Great customer service! Love the results and the ladies here are all caring and nice! They are very consistent and i dont feel rushed at all! They were busy the week day it was raining. She even took the time to ask if i wanted my hair wrapped. I been coming for a here since 2019. I literally dont have to press my hair out through out the week at all. These ladies due an amazing job and my hair actually last.

Great and consistent service. The ladies are always nice and accommodating. Most of the beauticians speak very little English but with the help of Google you will be fine with communicating special requests. My biggest critique is the heat of their blowdryers can often be unbearable but if you tell them then they will either turn down the heat or be more mindful. I have learned that a simple wash and blowdry is usually enough because their roller sets are done so well. Most importantly their prices are amazing. Ive never paid more than $50 for a roller set and trim. I definitely reccomend.

Ill never forget a rude customer waiting and got upset because she was waiting to long. I was there first. What made it even worse was the light skin lady who was doing my hair said my hair was different from theirs. Instead of her telling her to be patient and wait and you treat your clients the same. Both were very unethical. My hair is not different from theres by the way. Just awful! Wish I would have posted earlier.

This is indeed a 5 star saloon. I live in Buckhead but I drive the distance because SULA’s HAIR SALON is the best! None like it. The service is top notch. I went to get my micro links done and I did a walk in late without having the awareness that it takes time to get it done. We started at 6pm and she did KERATINE treatment, wash, blow dry then the Microlinks. She fixed my hair and we finished at 5:30am. Professional hairdressers can attest to the fact that all processes mentioned takes time. You could tell SULA was passionate about her work and not just about the money. She took her time to make sure everything came out perfectly. She’s very professional and I recommend her services.

This is a great Dominican Salon and its located in a great location near many restaurants and lots of parking. The salon is really clean and air conditioned. I felt really comfortable when I went and they did a great job with my hair. Sula and Alexandria are very friendly and welcoming. Theyre very professional and down to earth. Very nice ladies to speak with the entire time he entire time I was there. Alex did a fantastic job washing and setting my hair. It was quite humid out and my hair was bouncy and curly all day long. I recommend this place and I will definitely return.

I’m only rating it a 3 because my hair is just, 😔. Otherwise it would be a 5 star.The pictures listed are pictures of my hair reacting to a new product salons use. If you go, DO NOT ALLOW THIS PRODUCT ON YOUR HAIR. Its a heat protectant but last 30 days and my hair I feel is ruined.Sula was very professional about it and I loved that she offered to help without me having to ask her. Some products just don’t work for some people, I’d hate to see this happen to someone else. Otherwise, I’ve never had an issue in the many years I’ve gone. Everyone is always pleasant and everyone is skilled in what they do.

Very talented and great service

I have been going to Sula for many years and she never disappoints. I’ve worn my hair natural and permed and either way she and hair stylist take great care of my scalp and my hair. Today, after cutting my hair and shaving the sides at another salon (mistake) I went in to see if I could get a sew in until my hair grew back. Sula and another stylist not only treated my scalp of the damage done at the other salon but worked meticulously to braid my hair (even the barely there section) for what turned out to be an amazing sew in.

The ladies there are very respectful and friendly. Only downside for me is the price. Paid $70 for a wash and set. Normally that’s $30-35 even if you’re natural. Plus deep condition would have you at the most $40-45. Did not ask for a trim but was told my hair needed it so charged an extra $15. Was my first time here so I should’ve asked about the price prior to getting the service. Make sure to ask, but other than that they do a good job compared to some Dominican Salons in Atlanta.

They couldnt do the color I wanted but thats my own fault for not washing out all my dye. Super sweet staff and they made sure I knew they couldnt reach the color I wanted to protect my hair. Great place to go.

I came from New York for a wedding in Atlanta and was looking for a Dominican hair salon and Sulas hair salon came up. I wanted a specific hair style I communicated with her and showed her the pic of the hair style made and appointment, she showed up on time and everything. And I loved what she did with my hair. Everybody loved my hairstyle as well. Ill definitely go back when I come back to Atlanta. Great service!

This was such an awesome experience!! My hair came out JUST like I wanted it to and also looked so beautiful and healthy at the end of my experience. My hair smelt great and the color was absolutely amazing. Sula took her time with me and was very courteous and kind throughout the entire process. Hair came out good. However Ive been to plenty of Dominican hair salons all over Atlanta and never had to pay $75 for a deep condition and blow dry. Matter of fact, never had to pay over $50!! As soon as they found out we never been there, they took advantage!! They fail to realize they will lose customers this way!! Karma will come back to bite them!! I will never be back and do not suggest this hair salon!!

