Repair guy showed up to ‘fix’ my GE wall oven. I have had numerous service calls with this unit and original one was replaced. Same problem now. Intermittent power to the control panel. Guy comes in, unit powers up, I said yeah, that’s the deal. Intermittent. More off than on. I was a little testy, but about GE, not the guy, yet. I said it would be unacceptable to just say ‘well it’s working now’. That’s what he does. Like a little baby packs up his repair bag and starts to leave. I ask for his name and he keeps walking. I demand his name and he gets in his car and just leaves. Not being a Karen here. Seriously. I had no idea who he was or who he works for. Called GE and they told me the company name that the work was farmed out to. Set up an appointment for over a week from now with another sub. No oven. No microwave. Had to go buy a counter top one. So, complaint is about GE, and this company. I will call company soon and can guess how that will go.

When GE Appliances Customer Support assigns you a service technician for warranty work, you have no choice. I was nearing the 1-year warranty deadline and needed to have a broken shelf rail repaired on the fridge door. I contacted GE Warranty service to set up a tech visit. We received a text message from ASCUSA (UNIVERSAL TV TECHS, INC.) to schedule an appointment. The service tech arrived on time and on schedule. He diagnosed that because of how the inside of the door is made, the fridge door would need to be replaced. He photographed the door and the Serios no/model no.We waited a week, received a text saying WO 109135 had been closed. “Warranty repair work was denied. WO is closed out.” I recontacted GE Appliances and while on the line, GE Customer Service Contacted ASCUSA, who indicated that tech did not provide photos and had not provided feedback on problem. Since two weeks had transpired, we were now past the end of the warranty. GE considered us “out-of-warranty.”I cannot believe the level of total incompetence demonstrated by both ASCUSA (UNIVERSAL TV TECHS, INC.) and GE Appliances for sub-contracting service calls to them. GE was adamant that they would not cover the warranty issues. ACUSA insisted we had to contact GE. It was the circle of death. The GE Customer Support person was rude, overbearing, would not listen and had the customer services attitude of a mosquito. I will never purchase a GE product again, nor can I entertain every using an incompetent firm like ASCUSA (UNIVERSAL TV TECHS, INC.) again! How do these companies stay in business?

I had to utilize this company through the extended warranty that I had on a washer I bought at Lowe’s, and would never voluntarily use them again.When I set my “appointment” for 8:00-12:00 on a Monday, I expected to actually have an appointment of some sort, and stayed home from work for the morning. The technician was supposed to call in advance of arriving. When no-one had shown or called after several hours, I called the office to confirm someone was still coming. I was told that my “appointment” had been cancelled, and that they had NO PLAN TO NOTIFY ME about that. They seemed to think they were being gracious by offering me a 1:00-5:00 “appointment” for the following afternoon. I took it, thinking by the next evening I would have a functioning washing machine. Silly me. So I stayed home from work the following afternoon, as well. Did I need to? The technician finally showed up at 4:50. It took him about 10 minutes to say “yup, your machine doesn’t work.” They had no plans to fix it; just diagnose it. He said they needed to order a part (and that they might have one in the office).After over a WEEK, I called back to see about the part. It turns out that after an entire week, the part had just been ordered THAT DAY. I was given the excuses “we’ve been very busy” and “the guy who orders parts was out.”Apparently these people are making plenty of money somewhere, and have no need to be responsive to customers. I’m sure that I (and all readers of this) can do better elsewhere.

This company is THE WORST OF THE WORST when it comes to appliance repair. My washer warranty company sent this company when my washer started making awful noises and then stopped spinning. One person initially came to determine what the issue was. It took more than a week for him to come spend 10 minutes looking at my washer. He told me what he thought the issue was and said he would order parts. I then had to wait for parts to arrive at my house. Once the parts arrived, I made a call to schedule them to put the parts in. It took another week or so for them to come to install them. They get to my house, there are now 2 guys, because of the amount of work involved. One guy was the initial guy who came. I asked if they could put the washer in my carport area to work on it because Id just put my son down for a nap and because there is a very small amount of room to do the repairs. They said OK, but I would have to put it there myself. I said OK. I was pushing the washer down the hallway and one guy offered to help, even though he said he shouldnt. I appreciated the help as this thing is heavy. We got the washer outside. They did the work. When they were done, they plugged it in while still outside and said that it wasnt making noise any longer. I was so happy. I asked them if they were taking the broken parts with them. They said no, I would have to contact the warranty company for a return label. I was thinking oh, great, there were 2 huge boxes. I said OK. They then said that my husband would have to help me put the washer back. HOWEVER, they told their employer that I REFUSED to allow them to put the washer back. This couldnt have been farther from the truth and I had a LOT of laundry to get done and now I had to wait til my husband came home to get help to put it back in the house. Well, after they left, I was cleaning the inside of the washer and realized they didnt put the silicone part back that seals the door! That was a part they ordered and it was in a box in the discard pile. They hadnt said a word about it not being put in. I immediately called the company, which is when I found out about them saying I refused to allow them to put the washer back. I asked about the part not put in and they said it had a slice in it and they told me that the technician TOLD ME that there was a slice in it and they couldnt put it in. Well, that is a LIE. This whole company is a lie and a joke. If you dont believe me, read the other reviews!!!! Anywho, once my husband came home and helped me install it, we ran a load. Well, it had been running about 10 minutes and I realized that it should be running and not still filling with water. My husband goes back there and there is WATER EVERYWHERE!!!! It has gone through the wall into our closet, into my sons room and in his closet and into my room and all the way under my bed. We had to use every clean and dirty towel in the entire house to soak up the water. But, guess what, this company isnt taking blame because they didnt install it. Go freaking figure. Well, its a bit of a gray area there, because the truth is they didnt install it. But, its their own fault. I would NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. The warranty company said they needed to come back in to fix their leak issue and I REFUSED to allow them in my home again. After all the lies they said about me and all the lies they said to me. I called the warranty company and made a complaint. The warranty company said that is the ONLY way for garbage companies like this one to be taken off their list.SO, IF YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT AGAINST THIS COMPANY, REPORT IT HERE, BUT ALSO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE WARRANTY COMPANY, OR THEY WILL KEEP SENDING PEOPLE LIKE THIS TO HOUSES TO FIX STUFF. They dont fix stuff. They dont do anything. They lie, repeatedly. PLEASE DONT USE THIS COMPANY, EVEN IF THEY ARE THE CHEAPEST, THE ARE THE FARTHEST FROM THE BEST!!!!!!!

