This was my first time staying at this property, and it has been AMAZING to say the least. The room was beautiful and clean, very homey and the breakfast and room service that they provide is top notch. I would recommend to anyone thinking about staying for a couple of days as this is one of the best hotels out there. Needless to say, I will be back!
Came for a workshop and was pretty disappointed by a few things. First, they stopped serving coffee at 10:30 am...on a Sunday. So, none in the workshop and none to purchase unless we wanted to purchase a gallon for the class. So...I did but shouldnt have had to. Then, the price of $90 that I was quoted went to over $115 after an $18 service fee then tax. Then there was a line for a tip....?At least the womens restroom needed more attention. In the stalls, there was a thick layer of dust on top of the metal dispensers...t.p., seat cover, etc. Dust...like these hadnt been wiped down in a while. Throughout the afternoon, the garbage next to the door was filling up fast and overflowing when we left at 5 pm. We were the only event in the area and were there 6 hours so I dont think anyone even came in to check on things during that time. Finally, I couldnt help but notice that the lower counter, at the registration desk, does have the required lower counter for those who use wheelchairs but it would be hard for a person to roll up under there to sign a receipt of something as there is a very large pot underneath. 😒We heard they were short staffed today but some of this may be atypical but all this??
Brand new Marriott. Very nice clean rooms. Nice lounge. Very helpful and friendly staff. Location is a little remote but good price
The hotel is fairly new, and interestingly built right next to native american land, inside of a business district. There is not much around here to do, a vehicle is a must. The view on the west side of the hotel is very interesting, overlooking a desert like area with mountains in the background. There is a Starbucks close by and the hotel bar looks decent. Most importantly, it is quiet, and even the A/C works well. I find the bathroom and the shower great too.
The room was very clean, and the Hotel was very accommodating, the Staff was helpful, great happy hour and I will consider another stay. Electric vehicle charging stations would be a plus level 1,2, and 3 DC fast charger 350kw for manufacturers doing that type of work and for customers with electric vehicles. Thanks!
We stayed at this location for six days. The closest place to walk to for food or drinks is a Starbucks across the street. They do have a simplified Starbucks service by the lobby in the mornings. You can even order breakfast there too. There’s a menu in the room for lunch and dinner.A car is needed if you stay here unless you Uber around town. It’s a good location if you have to go to one of the corporate offices in the area. The rooms were nice. We had a view of the west. The showers had the faucet well placed so you don’t get wet turning them on.The gym was empty the three times I’ve gone there to workout. The pool is next to it and outdoors, if you can bare the heat. (It had been averaging 108 degrees during our stay.) There we’re plenty of towels and wipes to wipe down the equipment before and after each use.The service was great. Housekeeping always were able to give us things as we needed them (e.g. towels, shampoo, etc…). We were asked if we needed to have our rooms tended to during out stay when we checked in but we figured we would ask for things as needed. We will return again when we come back to AZ. Thank you for a great stay!
The property grounds and landscaping were beautiful, easily a top ten in appeal. If rating on looks alone, this would be a book well judged. However, once I went further, I would never return to this facility. We arrived at location at 3:30, only 30 minutes prior to the stated check-in. The front desk clerk was friendly upon arrival and quickly went to work on our check in. We quickly noticed the trainee moniker on her name tag and gave her much, much grace to the very lengthy process. Eventually, she struggled enough that she had to call the manage, Jacinta, to help. Upon arrival, Jacinta threw attitude to the trainee as if she was incompetent. Red Flag #1 - dont leave a trainee at the front desk by themselves and then be annoyed they ask for help.Jacinta informed us that the rooms were not ready and check in was at 4 pm. At this point, it was 3:45 pm. NOTE - Jacinta checked in a party of 5 while the trainee assisted us and made no such comment to these guests. We advised we would wait at the pool in turn, Jacinta replied, great, well know where to find you at check-in (in 15 mins). At 4:05, I returned inside to check the progress of rooms and according to Jacinta, I was good luck and the rooms were cleared. Red Flag #2 - we expected a staff member would come to the pool to notify of room readiness as stated by the manager and Red Flag #3 - luck has nothing to do with a well maintained process. I indicated red flag #3 to Jacinta who replied, Im so sorry you had to wait those extra few minutes. So, lead staff management not only demonstrated her personal bias and micro-aggressions (quickly checked in a party of 5 white females and made 2 black females wait), she was condescending to her subordinate and patronizing to the guests. The rooms were decent, nothing special or unique. For a 4 pm check-in and 11 am check-out, not at all worth the money. The pool is much, MUCH smaller than it appears in pictures.overall, would not return nor recommend.
