First time in this establishment and the two gentleman at the front desk were unbelievably respectful and nice. They spoke to me very kindly and were really friendly! I appreciated the level of work they did as well as being nice enough to tell me honestly some fair priced and reliable places for me to get tires. They didn’t try to overcharge me as a woman, and no “pulling the wool over your eye”. Ladies you know what I’m talking about on this one! They were absolute gentleman and my car is working GREAT! Will be continuing my business here for a LONG TIME!
Frankie is the MAN! This gentleman is honest, caring and efficient. I went into the dealership for an oil change and the next day my car is making an awful noise. Brought it back to the dealership and they diagnosed it with a $1700 problem.I was referred to Joe’s Auto by a friend and Frankie happily helped me out. In 4 minutes he test drove my car, put it on the lift, diagnosed AND resolved the issue. Dealerships will take you for a ride and sucker you for money. Frankie at Joe’s Auto will treat you fairly and give an honest opinion and recommendation. I’ll be going to Joe’s Auto from here on out and asking for Frankie. What a stand up guy!
I just moved to AZ and was looking for a new place to service my t2016 Chevy Colorado. Aaron was very kind, professional and helping. Joes Auto did a great job, they were efficient, friendly and answered all my question about my new truck. These guys are great!!!
First time customer and very impressed! Brought my trusty OLD Subaru Forester in when running hot and AC warming up. They found the problem (inoperable fan), recharged AC system and changed coolant. I’ve been to Joe’s several times over the last few years and they are always quick, efficient and professional. I scheduled my oil change a few days in advance by phone. When I arrived I got checked in right away and they got to work immediately after. So much better than waiting at the dealership for hours! I’ll be back. 😀

Repaired a smashed side mirror, same day 1 hour.. I order it online and brought it in. Starbucks open across the street, so was able to get some work done in the meantime. Labor rates about the same as everyone, I believe.
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! passing thru town had a check engine light flashing thought for sure i was going to be stranded til Monday called less than an hour before they closed on a Saturday and FRANKIE said he could get it taken care of and he did in less than half an hour I was back on my way! I’ve used Joes twice now. The first time was when my check engine light came on a couple weeks before my tags were due. They took care of me immediately. When I went to pick up my car they told me about my battery needing replaced instead of being shifty like I’ve heard of some mechanics doing to get more business. The second time I went to joes, I had come from having a HORRIBLE experience at an ammco. They took care of me and fixed what ammco messed up. Had a great experience on my visit...just needed AC done cause I got the mailer coupon. Got me in quick and provided excellent experience..didnt try to upsell me either. The Service Manager Aaron was great, Ill ask for him when I go back.

My car is a 2006 Ford Escape with over 160k miles on it that I am trying to make last until I retire 5 years from now. It was Friday, July 3, 2020, when the air conditioning went out in my car. I pulled into Joe’s in Chandler (southwest corner Dobson and Warner) for a quick diagnosis. The Service Manager, Eric, immediately took my car into the shop in an effort to get the air conditioning fixed before the long July 4th holiday weekend. It was late in the day and they worked hard to replace my compressor. When I picked it up around 6:00 pm the shop was buttoned up tight for the holiday weekend and my air conditioning was blowing icicles. As I drove it over the weekend, I noticed it was running rough. I called Eric and he had me bring it back in to diagnose the problem. As one might guess with a car this old, there were some associated complications, yet Joe’s Auto stood behind their work and fixed the problems. In past reviews, I was not happy with Joe’s Auto. Now that they have a new Service Manager, I am delighted. I take back every concern I had with Joe’s Auto and give it an enthusiastic thumbs up as a service that stands by their work and will see a problem to the end.
Nice, honest folks. They dont try to add extra things on just to get more money. I highly recommend them.

