Love Julie, my trainer. She has never been late. Has great nutrition ideas. I have bad knees. She has been awesome to work with and help with strengthening my knee’s. She has been so nice and seems happy to see me. Love her.
Its a very unscrupulous place. I wouldnt recommend anyone going here. As part of their anniversary they market no fee, just pay monthly no contract advertisement. But right after you fill out the forms and about to sign the paperwork, boom.......the hidden annual fee shows up. And they put you on the spot, right when you are about to sign, take it or leave it. Very shady place.
Love body pump classes. Aqua zumba is also fun!
EōS has a lot of different equipment and great services. Personal training is one service I would highly recommend if you need a little motivation or want to see better results from your workouts. Danny Ocampo has become my personal trainer and he is fantastic. He has challenged me and pushed my workouts each and every time. He is helpful, motivating and has been exactly what I needed to get back on track after Covid. I am truly grateful to him.
Love EŌS gym is super clean and they have a terrific staff. They motivate you and help you stay on track. I have two trainers and they are both amazing. Yousef and Lacey super young but extremely professional with a huge heart. Overall a great experience
I love this gym, despite some tattered equipment the place maintains a positive vibe and atmosphere. The people are super nice and it is my home away from home.
Ive been working with trainer Danny for about 2 weeks. Its definitely better to work with a trainer to make sure you have the proper form for the exercises that they suggest. This is a five-star review its well worth joining EOS.
Best gym around! It’s always clean, super friendly staff! I spend about 10 hours a week here (Ocotillo/Gilbert location) and couldn’t be happier! Love all the cardio equipment! The theater is a great place to zone out while you workout! I’m not much of a weights person, but if you are, they have it all - machines, free weights, etc. Fun CrossFit area! And I absolutely LOVE the pool!!!!!! Highly recommend!
Great place to work out! Ocotillo and Gilbert the best yet! Was how I felt months ago!Lately more and more equipment is down and today I had enough another one of my machines that I use is down! How can you possibly get the kind of workout 🏋️♀️ that you want if a majority of the machines you use are down????Why am I paying for something when I am not getting what was promised?Hopefully this gets addressed 💔😒🤬😡😡😡😡
Great environment, very helpful staff and willing to accommodate my needs and childcare needs. Over all great gym. Talis was a great help getting me set up for my first time at EOS fitness.
I’ve been a member since January. Very clean facility and great equipment. I work out at night and the front desk attendant,Tristan E, is just awesome . Very friendly, and helpful, you’ll always see him tidying around the gym . I would recommend this EōS location.
Great gym. Low monthly fee. Top trainer Dee works at the Ahwatukee location. Dee will get you in competition shape.
Tristan E. is a great team member who greets and helps us with anything we need every morning. He went out of his way to make sure our key fob/guest pass situation was handled when we had trouble at other EOS gyms. This gym has everything we need to get a good workout in.
Great equipment and nice place to work out. Today will be the third day i have tried to work out but i keep finding it totally packed at times where it is normally pretty quiet all week.Tuesday & Thursday i went in between 7 or 8 pm and found about 250 people there, basically two or more people on or waiting for every single machine. Now Sunday at 3 pm when it is normally quiet and its packed an hour before the Super Bowl??
Spoke to the manager (Naylea) back in January over the phone to request a membership cancel and refund (I had signed up that same day) due to the unpleasantness I experienced with one of the associates there. Naylea told me that she would cancel the membership and issue a refund - however, here we are 7 months later and I am now almost $200 out of pocket because the membership was never cancelled, and initial sign up fees were not refunded. Super disappointing, I just want my money back.
Your Gym Manager YUSUF is a lying con!!!!!! Back In June, I meet with the gym staff members about signing up for a gym membership. Yusuf signed me up. I inquired about the personal training program. I was told that I would be signed up for a trial service for $19.99. Never once was anything else disclosed or shown to me. I was never informed about any pricing, terms, or other conditions to the training. He just handed me a sign pad. Two weeks later I received a charge on my card for $148. I spoke with another gym at another location and they told me that the charges were for personal training and that they were recurring every two weeks. I was never told this my Mr. Yusuf. He never disclosed or showed me anything about payments. My understanding it was a monthly fee not twice a month. Yusuf did not disclose this to me. When I confronted him about this matter he said “oh, I thought I did.” I responded that he didn’t he knows he didn’t. He informed me that he would send in to have the services canceled. However, my card is still being charged for services I was told was canceled by Yusuf. He is now refusing to get on the phone or respond to any of my calls or emails. Is this what you train your staff to do Lie and then run from the situation like Mr. Yusuf is doing. This terrible business practice and I would like to see this situation address. Also, note the staff at this location refuses to give out corporate’s number. Mr. Yusuf needs proper training and taught how to communicate with customers. The fact that he purposely failed to disclose information, than lied, and now avoiding Communication. If this is the practice that EOS upholds I will be moving my business else where.
