This place is terrible - they tried to jack our rent up 40%, essentially forcing us out and now they are charging us a $500 move out fee. Look elsewhere, we are counting the days until our lease ends.We submitted a ticket to the help desk per the direction of the business manager, but have been ignored for 2 weeks. Not really surprised, treating customers like garbage seems to be the standard practice for Regus.
Regus deserves a NO STAR RATING I have attempted to be patient with Regus but I have lost all confidence in them and can’t wait for the day my contract ends. They consistently over charge for amenities not used and even after acknowledging the errors are their fault they still refuse to refund the money. With in the past 5 billing cycles my statement has been wrong every time. At this point I am waiting out my contact to end and would not suggest anyone do business with this company. Please save yourself the grief and rent somewhere else. Due to being ignored and overlooked by corporate, at this point all I can do is hopefully prevent others from enduring the frustration and theft in which I have experienced.
I have been a tenant of the Ballantyne Regus office for over a year and have just extended my contract for 2 offices for another year. The center staff has undergone some changes which sometimes can be a negative; however, the current staff of Kristie, Crystal and Patricia are wonderful. You are always greeted with a smile and they are more than ready to assist with any requests. The office location could not be better, just off I-485, and the covered parking is a major plus.
Buyer beware of the fine print. If you do not terminate 3 months in advance, they will auto renew you for another full year. I found that out the hard way when I tried to terminate 2 months in advance. Entrapment is not a good way to do business.
I had a terriable expierence with Regus. The first 2 weeks there was a technical issue which negatively impacted my business as my call volume significantly decreased during that time... essentially the call went to a fast busy signal. Although I reached out to management several times with concerns that I was not receiving calls, the issue was not resolved in a very timely manor. Once the issue was fixed, clients began making comment that they were not greeted before being forwarded to my direct line or that they thought they had the wrong number because they couldnt understand the greeting from the receptionist. On several occasions I called my number to observe for myself that the line was not being answered and when it was answered the greeting was muffled and inaudible. I feel as though I am a reasonable person and could understand there may have been need for an adjustment period, consequently, I was patient throughout the process, trying to give the girls friendly reminders to please talk into the receiver when answering the phone and trying to figure out why the receptionist wasnt answering the phone for extended periods of time during the day. Nevertheless, the situation did not improve. I contacted the supervisor, who was aware of the situation, to express my concerns about the unsatisfactory answering service, technical issues and overall inability to provide the amenity I thought I was paying. I explained that because the issues were not resolved I would no longer be retaining thier services. I had a personal business line forwarded to Regus and consequently withdrew that line. I utilized Regus for less than a month and during that time the line was not working appropriately for two weeks and the service was embarrassing; overall, the negative impact on my business was inexcusable. Due to the circumstances, I requested to be released from my contract, which was approved and I was told I would not accure further charges from that point on. However, I was charged for the following month. When I inquired about the charge I was told it would be refunded. Not only was it not refunded, I continued to receive invoices for several months. This all happened in September and here it is Febuary. No communication, no refund and a whole lot of clean up on my end. As a buisness owner, Id advise anyone looking for an answering service to seek elsewhere. There are a lot of great alternative options around Charlotte, its just not worth it.
They auto renew the agreement and increase the monthly rate. Would not recommend.
