We took a load with Sebastian Moreno from Armstrong and got held up at our previous receiver. We communicated with them the entire time they told us all was well, and that we had until 18:00 for pick up we arrived before 16:30 for our original 16:00 appointment slot to find there was never a load. The shipper was still there, the load never existed. The shipper let us know that they told the broker long before that they had no load for them. They denied our TONU because we were less than 30 minutes past our original time of 16:00. We dealt directly with Josh Hinckley Logistics Director so its not just a mistake this is their corporate culture. Dont book loads here if you want fair or honest dealings.

I just found out Kelisha du Plessis works at your company and she was an office manager for my landlord and illegally added someone by the name Michael Tejada on my lease last year, then quit. Wouldnt be surprised if shes up to something at this company.

If I can give the negative number for Armstrong service I would! We booked a load with Louis Aguilera. Arrived late for pick up and paid late fee right on spot. When we get paid for this load the broker named above deducted late fee again. I called him a million times and sent numerous emails but still didn’t get money which he pocketed back! So we ended up to pay late fee twice! Also spoke to his boss named West but that didn’t help either! Later included Tiffany Wade into this case but apparently this is not helping us to resolve the issue! Wonder if this company has any policy for carrier relations?It’s the most dishonest and unprofessional company I had to deal with! Stay away from Armstrong!!

Booked a load with Luis Aguillera for next day delivery, agreed with the ETA, advised shipper and him, when we came in next day, we got basically kicked out the plant and told to come back next day. After giving him a whole day to resolve this, Luis didnt even bother to call or email and give any kind of update, reason being, he knew that would happen. He made false claims about the load just to get it covered. Then he goes and says this was receiver error, he will get us compensated. I gave him a whole week to get at least any kind of update. But what does he do? Rejects the calls, doesnt respond to emails, when I call Armstrong, Luis is always in the bathroom, in a meeting, yeah, right. Finally, his manager just confirmes that Luis, basically, lied the whole time. My driver lost a whole day of work which I had to compensate outta my own pocket, all the manager said to that was hmmm, yea.... WOW, just WOW, well done Armstrong, not all brokers there are bad, but these guys, that whole office, worst ever.Please be careful with these guys, they will say anything just to get you to take the load, after that, good luck, cause you gonna need it.

Had some issues with your employee Denis Wilson. I used to take few loads from you and never had any issues, but today i was so upset.I got a rate confirmation and our driver went to pick up destination. Three hours later Denis called me and said that the customer canceled the load. Our driver spent three hours and 120 miles drive. So finally we lost whole day and was not able to get some another load. I am understand that sometimes customers can do that, but to build a good business relationships Denis Wilson had to cover expenses or just say “sorry” . He did nothing to make everybody happy. BEWARE FRAUD LYyING broker !!!I booked load with Gary and he said there 10 hours hour drop trailer for loading. Delivery next day at 9am. For restaurant depot in va. These took for evee to unload me till 430 pm. I lost next load.But gary I said he will pay. Detention for this which I Sent several email. But never got response back. Do then I decided to submit my invoice. And these guy paid me short saying the checked was mailed to me. Not the factoring company.I never received the check in mail.

The load has been booked one day before pick up date and the broker (Cliff Lane and Jake Dismuke) said that it`s already crossed the border and will be shipper by FCFS 10 am to 6 pm as scheduled. Once driver checked in and ask me for PU# broker called and said that load is canceled and will not be shipped today. I ask for TONU to cover 179 miles deadhead from Phoenix, AZ on what he said no I will not pay it to you. Right after that I posted a truck on DAT load board and instantly noticed his posting for the same load (Armstrong Transport Group inc) for the lower rate. This is total disrespect to the ones that doing a physical job to move loads from point A to point B. Please avoid Cliff Lane and his shady operation at all cost. Sooner or later you will pay a price for his poor job.

These guys had a 1200 mile run posted from Florida to Maryland for a single driver. Pick up on Monday, drop Wednesday, call about the load, book it. Send my driver 100mi from Miami to pick up. Agent then changes the delivery date for Tuesday. He asks me if I have a team, of course I tell him no ! He then insists that we run as a strong solo(run illegally) to make sure we make his delivery total POS.We call corporate about the shady illegal practices. They tell us they will review and follow up....Never heard

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCEI’m very disappointed and upset how my Manager and I was treated while working with them I was treated very poorly by one of their employees (Melissa Abraham) I was very professional and calm the whole time and she screamed and disrespected for no reason at all, I had made everything very clear and tried contacting her when I had a problem, my driver was trying his best to deliver when he had an electrical issue with his truck he was charged a late fee of $500 even when I called the previous day to say he wasn’t going to make it in time for the delivery, I had called them and they told me it was fine that they would change the time and call me back. I never got a called back and woke up to the broker (Melissa Abraham) screaming at me for calling the after hours when I had called her but she didn’t answer I am very sadden and disappointed with the experience I had with them

Very poor experience with them i did good job for them on time pickup and on time delivery with no issues with the product and they put fine of 450$ fines and they wasn’t share any thing with me my factoring company inform me about it and I tried to called and emailed the broker but got no single reply from him his name is Jordan 🤷‍♂️

Armstrong Transport Group would handle shipments for us from time to time. Had an issue with one of the carriers hitting a parked trailer at our facility. Reached out to our agent, he states “I have spoken to Brian Mann at corporate and he says there is nothing we can do.” I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company, total lack of integrity. No matter how good an agent is, if the core is bad, it’s all bad as far as I’m concerned, never again!

