Awesome job. Arrived on time. Explained everything, including the time it will take to dry thoroughly. Placed heavy furniture on pads to help with drying. Curtis answered all my questions and provided other information I hadnt thought about. He found some deep stains and was able to extract it with a second application. Told me if it shows up again (because of wicking) to call the office and they will return. This is my second time using SS and we are very pleased. Thanks for making the carpets look like new.

Why did I originally give a three star review? The gentlemen who came were prompt and polite. They went through the process of cleaning the carpets, and made certain the the water source was turned off properly. I remained in the kitchen out of their way most of the time. However, from what I heard, and from the results, it seems that they went through a standard cleaning routine, but made no extra effort to remove spots, or treat areas that had some extra soil. The main parts of our living room look nice. But I can see no improvement on the traffic area in the hallway and in some areas of noticeable soil in front of some furniture and on some spots. I have since treated some of these areas myself, and there is some improvement; I will continue the process over the next couple of days. But I need to have a knee replacement, and it is difficult for me to get down on my knees; the idea was to have the professionals do this work. Perhaps there was a miscommunication regarding the nature of the job, but in any case the results are somewhat disappointing.The Rest of the Story: My rating is not 5 stars. Why the change? A couple of days after I posted the review, I received a call from a gentleman from Stanley Steemer. His conversation with me was about the same as his response to this review. He expressed concern that I was disappointed with the results of the cleaning, and assured me that they have a service pledge. He asked if they could send a supervisor to check the situation.An appointment was set and Curtis arrived this afternoon. He promptly determined that there were areas that did not meet Stanley Steemer standards, and offered to address the problems immediately. Less than an hour later, he had finished. Having used a couple of different techniques and products, he had produced great results. The carpet looks just like I had hoped when I booked the service. I am delighted and appreciate the professionalism with which my first review was handled. I will call them again when the carpet needs a cleaning. Thank you

First time user, they were easy to book an appointment with. Came earlier than we scheduled, but also called to make sure it was OK. Curtis was the guy they send and he was super friendly and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions. We just had the basement cleaned and it went very quickly. (We had everything moved except for the sectional, which he moved around for us) we used them to try help with the dog smell, so well see if it worked when it dries. But it already looks better and smells better even when wet so I dont have any doubts it will be better.

The guys who came today.... Chris and Jesse were very professional. First off they had to wait for me and werent angry or rude. I was surprised they waited. They also did an excellent job of cleaning my mothers couch, love seat and mattress. I will absolutely be using Stanley steamer again. Thank you for your help today

The team from Stanley Steemer cleaned the carpets in the rec room, the master bedroom and master bedroom closet. They also cleaned the tile floor in the kitchen!The service was done within a couple of days of my request and the 2 man crew was very capable and polite.The carpet in the rec room had not been professionally cleaned for at least 20 years and there were several difficult stains. The crew returned twice at no charge to redo those difficult stains.The carpets and the tile floor look wonderful! My husband and I are very pleased with the service provided by Stanley Steemer and will definitely use them for our future cleaning needs.

Our carpets are 16 years old and over the years have had a lot of traffic, so we didnt expect a miracle. But we didnt expect half of the garage to be covered with water either which I had to squeegee out along with moving many soaked items to our driveway to dry out. The water spigot was not completely turned off, along with their hose leaking. What a mess.

I always use Stanley Steemer when I need my carpets cleaned. They are efficient and reliable and they do a wonderful job. I would be reluctant to use any other carpet cleaners. Our carpets have taken a beating during and after the derecho. All through the rebuilding process, I could relax knowing that I would have Stanley Steemer come and clean the carpets when all the other work was finished!!

Our carpet didn’t look like it had been cleaned AT ALL! It was still still dirty, and matted. The couch they cleaned also appeared to not looked cleaned. The worst part, they didn’t put protection order the furniture so when we moved it back it left large brown streaks. I will never use Stanley Steemer again. So disappointed.

Service reps were friendly and did a quick job, no complaints there. Charge for scotch-guard is over priced. Was told it cost $24. my understanding was that it was for both rooms and the hallway. But was $24 for each room and $15 for hallway. Feel this was to much for something that took about 2 minutes for each room and 30 seconds for the hallway. Hope it works as advertised!!!

I’ve used this service before and the guys have always been friendly. This time around the guys show up on time and go right to work per usual. The job was done and that is the minimum expectation. For that, I gave the three stars but a lack of friendliness makes a person with my background.....uneasy. The world is a strange place and we are all a little on edge. To be clear, I am not asking for conversation or interaction. I will say a smile goes a long way, even if it’s fake.

The cleaners were on time and the job well done. The 2 staff members could use a little more personality and weren’t wearing masks when they arrived but put their masks on while cleaning though. My husband and I gad our masks on when they arrived.

The team was very friendly and professional. They were on time and very efficient. Our carpets looked great when they were done. The only issue we had was that about 20 minutes after they left our house, our carbon monoxide alarms kept going off. Our utility company couldnt find anything wrong with our equipment and said it could have had something to do with this service (unverified). Other than that set back we are very happy with our service.

Easy to make appointment on line. They called to confirm appointment time. The two gentlemen showed up on time and were very professional. My carpet is a little bit older so wasnt sure what to expect. They did a great job and carpet turned out better than what I was hoping for. I will certainly use them again in the future.

It was 127$ for 1 room. Worse than that I can still smell the dog pee! I want it redone at no cost. I dont want Curt doing it. He said hed clean up the mess he made but he didnt. The carpet wasnt dry for a couple days

I recently had cleaning done on three bedrooms. Lighter colored carpet was showing darker areas from traffic patterns coming off hallway. Those areas came cleaner than expected after they had completed their work.Overall happy with the results and will use again. ...

