I have been consistently receiving download speeds of around 1-3 Mbps for the last 2 weeks. I have called multiple times and been given the same we are looking into it message for about the last week and a half of these two weeks. These speeds are not good enough to play any online games and barely qualify to do anything more basic than loading a simple web page. Pavlov Media has been a terrible experience over this time as this barely qualifies as internet as all. Just as an anecdote, my parents rural house had higher consistent speeds than this about 10 years ago.

The University of Louisville is using Pavlov Media for off Campus Housing and it is one of the worse. It is slow and when you call Pavlov there is not answer and or assistance what a waste of money and time. I was on the phone for over 30 minutes in trying to find an answer as to why the Internet here at the University of Louisville is so slow. What a joke! The It Department at U of L do not handle this case and or issues!

10mbs ethernet upload and download maximum, and youll be lucky to get those numbers. Class, streaming video, and playing games are all nearly unusable. Contacting support gets you nowhere, despite how much they reply to reviews on google to make themselves look good. Avoid Pavlov at all costs.

The speed of the service is consistent and fine, but AVOID Pavlov at all costs if you need to have any control over your own network. My remote work requires I have ports open on my home network, Pavlov has locked their equipment down in the most draconian way possible. They refuse to let customers access their own settings, and even worse, wont allow you to even use your own equipment if you buy it! Even the mot basic things like changing a wifi password is disallowed. Imagine paying to rent a car, but being told you are only allowed to drive on a very limited set of roads they approve, its fundamentally absurd. Pavlov treats its customers like misbehaved children. I have tried contacting the company -- yet they remain unwilling to budge. The headache this causes me every single day is so incredibly frustrating.

I go to the University of Louisville and within the past few months my apartment complex has switched to Pavlov Media. The inconsistency of the connection is ridiculous and very frustrating when playing online games, In my case Valorant. I have spoken to others in the building and they are having troubles as well in games such as COD Warzone and we came to the understanding that the connection is unplayable. While I am playing Valorant it will be functioning as intended and then it randomly goes into a large time period (a few hours) of extreme amounts of packet loss and fluctuation ping resulting in an unplayable game and this issue reoccurs everyday. This is especially upsetting to me because we pay decent money for our connection and it is honestly terrible. Being in college during a pandemic is quite depressing as there is nothing that can be done for recreation as we are all cooped up inside and this leads to playing video games being the only safe activity one can do. However while trying to offload some of the stress I am being greeted with even more stress as I cannot even do what I enjoy. I am also looking into streaming and playing games to entertain others and even make a little money on the side but with how things are currently that is an impossible task. I understand things cannot always be perfect regarding stability of the connection but the poor quality of the internet is constantly an issue day to day as previously mentioned. I have made a call in the past to Pavlovs support center and I explained my issues and they were not resolved in the slightest. I am very unhappy with this product and If I were not stuck in campus housing I would switch internet providers unfortunately that is out of my control. If at all possible, Pavlov Media is best avoided at all costs.[ Just did a speed test and got less than 10mbps for my upload and download ;*( ]

I have tried to give this company a chance by contacting them multiple times. They have let me down every time with every concern I have. The internet is spotty 24/7 and you can never rely on it to get anything done. The ethernet is worse than the actual wifi so if you enjoy a steady internet connection, do not live somewhere that provides Pavlov Media. Side-note, if your apartment building provides Pavlov as an included service, think twice if you enjoy a reliable internet provider.

This is very frustrating! I love playing games and this might be the worst internet provider Ive ever seen. The connection always (without exception every 5 mins) drops to 0 kb/sec. The funny thing is, when you do a connection speed test you will see around 200 - 250 MB/sec, but that is just not what you will experience. If you love playing games or occasionally do live streaming, your connection WILL DROP to 0 KB/sec for sure! Like I would bet my life on it at any given day that the connection will drop down to 0 KB/sec within 5 min of gaming or streaming.This is really frustrating because we called the internet provider lots of times and they sent technicians, but it never helped! If you care about the above mentioned things, please check your buildings internet provider before you move in! Take care!

Generates great value for predatory landlords.

