I dont normally write reviews, but I feel compelled to speak out about this company. I have had a terrible experience with Drummond Carpet Cleaning. At first, I thought I was alone, given all of the positive reviews, but when I look into the reviewers profiles, it seems clear that many of the positive reviews left for Drummond Carpet are fake (profiles dont make sense, scattered reviews for plumbing companies in TX, lawn care in LA, etc).Last Monday, I had an area rug picked up for cleaning (I had been dog sitting and the dog had gotten into the trash can). I only interacted with one man for appointment scheduling, pickup, and delivery, which ended up coming 24 hours later than scheduled (Thursday). When the carpet was returned to me, I waited until the the dog left on Monday to unroll the carpet, and noticed immediately that it hadnt been touched! There was dog hair and lint, the stains looked exactly the same (still bits of bacon and grease), and impressions from the legs of my desk and the couch still covering the carpet. Im attaching photos below.I called Drummond immediately. I was naturally upset, because at this point, new food stains had had an entire week to set, making them much more difficult to remove. He immediately became abrasive and defensive, insisting that the carpet had been cleaned, and retorting that he didnt have to listen to this. Although he offered to re-clean the carpet, I decided I was uncomfortable with him returning to my place of residence, given his hostility on the phone, and also didnt trust the company to actually clean the carpet, or return it.I paid $40 for services that were not delivered, and the mistake was never acknowledged by Drummond. Luckily, I was able to call another carpet cleaning company in the area, which, after hearing my story, provided a discount on their carpet cleaning service. Given all of the fake reviews of Drummond, it seemed important to post my own experiences so that future customers might be properly warned.

I am staring to believe that the reviews posted are fake as the person below me stated. We scheduled a couch cleaning for May 15th. The appointment was for 11am. 11:30 comes around, no one is here. That is understanding, possibly running late. We call. We were told they would be there in 3 minutes. 11:45ish rolls around. Again, no one is there. We call again, to be told they are a MINUTE away. We wait MORE only to find out they decided to do their 12pm appointment and just not notify us of this, I guess. Finally arrived around 12pm. Not one single apology for being late and did not say a single word to us. As I work in customer service, I believe it is very important to ensure your customers are happy. We were offered $10 off. Yeah, that is great, I guess. We had already paid so we weren’t going to go through the hassle of canceling and rescheduling. Overall, not a satisfied customer. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

Drummond Carpet cleaning preformed my move out carpet cleaning and did an excellent job. He took his time to clean both my stairs and the living and bedrooms. The carpet looked great after considering I lived there for two years with 3 kids.

I came back to look at recent reviews and the way this company responds to bad reviews shows the unprofessionalism of this company. I had an absolutely terrible experience with them. Bad enough that they gave me my money back after my explanation because I’m sure they knew the man that did my carpet cleaning was terrible. I moved all of the furniture myself and vacuumed myself. They did nothing of whats stated on the website and yes they come late. I think you all really need to reevaluate yourself as a company. These responses are terrible and your work is too from honest experience. Y’all are honestly lucky people don’t report you all to better business. Being completely honest they don’t even deserve one star. I didn’t even want to leave a review after my service but seeing how you all respond to bad ones i feel people need to know the real bad quality of your company. And please don’t come under my review saying I’m lying or being rude. This is just my honest review and opinion. I’d hate to come back with screenshots and witnesses because I had company the day my carpet was being cleaned. We all witnessed that hot mess y’all tried to call a carpet cleaning.

First of all, the cleaner came 15 min late, which I did not comment on but definitely noticed. Next, since I live in an apartment complex with assigned parking spots, I instructed the cleaner to park in my space and I would move to visitor parking. He proceeded to park in front of the grassy knoll which would have blocked traffic, and argued that it was ok for him to park there despite his not being resident of the complex. Upon become exasperated with his disagreeableness, I asked him if he really wanted to service my unit. He said no and left. Fine! Ill just go with Stanley Steemer, whom I should have contracted first because my friends have had exceptional service from them. DO NOT do business with Drummond if you have to beg them to do their job with a professional attitude!

Christopher Drummond of Drummond Carpet and Upholstery Care did an excellent job in my house cleaning all my carpets and upholstery after I had tenants with pets for 1 year. Perfect job. No smell and stain at all. Like it is just a newly refurbished house. Very much recommended!

You deal with the owner and he truly takes pride in the job he does and wants repeat customer and not simply looking for a one time visit. I have had this company out to my house several times in past few years and every time I am so pleased with the results. I have used Chris two times for carpet cleaning in my apartment. He is thorough and fast and my place smells really clean now. I have a dog and sometimes stuff happens that I just cant get out myself and he was available to me late at night. Great prices and super nice guy. Great service! I would recommend them to anyone to use. I live on the seventh floor and they did not have a problem with coming to clean four bedrooms. I had a big stain in my room and they got it all out perfectly! Only took an hour for them and everything looks great. Very friendly and it shows he loves his job. Would definitely recommend!