I would put zero stars if I could. Our warranty for our dryer through Home Depot has been the biggest joke and waste of time and money. Its day 12 and this company still hasnt returned my calls or shown up to an appt time. So now we get to start all over with another company, that I assume will give me the same run around. I do not recommend this company.

My appointment was pushed back 3 days in a row and not once was I informed. Once the tech finally came out, he said that he would have to order parts after I had to point out to him what needed to be done and how to fix the issue. Then, a week went by before I had to contact the company again to find out what was going on. Apparently, because I removed the track on my refrigerators freezer door, the technician could not work on my refrigerator because I had attempted the repair myself. Im not sure what constitutes repair to this company but the only thing I attempted to do was save the food in my refrigerator. The track on my freezer was damaged and I could not close my freezer door. So, I removed the track to be able to close the freezer and prevent all of my food from spoiling. I have used numerous repair companies in this valley and I have never dealt with a company so full of incompetent people who are both grossly inconsiderate and lazy. If you want your time wasted, give this company a call.

No call no show! Lowes set them up for service and nobody showed up. Dont use this company. Lowes could not get a hold of them to see why.

Total crap company. Waited for an appointment that was supposed to be between 8-12, its 3 pm and they are still no shows, no ETA call, no apologies from the company. I will be billing them for my time. You cant pull this with a doctors office, hair appointment, etc. Unbelievable! Lack of customer service. Already reported them to LG and asked for new company to come out. YOU GUYS SUCK!!!

This place sucks....they wont stand behind their work. Stay away from this place!! They do crappy work, then wont come back to fix thier mistakes. The b.t.h that answers the phone is rude and sounds like she has a 5th grade education. They will never get my business again thats for sure!!

Liars and cheats, except one honest technician.Washer broke, Samsung techs referred me to this company. If anything was under warranty this company was to contact Samsung for parts and I would not be charge, but a diagnosis was needed.Initial diagnosis was a couple bad sensors which would cost me $189, partially covered by warranty. A few days later they called to say they wanted to replace the motor, clutch, some sensors, and the basket since they were all covered under warranty. However, I was to cover labor, which would be $359!Why would I do that, replace perfectly good parts and eat the labor costs?So they come out a few days later to replace all these parts and the tech opens the rear access panel to discover the drain pump broke off and was hanging from the wire harness. He says this is the problem, wonders aloud who diagnosed this thing, and why would his own company want to replace all these parts for no reason.He goes on to inform me this is a known issue and under recall warranty which should be free. He couldnt promise it would be free, but in his experience it was to other customers. He doesnt have the part, so he leaves without doing any repair. He is the honest guy.Next day, a different tech who is also a manager comes out, replaces the part, charges me $150. I pay it, he leaves. I look at the invoice and it shows $150 labor for 3 hours work to replace those original four major parts (motor, clutch, basket, sensors).Im thinking this was a 30 min job and I should pay $25, or it should be free since it was under recall. I call Samsung, they confirm it should have been free since it was a known defect under recall.This is a predatory company, trying to double bill (me and Samsung). They wanted to replace perfectly good parts since they were under warranty, but stick me with the labor costs. They want $75 for a diagnosis but wouldnt even open the access panel and perform a physical inspection!Not only do they rob their direct customers, they rob the manufacturer, trying to replace non-defective parts since they are warrantied, which only drives up the cost of future products! Never use this company or the parent company SOCAL TECH, INC.

I contacted Lowes on April 9th because my washer needed new bearings! Lowes contracted with Universal TV Techs to fix my washer. Universal TV Techs came out on the April 10th one day earlier than expected. They told me I would need new TUB & Barrel and would be calling me to set up an appointment to instal the parts. I called Universal TV Techs. on April 15th to find out what my status on when they would be replacing the parts. I was told the parts were in and I would be receiving a call to set up an appointment by the end of the day. I waited until the 19th and had NOT received ANY calls at all from Lowes or Universal TV Techs. And again I was told by Lowe and Universal TV Techs they would be calling me by the end on the day on April 23rd. So today I called Lowes who called Universal TV Techs and an appointment was made for them to come to my house Thursday April 25th only to be called back ten minutes later to be told they would TRY to come on Friday the 26th ... calling back again a third time to tell me they were coming this afternoon and again for the fourth calling to cancel the appointment because Universal TV Techs had NOT ordered the right parts!I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!THEY ARE RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

I just passed one of their trucks on the freeway because he was going too slow and he took it pretty personal,he came up next to my van flipping me off f u and all that then he threw his coffee at my truck, I WOULD NOT want this guy in my house around my children

They were supposed to fix a microwave, under contract with Samsung. They cancelled the work order without informing me, and when I called to check the status they were rude on the phone. They lied about the order, accusing me of cancelling it, then accused me of lying.

Appointment set through GE Services and they never showed. After talking to GE Services I was told the company sent their paperwork that showed the service completed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
