I had my wisdom teeth extraction today and I have been dreading it for a long time. I am VERY thankful I came here. Everyone was so nice and professional. From the receptionist, to the nurse who did my xray. I was incredibly nervous for the procedure (havent had many procedures done) and everyone made me very comfortable. The doctor explained the after care instructions to my mom thoroughly. Dr. Kiss, Lisa, and Shawn were the best people I couldve asked for to assist with this. Lisa was very talkative and it helped calm my nerves 100%. I appreciate the dedication and friendliness!

Call for appt when I was referred. My dentist called them telling them what they needed. When I called for an appt. they had no clue. Plus I was on hold for 12 minutes. When I arrived for my appt scheduled at 10.30 didnt get in a chair till 11. Waited for 15 waiting for doctor. Did the exam. Same thing happened for appt to do the work. My B/P was high so I didn’t get it done. Tried to schedule another appt after I spent 35 mins with my insureance carrier. They had no idea how to process AHCCCS for billing. Called to reschedule another appt on July 5 2021 & the soonest they could do the work was October 14, 2021. I would NOT recommend at least the Chandler. I do not know about the other offices. TAKE YOUR CHANCE. GOOD LUCK

I had my very first tooth extraction today and aside from the expected unpleasantness of the procedure, the treatment and service provided by the staff was exceptional. Id like to especially acknowledge Dawn, Im not sure of her title but I believe shes a dental assistant. She was extremely helpful, informative and empathetic to my concerns. I was very nervous going into this but she really set my mind at ease and made me feel comfortable. The dentist who performed my extraction (sorry, didnt get his name) was awesome. He talked me through the procedure as we went along and completed the extraction as painless and quickly as possible. Id like to that everyone involved in making my visit a pleasant experience. If youre looking for a safe, clean, friendly dental office to take care of your dental needs, I recommend Valley Endodontics & Oral Surgery.

When I first came to this place for an x-ray for my wisdom teeth, I was very nervous and feel unsafe just because of the staff that called me in got some attitudes and the way she talked to me. When I got back home, I even didn’t want to go back anymore because she make me feel unsafe. I didn’t trust them at first. On the day of my surgery, I met a wonderful staff. She’s a lot better than the first staff I’d met. She called me in and was very polite and friendly. She told me some about her kids and that was so interesting. She make me feel safe, comfortable and I didn’t have to worry about it anymore. I also met Doctor Kiss and he was awesome! He makes me feel like I’m safe too and that I could trust him performing surgery on me. Dr. Kiss and his two staff were amazing! Because of the two staff (I believe the two staff were a dental assistant and Dr. Kiss who performed surgery on me on that day, I give this place a 5 stars.

Hello!Today I went in for two impacted wisdom tooth extractions. Dr . Kiss and his assistant Jennice were phenomenal! If you’re a person who tries to avoid the dentist at all cost due to the fear of pain, I would HIGHLY recommend seeing Dr. Kiss. He answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. While doing the procedures he was very attentive. Whenever I made the slightest move or ugh he would stop and make sure I wasn’t feeling any pain never undermining my feelings or uncomfortableness. No exaggerating he took maybe 4 minutes tops on each tooth. His assistant Jennice was a really nice lady. She talked to me while waiting for Dr. Kiss and calmed my nerves about the thought of the pain and was very reassuring. I was extremely impressed by their professionalism and their kindness. This is definitely a dentist you wouldn’t be disappointed with. Way to go guys! Thank you Dr. Kiss and Jennice!

I had tooth pain, and had to schedule an emergency root canal in May. Went immediately (as I was told to) an hour away to the Chandler office where they stuck my in a room & ignored me for over 2 hours before the doctor came in. In under 45 minutes, he did a root canal on my tooth for which I paid nearly $1000.Since them, I have continued to have pain in that tooth, and have been to my dentist multiple times to figure out why. I have have 6 root canals before this one, and NEVER had any pain afterwards. The dentist told me to go back to Valley Endodontists, so I made an appointment and went in to the office closer to my house. The staff there was quite rude to me, and immediately presented me with an estimate for thousands of additional dollars to fix that tooth. I almost walked out at that point, which I have never done before.I was told I should go back to Chandler where the work had originally been done, so I called there for an appointment. They told me that I would have to pay $200 to get a 3D scan to find the problem with my tooth, and were not helpful in the least. In my mind, I already paid to have that tooth evaluated and fixed, and if it still isn’t fixed, that should be on them. Overall, this has been the absolute worst dental experience I have had in my life...

