Our shower pan was expertly refinished on Monday, April 19. The technician was professional and skilled.We could not be happier with the outcome. The pan is like new and has been successfully test-driven! Theappointment and payment processes were also pleasantly smooth. We consider the price reasonable and theoutcome excellent.

Had this company come out to reglaze one of our tubs that was chipping and peeling. They were on time, professional, and did a great job on the unit. Sure beats having to replace the tub. Our tub looks brand new. Thanks so much!

Specialized Refinishing Co. resurfaced a bath tub in our upstairs bath. The tub/shower were installed in our home in the late 70s. It was still functional and we liked the features, so rather than replace we had it resurfaced. It was a phenomenal job! The tub unit looks like it came out of a showroom...could not be more pleased!!

After contacting several different companies in Charlotte regarding having my kitchen countertops resurfaced I went with Specialized Refinishing. Their prices were reasonable and in speaking to Cameron - who answered all of my questions - I felt comfortable with letting them do the job.We set a date for the end of the week. That date approached and needed to be moved because while Specialized Refinishing has a branch in Charlotte they are actually based in the Triangle. It was a simple misunderstanding that came down to local technician availability.On the day of the service the employee that came was very nice and courteous. He worked by himself and spent several hours prepping and painting my counters.Upon completion I inspected the counters and found that there was overspray in many places throughout my kitchen (walls, cabinets, floor) and several spots on the counter that had lumps/blemishes. This, along with an uneven application and an inconsistent texture left me unsatisfied with the work that was done. I was told that an appointment could be made for everything to be fixed.I called Cameron and sent pictures of the job and the overspray. He apologized profusely and asked how I wanted to handle things. The owner also called me and said they would do everything in their power to make things right (paying for damages, repainting, reimbursing my payment, etc).I chose to schedule another service for a week or so later. This time a technician from the head office came to redo the countertops. This involved stripping the original paint off and redoing the entire job. What I did not expect was that the original technician showed up, as well. While it was initially off-putting I was appreciative that the company went out of their way to show the original technician how to better do the job through training and allowed him not only to learn from his mistakes but also the chance to apologize in person.Unfortunately, even though the countertops were resurfaced there were still issues after the second service appointment. They mostly involved the area around the sink. The paint had been sprayed so thick there during the initial application that it created an uneven finish even after sanding.Cameron apologized once again and offered to personally refinish the countertops over the weekend as an option - letting me know that if it did not work we could figure something else out. He came out and sanded everything down and his best get it to work but in sanding down the finish layer the matte layer beneath it became more exposed and obvious.He left and after a couple of phone conversations we decided to try a full service again. The night before the technician arrived I pulled my sink out and continued a bit of sanding to prep the area. This was unnecessary, as the technician sanded and prepped for an hour and a half upon his arrival to get the countertop as smooth as possible. A few hours later the job was done. It looked fantastic. There was no ring around the sink. The surfaces were all smooth and even. And once the top coat cured the job looked even better.Specialized Refinishing gave me many options along the way for how they could go about correcting the mistake that was made. Upon completion of the final service they asked if I wanted them to hire someone to do repairs, have someone I know do repairs, or do repairs myself and bill them for time. They asked me for an invoice for any items that I needed to have fixed or replaced - and even recommended that I replace/charge them for a drawer pull that I was just going to try to clean. Once I submitted the invoice they called to make sure I was taken care of to make sure I did not need anything else. I then received compensation within 20 minutes.While the first service with this company was not their finest moment I greatly appreciated the communication and professional way they handled the process thereafter.Plus, the countertops look great.

There is a reason this company has such stellar reviews! Their workmanship is above par. We were extremely happy with the results. Our tub and tiles look brand new. Nice, clean, and shiny!The man who did our tub and tiles, was so nice and worked so hard. He arrived on time and got right to work. This man is an asset to your company and I hope these words are passed on to him.And I called Specialized Refinishing several times and had a question for the owner, Will. Every time I called, he was so nice and patient and answered all my questions.Their prices are extremely reasonable too! Great workmanship, super hard worker, wonderful price and an owner, you can actually call, ask for, and talk to! I highly recommend this company.See before and after photos! The gentleman who did my walk- in shower was A excellent worker. I had A friend try to reglaze my shower and didn’t do the job right. After calling this company and have them redo my shower was the best thing I could have done. The end results was amazing. Thanks so much...the Tech was prompt and thorough and did a great job. We appreciate the communication and information from start to finish. We had a massive hole/crack in the bottom of our shower, the damaged area was probably 6 to 8 inches wide, and we are are so glad this could be an economical repair instead of an expensive bathroom overhaul.