Wonderful hotel and staff! I frequent the Phoenix area for business 1-2x a month and since discovering the Marriott Phoenix Chandler location, I do not bother looking for other properties, I always will chose this hotel. Amazing location and several new buildings, restaurants, and attractions within 5 minutes. At the hotel, everything is new, very very clean, and very modern as I expect with Marriott properties. In the evening the restaurant and bar staff are very personable and provide great service and food/drink options. The pool area is very relaxing with great views of the mountains. I will be returning this week to the property and several other times in the next two months and always look forward to returning to the area while staying at this hotel.
Newer hotel, extremely clean. Very safe part of Phoenix. Excellent location (Chandler Mall 5 minutes away). Very good alternative to a stay in Phoenix area if you do not want to splurge several hundred dollars a night for 5 star resorts.
Nice, comfortable hotel. Rooms bright & clean. Kind staff members. Fair prices
Clean hotel as expected from a Marriott. Bar tender was excellent fast and accurate.
Pros: The room, hallways and lobby were all very clean, the beds were good, the TV was great...all high def channels. Everything feels new. Cons: We were disappointed in two things. There was no hot tub, which we were thinking should have been a given for a nice hotel, and is always something we enjoy. There was no continental breakfast, which is fine but would have been nice. Also, the bathroom is clean but small and there’s no way to lock the sliding door to the bathroom. Overall, this is a very nice hotel and worth staying at.
It was a nice Marriott. Pool was good and everything was clean and the staff friendly. My only pushback on 4 stars is that the Club lounge closed on the weekend and I wasn’t expecting that. Was expecting free breakfast daily. Had to adjust my expectations a bit. Additionally the bar/cafe had very limited hours. So, despite being a full service Marriott, it felt more like a courtyard to me. For context I travel to Marriotts a lot and have plantinum status so I’m able to compare to other full service Marriotts. Maybe it’s cause of covid, but it was hard to tell honestly. Realistically id give a 3.8 if I could. Front desk and housekeeping were great and no complaints there.
Very good customer service especially with the lady on the front desk her name is Thuyclean rooms and great service on the restaurant
Excellent all the way around. Easy to find lots of parking.
We loved staying here. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and environment was awesome, peaceful and calm. We will stay here again and again ❤
Lovely property. Staff was super friendly. The rooms are just the right size and very clean.
I will definitely be open to comeback...
Had a great time here and management was very accommodating for a special check- in for our anniversary.
Rooms nice, breakfast really limited.
It’s so good!!! Best hotel in this area!
My only complaint is about other guests while I was there, and it is unfair to slam a hotel for that.My room was beautifully appointed and had the most stunning view. The bed was like sleeping on a dream, the couch was lovely as was the lighting, the entire design was very well thought out, moder mid-century style! The toiletries were just great...ny hair was so shiny and my skin was so smooth.I work while on the road, so internet is VERY important to me. During my stay I had multiple video conferences and at no point was there any lag or times when I had yo turn off my camera. The staff...my goodness, what great customer service! When I asked if there was an adult swim time, the woman at the front desk offered me a beer and apologized. It legitimately was not a complaint-- I was happy laying in the cabanas children deserve yo have a nice time at the pool, too....but parents were sneaking kids in and having pool parties. I just wanted to swim laps. She addressed this yo the best of her ability and did a wonderful job balancing my needs and those of the other guests in a very challenging customer service situation. There is a bar, which is currently open, and that was a nice change! The hotel is located in an exoburb, so if you are planning on spending a lot of time in Phoenix proper, this is not the place for you. There are plenty of dining options around, but honestly, I never needed yo leave the property.
