I applied for one specific job offer and was told I was the most qualified person who applied. They said they would send my resume to the company and negotiate pay. After a few weeks I didnt hear back on anything (which is fine, I know it can be a process), so I emailed the person who interviewed me to ask if there were any updates. I never even got a response and a week later the job was reposted on the site. If I didnt get the job, I would understand, but I dont even know what happened. I hope this was just an isolated issue, but its definitely something to work on.

Wont respond to e-mails or update information on persons profile, when you have sent 2 people a updated resume. Wont return back phone calls when they originally called you about a job.

I had an excellent experience with Express Employment Professionals last year! I just moved to Illinois to live with my now Fiancé and needed a full-time job. I had several interviews lined up when I moved, but unfortunately they all fell through. I went through a month of numerous applications on Indeed and assumed that I wasnt getting callbacks because I wasnt local to Illinois. I decided to go the hiring professionals at Express, and within one week I was interviewed and hired! Funny enough, I got hired temporary to full-time at a place that turned my application away on Indeed. Fast forward several months and they offered me a full-time position in December of 2019. Now October 2020 and Im still going strong with the company that hired me from Express! Shout out to Danielle Reed! She was the Express Employment Professional working with me at the time. Im still extremely grateful to her and Express, and I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for fast and easy employment!

Working with Danielle was truly a pleasure. I am new to the area and had a hard time trying to find a full-time job on my own. I know with COVID-19 things have been tough for everyone but I went two months without being able to find anything on my own and honestly was a little defeated. I applied originally for an Express postion online with Indeed and got a call back almost immediately. I had never worked with an agency like this before and was a little hesitant but after speaking with Danielle she definitely eased my mind and explained the entire process for me. After our interview she advised me of four job right off the bat that might be a good fit. After only working with her for one week she was able to line up two interviews and I was offered them both and was able to decide which would be the best fit for me!I am extremely grateful and a huge weight is lifted off my shoulders. I thank Danielle for her professionalism, patience and understanding and if needed would be more than happy to work with her again in the future.

Two thumbs WAY down. I applied for clerical work almost 2 years ago. I got ONE call about a job, which I wasn’t able to answer the moment the phone rang but called back less than five minutes later and was told “sorry, we already moved down the list and the job is no longer available.” Every other call I got was a robo-call about warehouse work (which I very clearly told Danielle I had no interest in). I found my own job (and now a second one) and informed Danielle that she could take me off the list. Two years down the line, I’m STILL getting to robo-calls for warehouse work. I finally blocked the number because I’m sick of all the calls. I know they claim it’s because of Covid, but I’ve been getting calls all along. They’ve ramped up to an intolerable level over the last week though.If you are looking for warehouse work, they might be able to help you, but don’t expect to places with an office job through this office.

The team at Champaigns office helped me various times to find work. It was always great pay and always places with progressive promoting. In other words you could always find a life long career. Even if I moved away this team truly helped me many times.

I signed up for Express in 2015! Shortly (about a week) after, I applied directly to a position outside of Express and let them know I did not require their services any longer (even though they had not even attempted to place me anywhere yet). After months they started leaving me automated message so I called them again to let them know that I was not looking for a job anymore because I was already employed.Skip forward to 2020: Five years later and living in another state; I start getting messages from them looking for laborers. I text stop and I have now been officially unsubscribed only to an email asking me to give a review!! I am absolutely anger laughing at the audacity of this business.

I was contacted by an agent for a job opportunity as an HR Generalist in the Champaign area. I told them I was also interested in any other opportunities they might have, not necessarily just in HR. Agent recommended for one position and never called me again. I tried calling many times and never got contacted again.

There was a man named Q who works for Express here in Champaign that was extremely helpful. He helped me when I was in need of a job and made sure I was secure. Q has been very informative and helpful and I hope and pray they keep him and even make him a supervisor.

When searching for an employment company, you should look for one with honest practices. Personally, I dont think offering lottery tickets and prizes for positive reviews is being honest. Do what you will with this information.

Ive worked through Express employment for over 2yrs. Everyone in the office from top to bottom helps in anyway Ive needed. Everyone smiles and its like a family, they so appreciation by giving a smile and a treat every payday. Theyll give you and opportunity to get permanent employment. I love express but mainly the office Id be lost without their assistance. Stop by youll see for yourself.

Great agency to work with and they are quick and responsive. I was employed about 3 weeks after applying with them. The staff is super patient and everyone made sure that any issues I had during the first week at my assignment were resolved swiftly.

In July of 2019 I came in for an interview at Express while planning to transition to Illinois from Ohio. After landing in Illinois by October with a seasonal position I found on my own I resumed the job search. During the month of October an agent from Express put me in contact with one employer and after a second round of interviews we decided that it wouldnt be a good fit. About mid November I was contacted again with an alternate job opening that fit the bill for exactly what I was looking for. The agent was tenacious, innovative in marketing my skills, and aggressive at daily follow-up. Progress on this position was very rapid and within a week I accepted the job offer.Not all Express recruiters are made equal. Some are more aggressive than others. Blake Quinlan made this process insanely easy to complete and his innovative marketing style was effective. Ask for him if you can, he clearly knows what he is doing.

My reason for giving Express 5 stars is because when I came to them for the first time they as me what type of job I was looking for. They also ask me what type of pay I was looking for. I didnt get the pay I ask for but they made sure they got me close to it.and the job they sent me too was a good one I got hired and was happy with it.so yes my thumbs goes up too Express and I give two thumbs up too Q because he been looking out for me every since I came back too them.

Even though this office claims to have clerical opportunities, dont believe them! I interviewed here only to get ignored by Danielle for the next 3 weeks. Oddly enough I went through another service in town and was placed with a great job immediately. Good office if you need warehouse work I guess, but dont be surprised if your recruiter never follows up with you!

She even kept me on my toes and when I had to come to the office too much, she gave me a gift card for gas! Will lie to you, find you temporary work under the guise that it is permanent and will then keep you unemployed for weeks with little to no contact. They will also call and harass you when you clearly state you no longer need their services for any reason. I had to threaten to call the police when it was all said and done.Harassment is illegal. Go through a different agency instead. If you are employed through them make sure you keep all of your emails and records through whatever company they hire you onto. Dont expect any holiday pay either. Very few people get hired on permanently, specifically in clerical, regardless of how hard you work.

I had such a smooth process and enjoyed my time with the team here. I found them to be super helpful and supportive. I would highly recommend anyone to using there services especially if you are in need of clerical work and want to land a position that will be hopefully long term.