$30 for oil change no thank you. Lots Id places charge $21 so I went to my shop that I trust. I wouldnt go back to Joes I wanted to go because I live near and I could walk but yeah not worth it.
Had them work on both our tow vehicle, a Toyota Tundra, and our travel trailer. They redid the bearings on the trailer, and did it the old-fashioned way of cleaning them and repacking them. Good prices, nice guys, didnt feel like they tried to sell me anything I didnt need.
I brought my vehicle in for an oil change. I was told it would take an hour, so I come back about 80 minutes later and they hadnt even begun to work on my vehicle. I stood in the lobby for 5 minutes without the office manager even acknowledging me. I had to ask him what was happening with my vehicle even though he had been standing there ignoring me the whole time. Every answer he had for me was dripping in attitude and contempt. I would not recommend subjecting yourself to the horror of am experience this place is sure to bring you.
Fair pricing straight forward and honest
First, let me start by saying i never write reviews. But this guy was so rude i couldnt help but give him a big shout out (Micheal who answers phones.) Ive been to Joes before, made an appointment over the phone and was in and out with no problem. This time i had the pleasure of speaking with Micheal, who proceeded to speak with arrogance and incorrect information, that i ended the conversation not even getting an appointment. i get its an Auto shop but customer service isnt DEAD and still applies to your line of work. Long story short, good luck getting an appointment when Micheal answers the phone.

Used a Groupon for a high mileage oil change. Got a new air filter while I was there. Quick and easy. Fair prices. Polite, professional service. Will return for future work.
I went in for a coolant flush/radiator flush and power steering fluid change.. I spoke with Jeff who was great. I asked if he could match the Groupon deal which was no problem. He then told me my car did not need power steering fluid change. I asked if he could do a tune up for my car which we did. I walked out with a coolant radiator flush and tune up for under $150. It really helped with my budget. My car is running great. I really appreciate Jeff and the mechanics there that helped me. They were very professional and had me in and out in less than a couple of hours. I appreciate that and will be back. Thanks Joe’s Auto.

STAY AWAY!!!Joes auto will RIP YOU OFF! I’m a young woman in my 20’s. I went in for a diagnostic test and they found that on my 2016 Jetta, the air pressure actuator needed to be replaced. They quoted me $1200! I knew they were trying to take advantage of me! Based off of the conversation on the phone the guy at the front desk was just rushing me trying to get me to okay a $1200 repair! I take wonderful care of my care and knew that I did not need a repair that high in cost! I took the car to another mechanic shop and the mechanic found the same problem.. this mechanic was HONEST he said the part is about $300 and the labor is one hour and $150 for labor. Joes Auto was trying to charge my $900 for labor for a job that is one hour! Shame on you for taking advantage of people! Especially in these tough times! You lose referrals and loyal customers by trying to take advantage of people and being dishonest. STAY AWAY! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!
I brought in my car for an oil change and brake replacement. The guy in the office, Mike, has no customer service skills. He told me it would take 3-4 hours so I left the car with them at 11:30am and returned at 4pm. The brakes parts had just arrived when I got there. At 5:30pm Mike tells me the rear brakes are the wrong ones and there is nothing they can do to help me at this time. I told him this is my only car and I have to pick up my kids but he just stood there without coming up with a solution. It took me speaking with the mechanic who said he will stay late to fix the issue. They had only one mechanic staffed on a thursday with a full garage. On top of everything, they didnt were hesitant on applying any coupons that were available on the website. Very disappointed!
Absolutely love this shop! I am always met with knowledgeable and pleasant employees, especially Jeff who always seems to go out of his way to make the experience a good one. I take my Cadillac CTS Coupe to Joe’s Auto and they always take excellent care of my car and treat it as it’s their own. I always took my car to the Cadillac dealer until I found this shop. Their prices and turn around time cannot be matched by the dealer. I would recommend this shop with no hesitation, and actually already have. Thank you Jeff and Joe’s Auto for being so awesome!

Ive gone twice to get my oil changed here. They did the job quickly and the guy was very personable. Prices were fair also.
After waiting in line for 20 mins after my appointment time for an oil change, listening to another customer try to resolve being overcharged, I was told by an incredibly rude little man that they would be unable to perform my oil change because my vehicle has an interlock. I offered to start it and pull it in if it would help, but I was told that unless my interlock was disabled they would not honor the Groupon I had already paid for and that they were busy. Definitely would not recommend doing business here.

So far so good, the gentleman honored my Groupon and was friendly. (Oil change ) was quick and NO HIDDEN FEES just your standard oil recycling fee. And offered nothing else. In other words they were not aggressive and this kind of customer service makes you feel trust worthy and worth coming back for any type of work.

