although the power head couldnt be repaired, Berry showed me an option that fitted my existing nozzle. Their price was no higher than purchasing it on my own. The Sebo model is so easy to use, quiet and comes with a strong warranty. We were pleased with the time and attention given as well as the quality of products available. There was also a small sewing tool that I had been searching for in the greater Charlotte area for some time and was thrilled Lees had it for a few dollars. Pleased & definitely will return.

The staff at Lee’s are wonderful! So knowledgeable, courteous and kind. Great selection of sewing and embroidery machines, accessories, thread and fabric. They have classes for quilting, sewing and embroidery that are so much fun.

One of my favorite sewing stores where one is treated like family. Great service and there is always someone there willing to assist. I believe in supporting locally owned businesses over the big box stores. This is due to greater personalized service and quality merchandise. Small businesses are the backbone of the American economy. All Americans should seek out and support them as much as possible.

I cannot give this company and these employees enough praise. Any time i have gone into the store for help, they have always been eager to help and serve me. I have bought two sewing machines from there and the classes and the help that they offer is beyond compare. Jessica has been a godsend to me. I love them all and appreciate all that they have done for me - if i could give 10 stars i would.

Purchased Miele vacuum(4- only the oldest cleaner wore out - 2: one up and one down at home and one in vacation) over the past 26 years. Miele diamond dishwasher, washer and dryer. Always get supplies and vacuum tuneups from them too. Only had one snafu with the dishwasher kit ordered and never received. Other than that i always recommend Miele. My daughter purchased vacuum and brand new under counter set and my son purchased vacuum.

I have been going to Lee’s Creative Sewing for quite a long time. Their classes are great and Berry is very knowledgeable about all the different sewing machines.

Went in to this store for the first time just to check what all they sold. They definitely have high quality items and a good selection. Prices are higher, but its to be expected given the area. The customer service is a bit lacking though. I was only acknowledged when I entered after I said hello. While looking around I was never once asked if I needed help or was looking for something. Not a huge deal, but stuff like that makes me think twice before spending my money there.

One of my favorite places! I have shopped here since 2006 and have purchased sewing machines, a serger, vacuum cleaner, fabrics and supplies. I have also attended several of their classes. I have always been extremely pleased with the detailed information regarding their products. The Bernina Mastery Classes are very helpful when I am learning about new machine! The entire staff has always been kind and so very helpful when I have any questions or whenever I attend classes or just stop in to browse. Great people and Great place to shop for vacuums, sewing machines and sewing supplies!

Dont buy here! I asked about trading in a machine here and wanted to know pricing before I wasted 45 mins to drive up and another 45 minutes back. The man gave me a discount without telling me and therefore I couldnt trade it. He didnt tell me any of this over email, just told me I couldnt trade in my basic machine once I got there, which is an expensive nice machine. I had to literally turn around go back home immediately when he could have told me he didnt want my basic machine earlier instead of trying to bait me into his store.

Great class today with Sherry teaching me how to use my new machine. Lots of laughs (from her) and ooohs and aaahhhs from me. Ive had a great experience here!!

I have extensive experience with this store: bought sewing machines, bring my quilts for long-arm quilting, taken sewing classes and quilting classes and found that everyone has been extremely knowledgeable and helpful to either meet my immediate sewing need or point me in the right direction.

I also went in this store trying to get some help w/a sewing machine part. There was an older lady in there cutting fabric and she was very rude to me. Basically I thought, I know I wont ever come in here again. She told me to come back when the owner was in. What????

I was extremely satisfied with my experience at Creative Sewing and Vacuums. The employees were extremely knowledgeable and accomodating. They were kind, curtious, and proffessional. They carry a vast variety of sewing and embroidery equipment and it was clear to me that customer satisfaction was a top priority. I will definitely continue to use them for my sewing and Embroidery needs.

Horrible experience. I was lied to and upon trying to return a product immediately it was refused even though I literally just asked the cashier their return policy and was told as long as it wasnt used I could return. I would not recommend them for any reason.

Their customer service is horrible, especially one woman that has no customer service at all!!! I wish there were other options of stores as I would go there!!!
