They are the absolute worst! They never get back to you when they tell you they will even if you call them 3 times a day. Chelsea and Jennifer always lie about calling you back. All they do is send mass spams of job emails in which when you call them about they say theyll get back to you and guess what? They NEVER do. Unprofessional and a waste of time. Other employment agencies in the Charlotte area are far superior.
I had a wonderful experience with Apple One. They listened to what I was looking for out of an opportunity and didn’t push me to any roles that were not a true fit for me. When my temporary role turned Full time quicker than I anticipated they were more than understanding about the short notice and had nothing but positive words and well wishes. Thanks for helping me find my forever home career wise!
They are not just recruiters, theyre mentors. Ive had the pleasure of working with two recruiters there and they are both very understanding, helpful people. They also work very quickly to get you the job you want. Highly recommend!
I had an excellent experience with AppleOne!My recruiter, Jessica Bravo, was great. She offered a lot of help with my resume and overall approach to applying for jobs. Their office, coordinator, April, was absolutely amazing and really helped answer a lot of my concerns. I felt prepared for my own jobs search. There was a lot of work that went into it on my end but Jessica readily provided equal if not greater effort. I was luckily placed in a position I am excited about. It took a lot of time and I had to open myself to learning. Overall, even if I hadnt been placed, I would still give 5 stars. There is a lot of information offered by these recruiters. The guidance alone is worth the extra time. Thank you AppleOne!
I Went out my way to go to this appointment just not to be seen for whatever reason. They dont treat people of color as humans. As the person i was suppose to interview with came out of her office to where i was and never acknowledged me and whispered to the front desk person like i couldnt hear that she cant see me today and gave no reason and told the lady to tell me she will follow up with me. Which she never have. They need to close this place down because they are there just using up space . luckily i already found another job and didnt wait around for these people to email me and call me like they said i was so i can start work. Its sad for people who put they faith into temp agencies that make promises they cant keep for so called jobs they have open which dnt even require you to have a Hs diploma of GED
I agree with those who has experienced what Im going through now. Interviewed with the agency over a month ago and gave my salary mark..long story short my agent never calls me Im emailing her every week to submit me the positions and to let me know if I get an interview. Never get a follow up and when I ask her all Im told is Charlotte is a competitive market place. Highly disappointed in the company after it was highly recommended.
I came to appleone with the hopes of them being able to find me new work because i wanted a change in career path. I was working a job at the time and this agency called my current employer without informing me that they would be doing so and were never able to find me new employment in the end. Good thing a coworker answered the phone and not my boss because I would be out of a job because of them because they did not help me find new employment at all.
I was new to Charlotte at the time. I filled out the application online and set my appointment. I was given all information and possible place that I could be placed at during this appointment. Within two days I received an email about places that have openings and I just needed to reply with my chose of job. I literally got an interview 2 days later with that company and has been here ever since. With that being said I am very pleased with their professionalism, promptness and efforts of finding me a job. I was employeed not even a week after I moved here. If I knew anyone that was looking for a job I would refer them to Apple One.
I love Appleone from start to finish it is very smooth,I’m currently working at a great company through them! They are great people and good pay. No complaints here, I will say use them over kelly or addecco for sure
I would like to state that the same thing happened with me that happened with the two people below. I sent them my resume, and I made the appointment. It was for a small publishing firm in Mint Hill. I have a Master of Arts Degree in English from Michigan, graduated with a 3.4 GPA, and I was an Honors Scholar. My undergraduate degree was in English and German, and I graduated with a 3.76 GPA. I also graduated with top honors in my college and majors. I called about the job to verify the appointment that would take place on a Friday. The person asked me about my qualifications, and I told them that I had years of customer service experience and even accounts receivable experience. Also, I told them that I wrote on a freelance basis for Examiner Magazine, and I wrote editorials for the school paper in my undergraduate university and my undergraduate university. I helped with the scoring of college entrance scholarship essays alongside editing student papers within my department. He proceeded to ask me: Do you have any customer service experience? Yes, I replied and told him again of my qualifications. He asked me the question again and stated that the customer service experience did not count. He asked me again. I said I did not understand what he meant by the aforementioned question. He then went again to ask if I had proper computer skills and telephone skills. I told him that I was overly proficient in MAC OSX and Windows Operating Systems. He asked if I answered the phone with my other jobs. I said yes, and he asked me how many times. I thought these questions were absurd. He stated to me after I went off my qualifications that I did not have enough customer service experience and writing experience. I asked how much I would need and he said three to five years. I want to get out of the retail game and work in a professional setting, namely in writing and publishing. He told me to stay in retail and actually stick with something I am good at. I am calling these people and giving them a piece of my mind. Never have I had someone diss my qualifications like that guy did.