Great staff! Clean, comfortable, upscale, good food and drinks
Really nice place to escape to if you just need a break and want to just kinda hide out from everyday life, we all need that here and there,..
Very disappointing. We travel a lot and are platinum mariott bonvoy members. We stay in hotels atleast 10 days out of the month and i only stick with the marriott brand and this is a first id ever had felt the need to leave a review. The rooms were clean. Our toilet over flooded. The front desk lady named Thuy (asian lady, i believe thats her name)was unpleasant. She was a very fake nice. My mobile key never worked. The parking lot gets pretty filled. We requested towels and never got it. Had to go tonfront desk for it. Our garbage was never taken so we had to put it out side of our room door so it would not stink up our room (same with our dirty towels) and even then it took them a whole day to remove from that. A few more complaints that i dont feel like listing. Was looking forward to this hotel because i like the location. It is nice and new but can drfinitrly use some customer service and hospitality improvment. May be will give this hotel another try, likely nor. God rubbed the wrong way. On a brighter note. MRS. danielle at the front desk was exrtremely nice.I did
Nice area, lots of amenities close by, quiet & safe, beautiful hotel, clean, staff very friendly & accommodating, adequate parking, reasonably priced.
Very clean staff was very nice room was alittle small but well worth the price r
Friendly staff, clean rooms.Room service outstanding.
This place has been perfect! Room is clean, has everything you need, the staff is on call and welcoming. I called to see if they would bring up a coffee from the Starbucks they have in the lobby and with no hesitation they did! I’m injured so I can’t walk around much. I greatly appreciate it! Definitely recommend.
This place was amazing, just beautiful. The staff was amazing, friendly and informed about local activities. Clean, friendly and highly favored
We’re avid gym goers and loved the cleanliness of the gym. It was the best amenity by far. The rooms were just fine. AC blows super loud and kept me awake each night so that was unfortunate. It would have been nice to have microwaves IN the rooms instead of having a community microwave in the halls (especially in times of COVID).
Clean, new, loved the pillow fresheners! Masks were worn even if vaccinated in the lobby.
Well maintained property, conveniently located, friendly staff, and clean room.
Very pleasant stay for a dental conference. Rooms were very comfortable and service was excellent! Great job!
Very comfortable and good service. No complaints other then not having a jacuzzi 😁😁
They were so kind and helpful thru my stay during my wedding weekend
I would call this a budget Marriott hotel for a luxury price. Poor construction materials and low quality amenities and food/drink for a higher price (one drink = 40 dollars). Certainly not a good business hotel for one desiring to get any work done. Most guests were loudly congregating in halls unmasked with unsupervised children or in the bar area of lobby, no sense of enforcement for any covid protocols or respect for other guests. We could hear loud guests in rooms and halls due to poor sound insulation. Guys, the pandemic isn’t over until we all get vaccinated but no one seems to care. While staff were cordial, none appeared to want to be there or enjoy their work or were particularly positive. With so many options I would pick a nicer option if able as a business or family traveler.
If you value sleep dont come here. Most inconsiderate guests ever who lack common courtesy! People do the strangest things at night. Freaks sure do come out at night! And rooms could have been vacuumed better!
Man... where do i start? Positive first, staff is super kind!! Thats a 5 🌟The rest, not so great... swimming pool is horrible. Not like photo.. they will not clean your room, if you want them you have to use 1000 of your pts on marriott 🤦♀️ but why?? I understand covid but do it atleast once mid stay as complimentary. Thought that was weird... no complimentary breakfast but they do have an area you can snacks and drinks but its $15 a day. Kinda disappointing. Again, like i said staff was great but needs a lot client complimentary things.
Nice staff showed up late, got me in quickly, slept well really comfortable bed. Nice room, great shower and water pressure. Only negative I had was only decaf in the room and no coffee available downstairs. Young lady offered to get me some but there were other people waiting, just went to Northrop Grumman and then Starbucks across the street.
