I signed up for a membership right before COVID. I think I went a few times in the first month. The gym is a fine facility, but their agreement terms are not friendly and designed to milk you for more money than you expect. Be careful.First, during COVID in 4/2020, they charged a new member fee even though gyms were closed. Then in 4/2021, they charged a rate lock fee.The last straw though is when I went to cancel, they charged me for another month. I had to pay them to cancel my account! The first two fees I can maybe understand in normal, non-covid times, but paying to cancel? Thats ridiculous.Take your business elsewhere.
Great facility and friendly staff. Was so glad to find a gym that was close to me and has great value for the money. Good variety of machines, free weights and classes.
Good amount of equipment and everythings clean however the gym is very busy most of the day
The staff is friendly and is willing to work with everyone that comes through the door. The equipment is high quality and the membership is affordable. I highly recommend VASA fitness.
Somehow the nicest Vasa Ive been to so far, but still has filthy and broken cardio equipment. The first six treadmills in the first row are broken or malfunctioning, and there is trash/used wipes everywhere. The equipment doesnt look like it ever gets cleaned by staff. As someone who works at a gym, and works really hard to make the experience a good one for the members, Im constantly disappointed and appalled at how little Vasa employees and managers care.
After 500+ days of not going to VASA I was still being charged after canceling in February of 2020... If VASA has a goal to help people be happy then why in the world is it like pulling out teeth to get anyone to correct this issue? 5 calls and 4 different answers... Seriously never going back as they never contacted me about the late payment because I sold my house after I stopped going and changed jobs (phones as well.) Now, I have an additional $20,000+ in loan costs because they decided to report it on my credit without EVER contacting me!
This is my favorite location. The staff is awesome especially John he is always friendly even early in the AM
If you like spending your money to access broken equipment, this gym might be for you. Why a gym of this size only has 6 stair climbers, when other VASA locations all have 10+, is beyond me. Combined with the fact that 4 of the 6 machines are broken (and according to the front desk have been broken for months), leaves one to wonder what they’re actually paying for with a membership to this place.
Thank goodness we don’t have to wear mask in the gym anymore! My energy levels during my workouts are so much better! I honestly almost left this gym to go to another one further away that didn’t require mask. The mask were lifted at the perfect time and it’s so great to finally see some normalcy coming back! The gym is crazy crowded but I will go back to early mornings.
Gets busy but you can definitely still get your workout done. Plenty of good equipment available.
I’ve only been once, but I always Remember authentic people and kindness. That is what I graciously received from Carrie. She was swamped during the after work rush and made time to connect in a personal professional kind way. Thank you Carrie! Thank yiu Vasa:):):)
Added a star for the staff they have been amazing!I used to love coming to this gym. They’ve cut their hours about a year ago and haven’t brought them back. I don’t want to go to the gym at 5am! I want to go at 9 or 10pm. You used to be open until 12am. Bring that back please! Additionally, It’s so overcrowded no matter what time of day you go, the equipment is being mistreated, beaten down, thrown around, and broken by teenagers and you do nothing about it. A whole deadlift squat platform has been broken for about 2 months now. It’s noisy and people just chat and socialize rather than work out now. I have to wait about an hour any time I want to use anything because this gym isn’t big enough for all the people that attend. Between this and the hours being cut, I’m incredibly sad and not feeling the vasa love as much.
For me getting back in the gym is difficult sometimes, but with so many awesome things to do and a super helpfull staff I find it easier to get in and get engaged.
Come to this place and ball all the time it’s the best!! Mac and Carl were the best.
I wouldn’t recommend females going to this gym. I was harassed by a man at this location. Still had to pay next month’s bill and cancelation fee for being too uncomfortable to go back. It sucks because this gym was the perfect distance between work and home. The gym is overly crowded, machines are too close together, bathrooms are disgusting, and all the company cares about is taking your money.
The staff are nice the facility is in good shape the main issue I have is with their billing company Paramount Acceptance I cancelled the services after 15 days and they attempted to take payments from me for over $49. I do not thing this is a reasonable amount for 15 days and this was not the agreed amount. Once again the facility is good and the staff are nice. I prefer the 24 Hour fitness just less than .5 miles away.
Best value in town! Clean, friendly and a wide range of options for all interests and fitness levels.
