The guys were extremely quick and efficient. They even swept up after they had loaded everything onto the truck. They called and made sure I was home and they were early. So I’m giving this a four-star review because it was super simple, and my back was against the wall. I was moving out of my condo, getting it ready for new tenants, and had a fair amount of items that needed to be discarded. I did not know that this service existed, but it was easy to find, easy to set up, and I had to reschedule it a couple of times, so I did like the flexibility. I didn’t particularly appreciate that they don’t share the price with you when you book. If you have a set fee for hauling junk, you should share that price range with your clients. It seems like you’re not sharing that information ensures that the client is on the hook whether they can afford the service or not. If you need to see what you will be picking up, you should have your clients take a picture or a video ahead of time. Because of this, I am reducing the review down to three stars. I did like a no-contact pick-up as I was not there when the truck was loaded.

Jacob and Zach did a great job. They gave me two calls the morning of my pickup to give me a more exact eta, and provided great service for the furniture I needed removed. Would 100% recommend their services to a friend, and greatly appreciate their help.

Let me start of by saying that I RARELY give bad reviews, but I had to review your company because it is such a scam!! I have no clue how you have such good reviews on Google. Search them on Facebook and youll find people that feel the same as I do.First of all, you missed my time frame (2-4). I had a guy (Dexter) call me at 2:15 and say hell be here within the hour... he never showed. Dexter had asked what all I had to pick up and I advised him it was only cardboard boxes. I guess he had a bigger truck and you all wouldve made less money if he came. Then Bryan called around 6pm saying he was on the way. He loaded it up and said we owed $629 for a full load. I never received a quote, even though you all state you will give a quote with NO obligation. All we had was cardboard boxes from a move. You all made sure you brought the smallest truck for my load. $629 to remove cardboard boxes... thats just flat out robbery. I will NEVER use your company again, nor will I recommend it. I will be posting a review on all websites as well to make people aware. Your company is such a scam. I am infuriated!!! Again, i NEVER received an upfront quote before they loaded their truck. I was told they would call me before loading to give me a price and that never happened. They called me after they loaded the truck and requested payment. Horrible way to do business!!

Zach and Donovan were great. They called 35 mins ahead of time which gave me time to have things ready. I asked requested this pick up at 1030am, so they came same day (which is GREAT because I procrastinated on this). They were respectful and also so patient with my very curious kids who kept talking to them the whole time. They moved this BIG HEAVY sectional from our basement in the heat, and it took them less than 30 mins from when they got here until I got my receipt. I will definitely be using 1-800 GOT JUNK again!

They were able to take phone call on a Sunday and set up next day service. They were flexible with me not being there. They communicated well with me with what specifically needed to get done. The two gentlemen that came acted professionally and got the job done quickly. The final price was double what they quoted me. If it wasn’t for the price doubling I would have given 5 stars.

First I want to say that the guys who did the work were great. Friendly and professional and got the job done quick. The scheduling however needs to be better. We had a scheduled arrival of 11:30-1:30. They weren’t able to get to us until 4:00. We were waiting at our storage unit for them because since moving back to NC we now live 40 min away and didn’t want to keep them waiting on us. We did get phone calls with updates and letting us know they were running behind so again, the guys doing the work were great. The price wasn’t bad for what we had them pick up and they got everything out and loaded quickly, even after the rough day they’d already had.

The team that removed and cleaned our space were hardworking and courteous. My parents had stored 50 years of stuff in a 3500 square foot basement. Lighting was poor, space was poorly lit, and it was pouring down rain, but the team worked 12 hours carrying plywood, books, furniture, lawn mowers, old heat pumps, metal lighting, etc. up a hill to 3 trucks. Items were recycled where possible. This was expensive, but my family thought it was worth it. This was a job that we could not handle. I had a yard sale first and gave a lot of stuff away in an effort to prepare. Their estimate was close to the final cost.

I can only assess four stars because the job remains incomplete. I scheduled this job two weeks ago via the website. We provided a detailed description of the job and what it would entail to complete. The gentleman tasked with doing the job were surprised by amount of items they would have to remove in just under four hours. The management was told that job entailed downsizing an entire house in preparation for a move. Needless to say the gentleman could not finish in one day much less four hours.The gentleman worked tirelessly and were very respectful of all our things including the things we were donating and/or throwing away. I would work with them again but their managerial staff needs better communication skills.

