Went to Penske Chevy to return my lease and was told i would have to wait 2 hrs for the manager to get in cause no one could help me. This is after i had to wait almost 5 hours to lease it in the first place. Chevy has lost me as a customer for life after my experience with the volt and i will never recommend a Chevy 2 anyone. Im glad i bought a Tesla.If you need a good rep to actually help you with a Chevy go to Fernando Cruz at George Chevrolet in bellflower he helped me return the car and was great.
My experience at Penske Chevrolet of Cerritos was far from satisfactory. I went in for a simple airbag recall which I was told would take no longer than 45 min. After waiting over 2 hours for my car to be done I left with a hole on my dashboard (where the airbag was replaced) with claims from them that the hole was there prior to them replacing the airbag. After failed attempts of trying to resolve the issue with this Penske branch, I decided to take matters into my own hands and present the issue to corporate office, but still no success. Because of the fraudulent accusations from the Penske of Cerritos and executive general manager, Reed Amiri I now find myself having to go to court for this matter. I would not advise you to visit this Penske location at 18605 Studebaker Road. They are by far the most underhanded, non-cooperative, dishonest company I have encountered. When a company cannot not take ownership for what they did wrong, it just shows you the lack of customer service and that is exactly what you will receive if you decide to get serviced here.
Wow! This place is beyond over priced. I wanted a few estimates for a couple of interior repairs. I was shocked at the quotes. I had a missing tiny screw for the visor mirror cover. They said the entire visor would have to be replaced! For a mirror cover made of plastic. They wanted $194. They sell the whole visors online for $25-50 dollars. But, the reason I am crying right now is for a whole other matter. I had previously replaced a door lock sensor with success. I noticed that my other rear door wasnt unlocking each time. They said it would be about $600 dollars a door. Also, that my other door sensor was going out too. So, it would be about $1,200 for both doors. I said that was too expensive so I would need to pass. I just picked up my car. Now, the door I had previously fixed wont lock or unlock. They had to go out of their way to remove or break that doors sensor. All three passengers doors wont lock or unlock after I asked them to check one door. It cant be a coincidence. I know he wasnt happy that I didnt want to do the pricey repairs. I never imagined that they would sabotage my previously fixed door out of spite.

They suck all the way around I do not recommend going there for series 8 even the parts that give you wrong save yourself time and dont ever go there

Worst possible service ever!!!! I had my vehicle towed in on a Thursday and was promised it would be ready by Saturday. I received a message saying a new alternator had to be ordered and would arrive on Friday. Nobody bothered to get in touch with me to update me and let me know my car would not be ready as promised. I attemped to contact someone all day Saturday and was unable to get a hold of anyone (advisor, manager, any other service staff). Left messages with answering service and on my advisors and service managers voicemail requesting a call back and did not receive one. I was finally able to reach an advisor on Monday and he tried to excuse himself and his manager with their own personal problems but still could not get a straight answer as to when my car would be ready and service manager would not take my call. I have had to miss 4 days of work so far because I was denied a loaner vehicle. I found their service to be extremely unprofessional and untimely. I am even more dissapointed because I took it in to Cerritos thinking their service would be better than George Chevrolets and was so terribly proved wrong. I have given them 1 star because otherwise I could not complete review otherwise I would not even give them that. I will never take my car in to Cerritos ever again. In fact, my experience with Chevrolet all together has been far worse than other dealerships that I will not consider buying another vehicle from this make again.

Took my 2015 Suburban for an oil change and a multi point inspection today. Everything was good until I received the check sheet from the clerk. The so called tech marked down that my tires were a little worn out already, but I had just purchased the brand new tires 45min before I took the truck in. It makes me wonder do the techs really check your car?

The service department is unprofessional & incompetent.I came by on a Wednesday because I received a recall notice in regards to the tailgate support cables on my Chevy S-10. There is the possibility of the cables rusting over time. I called the service department and asked if I can get my cables checked out and replaced if necessary. The person on the other line said to come on in, so off I went. Arriving there, they said my cables looked fine but I can get them replaced if I wanted to. I asked how long is it expected to take? He responded, About half a day. So, I told him Ill come by Friday, but if he could order the parts so everything will be ready to go. He said they just have to pick them up at an off-site location, takes less than 20 mins. Friday rolls around, and I drop off my truck. Half a day later, I come by to pick up my truck. I wait an hour or so. Finally, my truck comes out of the service bay, and Im told that the part is on back-order. Isnt that why I asked him to order the part on Wednesday? All they did for the 7+ hourse was to check the seatbelts in regards to another recall that I wasnt aware of. I wasnt the only one unhappy with the service there. I was told that they would call me as soon as the part was available. Yeah, right. And the paperwork they gave me included a customer survey, Unfortunately, it was a sample customer survey. Theyre afraid of giving out the actual surveys because they know how people would respond.That pretty much says it all.
Called to schedule an appointment for a service kept getting the run around and being put on hold.
I scheduled an appointment at 8:15, I came 10 minutes earlier, it was empty, 20 minutes after me a Southland truck came with out appointment for the same service(oil change), at 9 the service was done for that truck without an appointment and I had to wait onother 40 minutes. WHATS THE POINT TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT???
Cant do simple oil change on Saturday even when shopping for another car... So we left and shopping elsewhere.
