I began working for Cymetrix, Navagant and now Guidehouse almost 14 years ago based in Lewisville, TX. I have no complaints about Lewisville, TX as AR insurance follow up. Enjoyed going to work. The team leads, managers and supervisors were (most) great people. All those years I worked for facilities. I have worked under a variety of clients, payers and supervisors using many different systems. I have always reached the production goals, with good work evaluations each year. Then Guidehouse transferred me (and 7 or 8 others) to N. Carolina professional insurance follow up. They treat their people badly. Maybe it’s a cultural thing. It’s not only the team lead but the manager (though I did like her) but HR as well. I am not a coder or biller. I am not certified, and uncomfortable making changes to a claim form. In my position of facility follow-up this was something we did not do. I am not sure it is even legal. We were micromanaged to the point that if we did not abbreviate from the team leads “special” list points counted against us. (for 13 ½ I had been notating accounts wrong?) If I were the only one of the Lewisville team who felt this way, I could ask myself what I was doing wrong. But I am not. They dread logging in everyday with the knowledge they are going to be put down, degraded, and told how incompetent they are. There is no respect. That bunch does not rate even one star. Give Lewisville 5 stars.