I took my car to Joes Auto to repair an issue with over heating. They charged me $850 dollars and told me it is fixed. A little while later, my car started to have the same issue again, as it started heating up again. So l took it back to them. They supposedly fixed the same problem of over heating once again. This time they charged me $450 dollars. The next day, my car over heated again. However, this time, they did not want to have any thing to do with my car. After having my car looked at by others, l was told that l have to change the engine. Yesterday l had my car towed and l stopped at their shop and took pictures of my car on the AAA flatbed truck in front of their location. I told them what had happened. But l was told not to bring my car to them. They were trying to deny all responsibilities. This happened in the Chandler location on Warner and Dobson. Jeff, who is the manager of that shop, was the person who handled everything to do with my car. He saw an elderly disabled woman walk in to their shop and took complete advantage of me. He took my money twice for fixing the same problem, which had to do with my car over heating. But he never fixed it, because the same problem came recurring again and again. He intimidated me so that l would not pursue this matter. Needless to say that he scares me and intimidates me. I fear him and fear getting hurt by him, as he has screamed at me; hang up the phone on me; and intimidated me. It seems to me that he would stop at nothing to make this problem vanish in to the ground, like it never happened. Moreover, l have been trying for days to try and speak to the main manager or the owners, but he has circumvented me from being able to reach them.Jeff from Joes Auto Repair has destroyed my car by telling me he had fixed it when he had not. He gave me the green light to drive it the first time, which caused the serious damages that l am now dealing with. He supposedly fixed my car twice, and took my money each time. However, by not fixing it and charging me, he took advantage of an an elderly disabled woman who knew nothing about cars. But even worse, by telling me that it is all fixed the first time and telling me that l am good to go, he has caused much more damage, meaning more serious damage to my car, to the point that l have to replace the whole engine.Jeff refused to do anything about the problem that he caused. He had also blocked me from being able to reach any one with authority in their Company to look in to this problem in order to try and solve it. What has happened to me is truly unjust. If nothing gets done, this would be the biggest injustice; to be taken advantage of, just because l am a woman.Furthermore, screaming at me and intimidating me should not be the answer.I believe that this could happen to any woman who would walk in there without a protector.I have tried for days to reach the owners or someone with authority, but Jeff has managed to block me.At this point, l am warning other women to be careful before they walk into Joes Auto Repair Shop, so that they dont have to go through the same or similar nightmare as l am going through.
The team was nice and got the work done in a timely manner. I am disappointed that I mentioned the Groupon they have for an oil change for $31 + tax and oil disposal. They told me they would match the Groupon price without me having to buy it, which I was more than happy to do because I would rather give them the money. However, my bill did not match the Groupon price and when I brought it up, they told me that it was because of the added fees. However, my itemized bill still listed the base price incorrectly + the tax and oil disposal. I was told that the price was still cheaper than the Groupon in the end because of fees hidden in the fine print, so I signed the bill. However, upon reviewing my Groupon, I saw that that was not true and they simply charged me more than I was promised. The price difference was only about $8. However, I feel discouraged that they made an excuse instead of matching the price like they told me they would. It feels dishonest and, especially in an industry where it is so easy to get swindled, I dont feel I can trust them with future car work.
I am very pleased with the quality and value and customer service experience that I received from Joes Auto Repair at their Chandler location. I shopped around before I decided to go with this company fir my struts replacement and again, I am very glad for choosing them!
Ive been here a few times and with different cars. They dont mind my 5 year old taking up the whole floor at 9am so they definitely get high 5s. 😁🤪 The do an excellent job and have never tried to sell me something I dont need so as far as my go-to these guys won me and I totally recommend them to anyone. . Take them popsicles in July, they deserve it lol 😊

After being a dedicated and loyal customer for over 10 years and probably put more money into that shop that I could have bought a brand new car. I decided to bring my car in I was not told there was a diagnostic fee he stays he told my son there was a diag fee Ive never had a diag fee. In the past they would look at the vehicle and tell me how much it was and Id say yes or no. Any how long story short he stated it needed a fuel pump and it would be $1,200 to replace the car is a 2004 its not even worth $2,000 at this point he states he could only order from the Kia store and not like a cheaper part we can get a fuel pump for under $100 online. I spoke to Lars who is now district manager and I worked with him in the past he was very nice at the time but I guess management must have gotten to his head. He stood behind his customer service rep stating I should have asked how much the diagnostic fee was it significant companys responsibility to let you know? Shady deal and then to order such an expensive part. well needless to say we ordered our fuel pump online for under $100 went to another automotive repair shop very highly known and they put it in and we walked out the door with $162. Shop around folks this is a rip-off this was not a 2019 vehicle this was a 2004 old vehicle that did not need to have $1,200 put back into it. I do not recommend run guys run they just lost four cars and I will tell anybody and everybody who listens this is a shady ripped off company thats what happens when greed gets in the way!

