We used A Step Above for our daughters Sweet 16 birthday celebration. We rented the Benz Sprinter Limo. Latoya in the office was very helpful & a pleasure to deal with. My daughter & 7 friends had an amazing experience! Rick our driver, was awesome & did an outstanding job with chauffeuring the girls to dinner & a night out. He communicated with us & didnt let them out of his sight! A truly memorable experience for them!! Thank you A Step Above!!! We will use you for any future services!!!

I was very pleased with our experience with A Step Above Limousine Service we used for our Dads 90th Birthday celebration. Communicated very quickly and thoroughly, priced very fairly and a good value. Our driver, Melanie, was early to arrive, very professional and personable, and very accomodating. The limo was beautiful and very clean. It was a bit warm in the limo during our ride but we did have 10 people in the limo which was the maximum so Im sure that didnt help the temperature. Overall, I would definitly use A Step Above Limosines again and would not hesitate to recommend them to others seeking classy, prompt, professional, and personal service.

A Prom limo ride after a pandemic was just what made the evening perfect for the kids. The driver was courteous and kept the kids safe and sound to dinner, prom and then back home. Beware - driver didn’t show! I booked a ride to the airport at 530am and driver didn’t show. The city I was in didn’t have Uber and so I had to call a regular taxi and wait 45 min. I barely made my flight.

Yona was excellent, absolute 6 star, in every way. The only difficulty was his accent and mask. Im extremely hard of hearing and rely on articulation and lip reading. I must admit his english is far better than my Ethiopian and my wife assisted me durring conversations with Yona. I Iook forward to having him as our driver in the future.

When I called to make my reservation I reserved the Chrysler 300 stretch limo. At the time the Lincoln was available and I told them I did not want it.I was told it seated 10 people which that is the number in my party. On my contract reservation email it stated I reserved the Chrysler 300.When the limo arrived it was an older Lincoln.The seating barely fit 10People ( which were teenagers) one girl felt like she could fall off the end seat the entire time. The Chauffeur was great.Our dinner ran later than expected.we tipped the chauffeur extra even though it was included on the contract. We were charged for 3 extra hours $375Without a l call or email authorization they charged our credit card. We were only one hour and 45 minutes later. I called and talked to Ayman and asked him why they overcharged me and without my authorization. He said he would talk to a manager and call me back. I also asked why I was picked up in a old Lincoln when I reserved the Chrysler 300. He said the other driver took the wrong car. I told him that is not my problem I want my charges reserved. He said he understood and will take care of it and call me back.I called the following day and I was told by Katie in accounting that he was over seas out of the country.and he was the Owner .Which is strange I just spoke to him last night. I did not receive a return call so I called again that same day this time I asked for Ayman which he was not available so I asked if he was there I was told by latoya yes, he will call you back. I haven’t heard back. This a a very unprofessional company that has not stood behind their word and broken their contract. I would not recommend or use this company ever again.

I called with 1 hour before pickup time for my boss and not only was the team responsive and accommodating but they immediately were able to handle my need to schedule a driver. I was not there for pick up but I received a message from my boss and his wife saying this was the best car service he has ever had and he uses car services all of the time. Way to go!! They do not honor their written contracts! I had contracted them for 3 transfers for my daughter’s wedding. The balance that was do on that day was $33.75. They charged my Credit Card an overage of $311.75. I had an email from them saying they would mail me the money owed to me. Phone calls and emails went back and forth between myself and Ayman the owner and Latoya who is an employee for over a year and I still do not have the money they owe me. Do not book with this company! Their contracts mean nothing to them! Use another limo service who is worthy of your business!

Buyers be aware!!! This is one of the most unprofessional and negligent companies that I have ever dealt with. Dont waste your time or your money. The facts is I hired this company to run a bus trip for me on Saturday, the company contacted me after I fully paid off the trip advising that they have to add more charges on to my trip which was $400 to add another driver because the state regulations requires a driver for a 24 hour trip. I can appreciate the state regulations to keep me and my clients protected but what I cant appreciate is that I wasnt notified about this until less than 24 hours before my group trip. Not to mention, they had a full itinerary from day 1 and they sent me a receipt showing a zero balance. They gave me an option to pay the $400 for another driver or they will cancel my trip. Well when I disputed that amount they offered that I can pay $150 to pay for a hotel for the driver to get some rest. I accepted the offer to do the $150 even though I felt it wasnt right because of the late notice, well not only did they still cancel my bus trip citing *conflict of interest* that they caused but also they took the $400 out of my account anyway without my authorization. Not only did that ruin my business relationship with my clients but I had to fight with my credit card company to get everyone refunded. The company never contacted me back about the cancellation or my money. I never received an apology from this company about anything that took place. They are dishonest and rude and I suggest that you take your business to a professional and honest company.