Connor and Ihmir were fabulous! We got word at 3:30 pm that our new couch would be arriving at 8:00 am tomorrow. The old, very heavy couches were still in our small living room. Very disappointed with 1-800-GOT-JUNK. I set up an appointment online for estimate and removal for 6/23/21 between the hours of 12 -2pm. I received a call at 12:30 pm letting me know they had 1 customer before me and they will arrive after that job was completed. I did not hear from anyone until after 6pm informing me they were en route to my residence. If there was an issue with scheduling they should have communicated that and we could discuss my options. What is the point of making the appointment if it is not going to be honored?! I just went ahead and scheduled a bulky item pickup with the City of Charlotte. A loss for 1-800-GOT-JUNK. But a win for my pocketbook. Thanks!

The two gentlemen who took our junk today were AMAZING!. Super professional, punctual, and efficient. They clearly explained the process and followed suit. They were on time (in fact a few minutes early) and cleared put my garage in a very organized manner. They were respectful of the items we had being cleared out (as they were my mothers who had passed away a few weeks prior) and expressed their sympathies which I thought was very considerate.I would definitely use them again if needed.

John and Adam were incredibly professional when they came to pick up an old mattress. I received a call about 30 minutes before they arrived to let me know they were on the way. The website had an easy scheduling system to set up the appointment. The flat rates were fair and shared up front so there were no surprises or hidden fees. It’s based on how large your item is and how much of the truck it will take up to haul. Would highly recommend if you have a large item to be hauled away and I would 100% use this service again in the future.

Great bunch of people. Wonderful communication. They called days before to confirm. When they were running behind they called to let me know and they called when they were 20 min away. They were still within their window of 12‐2 when they arrived so not really late at all.. I pulled what I wanted out of my garage although they would have done all that work themselves.It took them less than 20 min to fill 3/4 of the truck with my junk! Signed the receipt and they were off. I tipped them because they hussled and they were appreciative.Will use them again when we need to simplify further.Thanks for a great job!

Ive used this service several times and its always great. This is much easier than trying to load things up myself and making a dozen trips to get rid of unwanted stuff.

2.5 hours late. I had an appointment window btwn 12-2pm they showed up at 4:20. Was done & back in trucking leaving at 4:43. And wanted to charge me $369 not where I’m from. I know those guys are jus doing their job but so am I.

Everyone stayed in contact with us and kept us updated throughout the day until they came to get our couches. We had one set of Junk people come a couple weeks ago and they were patient and helpful as they gave us a quote even though we werent able to get them taken that night. The crew today was also helpful and got the job done quickly but with care so as not to damage any walls or door frames. We were also able to negotiate on price a bit for two couches which helped us tremendously as we are moving. Great company and the people are always fun to talk to. I recommend 1-800-GOT-JUNK for anything you dont know what to do with!

They led my wife to believe they would cost 125 to 350 for a whole truck, but came and quoted 400 to 550 for half a truck. They kept me waiting at the site for two hours, but when I went for supplies and couldnt get back for 20 minutes they ditched me, and accused me of not being prepared. I called a small local service that got the work done that same day for 300. Thats what I recommend to everybody.

This company is a complete rip off! They will try to rob you blind. They gave me an estimate of $300 and it doubled the day they came even though there was less junk than when they came for the estimate. They even try to argue when they didnt finish the job. Absolute waste of time and money.

My boyfriend and I had so many things piling up for us to throw away. I wanted to get rid of the things so we could make room in our backyard and also in our house. I saw one of the trucks driving by one day and I researched their website. John and Jake were wonderful with their customer service. They called me 15 minutes before arriving and even earlier than we expected so that was nice! They explained the quotes for each item and how they charged their service. My biggest concern was to receive a good will receipt for all my items. I stressed this from the beginning, from scheduling the pickup to when the movers came to pick up. I was moving and had major items such as a couch, coffee table, dresser w/mirror and several other items. Well after being told I would receive a receipt, no one ever got back to me. I called several times and still no resolve. I would go with another junk removal company.

Over Charged!!!!! I was told for the items I had I would pay between $139 and $189 but when their guys arrived the quote was totally different, I was charged almost $300, instead. NEVER using this company again...John and Leo were nice but the pricing is outrageous at this place.

I had a good experience with my junk removal. I was able to call them same day and they came out a few hours later. The two gentlemen were friendly and got right to work loading the truck up.I did feel the pricing was a bit high. I paid $519 for 2/3 of a large truck load. I was $100 away from getting my own dumpster delivered. It did catch me way off guard. It would be helpful if they had some pricing index on their site. They provided an en estimate of a little over $300 when they arrived and then as they were loading it the price kept increasing. I guess what makes the pricing more easy to deal with is the convenience. I just had to point and they loaded it. OVERALL, I would probably get this service again, but be a little more price conscious.