I live on 2nd street where we use Pavlov internet service. The wifi quality is horrible and they did not give us wifi for two months! Once we got the internet set up the speed is nothing like they described. It was slow and frustrating to use such a service. Highly not recommend using Pavlov media

I live in a townhouse in Urbana and it came with WiFi from Pavlov. Tested the speeds today and got 375mps download. The internet has always been good without problems streaming / gaming. Their customer service and website could be better but I haven’t really needed to contact them yet.

If I could rate 0 I would. It drops every 10 minutes and is impossible to play games or stream on.

I have had a particularly negative experience with Pavlov Media at my apartment complex in Champaign, IL. I moved into my unit without Internet, and spent the past two weeks calling customer service before they could even articulate the issue for me. Despite this back-and-forth, they either miss the deadlines they promise or refuse to provide a timeline altogether. Ive had my calls dropped multiple times waiting to speak to a representative. If you do get in touch with one, its another 30 minutes of waiting (minimum) to get in touch with a Level 2 representative that may or may not know something about your specific case. All this for a service I am currently paying for.My advice for prospective renters: make sure to check if your apartment uses Pavlov before signing your lease - its not worth the headache.

Best internet I have ever had. My connection speed is 233.07 Mbps and my download speed is 293.62 Mbps

Terrible customer service. Internet goes out often, and they take 24 hours to fix it almost every time. Terrible company, do not ever useEdit: the company has responded saying there is no service ticket under my name, this is because my roommate made the calls. I still cannot explain how miserable of a company this is, and their response was just as unhelpful as their representatives on the phone.

If zero stars was an option, that’s what I would have chose. The internet is unreliable and slow. I have continuously called pavlov to have the issue fixed where I was put on hold for an extended period of time only to be told I would receiving a call back that never came. They take weeks to fix issues and do not communicate timelines. Dates set for issues to be fixed are often surpassed. I would not recommend this internet to anyone, in fact, I would warn people to stay as far away as possible from this company.

The service and customer help are extremely bad. I have been on the line for almost an hour and have not gotten my problem resolved. I always have problems with the connection, will not have any internet or it will be extremely slow.

I moved into my apartment 2 weeks ago. If I could do 0 I would. My roommate and I called Pavlov at least 4 times in this time as our internet is constantly going out. This is at a time when we have online classes. Customer service has been unresponsive to our issues. That is when i can get a representative on the phone.

When you call their customer service, dont expect them to solve any of your problems. They are always gonna say they are gonna contact you to higher support which you cant even be sure when they are going to call you back. They will take like 30 minutes to gather your data, but they wont fix anything at that point. Like ever. You have to wait for the higher support.

I have called several times and received no help. They told me that I would receive a call back, but I received nothing (twice). I even sent an email pleading for them to come out and fix our cable, however; they have not responded.I would not work with this company if I had a choice. I would take my business somewhere more reputable that actually cares about its customers.

Our community just switched to this service and I had a little difficulty getting one of my televisions to pick up channels. I called at 10 pm one night (night owl and didnt realize the time) and the lady was very friendly. My issue was beyond her department and the supervisor was out. The very next morning the supervisor called and was extremely helpful. Tech was sent the same day. They even sent an apology letter which I thought was extremely nice of them. It wasnt a huge inconvenience but they realized their job is to provide a service that I wasnt getting for a couple of days.

My apartment complex uses this sorry excuse for a company. Our internet stops working frequently. Customer services doesn’t know how to do anything but say “your ticket has been moved to high priority”. It took them 3 days to fix during a time where I had 3 exams the next two days. If your apartment complex uses Pavlov, I recommend going elsewhere.

I live in a college town and our whole building has been without internet for four days now. Every time we call they tell us that they are still working on the problem and do not give us a estimated time for fixing the issue and what type of an issue it is. This is not the first time that the internet has gone out for more than 12h.

All the 1stars are baffling. My property has Pavlov internet included and I have not once had an issue. I fielded the complaints from many of our residents. 99.99% of the time it is due to residents purchasing cheap routers that all use the same broadcast channel. With that much interference an excellent speed gets turned into 3G speeds.My 1 gig connection is great. I regularly get over 500 mbps on my phone! Insanely good speeds.