Set up similar as 24 but better ish since it’s newer . Have massage vb area like pf
Been coming here for over a year. They did a decent job during pandemic with cleaning, social distancing, however lately has gone down hill. Out of 6 treadmills in the movie room, 4 are broken and have been for months. They also never come around and re-fill wipes as they are always empty so people end up not wiping down their machines.
It was a 5-star review when I first started here three years ago. The gym has become overcrowded, and after experiencing how little they cared during covid, I will be taking my business elsewhere. They barely enforced masks, and I havent seen an attempt at social distancing for a long time. I even had someone work out on the machine next to me for almost a how with their masked pulled down the entire time. I even had a couple of employees walk by, and nobody said anything.
Part of this might be my fault for not checking my bank statements close enough but theyve been charging with me 19.99 a month since before covid I havent stepped foot in a club since covid thought everything got canceled, so cost me over 400 bucks and they wont refund a dime. Please fail soon.
Love how clean the place is and pretty much has everything your going to want minus specialty equipment which hardly any gym covers those all in all super stoked with this gym
I love Vasa! Great classes with awesome instructors. Always super clean!
Massive gym. Literally something for everyone. You dont have to settle for Planet Fitness just to not be judged. Seems like everyone on the staff is bigger or more fit than me, and they treat you with respect because they recognize you are here to do work. Also I got a sick pump.
Great gym and amazing membership prices for all the amenities they offer
I think this place is sick! A lot of fun and rewarding workout equipment! And a nice size pool!!
Not a bad gym overall, very friendly staff and well cleaned. However, many of the cardio machines are broken and are rarely repaired. I’ve been going to this gym for about 3-4 months and the same machines have been “under maintenance” the entire time. It’s a bit frustrating because people are always waiting to use the few working machines. The wait times are especially long and inconvenient during the busy hours before and after work.
VASA is VAWESOME! 💪🏼The gym is super clean with a large variety of fitness equipment. I enjoy having the luxury of tanning, hydro massage, steam room and hot tub. they’re great ways to end a solid workout. This place is definitely worth the price for all that’s offered. 💪🏼 💥💖✨
Lots of equipment here. It’s kept pretty clean for the most part. Not as much space as my previous Vasa location, but working out here is fine if you can catch an open spot between all the other people and constantly keep an eye out for your next set. Also make sure to come at a time where you won’t run into young kids/young adults. They treat the sauna like it’s a waiting room. Literally hanging out in there with their school clothes and backpacks on like it’s the only spot in the whole gym where they can sit and be openly obnoxious. I’ve noticed some employees are sarcastic or are choosey with who they greet up front while others have good customer service and are actually professional! Sucks. Not all gyms are like this, but it seems like it must be the norm for this one.
Always clean, cheerful and helpful staff. I’ve been a member there since before this location was open and I can’t imagine going anywhere else.
We joined Vasa and initially thought it was a good value for what you are getting, and admittedly, it is. However, the gym is dirty. The first time we used the pool it was dirty with crumbs in it. The second time we used the pool it had unknown mucus like discharge floating in it and the same crumbs were there. A week later, the same dirt and crumbs were on the stairs of the pool. The changing room for the women’s locker room has stains in the floor that continue to stay there week after week. The showers are really gross 🤢 Our favorite part of Vasa was the cinema, but a ton of the treadmills do not work along with some of the other equipment. Also the cinema screen was not displaying the movie and instead was stuck on an error. The entire two months we have been part of this gym we’ve been greeted by one tall blonde woman with long hair, and a younger gentleman with brown curly hair. The rest of the time we’ve been unrecognized. We visited Vasa Littleton and there is a vast difference. It is cleaner, with a cleaner pool and nicer staff, but this experience left such a bad taste in our mouths that we went to Chuze Fitness, and the difference is HUGE. Very clean. The first night I swam there, the employees were actively cleaning and checking the chemical levels in the pool. The showers are pretty decent and clean. The staff is really nice.I’m sure other Vasa locations are great, but this one in Centennial is just not worth the cost due to the lack of quality, cleanliness and kindness.
Went with my friend who had a guest pass. Gym was clean and had lots of different workout equipment and classes. Staff was nice and everyone wore there masks. Good place to go for any type of workout.