Terrible. They quoted me for around $500 dollars. It cost me truely about $1300. I get that it was an estimate and that it may go up or down a bit, thats why its called an estimate. Did not think it was going to be almost 3 times the amount. If i would have known it was going to be that much, i would have waited for a time i could afford it. I saw a normal family dentist to address pain in a molar. The normal dentist, Dr. N. recommends removing the tooth as the cavity looks deep and there could be a sinus complication upon extraction. I made it very clear that I had already lost teeth due to the war in Iraq and the night terrors after (grinding while sleeping) and the VA had hurt me during dental procedures in the past that I was lo to go to them again. Dr. N office took a few bite-block X-rays, looked at them for about a minute and said, You have to go to an Oral surgeon, too close to your sinus. I had several other issues that he could have address such as cavities or crowns but it was almost time to close and that does not sound like easy money, so lets talk in two weeks when I come home, was Dr. N reply. This is my point, dentist today, not all, but most, in this country, will do the least amount of work possible in order to bill insurance companies for the most profitable and shortest procedures. If you have a tooth that could be saved but the doctor may have to work on it for more then 20 minutes, forget it. The doctor will recommend extraction and implant. Its all about money, so do yourself a favor, do not trust a person based on their profession, they like money more then they care about patients, if you do not believe me go to a dentist office and ask them to discuss not only your portion but whats being charged to the insurance company, you will most likely get an irritated dental staff member or doctor. Build a relationship with someone you can trust, do not let these providers talk down to you either. Dentist seem to think Dentistry is Nuclear Physics and that no one can understand the complexities of what they do. LOL, . When I went to Valley I told them I had severe dental phobia and would like my wife in the room. Was told by the assistant, No, not possible because COVID. Even though she has a mask and all they do is check your temperature before going back. They could careless about common sense, she is not going back. Then they talk to you like your a baby who does not know what teeth are or used for. I told them 3 times, I was a combat medic in the army for six years, been to Iraq, blah blah blah. Does not matter they still talk to me like an idiot. I ask the assistant, does it really need to come out, could it perhaps be saved? The assistant gave a long response that basically said, it would be a lot of work for the dentist to do and maybe the prognosis would not be good anyway. My point is this, All that Oral Surgeon does, (this is what the assistant told me) is pull teeth, so if you end up in that chair you are getting a tooth pulled. They would not even do the procedure without requiring payment first, which is kind of a shame, since they had my insurance, all my information, but still treated me like I was going to scam them afterwards. Then they put the paperwork in front of you and say initial where it says and sign. As I was trying to read it, they went over zero, not a word, just a circle and this is your portion ($80) over $600 (insurance) for a pulled tooth. It is a holiday weekend, I am in severe pain for over 48 hours and I wish I could get up, walk out. Go find a dentist who cares. Get a root canal, crown lengthening, and a crown, and viola, I saved my tooth. Alas, it was not to be, I made peace with myself thinking this is your fault for putting yourself in the position to be in the power of people that want nothing but your money and could care less about you as a person, or what your life will entail after you live their premises. It is a shame to say but like everywhere else, money has became the number 1 factor in healthcare and density. I would not return to Valley for any work. The waiting room was PACKED, social distancing was not applied and now my wife is sick this morning. I also asked to keep the tooth and was told, No, its bio-hazard. Never mind that is a complete lie, its a first for me. Find a provider who cares about more then just money, they do exist, hopefully...