I called up DCUC and the technician was right on time and did an excellent job at a very good price. One chair was looking so bad I was considering reupholstering. Good thing I didnt, cleaning was much cheaper. I will definitely use this company again and recommend his service to my friends.

Highly recommend! We had them out for a duct cleaning last week and he only charged us a fraction of what some of these other guys were quoting us. In fact the total charge was less than half of what some of the other local guys wanted to charge for the set up fee alone. If you need your ducts cleaned and someone is quoting you an arm and a leg, give Drummond a call. They did great work as well, super friendly. His son was helping him and was a very nice young man as well. Two thumbs up!

Drummond Carpet and Upholstery Care crew came to my house and cleaned 2 rooms of carpet and all of my air ducts. They did a wonderful job. my carpets look brand new and they got all of the cat pee smell out which is amazing. As for the air ducts I watched them, and they really seem to take their time and cleaned everyone. They took before and after pics of inside the vents...the difference was amazing! I can’t believe I was breathing in all that dust. It has helped with my allergies so much. Will be recommending this company to all of my friends and family.

Chris is the very nice gentleman who cleaned our carpet today. He is very patient explaining the procedure. We had four rooms and they got it done in about an hour. Chris cleaned 5 rooms and two stairways and did an excellent job. I will admit, I was a little skeptical at first due his prices being quite a bit below other quotes I had received, but I was pleasantly surprised. We have some older carpet with pet stains and he was able to get the stains completely removed from the carpet. I will definitely be utilizing Drummond Carpet Cleaning in the future.

I recently had this company at my house to clean my air ducts and furnace because my house had an odd odor ever since we turned the furnace on. The technician Christopher Drummond that came to my house was so professional, clean, and friendly. I was not hesitant at all to let them in my home. He used a brush and went down each vent individually and then did the same from the basement. The smell is completely gone, and I have not had to dust at all! The pricing was very simple and easy to understand. To top it off they cleaned my dryer vent for free! This company really impressed me, and I will be using them again in the future.

Came out to my home right as scheduled and were very easy to work with. I had them clean my staircase, 3 bedrooms, a hallway, and a walk-in closet. I had several stains (kid & pet) and the end results were great. They even sent me photos afterward (since I was not at home). My husband and I recommend Drummond Carpet Cleaning . The workers arrived on time and were very professional and knowledgeable. I liked that they had portable units for cleaning. so my outside doors were kept closed ( versus airconditioning the outdoors!). We own a 2 story home; one person worked on the top floor, while the other cleaned the downstairs. Our carpets look great. They took great care with our antiques as well.

Used them before. Probably wont again after this appointment. Disappointing. Carpet looks good. Poor customer service. Unapologetic and dismissive about damage. Offered a discount with no apology. Id rather pay full price with a tip and have good customer service. Just a little advise.....if youre an hour and a half late and then you accidentally damage some of the homeowners house.....being apologetic should not only come natural, it should be abundant. ....and dont make the customer ASK YOU for a digital copy or receipt while youre walking off after I pay with a credit card. I watched you type away on your phone after I handed my card to you, and then you said Ok as you put your phone back in your pocket and handed me my card. How do I know what amount you just charged on my card??? (Thank God for instant charge notification from my bank app)I didnt even get angry about it. .....maybe I should have. Just disappointing. .... And even though you didnt say it, you have a wonderful day too!

Chris and his help came on time and called ahead like he said he would. That was very important. My main reason for enlisting their help was because we knew we had a mouse in the furnace intake pipe (an HVAC told us so). We had them clean all of our vents (cold and hot) and they knew about the critter somewhere. They went above and beyond to get the nest and multiple mice out of the system, with extra time and effort involved. They kept me informed throughout the whole process. They were at my location for a longer than normal time, even though they dont normally do something like that. (BTW, it sounds gross, but my home is not a dirty place!) I would recommend them without reserve.

I was suppose to have someone clean my air ducts at 3 pm today. They supposedly showed up at 3:30 pm and knocked on my moms apartment door. She told them to go to the front door up the stairs and called me. I stood at the door waiting which they never showed because whoever it eas just left. So between being late and leaving I consider that a no show/no call.

Wow 😳 you guys!!! With a busy life and a house full of boys sometimes getting around to steaming the carpets gets put on hold-This time Ive left it up to the professionals💪🏼 The differences is night and day yall-My area rug has new life 🌈 and those pesky silly putty stains are no existent in our sons room!!! We needed one room cleaned because a pet had urinated on the carpet. We were assured by the company that they could clean an neutralize the odor. The workers were nice and on time, but the carpet was left very wet, and overnight the odor went from unpleasant to unbearable. Drummond refused to give a refund.

Even though Ive experienced with better cleaning service in other cities, I am fully satisfied with friendly and hard work they provided with me. They were late but i was notified so that was okay.
