I love going to Claudias. The staff is always very friendly and personable. They are all knowledgeable about each service they offer and are not pushy at checkout trying to get you to buy extra products.The waxing services are great. Ive been to other salons where they just rip the wax, but staff at Claudias will apply a little pressure after the initial wax to help with the pain which is great especially if you have sensitive skin. They make you feel comfortable and also have packages you can purchase to get discounted service rates if you plan on going back again.

Ana is amazing! She always does an excellent job & makes the process of getting waxed as pleasant as possible with her awesome personality and professionalism. I absolutely swear by getting waxed...it is so worth it and I save so much time not having to shave every day! I would highly recommend Ana to anyone wanting to get waxed. The owner Silvania is also wonderful, very professional & accommodating and the receptionists are always very nice and helpful.

It was my first time so I’m being understanding; however; I still had noticeable hairs after my wax. I’m thinking it’s because I was very much hairy, and she did the best she could. But for the amount of money I just hope to be completely hairless when I go back. I don’t mind going again. My next appointment is in one month, so hopefully I won’t be as hairy and I’ll leave with no visible hairs at all.

Everytime I visit Brazilian Wax and Spa by Claudia I am impressed by how fast, yet thorough their staff is. They are knowledgeable, nice, and really GOOD at what they do. I’ve been to other waxing salons in town and have had bad experiences. I will never go anywhere other than Claudia’s for as long as I live in the Charleston area.

I love Christina at Claudia’s and she is fantastic. I haven’t used other professsionals there bc I have been so happy with her but I have a feeling everyone is great. Fast and almost painless, no body shaming at all and when you take it all off from toe to .... they get the job done. My pro switches from wax to sugar based on my sensitive skin areas...seriously top notch. It’s a bit more $$ than other places but worth it. I just went in after a massive knee surgery and they helped me navigate that and end up with the perfect full wax.

Love the spa but have not been able to get a call into them all day! All it does is say call failed. Tried to go to a different location in my city but this location didn’t put my package on my account so now I have to go pay when I’ve already bought five services. Super inconvenient this location needs to get it together.

I really wish I could give more than five stars on this review. I had an amazing first experience and I honestly dont think Ill EVER shave again.I booked my appointment a couple weeks in advance, to be sure I was seen by Ali (shes amazing, so Ive heard). I wasnt disappointed.I was very nervous going in, but the receptionist was very kind and showed me where the restroom was located. Afterwards, Ali came to show me to the room where I was going to get my Brazilian. She told me it was great that I wore a dress, because all I needed to do was lift it up and remove my underwear.When she came back in we started chatting, and it was like I was talking to a close friend. She made me feel so comfortable and that helped relieve my nerves a bit.She told me when she started that the wax might feel a bit warm and she told me to let her know if it felt uncomfortable. It wasnt hot though (not to me at least). It felt kinda nice.She used a cream wax that doesnt require strips of paper, or fabric over top. She only had to wait a moment for it to dry, before she could pull it off in one go. Honestly, I barely felt a pinch from it and I didnt even flinch. I was amazed! I actually said to her, Did you just do a strip?! She was pressing on the spot and replied,Yes, do you feel okay? I was stunned! I barely felt anything at all!She continued with the Brazilian and we held a steady conversation the whole time. She even went in and plucked out the stubborn hairs that broke off with some amazing tweezers(which I bought a pair of).After three weeks I still have very little hair growth (I pluck out most of what I can see with my new tweezers) and Zero irritation. I dont think Ill ever use a razor down there again! I wish I wouldve discovered this sooner! FIVE STARS!

My husband and I bought a Groupon to get a couples massage here. It was the BEST massage we have had in a long time. They were very professional and friendly and they made the entire experience enjoyable. They just opened a salon and spa in mount pleasant next to my apartment complex and I will probably be going here soon to get a brazilian wax.

Every time I come in, Im always treated like a queen! Ive had bad experiences with 2 other wax companies, but I fell in love with Brazilian Wax & Spa by Claudia my first visit a few years ago and Ive been a regular ever since! I especially love the followup call I get every month when its time for my wax appointment. Despite knowing its time to get waxed by my hair growth, I really rely on their calls to keep me on track.Recently I added my eyebrows to my wax routine and I couldnt be happier. All of the estheticians go above and beyond in the service they provide. Ive always been weird about my brows and I have some trust issues when it comes to other people doing them (Ive been plucking them myself for almost 15 years), but the past 3 times (including the first time letting someone wax them) have been great!Im always recommended products, especially when my already troublesome ingrown hairs seem a little worse. Unfortunately, even though Ive used the bump and ingrown serum religiously for a little over a year now, it doesnt really work for me. Ive also tried the aphrodisiac serum, and while its great for some moisturization (and the pleasant smell), Im not sure it helps much either. The post wax serum is amazing though! After my first eyebrow wax, I had some bumps (as was expected thanks to the wonderful esthetician warning me), so the second time I got the post wax serum and no post wax bumps! I also love the sponge soaps! Im so happy that youre offering more scents (I love the tea tree) and the new shape (despite being a little less soap) really helps you keep a better hold of it in the shower.Thanks for being such an amazing business and I will continue be a loyal customer!

Ive been in Charleston for quite some time but never tried Brazilian wax before so some one gave a coupon last month foe a wax and it was done really well! the hair took for ever to grow out again and it was less painful than any other time i had it done. so went back for a facial and a massage and it was amazing!! it was so relaxing and my face was so smooth!! definetly recommend this place!!

This was the most disappointing and disorganized place I have EVER gotten my eyebrows waxed! I moved from Summerville to James Island and was looking for a new local eyebrow waxing place. I called and made my appointment. When I got there, there was a man in front of me trying to check out and he was having issues with services being found on computer when he was trying to pay and leave. I was the only other person in there, early for my appointment. Another woman, showed up 10 minutes after me for same appointment time and person I was seeing and got in before me. We were double booked. She got called in, I had to wait. When I called and booked appointment I said for eyebrow wax, when there receptionist asked if I was there for lip wax, no. When I finally saw Christina, she asked if I was there for bikini wax? No, again. I talked to her about waxing and tweezing, how I liked it... Halfway thru, after some waxing, because my eyes were closed while she was working, she started doing that threading technique that I dont like without telling me she was about to do that or asking me if I was ok with that. When she said Im done, I asked if she was going to put aloe on for redness and puffiness. I have always had that. She said no, she said she put oil on me before she started. I guess I can look past that. Each place is different I guess. But when I left and looked at myself in mirror. I had wax pieces left all stuck to my face. I guess she doesnt clean that up either. So horrible! Worse experience I have ever had! Im sure I wont get a response from a manager or an owner so I guess I am just venting to myself and anyone else who wants to read this long horrible review.

Wonderful and clean, superb experience

Showed up to my appointment, they said they had no appointment scheduled for me but could take me anyway. I told the woman at the desk I had a prepaid package, she said to just go back and she would figure it out. When I came out she said I had no history in the computer of any packages! I had to pay full price when I know for a fact that I had two eyebrow waxes left! I will NEVER go back to any of their locations. What a scam!

Great experience every time I go! Never disappointed!

I sustained second degree burns during eyebrow waxing session. Both eyelids are angry and red, and one lid is swollen with a huge fluid-filled blister. My eyelids are so swollen, my vision is blurred. Waiting for corporate office to call me back, but I am not at all happy....5 hours later, still no return call from the corporate office.