We’ve dealt with multiple brokers from Armstrong and it’s always been pleasure dealing with them. We consistently get accurate information with their loads. Their customers really stick with the pick-up and delivery times and that is very important in this industry. It’s also a peace of mind that they pay promptly.

I did load for them Which has 5 hour detention 4 at pickup 1 at delivery and they give 2 hours with words (THEY GIVE 2 HOURS )I update every hour to Matthew horn and he want me to wait there to pick up the load on Friday all day And now stop answering the calls and emails.

We at Billy the Kid Trucking have been working with Armstrong Transport Group for three years now. James goes out of his way to make things easier for us, we enjoy working with him. The staff is professional and responsive whenever we have any kind of on the road issues.

We should of known by the confirmation, there is a full page of requirements that have to be met or you will receive rate deductions. Anyway, the dispatchers grabbed the load. We did fail to send pictures of the load. Deducted $650.00 on a $1500.00 load. I would stay away if I was you. Anything to put money back in their pocket.

Deciding to put on do not use this broker, really tired of talking to dispatcher with no experience and never drove a truck a day in there life and expects a flying service and not realizing this is ground and called trucking and have to obey and go by ELD . My suggestion if there owner sees then give proper training to the dispatch team .. too many bad comments or those dispatch team will put you on back seat in this industry.

Brokerage companies can sometimes forget that the truck is just as important to their business as the customer who places an order, Zach Mendiola is a very good broker, and never forgets this.Zach makes me feel a part of Armstrong and never forgets that my business is just as important as a company with more trucks. I can let Zach or James Dolan know where I’m going to be and know they will do their beast to find a load that fits my needs, even if that means passing my truck to the broker who has the load.Armstrong Transportation rates are fair, for the most part, of course we would all like more at times. We all know Brokers take a percentage of the load, its called business, and none of us do this job for free. If there is an issue with a load, I am confident that it will be taken care of by Armstrong and they will be fair with me.One thing I really appreciate, Armstrong does not cut my rate when times are slow, their pay is good and on time. Bad Bad Bad- We are a Shipper we gave our load to Logistics Masters In Florida, Whom then gave the load to a Armstrong Agent who then gave load to Meiborg. Do to so many ppl being involved we lost a $100,000 account. Agents bad mouthed the carrier claimed it was all their fault only to find out none of the info was giving to trucking company. One you would think Armstrong would want to reach out to the Customer (US) But have not received a call back in 13 days. If this is how they (Armstrong treats there customers & how they speak of the Hard working trucking companys paying there bills.It should say something about the moral standards. Their is better brokers out there. Just dont risk your Business with a company that can 0 respect for the industry.

Id give 0 star but its not a option. Had till 4 p.m. to pick up a load, via email (which was the only way the broker would communicate) said it was still available, from 2:54 p.m. till 3:55 p.m. Cliff went AWOL and then cancelled on me even though I sat in front of the customers and the customer told me the load was there they just needed confirmation that it was going to be picked up. He lied @3:55pm and said shipper was closed due to inventory as I watched a truck get loaded and spoke with the shipper. Do your job Cliff and communicate or just quit, youre not doing your company any good.

These guys are terrible brokers. I dealt with John Barney on a load that supposed to weigh 41700 pounds ended up weighing 45753 and a trip back to the shipper where they made me wait all afternoon to remove some weight. Then my first delivery appointment was @ US Foods for 0600. The gates @ US Foods dont open until 0630 with no off street parking in the vicinity. Theres a sign in front of US Foods that states trucks allowed on site 0630 M-F yet broker Barney continued to insist my appointment was for 0600.So I park my tractor-trailer and check in @ US Foods and then - after waiting around for a couple hours - I ask the US Foods receiver whats the hold up? The receiver tells me my appointment is for 1000 not 0600 - the appointment could never have been for 0600 because the gate doesnt open until 0630!The sad part is these rip-off artists @ Armstrong Transport Group will somehow find a way not to pay me for detention and this considerable hassle that they expect you to be nice about.To recap: I was overloaded by the agreed weight by 4000 pounds. The closest scale was 50 miles away. I went back to the shipper because my tractor-trailer was over legal weight. The shipper then kept me there all afternoon. The next day my delivery appointment as stipulated on the rate confirmation was listed as 0600 but the facility doesnt open until 0630. Its now 0903 and Im still waiting for a door.Thanks John Barney winner of the 2017 Worst Brokered Load award. Bravo Zulu!

I had no options to give 0 stars. Guys please beware from this jerk company. W booked a load on Saturday night pick up from VA to Hayward CA of 3000 miles and we got a rate con for the delivery of Monday. We called the broker and told him that we cannot deliver this in 2 days and he said we can deliver late. So as It was 3000 miles we deliver this on Wednesday morning and guess what broker deducted our $1900 to deliver this load late. Broker name was Zak Pyle. We attached the screenshot of the conversation with him. After all we invoiced the pending amount for quick pay and Its been a week now we never got a payment. So please think twice before haul a load for this broker.
