I’ve used Sunny’s Dry Cleaners on Tryon for several years and I’ve always been happy with the dry cleaning. Today I picked up my first alteration they did and it’s great! It’s a pair of dress pants that are stretchy like thick yoga pants so I wasn’t sure how the hemming would look. It looks like the original hem… or maybe even better. I’m glad to know someplace close to home where I’ll be getting all my alterations done too!

I tried Sunny’s via a referral from a close friend. I needed several garments altered. They did an excellent job! I’m a very particular with details and every detail was addressed and it was completed on time. Thank you Sunnys and I’ll be back!

FIND A BETTER DRY CLEANER!! Only gave 1 star cause I cant give zero! Brought some clothes here to have cleaned. One of the shirts is a dark blue and white design shirt. The color was crisp when i brought it in. Requested to have it dry cleaned and picked it up the following week. Got it and the shirt was completely faded...looked as if it was washed in extra hot water! The owner claimed it wasnt their fault and it was washed in cold water. Cold water is not going to fade a shirt. Ive been here before to have clothes cleaned and altered. Photo with beard in upper left corner is before cleaning. Pictures does not come close to how awful it looks in person. Will not come here again!!5/23/2018 - Once again, FIND ANOTHER DRY CLEANER! As a follow-up to the comments by the management they were not willing to work with me. I did not steal nor tried to steal any money. I was there to talk to them and they refused to accept responsibility nor did they wanted to resolve the issue. Nobody came to rescue them. THEY ARE COMPLETE LIARS!!!

If you wish to have your clothings looking brand new all the time; this is the dry cleaners to use. In terms of professionalism and Value Sunnys Dry Cleaners are best in class.

Just went to pick up our granddaughters coat for zipper to be replaced. Not straight and took 3 times longer than promised. You guys are not doing so well to change my mind about your service. I just dropped off a Brand New 3 piece Suit for dry cleaning, hopefully it will be done great.

Had a bad experience with this business. I wouldnt return again after the service I received. I brought in my comforter to be dry cleaned and got it back with a large portion sewn together like it had ripped open and they sewed it back together without my permission. I went back just hoping to get a return on my $30 cleaning because of the damage. I explained what happened and when they pulled out the ticket they had written damaged on the ticket without my knowing. They then used that as a way of saying it was already damaged and they wouldnt give me my money back. No one there would make decisions they always had to call the manager who I for some reason could never speak with and even when they left a message with the manager they never called me back to fix the problem. I still havent received any money back and I will not be returning.

I travel for work and have been to quit a few cleaners, and this is by far the most expensive cleaner. To tapper and hem a pant I was charge $27 plus whatever the tax will be. I was so shocked from that and their price on the wall for laundry, I had no choice but to take my clothes back in the car. I am definitely NOT coming back. Their service is unaffordable and there is nothing beyond the norms (exceeding customer expectations) for which they are over charging customer.

I highly recommend this cleaners. The owner is friendly and helpful, and the clothes come back immaculate. I think my clothes may look better now than when I first bought them. Also, the price is very competitive compared to other local cleaners. Go here!Best in University Area, Charlotte!!

Took my wedding dress in to be cleaned before my wedding, and they made it perfect and bright for the wedding day. It was used and had some slight stains in prominent areas, and they made them practically invisible. Took it back to them after the wedding, which was outdoors at a farm (think dirt, grass, heat, etc.), and Sunnys made it good as new and bright again. Reasonable prices too!!

Highly Recommendable! The service has been continuously very efficient and friendly. The owners greet you with a smile and always give great quality. They care about what they do.As for the quality, its been a very long time since I have encountered a reputable Dry Cleaner. Sunnys Dry Cleaning has exceeded my expectations. This is the worst place I have ever done business with in Charlotte. I took 2 pieces of clothing to this establishment on June 29th only for one of the pieces to not be returned when I attempted to pick it up. I have contacted them numerous times trying to get hold of the manager, but they are never around. I was told the original person I was dealing with was fired and no one else knew of my issue. Its been almost 2 months and I have not received my pants nor any compensation for them not to mention they charged me for the cleaning. I am looking into filing a small claim against them.

I dont normally write reviews, but this time I had to. I was keeping my grands for the weekend and my granddaughter had a dance competition. When I picked her up Friday night she said that her costume was too big. Saturday morning I started calling around trying to get it altered. They had to practically remake it and had it ready for me not to miss her performance. They were so nice and he knew I had to drive back and forth from Rock hill, so he called me ahead of time to head back to pick it up. She was so happy and they were amazing.

He worked extremely fast to get me my dress altered on time the price was also very reasonable I will definitely be using him again for alterations

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! Destroyed my shirts and terrible customer service.I had 6 shirts cleaned here. When I received my shirts back, two of the shirts had a cut down the side of the sleeve in the same exact spot. I returned to the cleaners and they said they would call me shortly. I then waited two weeks with no call. I finally went to the store to see what the deal was. I then spoke with the owner who claimed their machines did not cause the rips and they were not responsible. The owner didnt even know what was on the back of their tickets and I was not offered anything for the shirt or my time. Just an overall bad experience and I would urge people to go somewhere else, so you do not have to deal with what I did and have two ruined shirts.

I’ve been here a few times and i enjoyed their service but this time they had a young rude girl at the counter. She charged me $29 for two pants and one shirt, each was $3.95 with basic math that told me it shouldn’t be more than $19 after taxes. Once she swiped my card and told me it’s was $29 i told her that doesn’t sound right. She completely ignored me, once i got the receipt i reviewed it to see the breakdown of the cost of course it wasn’t there. I told her she charged me to much she refused to admit she was wrong, i ended up having to wait almost 10 mins while she helped the other customers. When she finally got back to me she didn’t know how to do a refund the very nice gentleman who does alterations had to help her, she was extremely unprofessional and unpleasant. Thankfully that gentleman was there to help her because at first she told me she couldn’t give me a refund. Over all it ended up costing $19.23.. idk what math she did to get $29. Beware! Do you own math, there over charging us. I would love to speak to the management about to unfortunate event.

Had to get 2 work skirts and a pair of jeans altered, a few sizes down. Owner did a great job, I now have more clothes that fit and I can wear to work. His stitching is clean and properly fitting. However, alteraltions are pricey.

They have serviced my laundry items for many years. Friendly, fairly priced. This is truly the best cleaning service in Charlotte. You are treated as family as opposed to just a customer.

This place is amazing. Extremely neat work and very professional. I will be recommending this place to others and I myself will definitely be coming back here.
