Son’s been on the waiver waiting list for almost 8 years. He’s turning 21 soon. Was told he’ll be on the waiting list a few more years. It’s the craziest thing for a parent/caretaker to be told. I’m dumbfounded.

This organization is a local and area wide LME for Mental Health Services. They have many aspects to what they do for the people they serve. Unfortunately paying contractors and providers who bill them for services for people with Mental Disabilities is not one of their priorities. This is both disgraceful and unacceptable. It leads to quality and caring people not wanting to work with those with disabilities do to slow payment (could be months) or non payment for accepted billable services. It seems their business model is if we wait long enough and not pay for submitted, qualified billable services we will just keep the money for ourselves.

Been on a waiting list for almost 3 yrs for Services for both my autistic children with no real help here for them services are limited to non at all.. something needs to be done for mental health care on nc.

I was triggered many times, lied to, false promises. These people are corrupted. The CEO saved hundreds of thousands of dollars, and then now they dont give you any help at all. Just some really really terrible therapists. If you are having a hard time in love I would say the mental hospital is your best bet. Otherwise if you have serious mental issues and need help try to leave this state its very bad at all of it.

Its sad what this place does to people. They dont care about people. Every time you call they keep telling you you have to talk to this person. Then that person say I dont know why they transfer you here this the wrong place. They dont know what they are doing. They just care about money. My provider is ok though they try they best to help me, I ust wish they dont have to ask cardinal nothing cause cardinal is the scam from the state to cut service and get monet. I got mental illness not stupid tho