Melanie was on time, polite and very professional. She drove carefully and we arrived at each destination safely. Two minor things we noticed were that it was hard to change the radio channels because the touch screen didn’t work well. We tried to connect to blue tooth but our I-phones requested a pin #? We had also asked for ice and there was none in the limo.

My 18-year-old daughter was flying from NH to Columbia, SC - transferring in Charlotte - to head to orientation at University of South Carolina. Long story short, weather caused the rerouting and delaying of her plane, causing her to miss her flight (last of the night) to Columbia. I looked into car services to get her there, and due to the high reviews chose A Step Above. They did not disappoint. Within minutes of my online query, I had friendly and helpful assistance from Latoya in their office and a lovely, safe ride lined up for my daughter by the time she arrived in Charlotte. The staff was incredibly helpful and efficient - and I am incredibly grateful for their quick work and cheerful assistance. Wouldnt hesitate to use their services again or recommend them to anyone who asks! Thank you for calming and assisting a mom whose daughter was on her first solo trip!!

Our driver Melanie was awesome! She was extremely nice and was there on time and we had a pleasent trip back to our hotel. We give her 5 stars! The company we give 3-4 stars, there was a bit of difficulties with some communication. We are attributing this to the COVID pandemic. Overall we would recommend their services

We called Step Above to get to a surgical appointment at 5:30 am, that meant a car at my door at 4:30 am! The car arrived early! Sal was kind, friendly and personable at 4:30 in the morning! Wow! The car was lovely, expertly driven and we arrived with time to spare! The best part was our wonderful driver. I would definitely call Step Above for any transportation needs. Professional, timely and friendly. Unlike other ride services used in the past this was a stellar experience from reservation to arrival!

I was a chauffeur with step above limo. I liked driving the sedans because the bigger vehicles ac didnt work well in the summer time. I have several text msgs where I had to request the owner fix my check (which he did). Although it was a headache to cont asking for a payroll correction, I continued to work there. I enjoyed chauffeuring. What finally brought it to an end was when money was deducted from my check by his reservationist and the owner has refused to correct this error. Being employed by this company, Ive seen and heard some very poor behaviors from him and his office staff. I wouldnt recommend using this company or being employed by this company. Just in the last year, several reservationist have tried working there and quit in short order...hmmm wonder why?

Superb Customer Service, Excellent Professional Staff, Exquisite Experience!

The WORST limo service company ever!! They dont deserve any star if I can I will definitely give them ZERO star. We made a reservation for April 21st for prom. I called them several times and emailed them more than twenty times to confirm our reservation. I got a confirmation email and even an email from their staff saying my reservation is all set.And I even got a trip reminder on the day of prom. HOWEVER, no one showed up on our scheduled trip to prom. We didnt see the limo or the driver. So I contacted the driver several times then he finally picked up. He claimed his company cancelled our trip. I didnt get any notification of the cancellation. The only thing I got is several confirmation email. So I called the company. They put a maneger on the phone. He made up the whole story about they sent me the cancellation email which I definitely did not receive. He was extremely rude and had no clue about customer service on the phone. He accused its all my fault because I should call them on the day of the trip. But no one told me to do so in any ways. I asked home to forward the email he claimed they sent to me and he never did because that email isnt exist!!! They didnt even try to solve the problem, they just claimed its all my fault and there is anything they can do. THIS COMPANY HAS NO CLUE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE OR DIGNITY AND ALL THE STAFF MEMBERS ARE EXTREMELY RUDE AND CLUELESS. If you dont want to ruin your special occasion, Im telling you never hire this company. Theyre good at ruining everything accusing everything is customers fault, and lying.

I used this limousine service and was very impressed by the service! The office staff was very polite and the chauffeur was punctual and accommodating to my ever changing itinerary. I needed to use the service all weekend from the moment I landed on Friday to when I was departing on Monday and did not encounter a single issue. The best part was when I called to make a change on Saturday, the office staff let me know about their app which made it so much easier to book. It took less than a minute for me to punch in the remaining trips for my weekend. I travel for work all the time and know how frustrating it can be when you have to worry about your travel arrangements in other cities, but with the convenience and the service that A Step Above provided, I will definitely be using them every time I am in Charlotte.

Our company CBI Workplace Solutions used Step Above Limousine for transportation of our group to the YMCA Community Prayer Breakfast in Charlotte. In Five Words: punctual, pristine, proactive, pleasant and personal.

We were quoted and emailed a contract for $54 each way in total, tip included, from the airport. We got the CC bill and they charged us $72 one way and $66 on the return trip! We called them on it and they said the $54 was a mistake and too cheap, sorry. Never contacted us prior to charging us and cant seem to understand why we would be upset!We have have called them 3 times. Use someone else!
