The movers (interstate with intermediate storage-both move out and move in) were really exceptional; timely, polite, professional and went above and beyond. Price a bit on the high side (but even cheaper than others which gave me quotes). Fast, professional and very friendly. Call center and person who gave us the quote also fast and efficient- Not as friendly and polite as the movers (let’s say just not as chill) but still very professional and did their best to accommodate our needs. The quoter actually came in person to supervise and pack our most fragile goods.Would definitely recommend and hire them again.

The staff was friendly and responsive, we had no issues with breakage or damage to any of our property. Our only complaint would be the arrival time on delivery day, rather than the morning it came in the afternoon making for a very long day. Otherwise all went smoothly.

My husband was relocated for a new job in Madison Wisconsin and his company used Maher Brothers. Movers Roy Horning & his helper Braydon were excellent with everything they did. I have a 2 year old and a 3 month old. My 2 year old thinks she has to help everyone with everything and they were great with her. They talked to her and smiled at her, really making her day. They made sure the boxes were stacked safely to make sure she will be safe around them. My 3 month old was fussy and needed to be fed and they were very understanding about me running around in their way trying to take care of her and my toddler. I also appreciated how they were kind enough to take everything around back to my sliding door rather then throughout the building because it was eaiser for me even though it probably wasnt as easy for them. They were very kind in asking where I would like specific boxes and items and overall tried to help organize everything. I would definitely recommend them.

I used Maher Bros for a move from the Chicago-area to Cedar Rapids / Iowa City- Area. Nate arrived on time with the truck and he and his partner immediately went to work. Inventory stickers were affixed to every item that was going on the truck. They were extremely professional, friendly and efficient. They disassembled my platform beds and neatly wrapped everything up. Tim and his crew delivered my things 4 days later. They too were extremely professional, friendly and efficient. They got the platform beds assembled quickly. All of my furniture arrived without any scratches or dents. They even transported my Vespa scooter.i would use this company for a local move or long-distance move. They were the best!

Trying to get help. They are at least receptive to my needs but I had damaged high-end furniture and a lot of broken household goods. Much of my best stuff was broken due to inadequate packing.

Ive made a terrible mistake by not using Maher Brothers. I used another moving company because they were cheaper (not going to say the name) but I guess you get what you pay for! Even tho i didnt use them i called and talk to a gentleman named Larry (not sure last name i think it was edger) and he was so helpful! He calmed my nerves when the move was going terrible and even helped me on how the claim process worked! I will definitely be using Maher the next time I move!

After learning we would not get our possessions for nine days after closing on our home I had a spirited conversation with the dispatcher and our service representative. They made arrangements for our possessions to be delivered with a single truck and only our items on it in a few days after our closing which we were very appreciative. They maintained their integrity in my eyes as a reliable company to haul across the country, thank you.

Marty was the only mover willing to come and do an in house estimate and gave us a not to exceed quote. The Packers were amazing, Amber and Tommy. The loading team and driver Jesse worked in the rain to fill the truck. Again amazing. The load came in lighter than expected and so the bill was less then anticipated. Jesse arrived in Newport News as scheduled, backed down a quarter mile street to get to our place. The local crew worked with Jesse to unload and set up the furniture. I would highly recommend them!

We moved from Bettendorf, Iowa to the Kansas City area and the crew was FANTASTIC. The driver, the head mover, the guys on the crew in Iowa and Kansas were all wonderful. It was a flawless move and they made a huge transition very smooth for our family.

I had such a great experience with these guys, from start to finish. They were professional, courteous, kept in contact me both prior to my move and when it was getting close for my belongings to be delivered in the state I moved, too. They took great care of my belonging, worked extremely hard, and were so friendly. They made such a stressful time so much easier. Great company ! These guys have done it so long they make it look easy. Moved our entire office facility and shop in one day. The best thing is they pay attention to details-- I would not hesitate to use them again. 1st class ! I got tired watching them.

This was by far the worst move EVER!! Damages so many things cant even begin to list. Drove semi partially loaded to and from residence every day and did not secure load. Tried to charge for materials that were never used. Put holes in walls and ruined carpet in new residence. They are affiliated with Allied. Allied, even though they recommended them, will not support you in any way.

They were great and professional. They got me used boxes for free, packed all the furniture up with care, and were very friendly. Nothing was broken or scratched. The only downside was how long I had to wait for my delivery date, but that is the only negative thing I had to say. I highly recommend them for your big moves.

My estimater, Mike Kabela, was awesome! I packed myself and he gave tips, answered every question promptly, and provided boxes and paper, delivering to me three times! He also crated some big marble pieces, all of which arrived in one piece.I was concerned moving day when the office had not called to verify and to give me arrival time, but they showed up on the appointed day. The diver, Nicholas, was efficient and personable, with a good local team. It was a complicated move with many items remaining behind, but there were few glitches. Everything arrived safely, although a day late due to engine problems.I would highly recommend them.
