Got wonderful service when I purchased my house back in 07.
Professional and caring. Bob Stanley listened to our requirements and found the perfect rental for us. Well be back when were ready to buy.
This was my first time buying a home and I searched for hours reading reviews and decided on Allen Tate because the reviews talked about how the realtors were extremely honest. I was so pleased. Austin knew exactly what we wanted from day one and helped us find a house that had projects but steered us away from houses that would require too much money to fix. Once we found a house, I was trying to juggle everything like mortgage and insurance and Austin kept pushing me to go with Allen Tate. I decided to check out what they had to offer and I got a better deal for insurance and my mortgage with Allen Tate than I did anywhere else! But on top of that, they were able to easily communicate with each other to take the burden off of me. My parents were actually concerned about how smooth everything was going and how hands off I was during the process but it was just that Don, Ari, Austin, Beatrice and the rest of the Allen Tate team made the whole process so easy and everything worked out perfectly for closing on schedule! Since I was a first time homebuyer, I was really nervous but Ari and Beatrice answered all of my frantic calls immediately and guided me through everything with the mortgage! I recommend going with not only their realtors but Tate Mortgage and their insurance broker, too!
Lee Schulte at this Allen Tate Realtors location helped me sell my house in 2018. As someone who had never sold a house before, Lee made the whole process a breeze and a pleasure. Lee is the gold standard of realtors, I cant praise him enough.. If youre looking for a realtor, your search should stop with him.
George Henderson is the best realtor in town. Only if youre looking for someone who is honest and has integrity.
As with many large organizations, there are Allen Tate agents which are great, and some which are not. The reason for my poor review is not that a mistake was made, but how Allen Tate handled it. In our case, an Allen Tate listing agent hired an un-qualified contractor in haste which ended up covering up a serious contamination issue at a residential listing during the contract term. As a result, this issue cost both the buyers and the sellers a significant amount of money, and led to additional problems for the seller. As the Harris Boulevard office (reviewed here) was the home base for the regional manager, my poor review reflects how the situation was handled: Coldly, and with a see no evil attitude. I had hoped for reasonable mediation, as I was represented by an Allen Tate agent for an Allen Tate listing with a different team. That did not happen. My advice is to steer clear of large brokerages such as this, which appear to value volume over quality. Remember, whether you are buying or selling, volume does not mean the best job is being done for the buyer or seller- and its how an agent handles problems or mistakes which define their real value to you.
Poor service.