The woman who answered ARGUED with me about where I was seen, she YELLED at me saying that I went to a Bell Rd office. I live in Tempe, I would never drive to Bell Rd for anything. I asked for the Office Manager and she rudely stated, THATS ME ... She then tried to explain that she was new and not familiar with the offices and locations yet. Update: They replied to me review but never called me.Horrible experience. Will never go there again. Few things, first I scheduled my appointment 4 days in advance at 3:30 and gave them my insurance provider information and member ID etc. I went in for the exam at 3:10 and after completing all the paperwork, I was told sorry we cant take your medical because our practice only takes dental insurance. They took all my insurance details 4 days ago and never once told me about this. Usually, every practice verifies before they schedule anything with the patient. Fine, I agreed that I will pay out of pocket since I needed this exam pretty bad. (By the way I paid $120 for the 3 minutes of exam). Secondly, my appointment was at 3:30 and my turn came at 5:30. (I am not exaggerating). Literally after 2 hours of wait time, they called me saying sorry it was a busy day. Poor scheduling management. Doctor checked me in less than 2 minutes and be done with it. I asked me for the summary of diagnosis and further recommendation. I was told doctor is busy so he will complete his notes tonight and we will send it over to your email. Its been 5 days and I still havent received my doctor notes. I have called multiple times already asking for it and they said the same thing, we are just sending you.Worst service and patient care ever.So they responed to this review saying they will reach out to me but they never did. Just wanted to throw it out there.

Very disappointed with front desk attitudes. I had an appointment for my daughter we we actually headed over from Casa Grande, az and I-10 was shut down due to a fatal accident. I figured okay let me turn around and go through the reservation well that didnt happen because they has a Police officer directing you to take highway 87 and would not allow you too go through the reservation. I kept in touch with the office with the FIRST sign of delay and kept them up to date with all the goings on and yet the showed no remorse, empathy, assistance other than lets schedule another day. I am sorry but I cant predict what will be in the road ways daily nor did I have any control over being late. I still went to see I could get an excuse for school since we were in contact and on our way well their response was we didnt see you so we are not going to give you an excuse I was livid! My response was, Like I kept calling you through the whole thing so you cant just give me something that says we had to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances? Anything? Again I was told No! By the front desk Tomboyish looking female She showed no Empathy, understanding or care for that matter. I will NEVER step foot in that office nor will I ever recommend anyone o that office again. My suggestion is kids with no type of empathy, care or professionalism should NOT be working any front desks in any form of physicians office. Great job you lost a patient and money!!

I was referred here by magic smiles dental for a root canal. I called the location and they set up an appointment to do X-rays while they waited for my insurance to clear so they could set up another appointment for the root canal. When I was referred there I was already in terrible pain and I was told it’d be about 2 weeks or so to hear back from my insurance company and they’d call me when it cleared. About a month later I hadn’t heard anything from them so I called and asked if my insurance had cleared and the girl on the phone (who I don’t remember the name of) said that she couldn’t find my file or even had record of me being there for X-rays. She verified my name and birthday and said she’d call me back when she found it. It was about 4 when I called and the office closes at 5. I never received a call back.I called again about maybe a month or so later (I work a lot and it’s hard to find time for appointments as is) to be told that they had been confusing me for another patient and that my insurance was submitted through an email that they no longer had access to (?).They finally scheduled my appointment for 2 weeks later. When I got in everything was going fine and about halfway through the procedure Dr. Chan broke one of the tools off in my tooth! He spent roughly the next 30-45 minutes trying to dig it out. I was in there 3-3 1/2 hours for a procedure I was told would talk half that. The numbing had started to wear off when he was trying to dig the tool out of my tooth and I didn’t ask for more because my mouth was so sore from being held open for that long that I just wanted them to finish. He was apologetic about it and my tooth does feel better but I just feel the whole experience with them was one of the worst I’ve had at a place of business.

I just want to say that Dr. Moody did a phenomenal job when it came to removing my wisdom teeth. I could not afford to use anesthesia even with my insurance so I went with local anesthetic. I was terrified to be awake for the procedure. Dr. Moody made what I assumed would be an awful experience a pretty good one. I was awake the entire time and he walked me through the process of what he was doing while removing them. I had one fully impacted tooth on the bottom, a partially impacted one on the other side of the bottom and the top two were fully emerged. Thank you Dr. Moody for getting it done right. 😁