Im not sure what the other complaints are about. Their internet speeds are fantastic. They outfit apartments with high-end routers and actively maintain the network.

Have experienced an outage once in a while, tier one support is in India and cant actually help at all. But once I got through to tier two support, it was an American, Tim, and was really helpful and kind and went out of his way to get me connected.Yet another outage now for hours and hours and hours. All day.

I signed up for a 1 year plan, and 2 months into the year, I lost connectivity. I went to great lengths to help them debug the issue, running all sorts of tests. Finally they concluded that my laptop, my roommates laptop, our phones, and TV stick were all broken, and that their network was fine. I often had to stay late at Siebel Center, simply to have internet access.

If you like random internet outages at the most inconvenient times, by all means go with Pavlov

The company clear does not care for its costumers and does not even try to make an attempt to fix its problems. If I were to compare Pavlov media to anything I would compare it to communism. Everyone gets the same thing... terrible internet. Pavlov is the disguising sweaty 40 year old in there mothers basement and when told to be productive, they just nod there head and goes right back to wacking it off to Loli hentai.

If I can give 0.5, I will give 0.5. Internet doesnt work properly, always lagging and ping spikes all the time. During night the speed will considerably go down for no apparent reason. The signal also frequently fluctuates. Overall, a huge disappointment

The quality of service Ive been experiencing makes me think this company is being run by a 40 year old in his mothers basement. I am able to comfortably use the internet for about 10-20 minutes before the connection goes out for 1-2 hours.

I havent been able to get an internet connection from my ethernet wall port, despite pestering pavlov about it for 3 weeks. I have spoken to the staff at my apartment complex, and they seem as mystified as I am. They dont touch the internet, you see. Pavlov provides internet access (or so Im told).I have called Pavlov 4 or 5 times now. My roommate has called twice. Each time, there is a different explanation for why the ethernet ports arent working, followed by an escalation to Level 2. Were given a case number and put on hold to speak to a Level 2 technician. Unfortunately, no Level 2 Technicians are available to speak. Were then told that a Level 2 Technician will call back within 24 hours. Out of the 6 combined times we have been told this, Pavlov has called back 0 times. At this point, Im not sure these fabled Level 2 Technicians actually exist.Another roommate of mine, who got his previously dysfunctional ethernet port working several months ago, says that Pavlov took about a week to call him back, so these Level 2 Technicians must have existed at some point (or so Im told). A friend of mine claims to have seen a blurry photo of one of these technicians, but hes a very superstitious person, so Im not sure I can believe him.Unfortunately, the story of the Level 2 technicians remains, like Bigfoot, a mystery. Whether urban legend or buried secret, we may never know.

Id give 0 stars if I could. Attempted to chat their support Nobody is available to chat, sorry. Fine, I call. Wait through some really awful sounding recorded messages. 10 minutes later someone answers, I explain my issue. He is obviously outside the US and speaks very little English. I repeat my issue and address 4 times, having to spell it out every time and he still doesnt understand. I use phonetics to get him to understand. He put me on hold. Five minutes later he asks for the address AGAIN, puts me on hold again. Comes back after a minute to ask me if Im sure I even have their service. I confirmed 3 different ways that Pavlov is my ISP, ask him if he wants my host name or external IP. He sounds confused by these terms and tells me to ask my leasing office like I didnt just explain I am certain its Pavlov. Puts me on hold for the 4th or 5th time, comes back after 5 minutes now a 30 minute phone call and he still cant even find my account. Asks a second time if I checked with the leasing office. I ask him if he knows what an IP address is, he tells me he wants to check with his upper level team. My original issue? My speeds keep dropping from the 200mbps I should have all the way to 0 with no explanation. Obviously Im being throttled, and they cant even work a computer to find a customer. What a joke.

