Ive been coming here for over 3 years and have always enjoyed the experience. The ladies always are able to fit me in and fulfill my requests. My nails always last a long time. I never feel rushed when there is a wait or crowd.

I have been going to this nail salon for 4 years and they never disappoint. The staff is always polite and offer me drinks and snacks. Spa like atmosphere. I have been getting SNS Manicure (power) and I always get compliments. I highly recommend!

Tony is it!!! My nails have never been healthier. Extremely professional and talented. He is definitely Dr.Nails! The best place I’ve visited since relocating from New York!! Definitely recommend.

I asked the nail technician to trim the nails down a bit and shape my nails into an almond shape. She kept making them square and messing them up until they were shorter than I wanted them to be. The nails she shaped are crooked, pointing in random directions. My right hand nails are longer than my left hand nails. I asked her to buff/shine my nails with no paint. Theyre not that shiny. Ive never had someone do such an awful job with something so simple. Im very disappointed with her work and I feel like I wasted my money going there. I do not recommend this place.

This is the most prettiest salon in which I was, because I came yesterday at 7 pm to get my nails done, I showed her how I want, she said okay, but she did not do what I ask and they also broke my nail and said that it was my fault and there i began to cry because it was very painful for me, she offered to do it and it was not easy to sit there it was really painful I don’t know how those people can still work and hurt another people and most upset was that she even did apologise to me. I would have fined such people and dismissed them for such a terrible treatment of clients

My second time going and Tony provided top notch service. He did an excellent job, and I plan to return. Great place.

I visited this salon in early february and got a gel pedicure. the staff was seemingly nice however the quality of the pedicure was poor as the polish chipped and wore at the edge. the entire point of a GEL pedicure is so this won’t happen. i would go to this establishment for gel pedicures

Me and my mom got mani-pedis here and felt like VIPs! Tony really takes his time when he’s doing your nails to make sure it lasts long! I’ve never had such a thorough nail care experience. I will definitely come back here again and recommend other people do the same!

My favorite nail salon because they are like family! Tammy is my favorite for my nails and Tony is the best for pedicure and manicure! Ask for “Dr. Nail.” He is the best!!!!

The owner (Tuyet) was very friendly and did an amazing job with my manicure and pedicure. The prices were also very reasonable and the service was impeccable. My husband and I felt very welcome especially when we had to stay longer due to the storms outside. I highly recommend this professional place to everyone.

3 Person ReviewI had nail artist Nina. She wasnt very talkative or sociable which I didnt mind. What I did mind was that she didnt ask me any questions related to how I want my nails shaped. She just went ahead a did it her way. I do not recommend getting Nina since she was very rough with my cuticles causing 7 out of 10 of them to bleed and scab up. It hurt so much and still does! I will definitely not be getting her if I do decide to go back.My sister had nail artist Tammy. She had a lovely experience and experienced no pain. Tammy kept up a great conversation with her and my sister was overall very satisfied.My mom had a pedicure done and was also overall satisfied. We all appreciated the drinks and snacks provided to us, it made the whole experience a bit more luxurious.Conclusion: Get Tammy over Nina

Stopped in here on a Sunday morning with no appointment and was able to get a pedicure right away. Good selection of options and decent prices (well, competitive with other prices I’ve seen in the area, anyway), good assortment of polish choices. I had a spa pedicure and it was wonderful - especially the foot and leg massage. I will definitely be back here!

I love seeing Nina! She has been doing my nails for over a year now and I’m so happy I found her! I had been trying different places and just wasn’t happy with the results. Nina always takes her time to make sure my nails look perfect. I’m never disappointed.

Went in to take my niece for a manicure - her first one. I didnt catch the name of the technician who did her nails, but they came out beautifully! Nina did mine, and I her gel application is *flawless* super attentive to making sure cuticles are clean and gel doesnt get onto the skin! She took her time and did a great job!

This is my go to when I need my eyebrows waxed. I’ve always gotten them done by Mai and she’s always done a fabulous job... now I get them done by Tammy and let me tell you... she is so gentle, so sweet and does an awesome job as well! This is the only salon that doesn’t screw up my eyebrows!

Tammy did manicures for my young daughters and myself. I am extremely pleased with her work. Plus, she is a delight to be with. Very sweet. Highly recommend this nail salon.

Just took my parents here for the first time. Great service and competitive pricing. Both parents loved it. Would recommend to anyone. They really take their time with the spa pedicure. We went in around 9:15a and didnt leave till around 10:45. And all they got was a spa pedicure and manicure. Will definitely be back. Im just thrilled my dad had a great first impression. A much needed pampering for the two of them.