Vasa Fitness (Willow Creek) has been a welcome addition to our community for the past few years. While no gym or business is perfect, Vasa (under the leadership of General Manager Chris Rya) has strived to be a relationship-first organization. The facility is clean, they adhered to the COVID protocols over the past year + and try to flex and change the facility to meet demand. For example, they removed a racket ball court to add an area for deadlifting and increased the space for spin classes and another dedicated fitness room for training. This is a good gym, very reasonably priced, and has some really amazing people on staff. I highly recommend this business!
Good quality gym. clean equipment, great staff, and killer amenities.
DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR PERSONAL TRAINERS! Same pattern over and over. Their trainers quit after a few weeks or months and then you’re completely ignored and blown off by the management. They promise to call you back and arrange a new coach for you for months, but nothing happens while the gym continues taking the money out of your bank account. I feel like I’m a victim of a scam.
Definitely a fun time, have a lot of equipment, staff are friendly, people there help you out to make sure you have the best possible workout
The gym is very clean and the staff is very helpful.
Huge pain in the neck trying to cancel my membership with them. Even during this unprecedented pandemic. I’ve been getting lots of back and forth about how much I owe and have called multiple times to cancel only to have new charges. Go somewhere else and save yourself the hassle. If I could give them zero stars I would.
Clean facility, lots of amenities, will continue to keep coming back!
The staff was great and service was very well done.
Used to absolutely love this vasa as it had enough equipment and people were respectful. Now it’s overcrowded and noisy no matter what time you go, and people are extremely rude. Not sure what changed but it’s not enjoyable to work out here anymore.
VASA as a company: Great and helpful support team, never had such an easy time with gym memberships.VASA location: Clean, well set up (love the turf and weight lifting space), and overall great gym. As with pretty much any gym, machines gets filled up during rush hour so just be aware and prepared to adjust your routine.Sales people were great as well, not pushy and respectful. Had a few 3/5 experiences with the front desk but otherwise 5/5 gym!
I have tried to cancel my gym membership multiple times and I keep getting charged (since February). Talked to the front desk receptionist and she said the general manager would call me and he never did. Next step will be talking to a lawyer.
This establishment, VASA, operates above and beyond any fair expectation of service one could receive for the amount of membership fees required to experience the beneficial value offered to the member. Staff members enthusiastically greet those arriving, likewise bid farewell to those departing. This shows an earnest gratitude for member/ guest attendance. One could believe, quite easily, there is a sense of passionate pride in the hearts of the entire staff. It is easy to see that staff at VASA Fitness love their career. I utilize the lap pool, swimming 1200-1500 yards daily. Their pool is remarkably clean, almost always with vacancy. One thing that has really stood out for me is the focus that members have on positive self improvement consequentially resultant to the absence of judgemental behavior. The equipment at VASA is pristine and up to date. The sanitation standards that VASA has weaved into their policies and procedures has effectively kept members, guests and staff healthy which has allowed the ability to utilize their facility in the midst of this tragic health crisis. The price is aggressively competitive, providing amenities left unmatched by any local competitor VASA might consider. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone, the daily routiner as well as the ever other blue mooner. Exceptional quality, infallible sanitation.
Ive left several reviews for this location. Im doing another one because I think under these circumstances particular right now, Chris and team are doing a fantastic job. Dealing with jerks because county or state has put again strict conditions isnt necessarily their job and absolutely isnt their fault. Do what your asked to do so most importantly they stay open so people can get paid, secondly for our workouts. Keep it up team!! And thanks for always being engaging and nice in particular during these tough times.
I enjoyed my time for the most part at this gym. The only issues I ran into were cancellation issues and the gym was insanely crowded before and during the pandemic. There’s just too many people at this gym most days. When trying to cancel my membership it took back and forth emails for 3 days, and a $25 cancellation fee. If you can’t find a different gym, this one will do the job. I would recommend looking elsewhere if possible.
Update: It appears the gym has changed the booking process to allow 150 members per 1 hour gym session. This has vastly improved access to use the gym.Thank you for improving this process and listening to the feedback from your members. I know these are difficult times with covid restrictions so I applaud the effort to make the gym available to more members while also trying to make it safe for all members. Overall, I really enjoy using this gym and the staff has always been very helpful and professional. I have deleted my previous review since my concern has been addressed. Thank you!
