As long as it doesn’t matter when you receive your package or shipment they will probably work. If you’re looking for dependability look elsewhere.

I have worked here for 15 years.

I have been waiting on a delivery for two days. Called at 4:00 and was told truck was eight miles away and would be here. I told them I would wait, after an hour I called back and they said that had to send driver on pickups and would not be here today. After I told them I would wait and they told me he would be here. Who knows when it will be delivered. I have contacted the people I made the purchase from and advised them if it is not delivered tomorrow I will cancel the order!!

Dropped off 8 skids at Charlotte NC terminal to be delivered in Charlotte NC the next day. 2 days later, and being told it will be another day or 2 for delivery. 4 days to go 12 miles?

I dont know how this company treats its employees well but it treats outside carriers like garbage. They will keep you waiting in a dock to get unloaded for hours. Receiving personnel are unprofessional. If you deliver a load to this location be prepared to wait 4 hours or more just for them to start unloading you.

Want to talk about the most unprofessional trucking service in the industry. Well that would be Averitt. They have had our merchandise for over five days and state they cant deliver due to not enough drivers. They schedule appointments that they dont keep nor notify you that the appointment is not going to be met. We have been trying for over five days to receive our merchandise and where told that we could pick up our merchandise at their distribution center. Whats the point in having them deliver if We have to pick it up from their distribution center. We wouldnt recommend this company if it was the only company that did deliveries. Nor will we ever use this company for delivery again. No calls no shows no merchandise???? NO customer service!

So tired of trying to get work done on my assigned truck. the company has a written policy that the truck shocks have to be leaking before they can be changed it doesnt matter how many times you tell them that they are bad, or how many miles 259000, 350000 it seems as long as Dot cannot write them up for it the people in charge locally say they have no control over the shop or its procedures. They advertise well maintained trucks and the shop guys I wont call them mechanics they dont know the difference between a seat shock and the airide system. And they know bad shocks cause a semi truck to take 20% longer to stop so stay out of the way of an averitt semi for your safety.

I paid $135 extra to have material direct shipped from Tx. Because I realize that people get stupid near a holiday, I called each day to be sure my material would deliver on Good Friday, since I could be off today and drive 40 miles one way. Every day I was told yes, it would be here. No on the day of, they tell me no, it will be Monday. Not acceptable as my business deals in commercial real estate that we have to upfit while they are closed. Talked to a super, now its coming sometime today. I will be strongly suggesting to Earthwerks that they not use Averitt for my deliveries.

Slow, disorganized, and unconcerned about the consignee’s need for the freight in a timely manner. Lousy customer service and plenty of excuses.

DO NOT use this company if you want your goods delivered in a timely manner. We were lied to about the date and time they were to be delivered.. once it was over an hour late, we called to track the 49 chairs we were waiting for, and the customer service representative just flat out said it didnt go out today with no apologies WHAT SO EVER. Not only did they not have the decency to call us and let us know that it didnt go out, but the lady who I spoke to was flat out rude, and BEYOND unprofessional. I then spoke to her supervisor who did absolutely nothing for us and just explained that it will just go out tomorrow. We had guys waiting around for 2 hours to help up with our delivery and it was just a complete waste of time. We will NEVER be using this company ever again and I suggest you do the same.

Do not take a load to delivery in this placeI head appointment 8am they docked me inRight a way now im in dock for almost 3 hours did not even start unloading i ask them they told me they will start in couple hours and i ask them how long will takes to unloaded me told me couple hoursSo i will never take a load going to averitt anymore I suggest you do the same

Received a large, heavy item which was not packed well from the shipper, the Averitt driver was extremely knowledgeable & helpful unloading the shipment, I would not have been able to unload without his advise.