One of the key selling points on my new apartment was that there was going to be fiberoptic internet connection. I move in and the first thing I notice is the internet isnt working, I then check the brand and see it have 90% 1 star rating. I feel completely decieved and now wish I found somewhere else to live. As a former employee who had to take calls and work projects with literally no end in sight- I can tell you that its not worth it to have service with Pavlov. If a property manager will not give you alternatives- live somewhere else for better internet. Trust me. Free isnt always good.

Ive been stuck with Pavlov Media for 3 weeks and Ive been without Internet for over a week of that time. I almost lost a job because I have to use a hotspot while its down. I called to get the issue fixed but it took them over 24 hours to call back and when they did I was told they couldnt sent a technician for another 6 days. I was also told theres no way to expidite the process even though my livelihood depends on a stable connection. I tried to talk to management and my request was ignored. I cant even switch providers because my complex forces me to use this garbage of a service. This company absolutely DOES NOT care about its customers. The service is unreliable and their customer service is completely useless. This is the worst company Ive ever had to deal with. A 1 star review is honestly generous for these crooks. How they remain in business is beyond me.

The customer service is good but the product has not worked for the last 3 months. They keep saying it is another companys firmware, which I do believe them but I still find this unacceptable to have customers use a product that does not work for so long. Would not recommend pavlov to anyone.

My appartment complex has an exclusive deal with Pavlov and doesn’t allow other internet providers to service the complex. It is by far the lousiest high-speed internet I’ve had the displeasure of using. Pavlov recently installed an “upgrade” to our units and the speeds were halved. When I called technical support, I was hung up on when I asked if there were any options for speed improvement. MidCo is way better than this rubbish.

Ive had pavlov internet for 2 years now and couldnt be more frustrated with the service. 3 times in the past year the internet has been down for over 10 hours, and one time we were down for 19 hours, each time with no explanation as to why.Im a college student and rely on their service in order to work on homework and take online quizzes when campus is closed. I have missed at least a dozen deadlines for projects and quizzes because of outages, and they have done nothing to improve it in 2 years. Im going to move to another apartment community just because of their internet access, or lack thereof, which is more broken than a McDonalds ice cream machine.

Sharing my experience with Pavlov Media Internet Services. The service is very unreliable and slower than mobile phone internet speeds. Xfinity internet is relatively very reliable. Avoid leasing where Pavlov Media Internet is provided (One Illinois South apartments) because any other internet service cannot be provided by other providers (Xfinity).

Asks me to verify my account too frequently. Does not let me enter my unit info so cannot reconnect to Internet. No response from customer support. Would give negative if possible.

Terrible customer service. Terrible service. I’ve called 7 times in the past 3 months because our wifi was down. They told us it would be 4 hours before anyone could get here to fix it. 40 Mbps service is only that during the early morning. During the evening, it maxes out around 11 Mbps and averages around 4 Mbps. When I contacted them, it took me three days to speak to level two support, and then the person I spoke with was extremely rude. I was told at the end that there are too many moving parts for my connection speed issues to be fixed. It went out for four days during finals week as well, so pretty mad about that still.

Actually the worst. I wish negative stars was an option. They claim to not be rookies but their service would suggest otherwise. Don’t be fooled by the 150 mbs download speed. Consistently inconsistent. My internet will drop randomly. Diarrhea soup. I would compare the durability of this ISP to the skin of a person who is prone to sunburn in winter in Antarctica at night. If you’re a fan of Pavlov then chances are you’ve never used the Internet a day in your life. The Cleveland Browns of internet service. Literally the worst cable and Internet company on the planet. The internet is down almost constantly, and when it is working, the Internet is so slow, it makes me miss dial up. Their television also goes down almost every day as well. There is not a low enough rating to give this company. Seriously. One star is too much.

Giving 1 star because 0 stars is not an option. My DSL from 1999 was more reliable than this service. When it works its fast, but it goes down frequently and since it provides tv the tv goes down as well. Even when the internet connects the tv signal is splotchy at best and I frequently lose 50 channels every 15 minutes or so. Customer support is non existent. Honestly using the hotspot on my S7 Galaxy blows this service out of the water.Overall review: if youre going to choose Pavlov I recommend going to your knife drawer and stabbing yourself in the ear because thats less frustrating than dealing with them.