AVOID THIS GYM AT ALL COSTS. I signed up for a gym membership here probably around two years ago. The gym itself isnt too bad, if you can look past the fact its packed all the time. The reason Im only giving it one star is because of the membership cancelation. I found out quickly that I didnt have enough time for the gym but I knew I had to keep my membership for at least 6 months to not be charged any fees. So I waited my 6 months and went in to cancel. I was told that my membership would be canceled and that was it. Never thought about it again. Until I received a bill in the mail for $+300 about 8 months after I had gone into cancel. Vasa was trying to charge me for the missed months of payment as well as late fees. During that time I had changed banks so they werent able to steal my money directly. I had gone in as soon as I got the letter, but no one would help me. They even told me I didnt exist in their systems! They ended up telling me to call customer support. I have called probably 50+ times, no one ever answers or calls back. Now Vasa has moved onto sending collections after me for more money. I was sick and tired of dealing with it so I payed the collections agency the full amount but to my surprise Ive just received another letter in the mail today, months after paying, that I owe more money!! Why tf cant you cancel your membership at the gym, why is there no customer support and no communication? AVOID THIS GYM AT ALL COSTS.
Not sure the young Asian kids name at the front desk but he is always super helpful and friendly
Floor plan is small and the equipment is very close together. Cardio machines are just okay. When its busy, its terrible.
This gym is probably one of the nicest gyms around the denver area would definitely recommend trying them out. Their month to month and have awesome representatives like Whitney. Really takes care of you like a small town gym would. However their huge and have soooooo many locations in colorado. All the locations have amazing amenities like massive sauna and steam rooms. Oh yeah super clean and sanitized. I see the workers cleaning and wiping down the equipment alll the time. They clean so much youd think there wouldnt be any equipment left after how many times they rub it down.
Nice gym. Clean and lots of options. Great price.
$50.00 low rate guarantee fee is charged within the first 60 days of membership. May as well just be upfront and say that you DO charge a signup fee. You can call it whatever you want... semantics. But at the end of the day youre going to pay, even if you choose to cancel your membership. In the COVID world we are living in, you ought to be month to month with no hidden fees, no cancellation fees, etc. Its the right thing to do!
I wish I could give a no star review. Tried to cancel my membership before the annual fee. I could not get in contact with anyone via email or phone for 2 months. Every time I tried to call I was put on hold, asked if I wanted them to call when it was my turn, then I’d never receive a call. I ended up finally getting through to someone the month I was going to be charged the annual fee. I haven’t been able to go in because of COVID since March. They refused to remove the annual fee because their was no history, even though they were the ones who refuse to respond. I am highly dissatisfied and disappointed with how the situation was handled.
Always crowded inside with lines out the door when I’m driving by. Lots are maskless (at least outside) and not socially distended. I thought gyms were required to limit capacity for covid? This gym doesn’t seem to care much about covid. To reply to the comment on this review: I don’t use the gym. I just pass by and it’s always really crowded. Are you doing anything to prevent covid spread? It doesn’t look like it.
Modern and advanced amenities....
Great value gym, friendly staff, lots of quality, clean, equipment. I was surprised how busy it was at 11am, guess its because of work at home. You have to wear a mask even on cardio machines which is a pain for me. Youre allowed to remove it for short periods to catch your breath so be warned if seeing somebody without fully wearing a mask terrifies you.
AVOID THIS GYM!!! They make it very difficult to cancel your membership here! Employees at the locations are able to sign you up and start your membership but when it comes to cancelling, the only way to do it is online or through the app. Seems simple right? Guess again... when you go to cancel and enter your information, it will come up with and error message. This is because when you originally signed up, they intentionally put your birthday one day before the actual day. Why would they do this?! My guess is that when it comes to canceling the membership, you’re going to have a very tough time doing do, especially since no one working in the gyms can help you actually cancel it, as it must be done online or through the app.MADE THE MISTAKE AND SIGNED UP WITH THIS GYM & UNABLE TO CANCEL??? You’re not alone! Both my girlfriend and I were in the same boat. After hours of detective work and no response from VASA, we discovered the birthday was entered wrong for both of us, by one day. Try using the day before your actual birthday and I bet the cancellation will go through.WHAT A SHADY COMPANY!!!