Good gym. Very busy after 3 m-f.
This was my first time at this location. I went to Julios Aqua Zumba class, all I can say is... AMAZING! Bonus this location has a heated pool, and since I just went to on at Warner that is not heated (freezing) I can tell ypu what a difference it makes to not have your teeth chattering the whole time. One negative for this location is that it requires a pin code to access the pool area instead of the standard card scanner. I had to follow another member in since I didnt know the code.
If I could give this establishment 0 stars I would. I sent a doctor’s note to have my personal training frozen and put on hold because I currently am unable to lift heavy objects. I was refused cancellation of membership because my doctor’s note requested temporary restriction. Whatever I guess. My account had been frozen and I requested an extended freeze a few months later and they had charged for personal training and membership fee. Mind you, I haven’t stepped foot in the gym for over a year. I called in to the facility over five times and the lady at the desk says “to be honest with you, our fitness manager has poor communication”. What does that mean? I was contacted by the assistant manager and district manager and they asked me to do all these steps for a refund and extended freeze. I did those things and never heard back from them. 10/10 would recommend any gym but EoS as they penny pinch you even in hard times like these. By the way, at beginning of my contract I was told I could cancel PT at anytime and now I’m told I’m stuck on a contract no matter what. What a shame... Dealing with this location over the past year has been an absolute nightmare. I tried canceling during the COVID outbreak and they refused. I tried canceling after my back injury and they refused. They clearly don’t care about the safety and health of their long time customers.
The girl I signed up with wasn’t great to work with and was very confused but I’m giving this place 5 stars because the child care staff! They are so amazing!! The gym is great but I continue to come to this location because the childcare staff!!! If your a mom that needs 2 hours to yourself get a membership here and let your kids play! Love it
I want to give a big shout out to Grace K. who does the yoga class on Saturdays at this location. She is an amazing instructor who calms your mind and body but dont think you your not getting the strength training out of this class, plus you learn to breath, pay attention to your bodies tight, sore spots or miss alignments. You are relaxed, calm and very satisfied after leaving Graces class. I love how she walks a through the motions in a serene voice from being to end. I thank you and look forward to having her hopefully come back to the Greenfield location soon!!
I would never do business with this company again. When I first signed up, they overcharged my account. When I reported the overcharge, they claimed that I had signed up for a more premium account than I what I actually had. To prove their mistake, they required me to bring them a copy of the contract, which I did. They then claimed that they had charged my account the correct amount. To prove to them that they hadnt, they made me bring them a copy of my credit card statement, which I did. They then relented and said they would lower my account to the correct level. But, the next month, they again overcharged me. It was difficult to contact anyone with the authority to correct the overcharges and to prevent them going forward.I cancelled my account. Yet, they continued to charge my credit card on file. I contacted them and they said that my account was still showing as active. I documented my cancellation, and they indicated they did see that I had cancelled but that the cancellation had not yet been processed.I instructed my credit card company to stop processing charges from them. I received a text message and a phone message saying my payment had been declined, and asking me to contact them to make payment. I called and asked to speak to a manager. The person at the desk refused my request. I asked 4 times, and was refused on each of them. On the 5th request, he said he would have a manager call me back. As of this writing, I have not received a call back.
This gym is great! Cant beat the price. Super clean (especially in a time like this its important). Friendly environment. The night time guy has become a personal friend. They play awesome movies in the movie room. Fast with the machine maintenance. Overall good experience 👌🏼
Clean facility, friendly staff, good options for weights and cardio. BUT can get extremely busy during the times I can visit, parking spaces are small/packed with vehicles from adjacent businesses and the cancellation policy is absurd. Adios EoS.
