Signature Exteriors was very responsive and walked us through every step of the process including assisting us with filing a claim with insurance for storm damage. During the roof inspection, they even took a video so that we could see what they saw. Overall, they were very professional and did high quality work and the roof looks great!

This was my second time working with Signature Exteriors and the experience solidified their place in my mind as the best of the best. As a board member of our condominium building, we are in the preliminary stages of filing an insurance claim and having our roof replaced under insurance. After having multiple people come out and do quotes on our roof, Michael Garrie and the signature exteriors team were unbelievably thorough, organized and clear about how to proceed in the most effective manner for our community. We just finished the inspection and so far we are very pleased with their promptness and professionalism - this is something that is not always common when it comes to these types of repairs. Our community reserves would not be able to cover a repair like this and thanks to signature exteriors expert help, we will only be paying a small deductible for a full roof replacement and interior water damage repairs, which will save us thousands of dollars and maintain the health of our community. Michael is also a former cellist and as a musician in the Charlotte symphony, it was fun to connect with him about that. I will be leaving another review after the work has been completed but I have the utmost confidence in Michael and his team.

I had some leak areas in my house, most noticeable in my kitchen and sons bedroom, but also had a few small water spots elsewhere. The outer appearance of my roof was also starting to look quite poor. My roof was 19 years old, and I think it had one small repair in that time.Signature came out (promptly after I called) and did a very detailed and what I thought to be professional assessment. They identified the source of the leaks, and also noted that much of the damage was from hail. Based on the hail damage, they helped me work with my insurance company to receive compensation for what was damaged by storm.From there the process was excellent! My roof (for a 2,900 sq ft home) was completely replaced in one day! The next day they returned to replace all the gutters, and install leaf guards. Very professional office staff to work with, and very professional and courteous workers to perform the job on site.Definitely 5 stars. What I thought would be a nightmare of a job, turned out to be simple and painless. Only bit of a pain point was a bit of a mess in my attic. But that was really my fault as I didnt cover my attic possessions well (it was just dust and wood chips). Signature cut in new roof vents, which should have been installed when the house was built. So I was fine dealing with a little bit of clean up to have the roof installed properly. I would not hesitate recommending them to anyone.

I have worked with signature exteriors over the past 6 years. I have had them work on a number of properties. They have performed repairs on several flat roofs for me. They have also performed repairs on asphalt shingle roofs. Each time I have been impressed by the quality of work, attention for detail, ability to assist with the insurance claims process, and lastly they have always been incredibly responsive. They understand the importance of timing when it comes to a leak.

We called Signature Exteriors for an estimate for our roof replacement. I was immediately connected to John, who remained my connection throughout the process. John set up a time to visit based upon my availability, not his. He spent a lot of time documenting the property and preparing to talk with me, including taking detailed pictures with drone technology. He then clearly presented his companys process of roof replacement, and the process they have of working with our homeowners insurance. My wife and I met with a lot of companies for our job and this company was certainly one of the top ones. We ultimately chose to go with a different company, but John remained professional to the end and wished us the best as we moved forward. This is not a company to overlook - they came highly recommended by some of our neighbors and are certainly five star in professionalism!

We had hail damage and so insurance paid to replace the roof. The Signature Exteriors team did a great job evaluating, found damage to the metal roof over the bay window and worked with the insurance company to make sure everything that was needed was covered- and kept me involved and in the loop every step of the way. They did a great job with the roof and with communication all the way through, very professional. Cleanup left a little to be desired- they did all the big stuff, but I found quite a few little red plastic tabs all over the yard and a couple nails they missed- was really windy the day they finished and think this played a role. Overall I was extremely happy with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the whole team, would definitely use them again if we have the need.

