This place is a complete scam. I just purchased a vehicle last Thursday and it broke down in Saturday. Absolutely do not purchase a car from here.

Well where to start...went to get a car from JDbuyrider on south blvd. Nic who was the salesman was nice and professional. Long story short after all paperwork is completed am given the keys to test drive. Turn car on and hear clicking noise, brought it to Nics attention he says its not mechanical its the actuator and they will fix it. Cool no problem mind you I love the car. Take it in after several hours get it back no noise. Couple of days later the radio just goes out, I call take it in Austin the service manager fixes it in 5min, bad switch. The next day same actuator noise again I call them and say hey I know you guys are busy so Ill drop the car off before I go out of town that way you have days not hours to fix it. Now the reason for my review I am on the highway and my car starts decreasing in speed even though my foot is on the gas. Loud honk from the person who almost rear ended me, as I am trying to pull to the side of the road my car shoots of because of all the gas now and I almost hit someone. I have only had this car for two weeks. I am going to file a complaint when JDbuyrider corporate office and follow up with the in-store manager I did not spend my money on a potential death trap.

While Id like to say good things about JDB, I cant in 2021. I actually bought a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt from here back in 2011. It lasted well into my 2nd year of ownership, when I traded it in for a brand new off the Chevy lot Cruze!Fast forward to 2021... I took my Cousin here to try to get him a car. Hed just gotten his Temporary certificate for a replacement license, since his old truck was totaled and all of his identification burned up in the car. So we printed the temp id from the DMV website. Went thru the long application process here and they wanted the picture. Well he didnt have it. The temporary should suffice, sine its an official DMV record, which means the DMV would be mailing the perm license card within 20 days. Told us that without that, my cousin is SOL. Well, we went right to Kia up the block and got my Cousin a car. With that same temp driving certificate. He Put down $1500. and he is enjoying his car. I wont bring anyone else to JD byrider, now that I know what kind of games theyre playing. I will bring them to Kia! God moves in such good ways when the connection is right. If you need to go to Kia on S. Blvd, make sure you ask for Nathan. Tell him Troy sent you!

Going In I was nervous about getting approved because I have a repo on my credit. A J Henry quickly greeted me as I went in and explained everything to me about how by rider works and as well as making sure I was comfortable with the application process and explaining to me how it works and how my repo didn’t effect my car buying experience. But this wasn’t the end of my questions. I then had lots of questions about the warranty process and how it works. I know I am purchasing a used vehicle but I still was very concerned about purchasing a lemon car. Shawn then came out and explained everything to me in detail about the warranty and even some options after the 3 yr warranty expires. I must say for buy here pay here place they are truly for the customer and you will leave there very satisfied and comfortable with your purchase. :)
