The manager, Jon, greeted the cars as we arrived. He was welcoming, friendly, and took great care of us! We stopped by on our honeymoon and the car wash did a phenomenal job removing our chalk paint from the windows. The free powerful vacuums allowed us to vacuum out all the sand from my car before continuing our honeymoon in SC. Highly recommend for anyone in the area! The community is fortunate to have a great car wash with a manager who truly values his customers, paying attention to detail, and ensuring each car is better than when it entered.

I have always had a good experience at this location, but today was above and beyond. The manager (I am assuming because he is usually there), who is always super nice, noticed my license plate was hanging because it was missing a screw. I am not sure if this happened before or after the wash - but either way, he came over on his own and reattached it for me. So kind and certainly nothing he HAD to do! Very much appreciated it!

Thus carwash is quick and efficient. My son loves all the colors and soap. There is spray and rags and vacuums you can use after the wash which is great! My only complaint is there were scratches on my roof after the wash.

Good prices, very neat to drive through, and everything is straight forward. Customers can choose to vacuum their vehicle, and this is free of charge! Spray bottles of window washing liquid are provided free of charge as well. Wish the wash was a bit better, but no automatic car wash will completely clean your vehicle quite like a good hand washing.Also worth noting: If you drive a truck, the wash tends to miss the tailgate and back of bed.

Didn’t realize the is is a self service car wash. They only have window cleaner to clean interior with. I wouldn’t have gone here if I had known i would be cleaning my own car for 2 hours. (It was a mess with dog hair). They didn’t check on me the entire time I was there. Not my style of car wash. I won’t be back unless I just need a wash. I don’t recommend for interior especially if you have kids or pets. I don’t think the vacuums work well

Chose this place because the brushes don’t mess with the soft cover of the truck bed. I feel more comfortable running my truck through here.

Google did not specify that this was a do it yourself car wash. It was alright, there were attendees there. You go thru the auto wash first then to the do it yourself dry and vacuum areas. They provide towels and an air freshener and 2 interior vinyl wipes.

Great price! Quick and easy. I do wish the attendant would have given my front bumper some attention, cause it is covered in bugs, but I wanted to get rid of all of the pollen, and it did that. She is shinning!

Damaged upper back glass causing etching horizontal lines and black scratches along back spoiler. The company manager clearly stated their cleaning brushes hit horizontal, then with an upward motion before seeing this damage. (See pictures of how their brushes hit). You can clearly see how this exactly matches the damage. Before bringing it up to the manager’s attention, the employees said it was possible that the brushes picked up a fish line or wire from a truck bed. It’s unfortunate considering I was a regular costumer with an AAA PLUS GOLD membership. They refuse to take responsibility for this.

I am member. Disappointed. West Askey used to close at 8 or so like others in city. Now 6.I understand if you had full service wash but question membership now.

They are experiencing some setbacks regarding reduced hours because of covid-19 as well as some equipment that doesnt function properly. In the last month they have been closed when I have driven by three out of four weeks. Machines do a decent job and the staff is really friendly. They do have other locations and Ive only experienced these problems at the location on Savannah Highway.

We have been on a road trip up and down the east coast. We was our car alot on these trips. This is by far the best car wash for the money we have found. For $8...the car was thoroughly washed; the free vacuums, window wash spray and CLEAN towels to hand dry were an added bonus. Best deal for the $ on the east coast.

This is a fintastic premium car wash. I first tried the Time to Shine down the road but it didnt even touch the back of my hatchback which was quite disappointing. FINS does an excellent job on every square inch of my car. Ive found that your car gets drier if you let the conveyor completely push your car out the end rather than hitting the gas when the light turns green.The monthly wash club is an incredible deal. With AAA membership, the basic wash does a great job and is only $13/mo. After the wash there are always plenty of clean microfiber cloths and powerful vacuums available. Ive never taken such good care of my car.

Being a busy woman with endless duties and responsibilities I was excited to receive a gift card for a car wash from my fiance! Fins Car Wash was so much more than I expected with its automated systems that caress and clean, not scratch, every curve of my vehicle with attendants visible at every stage from entrance to exit. It was after 7 pm, almost dark, when I got there and I felt safe with the generous lighting and visible employees. Fins is open until 9 pm and offers free vacuum facilities with your paid car wash! I will definitely be back.

