These guys (and 1 girl, lol) make you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. Someone acknowledges you before the door shuts behind you. If youre looking for a great cut, in and out in 30 minutes but you never feel rushed through stop by. Pete is my barber, but honestly everyone is qualified and does a spectacular job.

Sara did an EXCELLENT job on my hair and I will definitely be going back to her! She listened to what I wanted and it was totally on point! I am an older woman with super short hair and she cut it/clippered it exactly how I wanted and imagined it...super close, yet still feminine!

Hair cuts cost $15. They give a great hair cut. The staff is awesome. Barber shop has a great waiting area and is very clean.

I actually like the place, but this visit was very disappointing. I have been there once before and was quite happy with the haircut. This time my barber must have been just learning. Despite someone else coming over three or more times to check all that ever got cut was a trimming of the back and sides.

I was told how good Pete was. So I made an appointment for my grandson with Pete. We get there and Trent was very rude. I tell him we have an appointment with Pete. In the meantime a regulat walks in and Trent tells him Pete can cut his hair and then he pointed to me and told us to go down to the new trainee and he wasnt nice about it. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone! I will never go back. This happened in July when my grandson was visiting from SC. And yes - a man did walk in and he even said he didnt have an appointment.

Always make an effort to go to Trent, Pete, and the other great barbers here. Never have had a bad haircut. Expect to wait if youre walking-in during a busy time, so call ahead in the morning if you need your hair cut at a certain time. Everyone knows theyre the best in town!

I was a little apprehensive about trying a new hairstyle at first. I went in and provided a template of what I was considering and everything was explained to me clearly and concisely regarding maintenance and upkeep. There are seats for 12-15 people including an old church bench in the shop. There are approximately 4 barbers and 1 student chair available. The shop is contemporary and new. Large space so no bumping shoulders. All of the staff are well versed barbers and familiar with a variety of styles, cuts, and shaved. Excellent experience.

Feb 07, 2019 was my first time there and it was a very enjoyable experience. Even though I had already had a shower that morning I still went in looking like a spent mop. My appearance leaving was a different story altogether. I got an awesome haircut and a good clean shave with hot towel service. Everyone working kept an upbeat pace and the place seemed lively. Even the prices were reasonable considering the services rendered so yeah, all in all, I couldnt be happier. I will absolutely be a repeat customer!

The guys at anchor Traditions are top notch barbers. It doesnt matter what kind of hairstyle youre looking for, all of the guys here are great at providing customers exactly what theyre looking for. Clearly explained I wanted a skin fade up with a faux hawk style top. I received a military grade haircut. He didn’t know what he was doing, he constantly second guessed his decisions asking his coworker what to do and how to do it. It was meant to be a simple in and out hair cut. He never turned my chair to allow me to see what was actually going on. He lacked professionalism from start to finish. You shouldn’t answer a phone while you’re straight razoring someone.

I love Anchored Traditions. Most importantly my wife loves this barbershop for how nice they keep me looking. The barbers are great guys and know their craft. I first came to get a straight razor shave and have been coming back to get my hair cut every few months. Their price is beyond reasonable and they focus on details (not speed) so they are typically pretty busy. Be ready to spend about two hours between waiting and getting your haircut/shave. Trust me, its worth the wait.

Very friendly place to go, the guys do a great job. Theres always some sort of conversation going on, makes you feel comfortable. There is a bit of a wait if you dont call in first, but you wont mind the wait. Come in, give them your name and have a seat. Parking can be a little tough depending on the day and time.

Trent is a great guy, and citizen. Has really improved flow of services and the shop looks much better than it did $ months ago.Good to have someone squared away in charge! Always a quick, pleasant cut.

A great old school barber shop in an old firehouse. Be prepared to wait...there is always a line. Walk in and take note of who is there before you. There is no list...they just shout next and the next person walks up. Dont leave or you will loose your spot. But all is worth it for a solid $10 haircut. They also include shaping your beard and using hot lather and a straight razor to clean it up.

A good haircut can be hard to come by. After paying $23 dollars a visit for a mediocre cut out in WA for the last 5 years, I was delighted at how great a job theyve done at Your Barber Shop... For only 12 dollars Ive had two fantastic cuts from Pete at this shop. The fade was great and after a brief description of what I was looking for Pete knocked it out. The cut included a very well done edge up, an eyebrow trim, and a straight razor to sharpen up the lines. Im moving out to Dillsburg here in a few weeks but I plan to make the trip back down to Chambersburg to continue to let Pete cut my hair.

This used to be my regular barber shop until my last visit, which was highly unpleasant. I waited for at least an hour and finally some young blonde haired kid calls me to the chair. He starts cutting my hair, then the barber next to him takes over because this guy keeps messing up. Then, the kid cuts himself on a straight razor. The haircut was mediocre at best. Needless to say, the lost a customer. First haircut I have ever had that required two barbers.*Note - Kevin (the owner) is great, its just some of the clowns he brings onboard.

Great place, great cuts, great price

Used to be my go-to spot, but lately they have changed the hours and close at 5:30 during the week and have been closed at random times that they are said to be open. Went there last week during there normal hours and a sign out front said that they were closed that day. Went back again this week to try to get a hair cut and arrived at 5:02pm and a sign out front said that they will not be taking anymore customers and that they are looking for more barbers. Im not sure what is going on with this business but I hope they pull through and go back to their old dependable ways.
