Gemma was so sweet. Always seemed to be in good mood. She altered two dresses for me. One of which was my bridesmaid dress that she got done quickly. She was able add two inches to the dress for me as the bottom half was little tight. It fit perfectly now! I couldnt be any happier!

I cannot recommend Gemmas for bridal alterations. The owner, who is the one who works directly with the brides, is not capable of handling the amount of work that her business has. She explained that she cannot find knowledgeable seamstresses here, which I understand. But her prices do not reflect what minimal service is provided.My daughters dress cost $940 to alter! Every time we arrived for our appointment, she would make us wait at least half an hour. An employee would explain that she was working on the dress. This happened four or five times (it always seemed to be the final fitting) and we realized that she was so behind in her work that she only worked on the dress when we arrived. The quality of her work looked rushed and imperfect, while she would assure us that it was how it was supposed to be. We gave up trying to fix the problem areas the day before the wedding! My daughter, who never complains, was sad about her dress. It was never right.

Gemma is amazing! She is so kind and knew exactly how to alter our bridesmaids dresses so they will fit perfectly and beautifully. Our appointment only lasted 30 minutes and there were 2 of us! I cant wait to see them once they are completed! So glad we found her!

I had a formal dress hemmed and taken in around the shoulders last year. Well done but more expensive than what I expected. I would have come back but unfortunately, Gemma only does bridal now.

Gemma did a great job on my wedding dress! She suggested alterations that I didnt think I needed but that made the dress look and fit me so much better. I loved how it turned out and got so many compliments on the dress. Staff was friendly and easy to work with. You get to go in for multiple fittings to make sure it is perfect as you get closer t your big day! I would highly recommend using her for any alterations needs.

I came into her shop with big dreams and a short time frame for what I wanted done with my bridal gown.Not only did she give me what I wanted and more, but she was so incredibly communicative and professional throughout the entire process! I have nothing but nice things to say about Gemma and her team. Quick, professional, clean. The best of the best. I bought my wedding dress used and it was a little dingy but in great condition. It was about a half size/whole size too big and had straps that were too long. It also had a silk lining that I was told would be hard to clean unless I take it to someone good. Gemma was able to make it fit like a glove and I love that she cleans it between each fitting. My dress looked brand new and I could not have asked for anything better.

Gemma is a flat out magician! My wedding dress was a bit complicated - there was built in boning that needed to be tweaked, the underskirt needed to be changed, and it needed to be fitted to my specific proportions. By the time Gemma was done, the dress looked like it had been custom made just for me. The process was painless, efficient, and made great use of my time when I was already busy with all of the other wedding commitments. Gemmas prices are also more than fair for her incredible work. She has a great eye for accessories, what will look good, and how colors work together (even when youre just trying to work together shades of white which is infinitely more complex than anyone could ever expect). I cant recommend Gemma and her friendly staff highly enough!

Terrible experience. Went in to get a quote to see how much it would cost and they told me I had to pay it all in full that day even though I told them I did not have the money since I was getting a new card sent in the mail and asked to come back. The lady (not Gemma) became so rude and then tried charging me 35 dollars for spending time with me even though I was never told. I was going to go back once I had my new card but will never go back again. Will warn anyone I know to NEVER go here. The lady then threw my dress in my bag and did not even say a word to me.

Recently moved to the new location. Wonderful company, stage is great, area is clean. Wife has had several dress alterations done by them and always happy with the work. Affordable too.

I went to get my dress altered and decided that it was way too expensive. The alteration was more than I paid for the dress. For the same price I could buy a new one. Also, my dress would not be done til the last day that I needed it so if it didnt fit there would be nothing I could do (2 weeks!). So I decided to just to buy a dress that fit. I called first thing in the morning and had someone pick it up that day. They had done no work on my dress but they decided to charge me $7 anyways. The owner said that it was a card transaction merchant fee that was not refundable. Merchant fee are never that much. Every business Ive been to, except this one, clearly posts the CC fee (Usually less than $2). So are they charging people $7 extra if they pay cash? This is very bad business. They are not allowed to do this without informing the customer what the fee will be. They also charged my card that day and gave me a check for a refund. I should report them to the BBB.Expensive, too long, bad business practices, inconvenient

I needed my pageant gown sized down and hemmed and a custom made Filipino bolero in a span of three weeks. Gemma and the staff were easy to work with, attentive and helpful from the get-go. For the most part pretty happy. I had to get a bridesmaids dress altered, mainly the length. A little on the expensive side, but worth it for a job well done. Only complaint is, if Im spending $50 or more there, youd think theyd at least steam it.

Gemma is wonderful! My wedding dress fit pretty well initially, but after she was finished with it, it fit like a glove! She is super experienced and you can tell youre in good hands from your first appointment with her. Gemma understood my vision from the start and offered great suggestions and ideas. I had my dress taken in, a belt sewn on, back buttons reinforced, the length taken up, lace added to the neckline, and straps reconstructed a bit. I was looking for someone to add a bustle and a custom bolero jacket to my dress but was having trouble finding anyone who would alter a dress that wasnt theirs... until I was referred to Gemmas. The bustle and custom bolero jacket they made for me were perfect! They also recommended a few small alterations that made my dress WAY easier to wear. The alterations were exactly as expected and there were no issues at all. What really impressed me about Gemma and her awesome staff was how they made me feel. I am a plus size - jeans and t-shirt bride and felt very nervous and self conscious about wearing a big fluffy dress and being the center of attention. With their wonderful personalities, kind words, and excellent alterations, Gemma and her staff made me feel absolutely stunning in my dress! When I walked down the aisle I did so with confidence! The alterations were affordable, and the experience was priceless! I will definitely recommend Gemmas to every bride I know!
