I work and live in the area and this barbershop came highly recommended. I’ve been going to this shop for about 5 months and it’s been a great experience ever since. Barbers are always polite and ask if they can assist me in any way. I have never had a bad haircut or bad experience here and will continue to go back.

So I have dreads. This my first time at the stop. I was there before Erick I think his name. He stated that this was his shop. Long story short I continued to ask the Henry how much you charge for a line and tape. Mind you I have dread so you no cutting off any hair abs I don’t have facial hair. So as we rap up the cut and I looked in the Mirror my whole line is in even. This man do not fade he just cut your hair of with no questioning and gone have the nerve to charge $40 I said sir I’m not paying you $40 for a terrible job. The man didn’t use no razor. He just use the crayon to draw on your line. If telling you guys stay away from e or Eric watered his name is..

I had the luxury of getting a masterpiece from Spud from Chicago...if you see him DO NOT sleep on the attentive, professional and courteous service he will provide. Pre-Covid, I was a repeat customer. Today, the Barber took someone ahead of my son. An unmasked, anti-mask and anti-vaccine person, unsure if barber or customer, harassed my son about wearing two masks, which he told the person is his personal choice. My son ended up leaving without getting a haircut.

I am from out of town and wanted to get my sons hair cut. After waiting 20 mins at north Atlanta barbershop. Which did not have any barbers both of them were out on lunch. I called Positive Image to find out what the wait was. He said there is no wait. I said great I am on the way. Sean did an amazing job. I dont know much about the types of hair cuts. So he asked did I have a picture of how I wanted my sons hair cut. I explained to him that Im not trying to tell him how to do his job but just wanted to explain that you can not cut on my sons hair like the average texture hair of a black man. He did not take any disrespect at all.

Gone to this barber for over 2 years, never a messed up lineup nor cut gone wrong, can’t trust my hair with another barber.

Dr Phil the barber does great work! It’s hard to find a barber that won’t push your line back or try to make their own line and disregard your natural points. Phil take his time to outline it first and then makes sure your line up is precise. He is one of the best at fades I’ve lived in 4 different states and hands down he has been the best. I definitely recommend giving him a try, he won’t disappoint.

Been to a few barbershops in the past 2 years, because of moving and havent been pleased. Rick does a great job. He listens and delivers everytime. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is I dont believe perfection is ever truly achieved, but I highly recommend.

Friendly, quiet atmosphere. I am very picky, but when my 5 year old remembers the barbers name, I know we went to the right place. We are new to the area and Raheem @Heem4213 on IG: greets all three of my boys as if he has known them since birth. They get in his chair and fall asleep within 2 minutes. Now I can go and sit at Positive Image and read and relax a few minutes to myself. They are open on SUNDAY!!!! Set up for working parents!!! Thanks Raheem Da Barber for such wonderful service.

Fantastic fades!!! Any age - kids to grandparents and everyone in between - they will hook you up with the perfect cut. Patience, kindness, and skill for a fair price is such a rare combination these days but this shop does it all.

I recently moved to the Chamblee area and have a 14 year old son. Positive image barbershop is conveniently located right across the street from my son school. Ive had the best experience with my son new barber Rick. The shop is nice and clean, very up to date with flat screen tv’s for your viewing pleasure. Rick was very pleasant and very knowledgeable about the Chamblee area. Positive image, positive people.

I walked into positive image barbershop for the first time with my 3 yo grandson. Rick greeted me and assured me that my grandson would be no problem for him and that he would take good care of him. We experienced no wait time at all, the waiting area was nice and clean and the tv’s distracted my grandson while he cut .. after the haircut my grandson didn’t want to leave .. I’m extremely impressed with the way Rick handled my grandson and his haircut was so cute. We will definitely be back!

Dr.Phil is a professional barber. His cuts are always well done and doesn’t tend to mess up or push your hairline back. Positive Image Barbershop has great potential and I definitely will come back here again.

Needed shape up to my pixie - the back and sides were growing in and it was nearly 4 weeks before my regularly scheduled appointment with my stylist. Man I just had the best haircut I think I’ve ever had! I’m in Atlanta on business and I knew I wanted a haircut, but I didn’t know where I could find a barber who could cut it! On my way to the hotel, I had to take a different route and happened to land on this gold mine! My barber William cut my hair like he was being extra careful with every stroke of the clippers! It felt like he was cutting my hair with butterfly wings; I barely felt a thing! Where I’m from I’ve been cut at the barber shop or the barber dug the clippers into the back of my head! Trust me, get down there and give William one chance and he’ll blow you away! If I’m ever back in this town again, I’m going to him! I paid for the haircut and tipped him a fresh $20 out the bank machine! And I don’t do that! Normally!Amen

This place is dope, they dont just cut your hair to cut your hair, they make sure the work is good and they cut with passion. I also saw a lot of diversity in the shop and it dont matter who you are, You will get a nice cut. The barber Ron defiantly made sure I was looking good. Ive been taking my son to Sean for the last 2 years, and he is the most professional barber I have ever had. My son was very young when we went there first and did not like the barber chair (or the sound of the clippers). Sean was the most patient barber that Ive every had and now my son sits in the chair by himself with no issues.Additionally, the barbershop is extremely family friendly (unlike some others in Atlana), so you can always feel comfortable bringing your children here.Sean also cuts my hair and does a fantastic job. I highly recommend Sean and Positive Image Barbershop to cut your and your childrens hair. Five stars.

I’m from NY and in town for the holidays and was tasked with getting my cousin’ children with haircuts. I had heard about this barbershop from someone in NY that raved about the services here. I drove 40 min To Positive image barbershop with my godson & his 2 brothers. Ranging from age 16, 10 and 8. Needless to say they have differing hair styles and I really wanted a one stop shop. Look no further peeps, this barbershop delivered. The shop owner, Rick- was beyond attentive to each of the boys desires as to how they wanted their hair cut while also making eye contact with me as the adult that it was ok to proceed. The shop has a great vibe, very friendly for all ages and the ambiance and lively Conversation makes you forget about the wait period of 3 haircuts. The boys were very happy with end result & posting experience on tik tok & Snapchat. All in all it was a great experience and highly recommend for adults and kids alike. PI provides an array of services which can meet all hair type needs. All staff was friendly however Rick was exceptional with skill & demeanor- ask for him and you will not be disappointed! I’m going to make sure their parents bring them here go forward!