Good but not 24 hours
Very clean and welcoming! The staff is great, the prices are affordable, and I have never seen anyone leave their equipment without first wiping it down with a Clorox wipe (there are stations with wipes provided at almost every corner). They also offer great classes, a very clean pool, a decent sized locker room, and great childcare. They have someone on call at all times for the childcare which is always reassuring. They follow standard daycare laws as far as the age of the child and the number of adults in the room. It is so comforting knowing that the adult to child ration is always being met. Lets just say that I am glad to be part of such a great gym!
Just a nice facility with nice people. Easy in and out, you can make it whatever you want at very reasonable rates. I have had nothing but a good experience. Ive been a member for just about one year and I upped my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars. I like the new renovations, keep up the good work.
COVID 19 Mask enforcement doesnt exist at this club. After returning to the gym, Ive grown increasingly intolerant of the complete lack of mask enforcement. Departing the club facility today, I counted (15) individuals not wearing masks and voiced my concern at the front desk. Its an ongoing problem Ive witnessed nearly every day, never have I seen a staff member challenge anyone in the club about wearing their mask?
Was a good value gym--lots of great amenities for the price. Was a fun gym for our friend group to meet and enjoy ourselves with a movie, game, workout, and relaxation. However they have removed one of their racquetball courts, one of the main reasons we picked the gym. They seem to favor operating as a simple weights and cardio gym which wasnt really what we were going for. Then COVID-19 occurred and this gym is simply not safe. They list safety measures but they are not done or enforced at all. Masks are only being used going in and out the front doors, not while in the building--so a pointless show. They limited the number of people in the building, but no one is following social distancing. Workers are just ignoring everything. The other stories of cancellation shadiness are true. The app and websites cancellation dont work correctly so we had to call. They wanted to charge us a last month to cancel for a 30 days notice, but we knew about this so that was fine. However, we had already just paid our monthly fee just 2 days before the account was frozen for COVID. So that really was a 2 month charge to cancel. They were able to wave the fee. Just be on top of our account information and auto-payments like that to make sure you catch those type of mistakes as they wont.Since it was becoming non-relevant and completely un-safe, our group found an alternative, safe workout instead and cancelled. The building is well kept and the equipment is maintenance. So it is a very nice place to work out at if youre looking for a simple gym.
Very nice gym, a lot of good equipment. Only downside for me is that it is almost always busy. But if you like a lot of motivation that is another way to look at it! The GM John text me directly to check in after I had used a day pass which showed me that management here cares.
The gym itself is great. Ive never had any problems with the facilities or the staff however, the management and the app are ridiculous. there was nothing in the contract that stated after 2 years, you had to pay a cancellation fee. Just another way to take peoples money. Illegal and a scam.
This is my least favorite location. VASA as a company is great but this location is awful. They clearly don’t require appointments because the gym is constantly packed to the point of waiting 30+ minutes to use a piece of equipment. I think this is one of the smallest locations so if anyone should be requiring appointments, it should be them. When half of their equipment is inoperable due to covid they need to be controlling how many people they have in the gym at one time. I’ve never seen a gym as packed as this location. You can barely move let alone get in a decent workout and I’ve gone multiple times over the past year. It’s honestly worth the drive to go to Littleton.
Constantly get harassed by employees, unfriendly staff for the exception of one elderly gentleman that works there. Staff has a clique and if they do not like you or your beliefs they will revoke your membership. Let me be clear, EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF. Nice facility but run by children it would seem.
I’ve been a member since this location opened and an active member (5-6 days per week) since September 2019. The staff is friendly, supportive and professional (A+ team). The classes are challenging but enjoyable; classes are designed challenge you to to challenge yourself in a fun and friendly manner. I highly recommend VASA gym and will continue attending even after I reach my fitness goals.
I actually was initially very nervous to go here, I havent been to a gym in a long time and last time I went I felt very judged. But this was great. Everyone was super helpful, and the yoga class was spectacular. I highly recommend this gym
Been going here since they opened (hopefully reopening soon!) Staff is great, equipment is great, atmosphere is great. No stuck up people here...sure it can get busy (especially when schools are out) but still plenty to do...shouldnt be anyone complaining.
Vasa has consistently dropped the ball on customer service. There’s no easy way to contact them to update your account. I have never had a harder time trying to reach a company and try and work with them.