Spacious rooms, clean, and good water pressure. The staff was super accommodating.
Clean modern rooms. Nice touch with the small glass front fridge in the room. Marriott is my go to, can always count on an open bar and people to talk to!
I came to this hotel, at the end of Dec 2020, with my sister on very sad circumstances. My brother in law was in a terrible accident and we came from Tucson to be there close to chandler regional hospital. The hotel staff were all very kind every time we needed something. The Starbucks was closed and they gave my sister and I free access to the bonvoy room so we could get coffee when we needed it. They were so kind and understanding during a very difficult time. Cant ask for much more from a hotel! The normal things I expect (cleanliness, amenities, ect) exceeded my standards. Thank you to the manager who works the desk in the evening. She was the nicest person and I cant thank her enough. I believe her name was Juanita. Thank you Marriott!
We did not have a great hotel visit here. In the end, the whole experience felt unnecessarily expensive for a mediocre stay. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable (not too firm, which is my preference). Too many other issues, however, made for a subpar experience. After a long day, we opted to have some dinner at the hotel restaurant. While the staff was very friendly, my dinner was not good. It was a lot of money for a hot plate with lukewarm salmon and cold broccolini. Additionally, the dinner came with a cold quinoa salad filled with peppers, which I cannot stand. It was unfortunate for me that the menu did not note this, as I would have chosen differently just on that point. I ate the subpar salmon and vegetable because I was hungry, I was tired, and it was getting late to go elsewhere especially after spending a lot on this dinner. Our waitress offered another side dish but they were out of anything that sounded good to me. Because I was still hungry, my better half suggested I have some desert. So I ordered (and we paid for) tiramisu - again, a lot of money for a very small thing that tasted ok but nothing like tiramisu. Just a really disappointing and expensive experience.Disappointment continued when we went back to our room. The room darkening curtains would not close completely, despite many, many attempts to adjust, cajole and prod them into submission. This meant that we were bathed in a blue glowing light during the night and greeted very early by the sun in our east-facing room. The worst, however, was the bathroom door. It was a heavy glass sliding door that was incredibly difficult to move. I had to use two hands and all my weight to pull the thing closed. To my great chagrin, I could not get the door back open and was stuck in the bathroom. Thank goodness my better, and stronger, half was there - but if he had not been, I would have had a serious problem. This was not an inexpensive hotel room, and perhaps my expectations were too high for the Marriott brand - but I did not leave the next morning feeling rested, relaxed, or that we received good value for what we paid.
Most gracious and courteous professional staff work here. The rooms are clean. Shoutouts to Danielle, Jennifer and Ms. Truong at the front desk.
Very nice place. Clean, pretty and good service.
Dynamic, awesome & I will visit again + recommend others.
We took advantage of an AZ resident rate for a little getaway and really enjoyed our stay. The room was beautifully done and we loved the sectional couch for lounging and watching TV. Everything was spotless and I even noticed that togo containers in the hallway were picked up quickly. We stayed on the 7th floor and had a lovely view of the sunset. Our floor had an ice and water machine, and a microwave in a little nook behind the elevators. My husband went down to the bar and ordered a burger to bring back up to the room and had a great experience there. The prices for drinks and food are what you would expect for a hotel at this level. Limited menu at the bar but our cheeseburger and fries hit the spot.We didnt check out the pool, but look forward to trying that next time. Beautiful new hotel in Chandler!
Stayed here for 5 days with my family and 2 doggies. Great stay and friendly staff. No complaints at all!
No air conditioner in room. Changed rooms 3 times once @2am. For being new it’s not that nice.
