Amazing staff. Beautiful barber shop. Most importantly, amazing cut.

Having recently moved to Charleston from the Boston area, I have been struggling to find my new hometown barber. After visiting Cory today I know I have found the one. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable as well as just a fun time to chat with and I cant complain about the prices either. My girlfriend said it was the best looking haircut/beard trim Ive gotten since moving south so I guess that passes the test as well. Overall, I will be sure to be booking with Cory again in the future.

Made an appointment to get my haircut on lunch. MY BARBER HADNT EVEN SHOW UP YET. It was almost 10 minutes after my appointment was scheduled and I rushed to the location to not hold SANDY up and she wasn’t there and clearly wasn’t set up to work yet. The lady who greeted me at the front simply just told me she wasn’t there yet and that was it. No accountability. Barely any parking. As a Veteran, I expect a veteran owned business to express punctuality and timeliness with their employees but I guess not at DI Barber shop. Charleston area is the WORST for haircuts. Prices are either 55 bucks a cut with beard trim or great clips.

Scheduled an 07:00 appointment, showed up at 06:57. I was informed that stylist doesnt come in until 07:30. Why have appointments then? Entirely unprofessional.

$16 regular men’s cut $12 child’s cut. Not expensive at all. Relatively cheap considering the area actually. Other salons on Daniel island are about $30 for a men’s cut.

Fantastic experience! Sick of walking out of sports clips or great clips and feeling like I just got a 5 minute haircut. The staff was friendly and inviting as soon as I walked in. I loved that I could call that morning and set up an appointment time. Plus, my hair looks great with the finest detail I have seen in awhile. Thanks guys! Will definitely be back in a few weeks. Great barbers. Friendly and talented. A true asset to Daniel Island.

Worst hair cut in 36 years of life. Went home to correct side burn that was butchered to the top of my ear the other 3/4 ths of a inch uneven. Paid. Gave him a 33% tip. Left. Will never return. Have not been able to look in mirror. Just a awful experience I really cant even describe. I asked about styling products he recommended because I was planning to buy something he said I dont recommended any, wear a hat. Wow. Everyone has stuff going on and he was obviously preoccupied, but finally going to fix what is left of my hair & this has been bother me for over a week...as a local guide I must post

Genuinely worst hair cut I’ve ever had. Uneven fade, hair left around ears, bangs ALL messed up. I wish I had refused to pay. Go to literally any other barber in Mt P or downtown.

Ariel hooked me up with a top-notch haircut and beard trim. The whole staff was friendly, had bubbly chit-chat and jokes. Pleasant spot. Good value for a quality cut. Will definitely go back!

Just got my 3rd cut from DIBS. Ive had Joetta and Michael cut my hair and both did a fantastic job. Michael cut my hair today and I went in knowing what I wanted. I told Michael I had a family wedding coming up and I wanted to look sharp. He advised on what he thought I should do and I am extremely thankful for that and glad I took his advise because the cut looks better than what I usually get. The entire staff is friendly and happy which makes a huge difference. I knew I found my new barber when I noticed them double/triple checking their work. Keep up the good work DIBS!!!

Great haircut, fast, and inexpensive price

We have two small boys that need haircuts about once a month. We wouldnt dream of taking them anywhere else. We have had wonderful experiences with every barbor that has helped us. They are friendly patient and great with kids. My husband also gets his hair cute here. He always looks great when theyre done!

Sandy is an incredible barber. Ive had my last 10 haircuts with her. Shes friendly, professional and knows her way around a pair of scissors. Everyday my girlfriend tells me how handsome I am and I always give all the credit to Sandy :)

Monica gave me the best beard trim that Ive ever had. Usually I can trim my own beard, but I was just passing through the city and didnt have my clippers with me. Monica went all out and gave me the personal touch that others dont. I highly recommend using Monica!!

Im a little old fashion in what I want in a barber shop. I like to see what the barber is doing while they are cutting my hair so that I can make suggestions along the way. However, this shop is setup so that the customers face away from the too high mirrors. Yes, you can see yourself in the mirror across the room, but that is too far away.Their waiting area consists of only two metal chairs and a wooden bench, with no magazines in sight. Fortunately on my two visits I did not have to wait, nor did anyone else have to wait too long. Their prices are similar to other barber shop in the area. I wish that they would go back to being a barber shop and not a salon.

LaMonica cut my sons hair and she did a great job!! Very accommodating, they take walk-ins. Exactly what you want from a barber shop.

All of the stylist here are professional and talented with Michael Pringle being the highest recommended. Definitely recommend. A bit more than great clips but you get what you pay for!

Needs improvement in the facilities. Start with a comfortable couch to wait in. And online booking is a must. Always a random person cutting your hair.

My girlfriend called in days in advance to arrange a shave for my birthday. She wanted to make an appointment and was told they don’t take reservations, but to come around 1-130. We did. Walked in and there was no one there. We asked for the shave and were told they couldn’t do it now because 2 of the barber’s FRIENDS were coming. So they say they don’t take appointments and it’s first come, first served. That’s a lie, but apparently your friends take priority over a customer who’s already there . Awful customer service. Look elsewhere. I hope you have enough friends to keep you in business.

I think they have trainees or cosmetology students cutting hair now. I went when they first opened and got a good haircut. Went twice since and was disappointed both times. There are better choices....just not convenient to Daniel Island. Disappointing because we need a good barber shop.

I have the lady that cut my hair very specific instructions and she seemed to understand very clearly. I asked her to give me a small trim and keep the back longer than the front. My hair is now the exact opposite of what i asked. Iwent into the shop at 1:00pm and left at 2:40pm (there was no wait). The blonde headed lady even stated that she does not even have her barbers license yet. I will never spend another penny in that barbershop.

They do great job for a very reasonable price and are super friendly. Comfortable.

Terrible service. 8 or 9 stations and only 2 people working at a time. They yelled at me and told me noMore walk-Ins when they still had 2 more hours untilClosing.

Good price and professional, BUT 8 seats, 2 workers and no reservation accepted make this place an realistic option unless your willing to wait hours.