Chris and Chris showed up on time, very professional, and very polite! Cleaned my living room carpet and hallway within one hour, and my old carpet looks new again! Both Chris and Chris answered all my questions, they explained what they were doing as they worked, and I was very pleased with the end result of having beautiful clean carpet again. The two guys that cleaned my carpet were very professional and sweet. They told me exactly what they were going to do and they were finished in under an hour. My carpet is very old and had cat odors in it and they were able to make it fresh and clean. Granted it took a couple days for it to dry but one week later it looks great and no more smell. I would highly recommend Stanley Steemer. 👍

Ive hired Stanley Steemer in the past and had better results. Job seemed rushed, one pass over each area and although we paid extra for deodorizing, we have a pet stain that smells worse now than before. Carpet looks okay, staff was nice. Also dont care for the wax or residue left on ceramic tile after cleaning. Will probably hire a different company next time. Deodorizing not worth the additional cost. Also, the time that I arranged was changed twice due to the companys schedule, not at my convenience.

First time customer. Lead person was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Answered our questions. Did a great job on the carpet and did extra work on a couple of dirty spots from the furniture mechanisms. Will definitely use them again.

I will start with the negatives:First, the quote process online is a joke, they get here and tell you all your measurements were off and everything you input will end up costing more - just know that going in. Second, the guy shows up and tells me there is no way this room is 300sq ft or less, youll have to pay for 2 rooms when I measured it and it is 280 sq ft of carpet. He also added rooms to the basement unnecessarily to charge me more. Third, I requested he NOT spray one of his add-on products on my basement carpet to which he agreed after a long talk about how I didnt want to spend the money, but when he left told me he did it anyway at no charge to you, however it appeared on my bill as a charge. Lastly, he attempted to sell me additional items while he was here such as door mats that I had no indication of needing after I had already made it clear I was trying not to spend more on this service.The positive:The guy was nice and the carpets looked good when they left. I was just very disappointed in how many different ways they try to get money out of you and then dont explain the bill when he claimed to have comped products for me. I paid multiple hundreds of dollars over what I was expecting from my online purchase.

We happened to have a foundation issue the day we scheduled for a carpet cleaning. Curtis was absolutely wonderful. Worked hard to help us save our basement carpet and got everything working on it that same day. He was so helpful and was top notch in his customer service!!!

Good experience using a carpet cleaning service which I never used Stanley Steemer before. Very nice guys, funny, and knowledgeable. Asked questions and they took the time to answer. Took about an hour to do 4 rooms and some stairs. After they left I used my Bissell carpet cleaner to suck up the rest of the water which I noticed was pretty dirty. Using Stanley Steemer helped release dirt that I hadnt noticed before. So Im happy. Thanks Stanley Steemer.

The guys that came out did a great job, were very informative and provided excellent service. They also did some extra work to take out a couple of stains on the carpet...thank you...overall a great job! The only complaint I have was that after my area rug was cleaned/dried, it was delivered, but not unrolled for me. It was difficult to do this with just one person.

Cleaning the carpet for 6 rooms, a hallway and steps took one hour.Did not seem like enough time to do a through cleaning.The carpet was wet and took 24 hours to dry.10 minutes of that hour was spent trying to sell additional services and products.This is not the first time we have used Stanley Steamer,My biggest issue is, the carpet is kind of clean, but for the money I spent, I was hoping for a more through cleaning.

Corey and Chris did a great job on my carpeting! I had no idea it would look like brand new carpet when they were finished I had some bad stains that were completely lifted which I thought would never ever come out they were really friendly and professional and took a lot of extra time with me because I cant hear well they were patient with me and explained over and over again everything that they were doing which I really appreciated it. Never imagined the carpet would look this great, I would recommend Stanley Steemer to anyone 4 any type of carpet and any issues, try them before replacing your carpeting I almost replaced it and so glad I didnt spend the money to do that

The crew was friendly, efficient, and thorough. They did a fantastic job.

Worst experiance I’ve ever had with customer service. Curtis came to clean our carpets, and attached his equipment to our bathroom sink. After trying to attach a piece he had taken off the sink, he cracked the entire faucet down to the counter, resulting in water shooting out in every direction. All together the repair cost $281. He let my room mate know about the damage before leaving, and my room mate said he would see what our landlord could do about it. Our landlord said they would repair it, but we would have to cover the cost. I called Stanley’s and informed them what had happened, and they said they would send out a manager to assess the damage. Curtis was the manager, and came into the house and said why am I here I already told you about the sink. He said he would get his own repair man to do the job. I called back the receptionist, and asked her about what he has told us. She said she did not have time to deal with us, and that it was not her job to repair sinks before abruptly handing up. Now, no one will respond to the invoice and I am stuck paying the $281 of damages the apparent manager, Curtis, has brought upon me. Not to mention the carpet cleaning was below average.

Stanley Steemer did the entire house about 3400 square feet and did a fantastic job and got done in 5 hours

Stanley Steemer, Chris and Cory, did a truly outstanding job of removing the stains from a grossly, filthy carpet in our rental unit. I was amazed at how clean the carpet came out. Thank you Chris and Cory, you will be my first call the next time we need to carpet cleaning.

I called to get a quote. They would not honor the quote. They left a pile of wet carpet fuzz in my driveway. I called afterwards and was told I would hear back from someone in 24 to 48 hours. 48 hours has passed and I have not heard from anyone.

The customer service was PRICELESS.

Do not trust the ads especially the one in Valpak. Also the quote from the website went from ~$200 to ~$300 when they arrived to do the work. They will nickel and dime you to death.
