I ended up having my personal storage drive fail, which included things like tax returns, credit reports, loan documents - overall, critical documents that were no longer in paper form. Chandler Data Professionals was recommended to me by my works system administrator, who had used Toms services in the past and was very pleased - sentiments I can echo 100 times over. I called up Tom on a Saturday, and he told me to come on down after I explained what my errors were. Based on his preliminary assessment and my errors, he was not going to sugar coat it and that my drive was severely damaged to the point it could potentially fail during the recovery process. I accepted that and wished him best of luck, and boy did he come through! Tom worked on my data recovery for over five weeks, keeping me updated through videos, texts, calls and emails with the status of the drive recovery. Due to the damage on the drive, both of us were cautiously optimistic as we ran each file type extension, crossing fingers and toes that the drive did not catastrophically fail mid-way. Fast forward to last Sunday: the final verdict was only 38 files completely unrecoverable out of over 160GB of files!!! I was absolutely over the moon with the level of customer service and updates that Tom provided, keeping me informed of the entire process. I called Tom on a whim to ask about recovering data from a RAID5 array. Im pretty technical but this was a dicey situation for me. Not only did he take a ton of time explaining different options he actually gave me a suggestion that allowed me to get my data back on my own. We had a hard drive that crashed - HARD - and our regular computer guy wasnt able to retrieve any data from it. I found Tom at Chandler Data Professionals and read all the great reviews on Google, so decided to see if he would even want to attempt a recovery. Im so glad I did!Tom was able to retrieve 99.9% of the files on the hard drive. He was very informative and let us know what was happening during the process. (It took a few weeks - like I said, this hard drive was pretty messed up.) I had photos, documents and music files that I really didnt want to lose, and Tom was able to save all of it! Normally I dont post reviews, BUT I HAD to for Tom. Tom is a really pleasant guy who REALLY knows his stuff. He has all the equipment and knowledge you would expect from someone who has been in the data recovery business for over a decade. After taking my product to another company (Data Doctors), I wish I had gone to Tom first. Tom not only explained to me the process, but he actually sat me down, showed me what was going on with a quick scan of the drive and explained it all in a way that anyone can understand. Tom works hard and goes above and beyond to attempt to get your data back for you. He also provided me with different options with providing my data, making 2 or 3 different versions which almost no other company would do. All of the things Tom did for me are very time consuming especially when you have a crashed 1 TB HDD like I do that was about 75% full. Even with all of the things going on, it took him about 3 weeks and I got everything back from my drive minus about 30-40 items that were not necessary anyway. I think Tom’s pricing is fair for his effort and it’s not as bad as what LARGE companies would charge you to retrieve your data. Tom’s recovery service was worth every penny and I would recommend him to anyone having data recovery issues! Thanks Tom!

Even though my hard drive was beyond recovery, I truly enjoyed dealing with Tom. He was always upfront in terms of the pricing and the timeline, and even took 24-plus hours to examine my hard drive FOR FREE to see if any data could be recovered. I am a photographer and I had the horrible luck of having my hard drive AND my external hard drive die at the same time causing me to lose wedding photos.