Vasa is literally stealing money from me. My wife and I signed up to join Vasa in January of this year. We were asked if we would also like personal training. We did want training but told them we would not be able to start training for 60-90 days due to our business workload at the time. We were told that would be fine as our account would just accrue a balance that we could use for training once we began. We decided to sign up for personal training to begin a few months after. Unfortunately by the time we could begin training the Covid19 virus was in full swing and shortly after Vasa had closed the gym. We tried for 2 months to reach someone with no response outside of an email sent to all members that gym dues would be put on hold. When Vasa finally opened back up I stopped in to talk to someone and they said it would be cancelled. That never happened so we tried again to reach someone to help with our contract. Paramount Acceptance is a 3rd party that Vasa outsources their contracts too. Someone from Paramount called us back and told us we could not cancel but they would delay billing for 3 more months while the Covid19 mandates were in place. In October vasa began billing us again for training that we cannot use. We came to the gym 1 time recently and did not feel that anyone was following the mask and covid guidelines. Some people were not wearing them. Nobody was wiping down equipment after using it. We dont feel Vasa is a Covid Free environment and the governor just increased the warnings to stage 3 as cases surge. Paramount is telling us we have to continue paying for training because the gym is open. So basically they are telling us to disregard all health precautions and mandates so they can keep getting paid. I feel this is completely unethical and putting people at risk that choose not to go to the gym. I want to be refunded for the training and have this cancelled. We do not have any idea when Covid will be safe. Please do the right thing Vasa. Also, please dont post some generic response like I see in the other reviews that someone will be in touch. We all know thats just a cover up. If someone actually helps I will remove or change my review. I am also submitting this to the BBB and FTC.
You guys are the best. If you can keep the theater sound from being exceptionally loud that would be awesome.
These is a great big gym and you got your space and help all around working out!!! Love checking new gyms out but vasa is showing the strength.
So I moved to Florida. Theres no VASA locations or Id continue my membership. They tell me Im required to give 30 days notice so the want to charge me another month plus $49. So over $70 to cancel. DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP WITH THEM. Ive been paying for gym memberships for 20 years and I would never sign up with them again. Well its been 4 days and still no one has reached out to me. Ive checked my email. No missed calls or voice mails.
DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP HERE. All of the 1 star reviews MAGICALLY revolve around the SAME ongoing issues: CANCELLING MEMBERSHIPS. Notice not one response to anyone’s one star review pertaining to said situation? ITS BECAUSE THEY KNOW WE’RE NOT WRONG. Just received an email back, which I had to send a hundred of in the first place with NO RESPONSE, that they’ve finally cancelled my membership. TRASH of a company, literally NO gym membership is better than one with this SHADY company. I’m shocked they’re legally able to get away with ripping people off. Front desk sure is quick to rope you into a membership but CANNOT cancel it?? LISTEN to these reviews, and if you’ve had similar experiences, 👏SPEAK UP!!!👏✊✊
Best friend has a membership and personal training sessions here. Because of Civid19 and the fact that she has an immune issue and doesnt feel safe, they won’t let her cancel her membership, for less than the full amount of $600.Not a good business plan for theses people. Very arrogant
I just went through the cancel fiasco w/ a customer service rep. They require 30 days notice or you are charged for your upcoming dues. The rep also tried to charge me for the yearly fee guarantee so the total would have been $130, even though I am cancelling. I hung up the phone. The rep called me back and said he can waive the fee. Gee, thanks, that was NOT said at the outset of the conversation. We will see what they charge me next month. 1 star - because charging someone for an extra month they wont be there, is robbery. Ive already paid through the upcoming month on 10-5-19, so the extra charge makes NO SENSE. Is an extra $40 worth a 1 star review? If so, you have more coming Im sure. Enjoy my $40.
Come here a lot and all the workers are so rude.ChuzeFitness was way more professional and even planet fitness.
Cannot recommend this gym enough. It has everything you can think of for a fantastic price. Kid care is awesome, and the staff is always friendly. This gym is definitely worth sticking with!
I recently moved to the Denver area and found this gym and its one of the best gyms Ive been to. Its clean, the equipment is great and the staff are always very friendly. The membership price is also great for all the amenities you get! I would highly recommend this gym to anyone.
Did a good job closing when they should have. Staff barely wearing masks, with half their face sticking out. Disappointed in the other people that work out here, nearly no one wearing masks. Protect each other people...