Signature Exteriors completed a $20k plus roof replacement at my property a few years ago (paid through an insurance claim). When I noticed that the roof was leaking by one of the dormers, I called Signature Exteriors for a warranty request. They came out to inspect the roof and told me specifically that while they did replace the roof, they only replaced the asphalt shingles, not the metal roofing on the dormers, so this is my responsibility. I looked back at my paperwork and sure enough, replacing the metal roofing on the dormers was part of the scope of work that they were reimbursed for.Then, I had a different roofing contractor inspect the roof. I gave them a copy of the roof replacement paperwork and they found a handful of items from the original scope of work that Signature Exteriors didnt complete (replacing step flashing around the chimney, flashing around skylights, replacing an attic fan, replacing storm collar on furnace vent, etc.) See photo attached. Flashing around chimney clearly was not replaced. Asphalt shingles look great, but how does a reputable contractor replace a roof and not replace flashing!?I tried calling Signature Exteriors back to get them back out to the property to fix what they should have done the first time (and were paid for), but the owner has gone radio silent. Unfortunately, this is not the kind of service that anyone should have to deal with. I am left with reporting this to the BBB and will have to pursue litigation.Even though the contractor did not perform work for me personally (but instead for the prior owner of the property) the fact that the business owner has blatantly ignored me and not returned my calls, depicts a company that does not care, doesnt stand behind their work, and does not do the right thing. Separate complaint also filed with the BBB.UPDATE as of June 2019: I had to get the metal roofing on the dormers replaced by another contractor because the leaks got really bad, especially when the rain would pour. When the metal roofing was removed, we discovered that Signature Exteriors did not put down any ice and water shield. In fact, they just left the original felt paper from 30 years ago. On top of that, the metal roofing was installed incorrectly (the metal should have run underneath the asphalt shingles at the top of the dormer). Signature Exteriors cut the metal roofing short and just used a bunch of silicone. No wonder the metal roofing had leaks within a couple years. I would not trust this contractor for a roofing job, most especially if metal roofing is involved.

I highly recommend Signature Exteriors for a number of reasons. They are professional in all aspects of their business. The personel in the office answering the phones scheduling inspections, the inspection technician, the installation crews replacing the roof and the quality of workmanship. I was pleased with John and Stephanie who helped schedule my inspection and with Nick who performed my roof inspection and orchestrated handling my claim with my insurance company. I have observed a number of different roofing companies doing work in my neighborhood and none of them come close to providing the quality of workmanship that Signature Exteriors provides. I can’t recommend Signature Exteriors enough. Our house was damaged in a severe storm. I submitted a request for a quote and received an immediate response. Stephanie was competent, courteous and efficient in gathering my information and coordinating with her operations team. Signature Exteriors put a new roof on my house back in March of this year. Since then, every time I look up at my roof, I cry. It looks like work done by amateurs! I had a GREAT experience with Signature Exteriors. I contacted them on Friday morning and had someone at my house Tuesday night. I was worried since I was only looking for an inspection for my insurance agency that we would be roped into a sales pitch...but that never happened. I heard good things from my sister who used them. They finished her project quickly (after the rain let up).I had a leak and requested a consult. They sent out an accessor who was on my roof for quite a while. He showed me pictures and went back to the office to write a proposal. It turns out my leak was not from the roof but I need to recommend them because they were very professional, spent time answering questions, and suggested other ways to find the leak. They made no money on my job but were helpful!

My renovation consultant from Signature Exteriors, Michael Henry, was fabulous to work with. He supported my entire roofing project! Supporting me when working with my insurance company, responded to questions and assisted with some troubleshooting.

After the inspection, John provided a thorough report out, complete with a video and illustrative photos. When it was determined that weather damage was definitely present and impacting the roof, John assisted in starting the insurance claim process.

Based on my personal experience, I hired them to repair a roof leak, approx. $2500 job. Seemed very professional, took a lot of pictures and did a good job on the sales pitch. Unfortunately my experience went drastically downhill with the actual repairs. They did not repair the leak timely and took several attempts after persistence to fix the roof. They initially performed a roof repair which was unsuccessful. After I informed them my roof was still leaking they told me they completed the job I hired them to do and said it was my brick leaking. I brought in 3 independent contractors to look at the brick and they all 3 confirmed it was not the masonry and could see the source of the leak in the roof. The roofers returned to attempt another repair which was unsuccessful. It wasn’t until I cut a hole in my bedroom wall and showed them where I could poke a finger through the roof and daylight was coming in, (they told me that some daylight coming through the roof is normal), but they finally came back to fix my roof. It took approx. 4 months for them to complete the job I hired them for and it was only because I was persistent and involved 3 independent parties to confirm it was not my brick and it was an actual roof leak. Every time I asked to speak to owner of company they told me he was out of town or just stepped out of office. He never would talk to me so I could explain my concerns as a customer. Worst experience I probably ever had with a company

John was very easy to work with. We were contacted quickly and an appointment was easily scheduled to assess our storm damage. The video John took of our roof really helped us understand the extent of the damage.
