Nicole is an amazing stylist. Really knows what she is doing. She is highly experienced in balayage and layered haircuts. A bit pricey, but totally worth the money. The space is clean, one-on-one and has great views of downtown Charlotte as well as the Panthers stadium; which is really cool. I first went in for a balayage consult and loved what Nicole had to offer as the plan for my color. She is creative, worked with my natural color and asked me tons of questions to see what I like and don’t like about my hair. Parking was sightly confusing, but luckily Creative Layers has 2 free spots saved just for their clients located underneath Loft 135. I definitely will be returning and bragging about Nicole to all my friends. I can’t stress enough in how difficult it was to find a stylist who listened and understood my needs. Love Creative Layers and it’s the perfect salon in Charlotte. I refuse to go anywhere else for my hair needs! Highly recommended!

I see Christie and my experience was phenomenal! The location is amazing, the salon space is cute and intimate and on top of that Christie did an amazing job with my hair. I got my roots touched up with a gloss on my ends and a blowout. The color is rich and exactly what I was looking for! My blowout lasted for 5 days in 90 degree humid weather!I highly recommend!

Am new to Charlotte area and took a risk on trying a new salon and totally fell in love! Went in for a hair color and highlight since my dirty blonde hair had grown out and had Christie as my stylist and she completed transformed my hair! If you are a blonde looking for great highlights I 100% recommend. She really worked her magic!! Held great conversation as well, very down to earth!!

I initially got a haircut at another salon in Charlotte and it was BAD, even after going back to get it fixed. I went to Nicole as a last ditch effort and ended up loving the result she got! Cant recommend enough!

Excellent stylist in a very nice and accessible location especially if you live in the area. Shop is brand new and still has just a little more work needed but other than that very nice.

I came in with a bunch of photos because I honestly had no idea what I wanted and Nicole helped me figure what my hair needs were. She knew what tones and haircut would fit my face shape and skin tone perfectly. I love how her studio is small, modern and upbeat. The prices are reasonable for the area and if you discuss your budget with Nicole during your consult she will help you get closer to your end result with in your budget. The best part was booking online. I can see her schedule and compare it to mine before I book. I love that because I never have time to call and go back and forth to book an appointment. Nicole super friendly, outgoing and her playlist in the salon was amazing! Highly recommend Nicole to anyone looking for a professional stylist especially in layered haircuts and hair coloring. Nicole did a nice job cutting my hair and an alright job with a partial balayage (super expensive and looked like baby highlights honestly.)Every time I contact her she has no idea who I am - what terrible customer service. I work with millions of people a day as well and at least somewhat try to accommodate people. She’s also very short when booking appointments. There’s just too many great options in the south end area for talented salons and she just lost a client.

I asked for framing layers around my face with a separate little side sweep bang (picture of what I wanted included). It did not look anything like what I asked for! You can barely see the framing layers and the side sweep bang was a lot larger than I was expecting. Peoples feedback said it didnt look as bad I felt it did, but agreed it looked nothing like the picture I provided as a guide. That being said, she was very nice and did offer to fix my hair free of charge. Im just not sure how else to explain what I want, so I will likely go out of town to have my previous hair stylist fix it for me.

Nicole cut my sons hair. She did a great job. The location is easy to get to and comfortable. My son had a style in mind to get, so he had a photo and she had no problem achieving what he wanted. He said it was the first time he liked the back of his hair. Worth doing business with.

Nicole does an amazing job! Being new to Charlotte, I was having a very hard time finding someone good. I purchased a living social which actually made me nervous but I went for it. I never needed to go anywhere else! Plus she is an artist. The art hangs in her studio and I have purchased a piece, all around talented! Highly Recommended!