VASA is a great gym. Lots of classes, clean modern training rooms, T.E.A.M training, and excellent trainers. My trainer Alex Chambers is one of the best. He gets you motivated, makes you work hard, and tracks your progress. Most importantly he pays attention to the details by constantly ensuring good form to prevent injury. VASA has a great vibe and a holistic approach to fitness. Thank you VASA and thank you Alex!
Great gym, feels serious in here. Just gotta enforce the mask thing more, I dont want gyms to close again due to a few non maskers (cant believe Im saying it)
Awesome gym and location! Lots of bright, natural light which is a huge plus. Fairly clean and up kept by the staff. My only reason for the 4 stars is because of the pool. It has been all sorts of funky lately. It went from completely foggy with zero visibility to green in color. Not sure who feels safe to swim in that but clearly there is a chemical imbalance. It would be great if they could get it back up and running properly.
I really like the gym. It definitely needs more benches though as every time I want to use them they are always taken. Overall the vibe is great and I feel more motivated to work out here than at my apartment gym! Highly recommend!!
Can I give a zero? Too many members dont wear masks properly and staff doesnt seem to care.
Only vasa that closes early and rushes people out at 950pm
The staff always have a great attitude. Whenever you walk in there’s this atmosphere that can only be described as welcoming. I’ve been to several other branches and every on is the same
The staff is friendly at the gym and the facility is in good condition... but unfortunately the billing system is horrible at communicating. I had a credit card on file that did not work and they waited until $87 worth of charges accumulated to contact me. I tried to resolve the problem with them, but they said there was nothing they could do and would continue to bill me fees until i paid the set amount.
Great gym, Helpful staff
I would tell anyone wanting to get into shape and strengthen their core to join VASA. My experience there, with Alex as my small group trainer, has been excellent. He has helped me to attain my fitness goals, which got put to a test on a recent trip to Italy. Without Alex and his training guidance, I would not have been able to walk the many miles per day required, which also included constantly climbing steep steps. Alex knows just when to push you and encourage you to reach your fitness goals.
Its cold and the fans are blowing at high speed. AC is always on. No chance of sweating here. VERY crowded at all times. Music is almost always on rap and too loud. Reported the music issue to corporate twice to no avail. Clearly management is not concerned with their clientele. Maybe listening to your clients will improve conditions. PROS- good weight selection, usually clean, and the staff is always nice. good value for the cost.
They are fine if you actually work out there. I canceled my membership 10 months ago. And then when I got back into town called to make sure it was done. They still havent canceled it and think I owe them money. This is systematic ripping off. They are purposely not canceling it and trying to accrue charges and thats why they are so cheap on memberships. So that they can keep money later and fight everyone well after they have moved on. I would suggest any other gym, this has been very unprofessional. You can get new weights and a theater at just about any gym in town now, without being ripped off. As if this post I am just at 10 months into trying to cancel and they still have not done it.
Clean, affordable, and full of usefully amenities. The Staff is also very friendly. It does get busy but its understandable seeing as its the best gym Ive ever been a member of.
VASA is a clean gym with a good atmosphere and friendly employees. The team training classes, aerobic classes and personal training sessions are excellent. Specifically, Alex Chambers is an awesome personal trainer and instructor. He is knowledgeable, friendly and a positive coach. I have thrived under his guidance the past few months as I train for an exciting prospect.
Very well organized, extremely clean, great employees and great people that train here! I recommend this gym to everyone. Turf area is great and they have quality well kept machines.Only things I would change is having towel service and more benches in the free weight area. Also a microwave is always nice for those who need to heat up food!
Love this club! From the time I stepped foot inside, signed up with the marketing manager to our club check ins. Every person I’ve interacted with has been wonderful. The women who take care of my son at the day care are fabulous and soooo understanding because my son tends to have behavioral issues trying to figure out how to use words being three years old.I LOOOVVE all the equipment they have to offer also! Could use some extra cleaning but overall great!
The gym floor and locker room are generally really clean. The staff is friendly, and helpful. The facilities are really nice for a $10-20 per month gym. The fitness classes I have tried have been of high quality. The steam room and sauna are always clean too, which is a definite surprise for a facility of this size and cost. Overall, I would say I am getting great quality for what I pay.