Went and got a wash roller set and blowout she also flat ironed my hair..my hair was beautiful for all of one day the next day it started to frizz and puff up. The day after my hair smelt horrible..burnt really i had to get up and wash it in the middle of the night because I couldnt sleep it smelt that bad. I can say that it was reasonably priced. And the service was not that great the girl that was doing my hair was also getting her hair done which made my process even longer. I will never return.

The staff is very friendly and their hair dryers are up to date. The lady that did my hair knew exactly what she was doing. She did not burn my scalp and was gentle with my hair. I will be returning :)

I LOVEEEEEE This Shop. Ive been coming to Sula on and off for 3 years now and everytimeI come Im treated like family...Every stylist in this shop has skills...not to much heat, they will make sure your hair is healthy before you leave. I just got the Keratin Treatment by Sula and when I tell you Its AMAZING!!!! ITS AMAZING!!!! My hair looks so good my husband couldnt keep his hands out my hair... This is the only Dominican shop in Atlanta for me!

I went to shop and my hair was uneven so the lady cut it and then she was supposed to make it look nice and presentable which i was not satisfied at all. Then she tells me 55 i say wait a minute that is way to much for what you did then she said 50$ she said she well thats our price. So moral is she did not do a good job on my hair and charged me way to much for what it was worth

After I posted my first review I got a call from the owner and I thought she really cared about my bad experience but I later learned her main concern was for me to remove my negative rating. Thinking she would do what’s needed to make things right, she asked me to remove my rating and she would refund a portion of my money per my request. This never happened so my original review is going back up. Don’t play with me dear!!!! This place has a lot of good reviews which is great andI had a great experience my first time when Elsa did my blow out. She was fast, she made sure not to pull out chunks of my hair and she was pretty good at styling.I referred my mom and daughter to her and they both had a great experience,Unfortunately, I went the other day and Elsa was out of town so I went to someone name Alex! Not the best experience! She did NOT make sure my hair was completely detangled like Elsa did, she pulled my tangled hair pretty aggressively and I could feel and hear it popping off, then saw it in her comb and on the counter!I usually pay just $50 with Elsa, this time I wanted a rinse, Alex charged me $40 extra dollars to pour a 3 dollar mixture of black rinse on my hair and let it sit...$40 for that?? Seriously??? Then she chose to trim my ends slightly without me even asking then charged me for a trim!! Lastly, she curled my hair like a freakin mushroom instead of a soft bob like Elsa did! I WILL NEVER GO BACK unless Elsa is there! She was a nice lady but the experience was subpar, pissed me off and cost me a ton!!

I have been going here a very long time since they were in old building just cause its the only one in the area. I like the quick services and my hair has been laid and every now and then the prices are different which i dont mind paying cause i know i have natural hair... but what makes me mad is they open at 10 and they are never on time. I waited untill 1040 and nobody still hasnt show up and it happens more than once and sometimes their customer service sucks.

I came in on Saturday a little after 3 and I had an event to attend at 6:30. I showed them want it wanted and they got me in and out in less then two hours. You guys made my night special thanks you!

I dont speak Spanish but I understand it, I waited on the mens side for a haircut for 2 hours before any barber would say anything to me. Also, the hairdresser had an ankle bracelet on his left leg. With an available stylist sitting on a sofa with her cell phone, I had to wait almost an hour, while I waited for another stylist who took a client from inside to start a straightening, it took all that time waiting for her to finish, that she took all the time he wanted and then it took the same to pay. Once he washed his hair; He went to his post while he was not able to put on a towel or wait for me to get up and went to his station; while he shouted at me not to cover my head or dry my hair, that is, I had to go with my head dripping with water ?? Where has one been seen to be treated like this?, I showed him the cut, and I ended up with a mans cut ... when I was longer upstairs than I was female, he never asked me how I wanted my bangs, he never asked me, how I wanted my sideburns if I was covering my ear or not, I never wonder if I wanted to cut back as a man, or de-stemmed, square or round, they are basic questions that are asked .. I am a teacher of cut, stylist and colorist .. head when washed, gentle massage is done when washing hair and not burying nails, I complained 2 times, and 2 times I did it again; never a client is left wet you have to take care of your wardrobe. and not that the water falls on his face, he never combed or adjusted my hair as I cut it so wet, I left it, I asked him to pass the dryer please, and he did not do the amen to fix the hair I DONT ASK FOR HAIR, but never send a client to the street as a shower exit !! . . when he was about to finish, the stylist who was sitting on the couch; He leaves his cell phone, and smoothes it ... (I came to think that she was a client who was waiting to be attended) I will never return, maybe this salon is good; for another type of hair ... but for me notSo late for just a haircut. At $ 20, American Salons charge $ 15.
