Ive only been employed about a month so far but honestly its been one of the best months of work Ive ever had. Ive met so many great people along the way and learned tons of new skills that have helped me not only with my job but even things to help motivate and grow inside as a person too. More than thankful for getting the opportunity to be apart of the TLC family!

Brand new management is showing a new side of respect, listening skills, and teamwork. This is BECOMING a place you are good with waking up for and happy to see the person grinding next to for decent pay with training for bonuses. Also, once I asked to be looked at for managing a team they were all about getting me to the places I wanted to be in the company. Sad I had to leave for personal reasons but, will be back if I can make it happen.

Amazing place to work! We are always having fun while being productive and they’re is always a game or something of the sort going on. Always a chance for bonuses plus a raise every 6 months. Staff is friendly and eager to work with you on anything you need (work related or not)

Probably the best call center to work for in the area. Many changes have been made this year to make the atmosphere more fun and increased pay. Good, low stress job.

I’ve worked at tlc for almost 3 months now and I love my job so much! They make work fun by giving out prizes and rewards for almost anything you accomplish at that job and honestly you can move up in the company so quickly and they work with you so well with work and even outside of work problems! I love everyone I work with and everyone there just wants to see success!! I’ve worked in a call center before but by far tlc is my favorite!!

It seems like a great place to work when you first start. You feel like youre going to be compensated well for your work and that youre in a fairly reasonable work environment. However, this is not the case.If youre a slacker it will be a great place to work as you will get your raise every 6 months for first 3 years no matter your performance. In fact, your performance does not matter at all as long as youre there. There are no performance based raises.They expect you to be sat down and logged in before clocking in. Theyre not family friendly and having to tend to sick children leaving school etc you have to worry about losing your job.I had an appointment with HR that they changed multiple times before actually sticking through then were 45 minutes late to said appointment and proceded to try to BS me the entire time.This company is a terrible place to work and their employees mean jack to them.

This company actually deserves -5 stars. My son (now deceased) is still owed 2 paychecks PLUS 10.69 hours of PTO. Ive sent emails, made phones calls, sent certified letters, all with NO response. My son died owning nothing but his clothes. Ottumwa should be ashamed to have a business of this kind in their city!!

Awesome place to work. Provides stellar contact center support for their clients. Values their employees and the community they reside in.

Good hours, they are willing to give chances, most programs are friendly but unless you get a sales position and, are really good at it, the pay is subminimal. There is a decent break room with TV and vending machines which stays clean but the womens bathroom is usually gross. Its easy to make friends there but the turn over rate is so high you have to be willing to put effort in to keep the friends. Great for a first job or reintroduction to the workforce job but unless you are a killer sales person or manage to get on a management track not somewhere to stick around too long. Raises are based on how long youve been there not how good you do and only increase for maybe five years and change cents at a time not dollars.

Amazing staff! Very professional and friendly. They even called me with reminders and worked with my changing schedule. Very happy with the results of lasik through them. I would recommend them to everyone I know! 5 out of 5 stars.

The starting wage at this company is 8.90 per hour. Im just going to leave that there for anyone who has precious children to support. Good luck to you and your family.

Good people, nice supervisors on the programs Ive been on, which has been only 2 programs. The vending machines are a bit pricey though. $1.40 for a bottle of water, I can understand the pop being that high but a bottle of water, no way, the chips are cheaper than that at only $1. But overall good place.

I have worked here twice. It was an okay company. (Watch out for the upsell. ) I Recently tried to come back and they wont accept me because I have been hired to many times. I know about 4 people who currently work there that have been rehired at least FIVE times. Its okay though. I Dont want to come back. The higher up people think there better then the rest of us. News flash if we are all in the same place of work none of us a better than anyone. Its not very clean either. I was supposed to become a supervisor. But they dragged on the process and came up with an excuse of why I couldnt or why they didnt have time to teach me. I would help people even when I wasnt supposed to. I made many sales but you let drug addicts and alcoholics come and work in your whole building. Rumors about bed bugs, Im pretty sure it wasnt a rumor. There was a Popeye seed bug crawling on my desk I told someone about it and they try to blow it off. With all the nasty dirty people who go in and out of there Im sure there were bed bugs and roaches. Ill never work for your company again.

WOW my 2 BR Apartment was large and roomy and there was a Swimming Pool outside too !

I did enjoy this place because of co workers however. The building smelled like pot. When said something it would be ignored. They ask if you can pass a drug test and if you say no they look the other way on some programs. Miss the people not the job

Only reason I even give 1 star is cause I had to in order to post. This is the most inconsiderate place ever. I worked for them 4 years ago and they fire me without even calling me while I was on approved vacation and they let me come in and try to log in and acted like oh well we aint gonna tell her till I tried to log in my computer. Then they try to deny my vacation was approved when I had the paper stating it was. Never got paid for that and they tried to fight the unemployment but the supervisor was to high on cocaine that he didnt even care. This is the worst place you could ever work at. Dont trust them I was with them for a year cause I had a car payment that was it.

I loved working at TLC till after my 6 months of working the they started changing everything from rules to how programs work all that i could handle but what made me quit was one supervisor she sits on her phone most of the night she will draw on the call floor she does everything they tell you not to do on the call floor if they would have just fired her i would have stayed never will i work for this company again

Great place to work, second to none. They promote from whithin and give every single employee the tools to succeed and the opportunity to advance.

I have never felt less of a person than being a employee here. They over promise and under deliver as far as benefits and pay. Rachetering at its finest as far as pay goes. If u dont want to waste your time find employment elsewhere. #twoyearsofexperiencehere.

Miss Janae is right. Oh yes honey there is definitely bed bugs. They’re crawling out of the cubicles and on the tables. I was bitten several times and when I raised the topic to management they gaslighted me telling me there’s no bed bugs when I CAUGHT on on my desk. They don’t want to clean up after the fact that they higher drug addicts, alcoholics, and dirty, unprofessional people who are bringing the bed bugs in. The call center is not clean, clearly it’s crawling with bugs, but the trash they hire literally leaves their trash and food crumbs everywhere. I work at a call center with high standards and TRUST ME you can do so much better, this is one of the worst call centers you’ll find next to a scam artist call center. The management is condensending but they’re not better than anyone else in fact they’re all nasty because they’re completely fine with the fact they got bugs crawling all over them.

I was cheated out of my commission for sales. This company is terrible.

The management team here is very very nice. They work hard and bend over backwards to try to keep their employees.

Dont work here this place is not nice and the managers are demons and they treat you like trash just because your a temp worker

Infested with bed bugs, no heat, the bathrooms are disgusting, and managers are very inconsiderate and rude!

Told me my job took precedence over my family. No! Not now not ever. Family first.