Love this nail salon! I have been going here for several months now for gel manicures and could not be happier with the service. Everyone is so friendly and makes sure to take their time so your nails turn out exactly how you want them to. Out of all of the nail salons I have been to in the area, this is by far the best. I have been going to Romancing the Nails for almost 20 years. The owner, Mai, is wonderful! She does an outstanding job and is always so friendly. I have never had a bad experience in this store. The gel pedicures are amazing and are my newest guilty pleasure. Ive gotten acrylic nails as well as solar nails. I get compliments on my nails all the time and I owe it all to Romancing the Nails! The prices are wonderful, too! I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Mai did a wonderful job. I was very pleased with her work and also how extremely nice she was and she had great customer service. She was very patient, did exactly what I asked for, and made me walk out smiling ear to ear. She exceeded my expectations and I would recommend her to anybody. She is worth traveling to get your nails done also.

I had a couple hours to waste so decided to get my nails and toes done. This place is the best nail salon I have ever went to. The ladies were nice, professional, and took their time to make sure their work was perfect. I enjoyed it so much I decided to use their wax services too which they were clean and fast. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

I went here instead of my regular salon because I was waiting on some auto work at a shop in the same plaza. I walked in around 11:45 and there were no other customers so Nina was able to start working on me right away. I got a gel manicure done, after removing gel polish from my last manicure. Nina was very friendly and quic and my nails turned out great. It was a little pricier than my regular shop, but convenient for me today. It was difficult to find using walking directions because the map marker was in the wrong location but that should be updated now!

I got my nails done here today by Mai. My experience was amazing from the time I walked in. They are very professional and she took her time to make sure that my nails were perfect. I tried a different shape on my nails for the first time and she gave me her opinion and when I told her I didnt want them to long she made them just the right length. If you are looking for a new nail salon or one to go to in the area I highly recommend it! I went to another nail salon in the area when we first moved here a month ago and my nails were poorly done. Small place and a little hidden, but TOTALLY worth the visit. Recommend making an appointment (day before or even earlier the same day is fine) so you dont end up waiting. Can only work on about 3 people at once. The prices are fantastic and the quality is also fantastic! Will DEFINITELY be coming here again!

Best Nail Salon I have ever had the experience to go to. I will never go anywhere else. I was welcomed with open arms and treated like I was family.On my first time stopping in, was few hours before closing and I got a pedi and full set gel. Before deciding to go with gel like I have in the past I asked to know more about the other nail options besides gel and acrylic. Mai took the time to explain each one and was patient with me and so kind. My nails were so beautiful and perfect and received so many complaints when out from strangers. I also got a pedi and my feet and toes have never looked or felt so good. When I came in I was tense and stressed and when I left I was relaxed and happy. I’m on my third visit and each time has been just as amazing and spectacular and always leaving feeling great and loving my nails, and feeling beautiful. Definitely recommend you come by and visitRomancing Nails !!!!!!

I’m kind of offended...I went with low expectations because I can’t seem to find a great nail salon in NOVA that’s also not gonna rip me off for getting a full set of acrylics. It started off okay, she asked me what nail shape I want and I assumed that it wasn’t extra because she didn’t mention it and it was going great until she finished...the nails were crooked and were not the same length and barely resembled the coffin shape. She said it was $30 dollars and I didn’t have enough cash so I gave her $25 and put the rest on the card, and she charged me $10 more on the card! I’m shocked and disappointed, I noticed after I left that she filed so rough that the sides of my nails are raw and it’s not pretty at all. Definitely go somewhere.

I have been going to Romancing the Nails with Mai and team for 10 years now. They perform high quality, fairly priced work in a relaxed, cleanly setting and its not a factory experience like so many of the shops these days. Try it!

I decided to try Romancing the Nails a couple of months ago - after trying several salons in the area (Fair Lakes/Chantilly/Centreville) and having bad experiences. From my very first visit to my most recent visit - Mai does an amazing job. She is very thorough with my gel nails and has my fave OPI gel polish. My nails last more than 2 weeks and still look fantastic. I will continue to visit Romancing the Nails. Strongly recommend!

Rude host. .. Says she was very busy and couldnt give us service, a white woman walked in 2 min before my fiance and I and there was no issue giving her sevice. I guess the color of our skin scared them lol... The good thing is that we found a very professional place Chantilly nail spa, upscale and comfortable, upgrade from the small run down romancing nail place.

Dont have enough people to do designs or to help you they always say 30 mins then it turns into a hour or longer to get helped....

Good service for a decent price.

I got a mother-daughter mani/pedi with my little girl. The finished product was good, but my daughters services were done in 25 minutes, and she had to wait on me another 35. It was my Mothers Day gift to go on a date with her, just the two of us, so I felt bad she had to just sit and wait on me for most of it. I am also concerned that at my daughters station, as well as the two others I had, obviously used nail files were being reused. I was too shocked to say anything at the time, but it makes me wonder if the other utensils were properly cleaned. I watched my daughters foot bath and chair being cleaned after her services, and everything was wiped down and rinsed, except the files, which remained. The staff was so nice, so I hate to give a poor review. But I cannot in good conscience go back, especially with a child in tow. Its a matter of health and safety.

Salon under new ownership as of 07/01/18 no longer allowed to add tip on charge. Remains to be seen what other changes are in store.