I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied with this gym and now EOS as a whole. The fact that I’ve taken the time to write this should say it all.I originally went in and signed up for a black membership in November, so my girlfriend and I can go in and workout together. A few days later I was encouraged I cancel that membership and add my girlfriend separately to a blue membership as well as myself since we inquired on coming in separately. I was told that I would receive a refund for my original down payment of $20+ and can sign up for just $1 each on a new blue membership. We then sign up for the Blue and was again, encouraged to add sponsor referrals (DO NOT DO IT) for incentives. I was assured multiple times that I would receive my refund back of $20+ and yet here we are in January no refund. But, thats not the best of it. I went in multiple times and spoke to many different people whom I each told to document in notes on my file that I had come in inquiring that one of the sponsors ( Brandon) decided not to join and to remove him from my billing. I was assured it would get done no problem. I did this within the time frame of 14 day grace period or such. I was billed 3x for $75+ totaling around $225+ in December a month after in regards to annual fee. I called and questioned why I was charged three times and no one knew why. I called the third party number they gave me for payment refunds and billing and they couldnt help me and referred me back to the gym. I finally disputed one of the charges and was billed an invoice with Brandons name on it asking to set up payments. I was so disappointed when I realized they have done nothing and completely disregarded the notes or my requests. As of 01/15/2021 I was charged again on my account for Brandon on top of me and my girlfriend. Not once did I hear from the manager as promised although someone emailed me and I responded by setting up a sit down appointment to discuss but guy never got back to me.Advice: Do NOT accept their referral sponsor scam. Seems like they needed sales rather than service. Save your time and money. Always work with your bank for disputes as I will be filing another claim this time fraud.
This place is great. The front desk is super friendly. Brooke always greets myself and my friends with a smile and makes us look forward to coming back!
Sneaky GM signed my son up for a free trial, took a credit card and charged him nearly $400 in a month. We called to make sure he wouldnt get charged anymore and a day later they charged $75 twice! Billing is very misleading, be careful and dont let your kids sign up.
I think it’s great the employees told that woman to put her mask on so often. She needs a better mask, not getting upset at the employees - they are helping to keep us safe. I watch people walk in, go by the front desk and immediately take their masks down under their chins. Also many are wearing half shields with no masks, this is not safe for others, their vapors are escaping into the room. I only swim here so I’m not exposed but I do wish Eos would not allow the half shields. I’m proud those young employees feel they can ask others to pull their masks up as many have relaxed their use of masks in the gym which is dangerous to all of us.
I cancelled my account in October of 2020. When I called the club today to resolve Meredith was extremely unprofessional. She attempted to impersonate a manager and then at the end of the call admitted she was not the manager. She refused to provide me with the managers name. She told me over the phone that she saw my cancellation, but it must have been a glitch in the system. She promised I would be refunded. I was surprised at the level of dishonesty from continuing to charge and for the staff member misrepresentation and I will never join an EOS gym again.
First time at this EoS. Staff are super friendly and so are those who are working out. Felt more comfortable at this EoS then some of the other ones Ive been to. A little longer of drive but worth it.
Clean pleasant atmosphere 👍🏽
Went to try out the Zumba class with instructor Catherine Moreau and was AMAZING. So kind, patient and she was giving it 100% which encourages me to give it 100% too. She made the steps super easy to follow and encouraged people to wear their masks properly, super appreciated. I loved how she made it fun while still being chaklenging, will definitely be going back. Thank you again Catherine!
1 Month Update: Beware if you subscribe to the Gray Membership. The price comparisons on the EOS website make no mention of a start up fee AND an annual fee. All it says is $49.99 to start. However, during the sign up process youll see that youll be charged a $49.99 start up fee and a subsequent 9.99 monthly fee. They then throw in the line that youll be charged 49.99 annual fee to guarantee they wont raise your rate. But the way the page is set up, youre led to believe that your payment of the Start Up Fee is the payment for the annual fee. The site never makes a forthright distinction that youre basically paying $100 to get a rate of $10 per month. This means youre effectively paying $18 per month.I believe the price comparison page intentionally deceives you by not mentioning the recurring annual fee as a feature of the membership. This is very shady as you will find out on your credit card bill that your credit card was charged $60 and not $10 when you were already charged $50 when you first signed up.ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOWFriendly desk staff greets you with a smile the moment you walk into the building. Easy access using my membership image on cell phone. More than enough cardio machines available. Cleaning spray bottles and napkins in key locations within the club to wipe down machines and equipment before and after workout. The facility is clean with working equipment. Definitely a great workout gym at a great price.