Appleone totally sucks. You are basically finding the jobs yourself and emailing your Agent to let them know to submit you for that job, They do not check in or follow up with you. When they do contact you. Its positions that they cannot fill that do not even meet your criteria. They are not a headhunter. They are a staffing agency that you have to initiate contact with, register on their website, set up your appointment, meet with an agent, only for them to tell you to call them every week to check and see what they have. WTF? or If you see a job that they have posted online, you need to email your agent and tell them to send your resume for that job.The Agents do not follow up, other than random emails with some job positing. When you call the office, your agent is busy or has nothing for you right now.My advice, if you want to register with them. Register with multiple agencies because Appleone will not work for you
No one really helps or follows up. Ive been looking for jobs on my own. The representative working with me got offended when I mentioned other job possibilities. Ultimately, I never really felt there were looking out for my best interests.
Very pleased. I sent my resume to Soraya for a position my friend forwarded to me. Soraya called within an hour, we spoke on the phone and she sent my resume to the client. I was called a day later and the interview was set. I got the job, salary is great. Soraya kept in touch the entire process. Great experience.
Im glad Im not the not the only one who was displeased with my AppleOne experience. I was registered with them one time before with Anthony Justice and he was extremly rude. He seemed to not care about anything I was saying. I registerd recently with Sara Platz. Her customer service was great after going in for my interview I heard nothing else from her. i would get mass emails sent to me and everyone else they had registered with them about positions that had nothing to do with me. I called to speak to Sara after a month of no correspondence and got Anthony on the phone. i kindly asked to speak to Sara and after telling him who was speaking he placed me on hold. Only to come back and say shes on the line. I asked if she could call me back, he states she will be on the line for a long time may I help you. I told him no, I will wait for her to call me back. He states she probably wont be able to call you today. At this point Im confused, he insisted on helping me so I told him I didnt like the process they used for employment. I expressed my concerns of no communication and I wanted to deleted from the database. He was extremly rude and laughed ont he phone.I will let everyone know not to go with AppleOne.
After submitting my resume and going through the online process of creating my own appointment to see an agent, (I was super impressed with that functionality) I was contacted on the eve of the appointment for what I had initially assumed to be a confirmation. I was wrong. The lady with an accent I couldnt place other than to say New Jersey called basically to try to talk me out of keeping my appointment. She downplayed her own companys ability to place candidates and tried to pigeonhole me based on my B.A. and experience into more of an IT role. After rolling with the punches and explaining that I was interested in other fields as well she then informed me placement would be impossible due to a requirement of at least two years in an applicable field. When I pointed out my resume supplied these she then went back to her original argument that I had noted I would be interested in IT and that they wouldnt want to place someone who was going to leave. At this point I got angry and simply told her to have a nice day, ending the conversation. Highly unprofessional and if I were the companys owner Id have a serious discussion about how she presents her company as incompetent in the current job market to prospective employees before they even walk in the door.
They should all be fired! What a colossal waste of time, Ive been there twice and each time the recruiter has a cold, stay home if youre always sick. They lack compassion for worker seeking employment, they treat human like cattle.