Doctor Sanders immediately comforted me and assured me that I was officially in good hands.Within an hour, my procedure was complete and I was out the door with medicine and post surgical treatment instructions. One thing I found extraordinary is while they were doing what they needed to do to remove the dead tooth, I began to hum, uncomfortably, a little familiar tune. Doc Sanders began to hum along with me the same tune, making me remember that everything was fine, which let me know that he cared greatly about my comfort. Thanks again to this amazing and friendly staff. If I could give 0 stars I would, along story short I called about 2 weeks in advance to schedule with the root canal specialist because I have curved roots on some of my molars and my general dental office did not have the equipment to accommodate it, which is totally understandable. So I go ahead and schedule and I’m greeted in a nice way so far everything is great for a phone call when I schedule. Fast forward to the day before my visit on the 4th of December, I called today to double check the time for my appointment tomorrow and I am told there is no history of me every scheduling and that they never spoke to me basically, meanwhile I have proof from my own general dental office from my dental offices manager at the Sunwest (which is awesome!) and I have receipts from calling but that’s OK I told the secretary that things happen and I understand and no worries! I totally get it things happen but keep in mind I’ve already requested the time off from work for this and I’ve been in pain every night since I scheduled two weeks prior. So I ask the secretary if I could speak to her manager to see if maybe she can help us work something out as I’ve been experiencing a lot of pain, in the middle of my sentence the secretary cuts me off and puts me on hold. Mind you the whole time before that she wouldn’t let me speak and was getting very loud and speaking very quickly when all I was saying was no worries it happens. So I get transferred to the manager and the manager was literally a REPLICA of the secretary, just as hysterical, very mean toned and strict id day, I would understand if I was being rude and insulting and demanding but I was repeatedly saying I get it, no worries, I totally understand it happens to all of us. The manager DOROTHY, then started demanding information I made a point to send to them all over again and at the end she never apologized for her behavior or her secretary and at one point I had to tell a grown women, a manager to calm down that everything was ok and there was no need to become hysterical, I kindly asked her name and said thank you Dorothy and said goodbye at the end of the call to which she replied “MHMMMM” and hung up. DO NOT COME TO THIS DENTIST. As soon as something goes wrong they freak out and don’t have a good sense of leadership in office for the secretaries as well as having difficulty handling pressure or hard situations. If that’s how they reacted to someone who was being nice and understanding I can’t imagine how they act with people in distress over pain which IS their profession. I called my general dental office and spoke to the manager and she was so sweet and apologetic and said “I DONT WANT YOU GOING THERE, I WILL REFER YOU TO SOMEONE ELSE” and I was relieved ♥️! So thank you! To SUNWEST DENTAL for having a real manager with a good head on her shoulders and please avoid this oral surgeon place if you’re in any distress or are gonna be needing any comfort or warmth in your journey to healing any teeth.

This has been one of the worst visits I have had. I was only going in for a a consultation on my wisdom teeth. They were very behind on appointments, I was taken into one of the operatories an 1.5 hrs later. I had asked to use one of the phones because the battery of mine ran out, one of them acted as of a call went in and another hesitated; both rolled their eyes at me. Another that took my xrays was rough on me. I was in middle of taking my earrings off when he yanked one of my arms to the handle, and he saw me taking them off. Overall it was a terrible experience and i should know because I also worked as a dental assistant before so I understand how the system and all runs. I known i did nothing wrong because I am able to be patient since I have experience in the field. the only thing I was satisfied with was the way the doctor himself treated me. Both my son and daughter were referred here by Palm Dental. Consult appointment was fine for wisdom extractions. On their second visit to have the extraction done was terrible! After their visit I drove straight to our local CVS pharmacy to drop off their prescriptions to be filled for pain (antibiotic were never given to prevent infection). Well 20 minutes later I receive a call from pharmacy saying they are unable to fill my kids prescription for Vicodin as the surgeons license has expired!!!! By this time my kids where both in pain and stuck with out pain medication. The only thing I could give them was ibuprofen which did nothing for them. They had to go on for the rest of the evening and through out the night with pain! The oral surgeons office was close already and there was nothing I could do for them. The next morning I immediately call them and explain our situation and there was no apology given from the secretary’s part. Secretary then continue with saying she doubt that the doctors license is expired and that should contact doctor to see what could be done. One hour later I still hear nothing from Secretary so I call again to ask on status of my kids pain medication. Another Secretary answers and tells me the doctor isn’t in and that they are working on getting the prescription for my kids. Keep in mind my kids are still in pain from the previous evening, it’s 9am and nothing has been resolved. I am so disappointed and very irate that my kids had to go through this horrible experience. I definitely will not be taking my kids here nor will I recommend it!