I was at this location yesterday working out and I had a terrible experience! I was targeted by one of the front desk associates about my mask! While I was working out doing my lifts my mask would fall below my nose and right after I was done with my set I would fix my mask! The front desk associate came up to 4 times after my lifts telling me I had a do a better job about my mask falling off. She never bother to tell 8 other people the same thing she kept on only singling me out! I watch her every time during my sets in the mirror look for me and wait for me to finish! On top of it i was towards the end of my workout whileI was finishing on of my last sets another sales rep o believe it was a sales manager came up to me saying they same thing this was the 5th time they had came up to me and only me! At this point I lost it! He threaten to call the cops on me because my mask kept on falling “bellow my nose” first off this is not a state law you cannot threaten to call the cops on someone! Second there’s where MULTIPLE people who’s MASK were below there nose and they didn’t go up to them. I ended up leaving after because I was just annoyed that I couldn’t work out and I was getting interrupted every 10 minute to fix my mask which I was doing after every set it would fall off!
I am BEYOND frustrated with the way the managers communicate at this location!! I became a member in June paid almost $100 to start up being convinced that Im getting some kind of DEAL (my fault for being so trusting and naive). However I was told i would be charged $20 a month with a trainer once a week then the pandemic went wild again. They shut down and I wasnt charged which was great but it gets worse!! I requested a freeze on my account which was offered in August but then a week after requesting it I got charged not $20 but $68 AGAIN!! Which was supposed to be my ONE TIME STARTUP fee and apparently I was bamboozled by the man who signed me up into thinkin i would be only charged $20 month!! Not only have I called multiple times but I emailed the physical training manager on a few occasions and continue to be told to EMAIL someone with my issues with no one calling me back to explain what is going on and why I was charged not only a different amount but charged at all when i asked for my account to frozen for an additional month!!! I will be cancelling my membership as well as hopefully getting a refund!! I wont hold my breath with the lack of communication I will for sure be going in to get this figured out since no one there has a phone number directly!! Also they charged me an annual fee when I hadnt been there for a month this whole company is trash dont trust anyone and make sure you know what youre signing!! They are liars!!!
Its a great gym with a lot of equipment and very friendly staff.
Great gym. Great staff.
Working out here a few days a week. Great machines easy to adjust. Cleaning crew keeping everything disinfected every hour.
Really enjoying this gym. Special thanks to Meredith who was very kind to assist me with a $1 mask since I forgot mine. You rock.
DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP AT THIS GYMThis is after months of me being nice and understanding for this company. Currently I do not recommend getting a membership or personal training especially (its not worth 164 dollars/month for 25 minutes of training a week). I had my PT account frozen due to COVID and moving out (something I made the managers aware of when I signed up). Before the gym reopened, they contacted me saying that they would call asking if I wanted to keep the account frozen or not. They never called, then charged my card for the normal rate, which at the time, really cut into my grocery budget. I went in and asked for a refund and for them to keep my account frozen. They said they did, but I was then charged AGAIN two weeks later. I came in again and told them that I wanted a refund for BOTH charges and to keep my account frozen like it was supposed to. The first charge took a MONTH to be refunded to me and the second charge was two weeks. Thankfully, they were refunded and and account was frozen and that was that. Fast forward to early december 2020, I decided I wanted to cancel my PT and reduce my membership to the grey version, I decided to cancel my current membership and sign up again this month. They told me that it was all good. Fast forward to today, 01/05/2021, my card is being charged for my membership EVEN THOUGH ITS SUPPOSED TO BE CANCELLED. I have been understanding, and I have been patient. I will not tolerate this anymore.DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP WITH THIS GYM1/11/2021: Still no response from Prath Bruton (Area PT manager).1/11/2021: Just talked to Mr. Bruton, he was of no help to my situation. I can either pay off the PT contract or let it go to collections, which is no help for someone in my situation (moving) and in the middle of a pandemic.I am extremely disappointed in this company. I thought this was an honest gym but I was wrong. I will not be renewing my membership and will encourage anyone that goes to this gym to take their business elsewhere.