We stayed on the club level and it was very nice we did not spring for the view so we overlooked the parking lot. The shower was great I am 61 and I love a shower that hits me on top of the head and this one was at leat 4 inches above my head. Ample work space and an outlet by the desk if you need itThere is only one outlet easily but I travel with a 6 USB charger so thats not a problem. The room was nice with 2 queen beds and the beds were comfortable. There was no disturbances from other guests so that was good. The staff was friendly and the building was clean. The M lounge was nice but.we overslept and missed breakfast and had to grab snacks, granola bars and water and soda si watch the hours of food service. The lounge was large with tons of outlets at all of the booths and was comfortable. Overall a very nice place to stay with your family or business in the Phoenix area
Great hotel I recommend you stay here
This is hotel youd want to stay regardless of this covid bs, the hotel staff and management were super amazing... I loved the rooms, the modern look, location, swimming pool, the gym. Basically its one of my favourite hotels in Chandler and one that I would definitely be going back to when I return. You will for sure enjoy your stay.
I liked this place a lot. Perfect.
Clean, comfortable and solid service. Hiccup during check-in process
Over priced on the services they are providing, no value of Marriott platinum membership.
Great place to go and stop while traveling
I love staying at Mariott hotels.
Great Location and very clean. Staff is helpful.
I would recommend this marriott to all my family and friends...Very nice and clean. The manager Juanita was fantastic we need more people like her to run a place like this and the bar guy was amazing kept us happy 😊 we all enjoyed our weekend here and next time we have a softball tournament we will be staying at this Marriott thank you guys 💯
Ill be back! Great service, clean hotel, and lovely pool and fire table.
Very Clean But The Employees Need 2 Work On Customer Service Skills
A great hotel with a terrific staff! Place was clean and staff tended to all my requests and questions.
Really enjoyed our stay here, clean room, friendly staff.
The Bar and Restaurant are expensive. But a great place to stay
Really nice hotel great service
This Hotel is simply beautiful!Soft, lush beds.Sparkly bright bathroom with sharp mirror and an amazing hot shower.Courteous, helpful customer service.I needed some more towels, and they came really quickly, with large warm towels. The light fixtures were modern, new and bright. In addition, this great hotel is in a very central, good location. The front desk was really helpful and efficient.I wanted to extend my stay and they asked me what room I was in, when I old them they said Oh! That rooms air conditioning doesnt work so well I didnt even notice. The staff were super accommodating and gave me an upgraded room for the price I would have payed for that room.I really enjoyed my stay!!I would definitely come back!
Very nice hotel.
Clean with good service but I wanted more luxury
Brand new hotel with all modern amenities. Good conference setup. Easy to find. Parking a bit tight. Many entrances, well lit. Very business
We were here for a company event and I can’t thank them enough for the great hospitality! Thank you
New, well maintained property
Fantastic property with great decor and amazing service. The service was on par, if not better than service at the Ritz Carltons. I will definitely be back here.
Nice comfortable stay
Nice quiet rooms
Clean and new! Bed and pillows are amazing
Marriott is the best hotel so far.
All the staff is nice enough, but certainly nothing about the stay to encourage repeat visits. Bathroom was dirty upon arrival (dirty floor and an empty water bottle on the floor). Shower door would not stay closed, very annoying. No upgrades for Marriott status when rooms were available. Benefit: the hotel does have a limited lounge available/open (small snacks and cold breakfast items).
Great view of the mountains
The hotel is beautiful and clean. The food is delicious. And the staff is very great to work with.
Awesome place to stay
Clean, cool, and friendly
Looked like a great clean place.
Bad experience. Hot water was not consistent. Climate control was off my at least 10 degrees. Front desk admitted they had multiple guests complain about this. Then I ordered my wife a double drink at the bar. It was $28 PLUS tax. Over $30 dollars for a bar drink! WoW!!! I going to Total Wine or BevMo and buying the jumbo bottle for that much or less. I’ll leave what ever is left over for House Keeping. I’ll Never stay here again!
Nice and cozy a perfect home away from home 🏡
Friendly servy
New and clean
Beautiful hotel
Was a good place for my homie to stay while he was evicted 🙏
Very clean hotel with excellent staff. Would strongly recommend staying if you have business in Phoenix!
Beautiful hotel! The room is sparkling clean!
Great venue
Excellent
Very courteous and respectful
Nice
The best hotel in chandler!!!
Professional, comfortable, and accomidating