This is a fantastic car wash, with great towel stations, an automatic floor mat cleaner, and clean facilities. Its quick, easy, and great for that quick wash to keep things clean.

Clean and new. Works great. This is not a touchless carwash but it will not scratch your paint. They have caning supplies and vacuums to finish your vehicle after the wash. Recommend!

Fins car was is great - for what it is! Its great for an everyday car wash without a lot of frills and hoopla. The monthly membership option is also great! It is *not* your best option if you need extra services like detailing.

This new automated car wash does a very good job cleaning your car, leaving a nice shine with the top wash choice. I would rate it the best of any automated car wash I have experienced in Charleston. A nice touch is the free super auction vacuums (self-service) that are available. One area that needs a bit of improvement is wheel cleaning. It did a good job on the wheels of one of my cars, but left my wife’s wheels very dirty.

Great place! The car wash did a good job, they had strong vaccums, towels/cleaner, and even a car mat cleaner. Not to mention the very helpful and friendly staff! They are doing a great job and I will definitely be using them again!

I just cleaned my car last Sunday & my feelings havent changed. That was my first time going to a car wash that has a floor mat cleaning machine 😃. Again, Fins is my favorite 🚗 car wash hands down!!

We have the monthly membership there. Because our bike rack was blocking our license plate we could not get in. The attendant working did nothing to help us just watched us struggle canceling our membership asap

Simple, easy perfection! No one rubs dirty water onto your car before you enter the bay and no big shabby dryer at the end to mess up your luggage rack. You wont regret switching. It is Fintastic!!

I guess I was expecting more for $18 for the wash but I will say my car did come out pretty clean overall. If I lived closer I would probably get the cheapest monthly subscription and then go through it often to keep my car clean.

I love this place! You can really get away with the middle car wash though. Vacuums work great, and they have a Rhino Mat machine quick wash/dry your car mats in under two minutes. Super 😎

Great deal. Unlimited washes for 40 a month (less if AAA member) you do vac, can drive through in 3 minutes. Gets clean and dry.

This car wash always has issues. Only one entry position open and part of the vacuum are shut off. Worst find I have ever been to.

Ok other choices out there that are better.

This was our last, but not last time at Fins! We couldnt believe how quick we went through the wash and then the free vacuum stations, there were many, perfect for social distancing. The power was amazing. Then we saw the glass cleaner and microfiber cloths for more cleaning!

Tried this one place one day I was in WA as I live on JI. Got car (4 door sedan) clean with $8 basic wash, WAY more clean the old ones on James Island. THEN the free vacuum is awesome (sucks really good) and you have a choice of detail vacuum tool or regular vacuum head (VW hard to get sand out carpet but I got most of it out for first time!), use of awesome microfiber cloths & window spray, FREE mat cleaner machine. My VW mats are sometimes impossible to get clean - these got extremely clean in less than 2 minutes. I got my car looking amazing DIY for $8. The vacuum alone for free has had me return multiple times and drive over.

Fins Car Wash on Savannah Highway in West Ashley is a great place to get your car washed and cleaned. My car gets really dirty and I do not always have the time to get it cleaned, but Fins makes it super easy and convenient to get everything done quickly and for a good value. I was satisfied with the service and all the work they put in on my car.

Fast car wash that was effective. Love the mat cleaning station and free vacuuming.

Quick and efficient. Complimentary vacuums with two different heads and complimentary mat cleaning machine that you can use with or without water. Staff was courteous and were wiping down vacuums between customers. Highly recommend!

Planning on joining! So cool that the wash system is continuous, which really minimizes waiting for the car in front of you. Having free vacuums, window cleaner and rags, and a mat washer afterwards is awesome.

The top wash was okay. Still had spots on my car after the wash. The Vacuums worked very well. I will probably not go back, as I look at the spots on my car. The other new place up Savannah Highway is more expensive but the car always looks great.

Solid place. Wish they had those air compressor guns but its still where I always go.