I am extremely frustrated with EOS. Their cancelation process is horrible. My son, a minor, went in to cancel him membership. They charged almost $300 to his debit card claiming he was responsible for his cancelation and then three others he referred. The manager stepped in and ultimately gave us a refund for the other three leaving him with a cancelation fee of $73 on his debit card. Even though these charges are clearly on his account, they claimed he never officially cancelled and continued to charge him monthly. We disputed the charge with the bank and the next month they just charged double. They ignored the fact they charged him the cancellation fee and said it was not properly notated on the account so they did not have proof (again - ignoring the fact that they actually could see he was charged a cancelation fee). He is having to cancel his debit card to put a stop to this madness. Do not give this gym access to a debit card!!!
Love working out here. Every morning I am always greeted by Brendan! He is on top of everything! He is always making sure the work out areas are cleaned an organized. Most importantly he always has a smile on his face and has a positive attitude. He makes attending the gym so much easier!
I was charged twice for annual membership fee. I spoke with manager Brooke, she said she will fix it and she did not. Also, she was passive aggressive and not professional.Joseph, personal training manager is rude and unprofessional. Everyone is unfriendly there.
Weve had a membership with them for about two years. COVID hits, and were out of work (and they close), so they tell us our account is frozen till Sept 30th. Today (Aug 24th), they took out $42 from our bank account. We explained to them that we arent working, and they had previously told us our account was frozen till Sept 30th, and asked for them to put the money back because thats a grocery bill. The operations manager refused, so weve cancelled our TWO memberships... and they STILL wont refund our $42. Unreal. The good news is that EoS Fitness has cured the pandemic, and everyone can go back to work!
Would definitely recommend. Clean gym, good vibes
The person who sold me my membership (Courtney) tricked me into putting in two referrals to sponsor and putting MY CARD information saying I had 14 days to cancel these memberships I sponsored. This was November 4. Both of my referrals refused an EoS membership. The first referral was canceled the next day, but the other referral was ignored. I called MANY times trying to cancel before the 14 days up to the point where I physically went in to cancel it November 17, before the 14th day. On December 4, aside from being charged $76 for my annual membership fee (which is understandable and what I agreed to), I was charged an ADDITIONAL $71, for the referral account that I SPECIFICALLY went in to cancel, having been reassured by the front desk that this account had been canceled. It turned out they had ignored my request to cancel my referral account. EoS charged me a total of $147!!! I talked to Brooke at the front desk who was trying to be helpful and told me to call back within a week and half to see if my refund would even be approved. At this point, I just want to cancel my own membership! I do not and will never recommend EoS at all.
Masks off, and sauna is on!!! Good to be back.
My gym, I love it. So dont go there when Im there mmkay
This is my favorite eos location, Halee is extremely helpful, and inviting. The atmosphere is amazing and competitive, and she always puts a smile on my face.
This gym is equipped for all types of fitness, clean and very well maintained! But... I really wanted this 5 star rating to mainly go to Trent who works up front, welcomes everyone and knows the members by name. Above and beyond member support. Very rare to see this level of professionalism anymore. Thank you Trent! You are a true 5 star employee!
Love it here, f$$$ planet fitness
Worst communication. I called in mid april to cancel my account and was told I can freeze the account for up to 3 months nothing else communicated. After a month I called them 2 times to cancel the account - crickets.Today I called again to cancel the account and I get a call that I need to pay 5$ for processing the freeze. It is not about the 5$ but the lack of communication and the attitude of this gym. They are nice to get your membership but after which it is such a pain to get it cancelled.I will give 0 stars if I can. Run Away from this gym.
We were members of EOS for a few years until Covid and recently moved out of Arizona. We cancelled our membership in person in March 2020. We have been continuously charged since then with multiple fraudulent charges. They refuse to take care of it so now Wells Fargo is involved to review the fradulent activity. I understand they are hurting for money due to Covid but that doesnt make it okay to charge accounts that have already been cancelled for profit. The manager has done nothing to correct the situation and refuses to refund the hundreds of dollars charged to our account. Make sure when you cancel that you get it in writing and let your bank know moving forward they are not to charge your account.Update: I spoke with the store manager and they are fixing the issue and reimbursing the charges that were made. Thanks for the help Amber!