Called to inquire about a same day oil change after purchasing a groupon and the person I spoke to didn’t seem like they wanted my business, so I took it somewhere else. I understand that you might be busy, but making it seem like it is a hassle to talk to someone isn’t a good way to get business.
I am in love with Joes already. Full oil change and tire and brake inspection in under 40 mins!!!! Ill be back to service my AC here next.

Stay away from this place. Two 2 creepy looking mechanics were there. There were no cars for them to work on. They took 30 seconds to look at my car and decided that I needed about 2000 dollars worth of work I took the car to another mechanic and only needed a water pump which was about 200 bucks. Theres definitely something weird about this place.
Joes used to be a good place to get quality work done, but the last 6 - 8 months have gone steadily down hill. Theyve gotten very bad with important details and overall quality has suffered. Ive been using Joes for the last 4 - 5 years but I dont trust them any more.
I stopped in on Feb 5 to get my fluids flushed and oil change. They were quick and I was in and out.
Worst customer service Ive experienced at an auto shop. I called to make an appointment for an oil change and they said they dont take them for the day I wanted but I could bring it in an wait for it, no problem. When I took my car in I was initially told they dont do oil changes on Fridays. I told him thats not what I was told the day before, then he changed his mind and said I could drop it off and pick it up later. As a single mom with only one car thats not an option for me. I asked how long it would take, and was quoted 6 hours!!!! Ive never in my life heard of an oil change taking that long. I was looking for a place to continue taking my car to for repairs beyond an oil change when needed, and it will definitely not be here! I read bad reviews about this place but thought Id still try to give the local place a try, definitely not worth it!
These guys are keepers. As a female I am always pretty hesitant when the car guys tell me there is something wrong with my car. I have been misled about my car in the past so naturally I typically opt for a second opinion. Everything the guys at Joes have ever told me needs attention on any of my vehicles has always been true. These are the people I trust when it comes to my vehicle maintenance. There prices are decent too. Thank you Matt for going through the frustration of dealing with the warranty company.
The guys at Joes auto took their time to get me the parts and service I needed and provided me with a lot of info that has helped me out with the maintenance on my truck. I was a little hesitant about getting service done at a smaller shop but they did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone.

Dont trust JoesMy wife went to Joes to have the accessory socket fuse replaced in our 2010 Honda Fit. She was told it was extremely hard to get to and charged 47+ dollars to replace the fuse. It promptly burnt out again (no fault of Joes) and I took to dealer who did it in 5 minutes charging me 2.21 for fuse and 0 for labor. I confronted the manager at Joes regarding this charge stating that 47+ dollars was ridiculous given the circumstance and amount of work. I was told that is minimum charge for electrical diagnostic stating that my wife said something was wrong but she didnt know what. In actuality, she told them exactly what the car needed (fuse) so no diagnostic needed. I asked for a 30.00 refund which was refused and was offered an oil change of which I refused telling the manager I dont trust them. I feel these people are not to be trusted and took advantage of my wife as she is female

Went in for a Groupon oil change, got charged a fee. They informed me of some other problems with my vehicle, I took him outside so he could show me the issues, as he showed me I went to ask him another question and he had already started to walk back into the building. Over priced and terrible customer service.

I went here at the end of March for an oil change and at the beginning of July my engine seized sure to their mechanic not putting the filter on correctly. Now the district manager Lars is blaming me and trying to charge me for a new engine. CONSUMER beware!!!
WORST auto shop ever!!I had to change the engine oil so went in.But the associate was very unpleasant the whole time and when I asked if they checked the tire pressure, associate said mechanic did.After 2 days, a tire air pressure check light came up on dashboard, reminding me to put more air pressure into the tire. ABSURD!Would never recommend this place to anyone.
I was a technician at this location for about two weeks. I was embarrassed to tell anyone I worked with these guys. My advice to anyone looking to have their car repaired at Joes auto in Chandler to look somewhere else or risk high repair costs that are not necessary. I had an inside view personally, and I have no idea how this location is even still open.
Gave me a fair quote, informed me of other problems with my car that will need attention in the future but wasnt absolutely necessary at this time.
Took care of my needs. Gave me a list of things that I should check.. Like that there was no pressure to have thins done right then.