I went in yesterday and did a tour with the intention of signing up. The gym was really cramped. The price is solid but its just an ordinary corporate gym. Thats kind of what you get I guess. Not a place that made me feel comfortable. The layout was fairly poor. Just walking around it felt as if someone would always be in your way. What really stopped me from signing up was the sales tactic. As we sit down I was asked which membership do I want to purchase today as if not signing up wasnt an option. That tactic makes me feel the gym is sleezy somewhere I never want to go again.
Nice newer gym. It can be crowded but weekends are great. I love the variety of classes they offer and the pool is warm and rarely full.
This gym is amazing. I recently joined (you know right before the governor shut it all down again). It is clean, the staff is friendly and professional and there personal trainers are top notch. I am a former CrossFit coach and know my way around a gym. I took advantage of a free personal training session with Danny Ocampo before everything shut down. He is very knowledgeable in all areas of health and fitness as well as very personable. I worked out hard and laughed hard during our training session. I can’t wait for the gym to open back up again and to hire Danny. Even though I know my way around a gym and know how to program workouts to reach my fitness goals. It will be worth the money to hire Danny to help continue to help improve my form and work on some of my weaknesses. If you are in the market for a gym. Definitely check this area out and if you want some help getting back into shape post COVID give Danny a shout.
The gym itself is pretty nice
Has the essentials, they do a good job with service and health standards during COVID
I just signed up. I got their towel add on for $10 a month. I have used it and have returned my towels! Today, without a question, an email or anything have had $5 deducted for apparently not returning a towel! Beyond unacceptable! I will most likely be cancelling at least the towel portion and possibly my membership. I already have another gym, I go to this one because its closer to work when I need it. I emailed them back and told them to check the canera and see I put it in the bin and they said to bad so sad, the fee stands and that I can take it up with the gym.
Just took new class BANG. It was a blast and a great work out.Saturday instructor is amazing and fun.Never thought Id enjoy as much as I did!Thank you EOS for offering this class!!
At first I was skeptical about having to make an appointment to schedule my workout. Im on board and I was very pleased/impressed with the young man who confidently asked to see my reservation on my cell.
Great facility
Great place to workout.
They keep charging me past 3 months even after cancelling. every month i have to call them to refund.
Zach Mutton was awesome signed up for some memberships no hidden fees or surcharges.. He made sure we understood everything and gave us a great deal.
Negative star! They are quick to pull you to a side table when signing up for membership but will push you to call their customer service team when canceling or just having to update the account. When I called the customer service, I had to navigate through a robot voice asking for tons of information. If you get past that, you get a live person that will ask for the same information. I was put on hold that my phone lost it’s charge.I am canceling because I’ve requested them several times to charge my visa card but it kept changing my discover card that is no longer valid...they of course they want me to call the customer service line because the mgr is not onsite...might as well cancel!
Good price but forget the contracts for personal trainers. They are pushed hard during sign up with “one time only prices” WITH CONTRACT but scheduling working out with a trainer is difficult. Just a warning they will take the whole amount contracted then some if you miss a payment. 600 dollars without authorization request.
Amazing place
They have bad management and kids that work there that are rude this place is a joke
Recently moved from Peoria to Chandler, Im honestly amazed at the difference. It seems like they focused way to much on appearance at this location. They dont have nearly as many locations in the area making this one so over crowded, and the turf is so much smaller making it feel even more crowded. I dont think the size of this one would make such a big deal if they had more locations in the area. Its so over crowded that Im actually starting to look at different gym memberships.
Way to crowded. You can never really use the grass area because its always packed. Id like the gym better if it wasnt always so crowded because they do have good equipment and a friendly staff.
Excellent service. If you have any questions while youre there asked for Brendon A. Such a nice gentleman was very courteous to me and my family highly recommend his opinion.
Worst gym worst cleanliness worst service stay away
This gym is a major disappointment! If I could give it zero stars, I would.I went in a day before my 19th birthday, and was intending to just sign up for the $25 month special for my birthday. I was really excited to join, but as I was signing up, they offered me a free workout. I thought the man was going to walk me around the gym and show me around and I thought he was having me sign a waiver for a free welcome workout. Instead it seems that I signed a contract for personal training for $296 dollars a month!I was shocked when five days after I signed up, I was emailed a contract that said I owed $1,795.00 and would be billed $148.00 twice a month. I went into EOSfitness the very next day and told them to cancel that immediately. I only make $600 dollars a month and cannot afford this at all. The girl at the desk said no problem, they would cancel it. Also I didnt even know I had signed up for it.I thought it was taken care of but then $148.00 came out of my account 2/7/20. I called immediately and talked with a girl at the desk to ask why it wasnt canceled and she said I needed to talk to their manager. They will not cancel my contract at all. No one will return my call.Warning to everyone! They will trick you into signing up for personal training and not help you at all to cancel. They are leaving me no choice but to consider legal action against them.
Great gym, lots of machines and have never had to wait. Just wish more people would follow the rules and wipe down machines after they work out. Same with people dropping the heavy weights on the floor.
I have been coming to this gym since it opened and it has been an awesome experience. The employees are always really nice. I signed up for a personal trainer and Brandon Bosch was lucky enough to get me. I have only been through one session with Brandon and he absolutely kicked my behind which is what I wanted. He was positive the whole time and reinforced that I can get to where I need to be. I needed someone to help lead me in the right direction and he has absolutely done that and than some. Thank you very much Brandon.
Way too crowded to ever get in the workout you want.
Great place to work out at. The facility is clean and huge, it has everything you need for a proper work out, even for a demanding cross fitter like me, it did not disappoint. And you can literally work out in a movie theater!!
Reasonably prices with lots of facilities, staff is nice and helpful, crowded a lot though.
I have gone to many Gyms Over the Years and This is definitely one of the Best Overall. From Aarin at the Front Desk with her Awesome Energy Each Morning to Brandon, John and their Crew of trainers they make this Gym an enjoyment to come to everyday. Thanks for making this place like a second home.
After speaking with the Manager at EOS about goals and wanting to look at getting a personal trainer, he convinced me to purchase 6 sessions as long as he gave me 6 free. The total would be $216 which i was charged that day. After completing my first 6 sessions i was charged another $216. I called and reminded the manager of our conversation and he explained to me that I signed a contracted program that i am responsible to pay $216 bi-weekly. It was never discussed and i was never shown a grand total of $2808 that i was locked into. I didnt even understand that the $2808 was the grand total until after speaking with the manager who emailed it to me! While speaking with him he told me that nothing was guaranteed and will see if he could get a refund. This is unacceptable! And now they are telling me that they will put a 30 day courtesy freeze on my account because im in a financial bind, which is not what i am looking for. I am looking for my money to be placed back into my back account and to cancel the gym.
Have been going to the classes at 5:15am for Body Pump mostly and cycling on occasion and they work great for my work schedule. Easy to sign up a day in advance and seen results too. All the trainers are extremely nice and help out wherever they can and to help motivate you. Would recommend for all gym needs as the freeweight section and gym is very large for all needs.
I wrote a pretty bad review about this place 3 years ago, it’s still really over crowded. Staff is equally unpleasant. I had gotten a membership to help out my sister despite avoiding this place for over a year… Then I had yet another bad interaction, this time with the general manager “Nessa” or “Niesa” or something. My kids went to the kids club one time and didn’t like it, I found the pre-scheduling and the hours to be problematic. After them going one time I called to cancel it and was informed that they “need a 30 day notice” (again - they went ONCE), when I asked for it to be waived she was extremely rude and said no. So I asked her to also go ahead and cancel my membership - to which she cheerily obliged. A competent manager who cares about the business they represent would have waived a $15 kids club fee to be able to keep charging a $30 per month (plus yearly fees) for a rarely used membership.Update: I did get a call from one of the higher level managers, Brenden, who informed me that the general manager in question is no longer there and covered the aforementioned fee that I canceled my membership over, so I decided to keep it. Star rating adjusted to reflect this response.
Awesome gym! Great selection of strength equipment. Definitely recommend it.
The place is great but I’m pretty sure one of Cinderella’s Evil Step Sisters works in the baby care department. I wish someone would turn her pumpkin into a beautiful horse carriage
Isabel who works the front desk rocks! Whenever I have a problem, and I have had problems with my membership through my health insurance, she solves it with a smile and her go getter attitude. Please give her a raise and get her on track to be a GM. Honestly all the people who work the front desk here are very courteous and say good bye to you when you leave. Love this location .
Been going to this location since its Grand opening one year ago. Great facility and staff. Really good Cycling instructors too!
Great new gym with great classes. The instructors are friendly and ready to help.
Overall good gym. Have a lot to offer as far as workout machines and really happy with what they had. Disappointed because I was promised a month long membership for $1 from when I signed up. Only in town for a month so I figured why not! Month later I’m getting charge for a membership I will no longer use and the manager on duty was too scared to talk to me himself. Very disappointed in management and won’t step foot in another EoS again.
Great facilities. Terrible membership plans. Locations in AZ, NV, and a few places in Orange County California. Thats it. Traveling back east? Youll have to find a different club. Los Angeles? Same situation. Theres an initiation fee plus an annual fee on top of your monthly fee. This is nuts compared to a certain club that is nationwide AND in London for less. If youre always in town and live next door it might be worth it. The facilities are modern, clean, with many amenities.
Overcrowded. Terrible cancelation policy. Be warned they will charge you for any payments 30 days past your cancelation date somehow?
VERY concerned about the infant area. RATING is based on the babies area. All children are required to wear socks throughout the play area, but the staff are in their gym shoes. Particularly, staff are in their gym shoes in the infant/toddler area where the babies lay, crawl, and play. I feel staff in that area should only wear socks. No shoes allowed to be worn in the infant/ toddler area. Overall, I really like the gym. Glad this location finally opened.
DO NOT SIGN UP TO THEIR PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS.I have submitted a cancellation of my personal training subscription via the gyms portal 3 times to no avail. The gym keeps charging me. The first one on October 25th 2019. On October 28th I spoke over the phone with the manager (Jake) about it and he confirmed the cancellation. On December 21st I submitted another cancellation request and spoke with the new manager (Zach) about it, he said that he found no proof of my previous cancellation request (I have an email confirming my submittal) and asked for proof of my conversation with the previous manager, which I provided. In his email he stated should you not be able to provide this the 30 day cancellation request has been processed as of our initial contact. I have been charged multiple since then. After my 2nd submittal, Denny Garcia, tried contacting me and left me a voicemail saying he wanted to work something out since I am a good member. I called him multiple times and left a voicemail. I did not hear from him. On January 29th, I submitted another cancellation request (3rd) and asked that my money be refunded (I have been charged 6 times (over $500) since the first submittal). Danny called me and emailed me. In his email he stated that he needs proof of my cancellations. Every time I submitted a cancellation request the portal sends me an email confirming my submittal. I have all emails from the portal confirming my submittals. Last week, Feb 5th, I spoke with Denny on the phone and he said that he cant find proof of my initial submittal and asked for the email I received when submitting it, which I provided to him. He said that nothing can be done about it and that I will only get a refund for the last 2 charges. It is not my fault that the gym did not do its job and that they cant find my initial request to cancel. I need my money back. Do not sign up to their personal training sessions, they do not care about the members and will only keep on charging you.
Customer service was really good! They do not try to suck you into signing up for the more expensive packages, they show you the different packages they offer and what fits your needs the best. So excited now that they’re open!
Workout is nice here
I’ve belonged to many gyms, including the super expensive, but EOS by far has the best trainers and classes I have experienced. I started at EOS really struggling with health issues (thyroid, auto-immune), and after I briefly communicated those they paired me with Shatha who was familiar with my conditions and could not only place me on the best training plan, but was able to direct me to the right resources to improve my overall health. She’s there for me day or night with the right amount of motivation to work hard, and empathy when I’m struggling. What I appreciate is their trainers seem to be experienced, and not just your average 20 year old just out of school. In addition, their classes have been exceptIonal. Shout out to Kylie and her sister who’s name escapes me, Nadine, and Marlon who do an excellent job with group fitness.
A good gym with plenty of free weights, weight machines and cardio equipment. There is a small basketball court and a pool. Locker rooms are clean and have showers. There are many personal trainers to choose from. It does get a bit busy during peak hours but with so much equipment you can keep your workout rhythm. There are fitness classes, a spin room and a theater room with cardio equipment as well as a supervised kids play area.
I love this gym! All the employees are great, and its 24hrs so you can workout whenever :)
